Abstract

This study is focused on (1) the directive acts in Indonesian elementary classroom discourse, and (2) the impact of its use in classroom settings. The method used in this study was ethnography and pragmatics approach. The results of the dataanalysis are as follows (1) the directive acts in elementary school settings include the actof ordering, asking, encouraging, questioning, and directing, and(2) the impacts of its are silent response, doing the task according to the provision of the command, as well as the attitudes of students who are willing to respond to and be responsive to the learning process.

Abstract

This research was aimed at describing as well as explaining certain types of Indonesian illocutionary acts, usages, and their impacts on family interactions. Communicative and pragmatic designs were used in the research. The results of the research   indicate   that   Indonesian   commissive   illocutionary   acts   in   family interactions  include  promises  as  well  as  bargain  actions,  and  these  actions  can develop through various powers. They are implicated by the usage of the following principles:  politeness,  cooperation  and  values  developing  in  the  family.  The principles are also influenced by the socio-cultural dimensions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran STAD dan Mind Mapping terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu quasi experiment dengan rancangan non equivalent control group. Data penelitian yang dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes hasil belajar berupa soal pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran STAD dan Mind Mapping lebih unggul dibandingkan rata-rata nilai siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional, (2) ada pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran STAD dan Mind Mapping terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study is a case study using multi-sites since the sources of data consisted of five couples of young families having interpersonal relationships between parents and children in the family. Design of this study is communication ethnography and pragmatics. These two designs brought about the following methodological implications: firstly, the interpretation of Indonesian illocutionary act in family interaction was based on emic perspective, and secondly, the meaning of the Indonesian illocutionary act in family interaction was based on more process-based rather than product-based discourse. Data of the study were two types: (1) the data taken from the speech acts, and (2) the data taken from field notes. These two types of data were collected through recording, observation, and interview. The data were collected and than analyzed by using an interactive model. The technique of analyzing data were done through four steps: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data display, and (4) conclusion drawings.

Abstract

Abstract: Student 4 grade of Sumberingin 04 elementary school in Blitar regency has difficulty presenting important information about historical narrative text. The difficulties experienced when students could not understand the content contained in reading well. The study was conducted with the aim to improve student learning outcomes on the material to expose the important information narrative text history using a character based SQ4R models to read. The type of research used is class action research (PTK) with two cycles. Results of the study acquired teacher activity cycle I 84 percent, cycle II 98 percent. Students activity cycle I 78 percent, cycle II 94 percent. The knowledge cycle results I 76 percent, cycle II to 89 percent. Skill cycle I 69 percent, cycle II to 89 percent. Results improvement of the thorough attitude of the cycle I 62 percent, self confidence 65 percent, attitude responsibility 62 percent, in cycles II meticulous attitude 89 percent, confidence attitude 89 percent, responsibility attitude 82 percent. Increased character likes reading cycles I 62 percent, cycle II 88 percent. Abstrak: Siswa kelas V SDN Sumberingin 04 Kabupaten Blitar mengalami kesulitan dalam memaparkan informasi penting teks narasi sejarah. Kesulitan yang dialami disebakan karena siswa tidak bisa memahami isi yang terkandung dalam bacaan dengan baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi memaparkan informasi penting teks narasi sejarah menggunakan model SQ4R berbasis karakter gemar membaca. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian diperoleh aktivitas guru siklus I 84 persen, siklus II 98 persen. Aktivitas siswa siklus I 78 persen, siklus II 94 persen. Hasil pengetahuan siklus I 76 persen, siklus II menjadi 89 persen. Hasil keterampilan siklus I 69 persen, siklus II menjadi 89 persen. Hasil peningkatan sikap teliti siklus I 62 persen, sikap percaya diri 65 persen, sikap tanggung jawab 62 persen, pada siklus II sikap teliti 89 persen, sikap percaya diri 89 persen, sikap tanggung jawab 82 persen. Peningkatan karakter gemar membaca siklus I 62 persen, siklus II 88 persen.

Abstract

Abstract: The results of the observation in 4th grade at SDN Kalipang 3 Kabupaten Blitar is known that the learning Indonesian language especially writing a poetry, the teacher used lecture method, discussion, and assignment. Some students become less competent in writing skills. Sometimes, the teacher does the Outdoor Learning method on the other material, but it is hard for the teacher to manage the students who busy playing and not pay attention while the teacher is explaining. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of Outdoor Learning method on writing poetry skill of 4th grade students in SDN Kalipang 3, Kabupaten Blitar. This research used nonequivalent control group research design by used experiment quasi research two groups, include experimental class and control class. Both classes have different results. The results of the data used N-gain score who said that the value of sig. (2-tailed) equal variances not assumed with the value 0.463 bigger than 0.05. It is concluded that there is not influence of Outdoor Learning method on writing poetry skills’ students in 4th grade in SDN Kalipang 3, Kabupaten Blitar. Abstrak: Pada hasil observasi dikelas IV SDN Kalipang 3 Kabupaten Blitar diketahui bahwa pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia khususnya pada materi menulis puisi, guru menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi dan penugasan. Sehingga terdapat beberapa siswa menjadi kurang terampil dalam menulis puisi, Sesekali guru melakukan metode Outdoor Learning pada mata pelajaran lain, tetapi guru sulit untuk mengelola siswa yang sibuk bermain dan tidak memperhatikan ketika guru sedang menjelaskan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode outdoor learning terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa dikelas IV SDN Kalipang 3 Kabupaten Blitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group dengan Jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen dua kelompok yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Karena terdapat perbedaan pada hasil kemampuan awal maka Hasil penelitian pengolahan data menggunakan N-gain score yang menyebutkan bahwa nilai sig. (2-tailed) equal variaces not assummed dengan nilai 0,463 lebih besar dari 0,05 hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh metode Outdoor Learning terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi siswa dikelas IV SDN Kalipang 3 Kabupaten Blitar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk e-modul berbasis game based learning materi pengukuran dengan penguatan karakter gemar membaca dan menghargai prestasi untuk siswa SD yang valid menurut validator dan praktis menurut pengguna. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model Borg and Gall bersumber buku Sugiyono yang terdiri atas 10 tahap. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini adalah kualitatif kuantitatif. Sumber data diperoleh dari hasil analisis kebutuhan, validasi ahli, uji coba produk, dan uji coba pemakaian. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, produk memperoleh persentase kelayakan 95,48% dari validator materi, 99% dari validator bahan ajar, 96.03% dari validator bahasa dan 96.25% dari validator pengguna. Berdasarkan uji coba, produk memperoleh persentase kepraktisan 100% dari 6 siswa SDN Blitar dan 92,214% dari 18 siswa SDN Kauman II Kota Blitar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk masuk dalam kategori valid menurut validator dan praktis menurut siswa sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research is aimed to develop multiple intelligences-based thematic comic module. This research used research and development approach Dick Carey and Carey model. The procedures of the module development are: (1) identifying learning objectives, (2) learning analysis, (3) students and context analysis, (4) formulating specific learning objectives, (5) developing assessment instrument, (6) developing learning strategy, (7) developing and choosing learning material, (8) designing and conducting learning formative evaluation, (9) revising learning material. This research has been conducted up to the seventh step that is developing and choosing learning material. The results of this step are: (1) student’s module design, (2) teacher’s guideline design. This student module entitled multiple intelligences-based thematic comic module with environment theme that consists of three sub-theme, they are: (1) family environment, (2) school environment), (3) society environment. The component consists of: opening (title, foreword, user guidelines, module part, character introduction, and content list), main part (concept map, news, and expectation box), and learning (material exploration, let’s practice, assignment, conclusion, independent test, module final test) and the final part (mini vocabulary, assessment guide, bibliography). Teachers’ guide consists of: (1) foreword, (2) teacher’s guidelines, (3) teacher’s role in using the module, (4) fifth grade SKL and KI, (5) multiple intelligences mapping, (6) content list, (7) first sub-theme mapping, (8) second sub-theme mapping, (9) third sub-theme mapping, (10) bibliography, (11) module final test, (12) key answers and scoring.

Abstract

This study aims to review the use of learning media to improve science learning outcomes in elementary schools. While the method used in this study is the method of meta-analysis. This research begins by looking for relevant topics to make it easier for writers to collect data. The necessary data can be obtained by searching online journals through Google Academia with the keywords Learning Media, Improving Learning Outcomes, Natural Sciences, Elementary Schools. From the results of the search conducted, it was obtained more than ten articles but only 6 articles were relevant to use. Various kinds of relevant data that have been obtained are reprocessed using quantitative methods. Based on the results of the study of the use of media in learning, it is proven that it can improve student learning outcomes at a minimum of 43% and a maximum of 91%. The use of instructional media greatly influences student learning outcomes in science learning content in elementary schools. In addition to influencing learning outcomes, students also have different new experiences in each learning process using media. This activity can also improve students' ability to understand subject matter easily through the use of media during the learning process.

Abstract

Abstract: This study has a goal, namely to produce learning media in the form of electronic story books with a valid storytelling method according to experts and practical according to students and teachers. In this study using the ADDIE research model. Product validity testing was carried out by material expers, media experts, and teacher as the next user for large group trials to 26 students of class 2 cut meutia SDN Kepanjenlor 2 Blitar City. Based on the validity test by the material expert, the percentage is 93,75 percent, the media expert is 93,75 percent, and the teacher as the user gets the percentage 96,87 percent. All three fall into the very valid category. The practicality of the product provided is 100 percent by the teacher and 97.2 percent by the students, both of which fall into the “very practical” category. Thus, the electronic storybook learning media proved to be very valid and very practical. It is better if the electronic storybook is not only developed on the text of fabels, but on other stories according to the target. Abstrak: Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa buku cerita elektronik dengan metode storytelling yang valid menurut para ahli serta yang praktis menurut peserta didik dan guru. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian ADDIE. Pengujian kevalidan produk dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru sebagai pengguna. Selanjutnya untuk uji coba pada kelompok besar akan diujikan kepada 26 peserta didik kelas 2 cut meutia SDN Kepanjenlor 2 Kota Blitar. Berdasarkan uji kevalidan oleh ahli materi mendapatkan persentase 93,75 persen, ahli media mendapatkan persentase 93,75 persen, dan guru sebagai pengguna mendapatkan persentase 96,87. Ketiganya masuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Sedangkan kepraktisan produk mendapat persentase sebesar 100 persen dari guru dan 97,2 persen dari peserta didik serta keduanya termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran buku cerita elektronik terbukti sangat valid dan sangat praktis. Sebaiknya buku cerita elektronik tidak hanya dikembangkan pada teks dongeng fabel, namun pada cerita lain yang sesuai sasaran.
