Abstract

This study aims to find out what factors influence the low interest of students in mathematics and how the efforts of teachers in fostering students' interest in learning in Mathematics class V at SD Negeri Ngeni 06 Blitar Regency. The type of research used is qualitative research. Activities in this study were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the research that has been done, it was found that there are several factors that influence the low interest in learning students in mathematics, including the internal factors of students as indicated by the lack of interest in learning about mathematics and they assume that mathematics is an abstract and difficult subject, students' attention still low in mathematics and has an effect on low student achievement in mathematics. The factor of low student interest in learning also comes from external factors. Based on the results of interviews with teachers, it shows that teachers still use conventional methods and do not maximize existing learning media in teaching mathematics so that they are less attractive to students. Besides that, how to educate parents at home also affects students' learning interest when at school. The conclusion in this study is the efforts made by the teacher in fostering student interest in learning, especially in mathematics by using web-based interactive media (google sites) and using a variety of learning methods.

Abstract

Orang tua berperan penting dalam pembentukan karakter agama anak, namun hal ini menjadi masalah pada pembelajaran daring yang menuntut orang tua sekaligus sebagai pendamping akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan formulasi belajar, implementasi dan karakter yang berkembang dalam diri anak pada saat belajar dari rumah. Metode kualitatif diterapkan dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian: (1) Formulasi belajar dari rumah di RA El-Faraby dilaksanakan atas kesepakatan guru dan orang tua siswa dengan metode pembelajaran daring dan luring. (2) Orang tua menyediakan berbagai kegiatan dan berinovasi ketika belajar dari rumah, secara proaktif memanfaatkan peluang yang ada sebagai bagian dari pembelajaran, memberikan teladan dan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk mengembangkan potensi, minat, dan bakat anak, sehingga dapat menumbuhkan karakter. Orang tua dan guru juga melakukan variasi dan inovasi dengan berbagai kegiatan yang menyenangkan. (3) Karakter yang berkembang dalam diri anak adalah terbiasa sopan santun dalam bertutur kata dan bersikap, taat pada aturan, rajin beribadah, berdoa sebelum dan sesudah melaksanakan kegiatan, bersikap mandiri, menyayangi keluarga, teman, guru dan orang lain.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian dan pengembangan yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan e-LKPD menggunakan iSpring pada tema 7 subtema 3 pembelajaran 3 dan 4 di kelas 5 SD yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan model ADDIE dengan langkah-langkahnya antara lain analyze, design, develop, implement, dan evaluate. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi mencapai 87,5% dan termasuk kategori sangat valid, ahli bahan ajar mencapai 100% dan termasuk kategori sangat valid dan dari guru sebagai pengguna mencapai 96,8% dan termasuk kategori sangat valid. Adapun hasil uji coba kepraktisan kelompok kecil mencapai 100% dari siswa dan 100% dari guru. Hasil uji coba kepraktisan kelompok besar mencapai 97,2% dari siswa dan 100% dari guru. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ­e-LKPD menggunakan iSpring pada tema 7 subtema 3 pembelajaran 3 dan 4 di kelas 5 SD valid dan praktis serta dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran daring.Abstract: The research and development carried out aims to produce e-LKPD using iSpring on theme 7 sub-theme 3 learning 3 and 4 in 5th-grade elementary school which is valid and practical. This research and development use the ADDIE model with the steps including analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. The validation results from material expert reached 87.5% and included in the very valid category, teaching materials expert reached 100% and included in the very valid category and from the teacher, as a user, it reached 96.8% and included in the very valid category. The results of the small group practicality trial reached 100% of the students and 100% of the teacher. The results of the large group practicality trial reached 97.2% of students and 100% of teacher. Based on those results, it can be concluded that the e-LKPD Using iSpring on theme 7 sub-theme 3 learning 3 and 4 in grade 5 SD is valid and practical and can be used in learning.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi merupakan tolok ukur kemajuan suatu bangsa. Literasi penting bagi peserta didik karena membaca dan menulis merupakan langkah dasar untuk dapat memahami dan menguasai materi pelajaran. Selain itu, materi tentang lambang/simbol memerlukan penjelasan lebih lanjut kepada orang lain terutama dalam bentuk tulisan. Agar gagasan/penjelasan yang disampaikan benar-benar sesuai harapan, diperlukan kemampuan menulis yang baik. Aplikasi PicsArt menjadi pilihan yang tepat sebagai media pembelajaran yang menarik dan menantang karena memadukan antara tulisan dan gambar. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi PicsArt terhadap kemampuan menulis dan literasi digital peserta didik kelas 3 SD pada materi lambang/simbol. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif quasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control design. Populasi yang digunakan adalah peserta didik kelas 3 tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 di UPT SD Negeri Nglegok 02 Kecamatan Nglegok yang berjumlah 43 peserta didik. Kelas 3A sebagai kelas eksperimen (perlakuan) berjumlah 22 peserta didik dan kelas 3B sebagai kelas konvensional (kontrol) berjumlah 21 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penilaian berupa tes (pretest dan posttest). Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji standard gain, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Picsart berpengaruh cukup efektif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan literasi menulis dengan bukti perolehan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 71,70 atau 71,7%, nilai minimum 39,76% dan nilai maksimum 94,32%. Sementara itu, nilai rata-rata pada kelas kontrol hanya 16,93% termasuk kategori tidak efektif, nilai minimum 0% dan nilai maksimum 41,67%. Penggunaan aplikasi Picsart berpengaruh efektif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan literasi digital dengan bukti perolehan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 83,18 atau 83,2%, nilai minimum 50% dan nilai maksimum 100%. Sedangkan rata-rata pada kelas kontrol hanya 20,95% termasuk kategori tidak efektif, nilai minimum -33,3% dan maksimum 40%. Penelitian di UPT SDN Nglegok 02 Kecamatan Nglegok telah membuktikan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Picsart berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan literasi tulis dan literasi digital siswa kelas 3 pada konten bahasa Indonesia materi lambang/lambang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini direkomendasikan kepada guru untuk menggunakan aplikasi berbasis android dalam pembelajarannya khususnya aplikasi PicsArt untuk materi lambang/lambang yang membutuhkan perpaduan antara gambar dan deskripsi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik terpadu berbasis Project Based Learning/PjBL di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang dihasilkan berupa deskripsi model perencanaan pembelajaran tematik terpadu berbasis PjBL dan deskripsi model pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik terpadu berbasis PjBL di SD Kota Blitar. Subyek penelitian ini adalah seorang guru pendukung pembelajaran tematik terpadu di tiga sekolah dasar di Kota Blitar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran terpadu berbasis PjBL di SD Perbatasan memiliki persentase rata-rata 98,3%, SD Luar 97,2% dan SD Perkotaan 98,6%; sedangkan penerapan model pembelajaran tematik terpadu berbasis PjBL di SD Perbatasan memperoleh persentase rata-rata 84,4%, SD Luar 71,4%, dan SD Perkotaan 88,6%. Disimpulkan bahwa guru SD di Kota Blitar dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran tematik terpadu berbasis PjBL diperoleh rata-rata 89,43%. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa guru memiliki kemampuan yang sangat baik dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran tematik terpadu berbasis PjBL di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe (1) teachers' understanding of independent curriculum policies, (2) teachers' readiness in formulating learning objectives of the Pancasila profile, (3) teachers' readiness in implementing 21st century learning, and (4) teachers' readiness in identifying students' potentials. The research design uses surveys and needs analysis. The study population consisted of 40 elementary school teachers in cluster 4 of Nglegok District, covering 5 institutions. The sample is determined using a random technique. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and interviews with teachers and principals. The results showed that the teachers understood (1) the essence of the independent curriculum policy, (2) how to formulate learning objectives for Pancasila student profiles, (3) how to implement 21st century learning, (4) the concept of identifying various kinds of student potential. The recommendations from the results of this study are: teachers need reinforcement in understanding learning outcomes in the independent curriculum, how to develop learning paths and objectives, steps for preparing school operational curricula, and implementing projects to strengthen Pancasila student profiles. Abstract

The challenges of the ever-growing digital world require students to have digital literacy skills. However, this ability is not yet fully possessed by students, especially at the Elementary School/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve digital literacy skills at the Elementary School/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level. This research aims to find out whether giving HOTS questions based on CBT can improve students' digital literacy skills at MI Perwanida, Blitar City. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research or quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all class IV students at MI Perwanida, Blitar City. Samples were taken using a side random technique. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests, then analyzed using the independent t-test. Based on the research results, it shows that the experimental class that was taught using HOTS questions assisted by CBT had good digital literacy skills compared to the control class.

Abstract

Bullying or harassment was a negative behavior involving the abuse of power or authority by individuals or groups with the aim of hurting others, which could lead to trauma. The aim of this research was to develop a reporting application called Student Helpcare to help reduce cases of bullying and harassment at the elementary school. This type of research was research and development (R&D) using the Borg and Gall development model, which consisted of ten stages including: information gathering and preliminary research; planning; initial product draft development; internal testing; revision; small-scale testing; revision; large-scale testing; final product revision; and dissemination. The instruments used were questionnaires, including product validation questionnaires given to media and language experts, practicality and effectiveness questionnaires given to teachers and students, and interview instruments given to the school principal, teachers, and students. The data collection stages in this research included questionnaires, interviews, and documentation as supporting evidence. The results of the study explained that the developed application product met valid, practical, and effective criteria. This application product received a validity score from media experts of 4.93, categorized as very valid, and from language experts, a score of 4.54, also categorized as very valid. The practicality score of the product from teachers received an average of 4.65, categorized as very practical, and the practicality score from students received an average of 94.2%, also categorized as very practical. The effectiveness of the product received an average score from teachers of 4.45, and from students an average score of 93.4%, indicating that the product developed was effective in reporting and receiving reports related to bullying or harassment in elementary schools.

Abstract

21st century abilities are required to face the challenges, problems, living, and careers of the modern age. These abilities include critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration (4C). In the context of problem-based learning in IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) education, critical thinking is quite relevant. The goal of this study is to examine the critical thinking abilities of fifth-grade students in IPAS learning. This study applies a quantitative approach to investigate data in real world settings. The study includes 27 fifth-grade students from a public primary school in Blitar Regency, East Java. The instrument utilized is a descriptive test sheet that measures five components of critical thinking as defined by Ennis: offering simple explanations, developing basic abilities, drawing conclusions, providing additional explanations, and developing strategies and tactics. These five components are further expanded into ten indications of critical thinking ability. The analysis’s findings indicate that students’ typical critical thinking abilities are divided into three categories: medium category 10%, low category 60%, and extremely low 30%. These insights can be used to build more effective learning innovations that improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop a multiliteracy learning model based on Topeng Malangan literature to improve literacy culture and global diversity attitude in grade IV elementary school students. This study used the ADDIE research and development method, which involved fourth-grade students at SDN Talangagung 2 Kepanjen. Data were collected through expert validation, student and teacher responses, observation, and literacy skills tests. The results showed the model's effectiveness in improving students' literacy skills with a high level of interest (80-92.3%) and understanding of the material (84.6-86.67%). The model also successfully developed students' global diversity attitudes, with 80-92.3% reporting increased knowledge. Expert validation covering readability, material suitability, and learning aspects in elementary schools showed excellent results with scores of 90.90%, 88.33%, and 86.42%, respectively. The learning model received excellent effectiveness ratings, with 91.40% and 92.47% in the two classes studied. This research contributes significantly to developing innovative and contextualized Indonesian language learning strategies at the primary school level by integrating local wisdom and multiliteracy approaches to improve literacy skills and cultural understanding.
