Abstract

The diversity of student characteristics requires teachers to be able to manage the class well so that all students do not feel neglected and feel valued for their uniqueness. This activity aims to provide an understanding of elementary school teachers in Blitar City in managing differentiated and multicultural classes, to accommodate student diversity. The method used is a workshop that includes presentation activities and case study analysis attended by 28 elementary school teachers in Blitar City. The evaluations carried out include: reactions, knowledge, impacts, and final results using a Likert scale. The results show that teachers have understood the concept of differentiated learning and multicultural education and showed a high level of satisfaction, although further efforts are needed to deepen the application of strategies in the classroom.

Abstract

Writing skills in Indonesian language lessons are often considered more challenging to master than other language skills. This study aims to develop a procedural text writing model for fourth-grade students based on the Genre Pedagogy approach and supported by Book Creator as a digital learning medium. The research employs a design-based research (DBR) method through stages of analysis, design, development, and evaluation. The instructional model integrates Genre Pedagogy steps—building knowledge, modeling, joint construction, and independent writing—into each learning activity. Book Creator is used to provide interactive content, including images and videos, to enhance student engagement. Results indicate that the developed model effectively supports students in writing procedural texts with clear structure, accurate information, and varied sentence patterns. The integration of digital media also increases student motivation and participation in writing activities. This study concludes that the Genre Pedagogy-based model with Book Creator media can improve writing skills in procedural texts among elementary students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a poem learning media based on Mobile Learning designed for fifth-grade elementary school students. The method employed is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The media was created using Google Sites and accessed via QR codes, containing learning materials, instructional videos, and assessment tools. Validation by content experts, media specialists, and teachers indicated that the media is highly suitable for use in learning. The results of validation from material experts obtained a percentage of 93.75%, the validation of media experts obtained a percentage of 85%, and validation by users obtained an average percentage of 94.3%. The small-scale practicality trial obtained a percentage of 100%, then the large-scale trial obtained a percentage of 98.8% where p = both were included in the "Very Practical" category. Practicality tests on both small and large scales showed excellent results, with high levels of usability and engagement. The media was found to be effective in enhancing students’ interest and understanding of poem material, while also offering an enjoyable and interactive learning experience.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi. Salah satu faktor eksternal yang memengaruhi motivasi belajar mahasiswa adalah lingkungan kampus, baik dari segi fisik maupun sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran lingkungan kampus dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa melalui pendekatan studi literatur. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan sistematis terhadap berbagai jurnal dan artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan antara tahun 2020-2025, dengan menggunakan kata kunci “lingkungan kampus” “motivasi belajar mahasiswa”. Hasil dari studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa kualitas fasilitas akademik, seperti laboratorium, perpustakaan, dan koneksi internet, sangat memengaruhi semangat belajar mahasiswa. Selain itu, aspek lingkungan sosial kampus, termasuk hubungan interpersonal antar mahasiswa, interaksi dengan dosen, dan pelayanan akademik yang diberikan institusi, juga berkontribusi signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar. Lingkungan kampus yang kondusif dan pelayanan yang berkualitas terbukti mampu meningkatkan kenyamanan dan kepuasan mahasiswa, sehingga berdampak positif terhadap motivasi belajar mereka.

Abstract

This research and development was made with the aim of developing picture story media with Articulate Storyline 3-based shortcut quizzes that are valid, interesting, and practical. Valid media based on material experts, media experts, and users (teachers) as well as practical and interesting media for second grade students of SD Negeri 2 Sengon. The model used is the ADDIE model with five stages including: analysis (analyze), design (design), development (develop), implementation (implement), and evaluation (evaluate). Data collection techniques in this research and development use observation, interviews, and questionnaires. This media obtained material expert validation results of 92.85%, media expert validation results of 88.09%, and user validation results of 94.28%, attractiveness results of 98.95%, and practicality results of 98.10%. Based on the results of media validation, it is classified as very valid and can be used without revision, while based on the results of the attractiveness and practicality of the media it is classified as very attractive and very practical and can be used without revision.

Abstract

Students’ enthusiasm during classroom presentations is often a challenge, especially among third-grade elementary students who tend to lack confidence, be passive, and feel shy speaking in front of peers. This condition indicates that the learning process has not fully supported students’ courage and participation. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the window shopping method in improving the enthusiasm of third-grade students during presentations in IPAS learning and to describe its implementation. The study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a descriptive quantitative approach, conducted in two cycles and one pre-cycle. The subjects were 19 third-grade students at SDN Blimbing 2 Malang in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The instruments used were enthusiasm observation sheets and documentation. The findings showed that the window shopping method contributed to increasing students’ enthusiasm, with the average score rising from 62 in the pre-cycle to 74 in cycle I and further to 85 in cycle II. The mastery level also improved from 42% to 84%. In conclusion, the window shopping method fosters an interactive learning atmosphere, enhances speaking confidence, promotes discussion involvement, and stimulates enthusiasm in IPAS learning.

Abstract

Literacy is a fundamental aspect of early childhood development, serving as a foundation for future educational stages. However, challenges in teaching literacy often arise due to unengaging methods that are not aligned with children’s developmental stages. This study aims to explore how the integration of the traditional Indonesian game Engklek can serve as a medium to stimulate literacy among children aged 5–6 years. A qualitative research method with a case study approach was employed, involving participatory observation and in-depth interviews with teachers and children aged 5–6 years. The findings indicate that Engklek increases children’s interest and motivation in learning to recognize letters and words through active and enjoyable experiences. Children more easily recall letter shapes and vocabulary through the physical activities embedded in the game. Additionally, social interaction during the gameplay supports the development of communication skills and self-confidence. This study concludes that the traditional game Engklek can be adapted as an effective method for stimulating early childhood literacy, offering a creative and culturally relevant alternative to conventional learning methods.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui korelasi kompetensi kepala sekolah dengan prestasi sekolah dasar, (2) mengetahui  korelasi kinerja guru dengan prestasi sekolah dasar, dan (3) mengetahui korelasi kompetensi kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru dengan prestasi sekolah dasar se Kecamatan Rejotangan. Penelitian ini mengunakan desain penelitian korelasi yang berbentuk ex-post facto untuk mengumpulkan data yang berasal dari fenomena kehidupan nyata dengan tidak memberikan perlakuan terhadap kondisi tertentu. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik multi stage sampling dengan 2 tahap yakni cluster sampling dan random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 42 responden yang terdiri dari 5 kepala sekolah dan 37 guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data secara nontes berupa angket (kuesioner) dan studi dokumen. Analisis data yang digunkan dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda menggunakan SPSS untuk mengetahui korelasi yang signifikan antara kompetensi kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru dengan prestasi sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1)Terdapat korelasi positif antara kompetensi kepala sekolah dengan prestasi sekolah dasar se Kecamatan Rejotangan, ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi t sebesar 0,012, berarti ada korelasi yang signifikan dari variabel X1 terhadap variabel Y, (2) terdapat korelasi positif antara kinerja guru dengan prestasi sekolah se Kecamatan Rejotangan dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi t sebesar 0,002, berarti ada korelasi yang signifikan dari variabel X2 terhadap variabel Y, (3) terdapat korelasi positif antara kompetensi kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru dengan prestasi sekolah dasar se Kecamatan Rejotangan,  dibuktikan dengan nilai F hitung sebesar 22,963, menunjukkan bahwa variabel X1 dan X2 secara bersama-sama mempengaruhi Y. Adapun saran yang disampaikan oleh peneliti adalah: kepala sekolah diharapkan mampu menerapkan kebijakan-kebijakan yang positif kepada guru dan guru hendaknya meningkatkan profesionalitas dan kinerjanya.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) develop an Augmented Reality-based Educational Game Tool puzzle as a medium for instilling social values in early childhood, and (2) assess the feasibility of the tool through validation by content experts and media experts. This research is a development study of the Educational Game Tool using Thiagarajan's 4-D model. The subjects of this study were 10 students from group B at TK Nurul Islam Jatirejo. Data analysis employed a quantitative descriptive method to determine the media’s feasibility. The development of the APE Puzzle Puzila has passed four stages of the 4-D model, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The results indicate that the Puzzle media is feasible for use by group B at TK Nurul Islam Jatirejo for teaching social values, as evidenced by average validation scores from content experts (4.1), media experts (4.3), teachers (4.2), and an average student trial response score of 1, all falling into the feasible category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji strategi guru dalam menanggulangi perilaku bullying pada anak usia dini melalui kegiatan literasi baca tulis. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi multi-situs berbasis studi kasus, penelitian dilakukan di TK Ngadirejo 01 dan TK Ngadirejo 02 Wonoasri, Madiun. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan analisis dokumen, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan literasi baca tulis yang mengintegrasikan nilai sosial seperti empati dan tolong-menolong dapat meningkatkan kesadaran sosial anak serta menurunkan perilaku bullying. Di TK Ngadirejo 01, 58% anak menunjukkan ketertarikan tinggi terhadap literasi dan penurunan perilaku agresif verbal sebesar 41%, sedangkan di TK Ngadirejo 02 mencapai 73% dan 45%. Tantangan yang dihadapi guru meliputi keterbatasan bahan bacaan serta perlunya peningkatan kompetensi literasi karakter. Guru berperan penting sebagai fasilitator dan model sosial positif. Literasi baca tulis terbukti menjadi strategi efektif dalam pendidikan karakter untuk mencegah bullying dan menumbuhkan perilaku prososial anak usia dini.
