Abstract

Indonesian language learning includes four aspects of language skills, namely listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills and writing skills, writing is a language skill that aims to convey information in writing through graphic symbols that are clear and easy to understand by readers. The purpose of this study is to explain and describe the structure of the biographical text, namely the orientation of important events and reorientation. This description uses a case study approach, which is a method that aims to analyze and understand a phenomenon or problem in depth and comprehensively. This study uses data analysis techniques based on the Miles and Huberman model, namely through the process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Training on the use of communicative language in creative project product packaging is a strategic effort to equip culinary students with competitive entrepreneurial skills. Product packaging not only functions as a protector, but also as an effective communication medium to attract consumer attention and build brand image. Through this training, students are invited to understand the importance of clear, persuasive, and informative language in product packaging. The training methods used include direct practice with the aim of providing students with a deep understanding of the importance of effective communication in packaging creative project products produced by culinary students. This can also improve students' ability to design attractive and communicative packaging. The results of the training showed a significant increase in the skills of using communicative language in product packaging. Keywords: Communicative Language; Product Packaging; Culinary Students   ABSTRAK Pelatihan penggunaan bahasa komunikatif dalam kemasan produk projek kreatif merupakan upaya strategis untuk membekali siswa kuliner dengan keterampilan kewirausahaan yang kompetitif. Kemasan produk tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pelindung, tetapi juga sebagai media komunikasi yang efektif untuk menarik perhatian konsumen dan membangun citra merek. Melalui pelatihan ini, siswa diajak untuk memahami pentingnya bahasa yang jelas, persuasif, dan informatif dalam kemasan produk. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan meliputi praktik langsung dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam kepada siswa tentang pentingnya komunikasi yang efektif dalam mengemas produk projek kreatif yang diproduksi oleh siswa kuliner. Hal ini juga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam merancang kemasan yang menarik dan komunikatif. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keterampilan menggunakan Bahasa komunikatif pada kemasan produk. Kata kunci: Bahasa Komunikatif; Kemasan Produk; Siswa Kuliner

Abstract

Abstract: During the Covid-19 pandemic, lectures at the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program (PBSI), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Sultan Agung Islamic University (Unissula) were held online. Language Error Analysis is one of the courses conducted online. The problems studied include planning, implementing, and evaluating the process and results of online lectures for these courses. The method used in this study is a policy research program evaluation type with a qualitative and descriptive approach with a discrepancy model. Data in the form of scores of all variables were analyzed using the Wilcoxon tiered sign test procedure, with this technique a large difference sign will be obtained indicating that at the online lecture planning stage an average score of 79.9% is obtained with a large difference of 20.1 then there is a gap of 20, 1% with a small category (K). At the stage of implementing online lectures, the average score obtained is 76.4% with a large difference of 23.6, so there is a discrepancy of 23.6% with a small category (K). In the process and results assessment stage, an average score of 80.3% was obtained with a large difference of 19.7, so there was a discrepancy of 19.7% and was classified in the very small category (K). This gap is generally caused by technical factors such as poor internet facilities, limited internet quota, and inadequate online course equipment.  Keywords: online lectures, language error analysis, discrepancy model  Abstrak: Selama pandemi Covid-19 perkuliahan di Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (PBSI), Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP), Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (Unissula) dilaksanakan secara daring. Analisis Kesalahan Berbahasa merupakan salah satu mata kuliah yang dilaksanakan secara daring. Masalah yang diteliti meliputi perencanaa, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian proses dan hasil perkuliahan daring mata kuliah tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kebijakan jenis evaluasi program dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan deskriptif dengan model diskrepansi. Data berupa skor semua variabel dianalisis dengan menggunakan prosedur uji tanda berjenjang wilcoxon, dengan teknik ini akan didapatkan tanda beda besar yang menunjukan bahwa pada tahap perencanaan perkuliahan daring diperoleh rata-rata skor 79,9% dengan besar beda 20,1 maka terjadi kesenjangan sebesar 20,1% dengan kategori kecil (K). Pada tahap pelaksanaan perkuliahan daring rata-rata pemerolehan skor sebesar 76,4% dengan besar beda 23,6 maka terjadi diskrepansi sebesar 23,6% dengan kategori kecil (K). Pada tahap penilaian proses dan hasil diperoleh rata-rata skor sebesar 80,3% dengan besar beda adalah sebesar 19,7 maka terjadi diskrepansi sebesar 19,7% dan tergolong dalam kategori sangat kecil (K). Kesenjangan tersebut secara umum disebabkan karena faktor teknis seperti kurang bagusnya fasilitas internet, terbatasnya kuota internet, dan perangkat perkualiahan daring yang kurang memadai.  Kata kunci: perkuliahan daring, analisis kesalahan berbahasa, model diskrepansi

Abstract

Meaning relations are semantic connections or connections between words, phrases, or concepts that appear in a text. The aim of this research is to describe the types of meaning relaxation in the novel Harga a Confidence by Tere Liye and to integrate it into semantic learning in higher education. This research uses a descriptive method. The data for this research are quotations from sentences in the novel Harga a Confidence by Tere Liye which contain meaning relationships, documentation and interviews. The research procedure uses six steps. The data analysis technique uses six analysis steps. The conclusions of this research are 1) Tere Liye's novel Harga a Confidence found the types of meaning relations of epizeuksis repetition, synonyms, antonyms, equivalence (equivalence of words), and collocations (comparison of words), and 2) forms of integration in semantic learning in higher education can be carried out through 9 steps, namely (1) Identifying the Concept of Meaning Relations, (2) Preparing Learning Modules, (3) Linking it to Semantic Concepts in General, (4) Introduction to Case Studies, (5) Active Learning, (6) Text Analysis Tasks, (7) Reflective Discussion, (8) Presentation of Results, (9) Evaluation.

Abstract

Kodular is a web-based platform that provides a variety of features for creating Android applications. Its function is very similar to MIT App Inventor, with the main purpose of making Android application development easier. The purpose of this research is to develop an online learning application that can be accessed through Android-based smartphone. This application is designed using the Kodular platform and developed through the SDLC method of the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of need, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance. The results of the discussion of this research are the components that make up the screen display of the magic words application: learning to read which includes: 1) start page display, 2) introduction menu page display, 3) main menu page display, 4) introduction menu display, 5) quiz menu display, 6) menu display about the application. The conclusion of this research is that there are 5 stages in making the magic words application: learning to read using a codular website

Abstract

This study was conducted because difficulties to write inspirational story text were found by students in Ninth grade of SMP SMP Plus Maulana Malik Ibrahim. It was caused by less of understanding related to the structure of inspirational story text. This study aimed to explore the improvement of students’ skill in writing inspirational story text in quantum learning using comics. This study was classroom action researchwhich was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle had four stages, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Results of study showed that in pre-treatment, students’ average scores were 53 with classical completion rate of 14,28%. In cycle I, students’ average scores were improved to be 72 with classical completion rate of 66,6%. Moreover, in cycle II, it was improved to be 84 with classical completion rate of 90,4%. It could be concluded that students’ skill in writing inspirational story textwas improved after being taught using comics as media in quantum learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji representasi feminisme dalam film Women from Rote Island dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Film sebagai media visual memiliki peran penting dalam menyampaikan nilai-nilai sosial dan budaya, termasuk isu kesetaraan gender dalam masyarakat patriarkal. Dalam kajian ini, peneliti menganalisis narasi, karakter, dan konflik dalam film melalui lima konsep utama feminisme Simone de Beauvoir, yaitu The Second Sex, dikotomi Self-Other, perempuan tidak dilahirkan tetapi dibentuk, transendensi dan imanensi, serta kritik terhadap mitos perempuan sebagai makhluk pasif. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik simak-catat dan dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa film ini secara kuat merepresentasikan ketertindasan sekaligus perjuangan perempuan dalam menghadapi struktur sosial yang menempatkan mereka sebagai objek. Tokoh-tokoh perempuan dalam film memperlihatkan bentuk perlawanan terhadap sistem yang mengekang, sehingga film ini tidak hanya menyoroti ketimpangan gender, tetapi juga mengangkat suara dan eksistensi perempuan sebagai subjek yang utuh.Keywords: Reprsentasi feminisme, film, simone de beauvoir AbstractThis research aims to examine the representation of feminism in the film Women from Rote Island using a descriptive qualitative approach. Film as a visual medium has an important role in conveying social and cultural values, including the issue of gender equality in a patriarchal society. In this study, researchers analyzed the narrative, characters, and conflicts in the film through five main concepts of Simone de Beauvoir's feminism, namely The Second Sex, Self-Other dichotomy, women are not born but formed, transcendence and immanence, and criticism of the myth of women as passive beings. The data was collected through the listening-recording technique and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the film strongly represents the oppression as well as the struggle of women in facing the social structure that places them as objects. The female characters in the film show a form of resistance to the restrictive system, so that this film not only highlights gender inequality, but also raises the voice and existence of women as full subjects.Kata kunci: Reprsentasi feminism, film, simone de beauvoir

Abstract

The Indonesian Language teacher pedagogical competence strengthening program in Semarang Regency Junior High Schools integrates teaching material innovation in the form of 3D pop-up books with Augmented Reality (AR) technology. The program began with identifying the needs of teachers and students through surveys and interviews, which then served as the basis for developing 3D pop-up books and AR applications in accordance with the national curriculum. Teachers are actively involved through intensive training to master technical and pedagogical aspects so they are ready to implement them in the classroom. The application of this media enriches learning strategies by providing interactive and contextual experiences. Teachers can guide students in understanding the material through 3D visualization and AR interaction, thereby increasing engagement and learning outcomes. Periodic evaluations show the program's effectiveness in strengthening teachers' competencies in utilizing information technology. Additionally, the program designs advanced training and community forums to enhance collaboration and facilitate the sharing of best practices among educators. With a sustainable approach, this program not only improves the quality of Indonesian language learning but also fosters awareness of the importance of integrating digital technology into education. This innovation has the potential to become a widely adopted model for the education community to address the challenges of the digital age.

Abstract

Scratch as a website which could be utilized by beginners to create learning media such as educational game. This study aimed to improve students’ vocabulary at primary school using scratch-based educational game. The method of his study was SDLC waterfall model. Results of this study showed that the design of Alpha Word game was arranged in the stages of requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Alpha Word was a game that was designed to improve students’ vocabulary by utilizing attractive and simple visual.
