Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji struktur “Cerita Tanpa Cerita: Beran, 1949” karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma dari aspek instrinsik dan genetik dari cerpen. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini yakni cerpen “Cerita Tanpa Cerita: Beran, 1949” karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma yang dimuat pada laman kompas pada tanggal 18 Desember 2022. Sementara data sekunder diperoleh dari literatur-literatur yang relevan dengan penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik baca-catat. Analisis data menggunakan teknik dialektik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan struktur intrinsik cerpen yang terdiri dari: a) tema cerpen yaitu sejarah kemanusiaa; b) tokoh utamanya ialah Anak dan Ibu serta beberapa tokoh tambahan; c) alur cerita campuran; d) latar tempat berada di Yogyakarta; dan e) sudut pandang orang ketiga terbatas. Sementara itu, struktur genetic cerpen terdiri dari fakta kemanusiaan, subjek kolektif, hingga pandangan dunia pengarang yang memuat kritik sosialnya terhadap ketidakadilan pada masa kekuasaan pihak-pihak yang dianggap kejam. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan pemahaman yang menyeluruh terhadap isi dari cerita pendek karya Seno Gumira tersebut.

Abstract

Education is an essential need that must be fulfilled throughout life and plays an important role in building the nation's character. In Indonesia, character education is currently a concern of the community, and is a social problem that has not been resolved. This study aims to describe the application of character education at SMK Nasional Mojosari. The methods used include quantitative descriptive, qualitative, and observational. The research population consisted of students in grades 10 and 11 from five majors, with data collection techniques through unstructured interviews, questionnaires, and non-participant observations. The research instrument is tested for the validity of its construction to ensure the reliability of the data. The results of the study show that the implementation of character education—including discipline, responsibility, honesty, care, and cooperation—is going well, supported by the curriculum implemented and the positive views of school principals and teachers on the importance of instilling character values in students.

Abstract

The power of poetry is its ability to arouse reflection in the reader. Poetry has its own characteristics that distinguish it from prose, especially through the use of language. This study aims to analyze the stylistics in the poem Tuhan Harus Mengabdi by Emha Ainun Nadjib. Through a stylistic approach, the analysis is directed at examining diction, imagery, concrete words, figurative language, rhyme and rhythm, theme, feelings, tone, and message. The working method in this study uses a descriptive qualitative method, which focuses on the appreciation of the interaction between concepts that are studied empirically. While the collection technique uses literature studies. The results of the study reveal that the poem Tuhan Harus Mengabdi processes religious-nuanced diction that builds concrete images of spiritual and social relations. The use of figurative language, such as metaphors and personification, becomes a medium for voicing criticism of the hierarchical structure in faith. The flexible rhyme and rhythm patterns blend with emotional intensity, anger and disappointment have been raised through feelings while the theme, tone, and message spark human ethical responsibility. This research is expected to add to the research treasury and become a reference for further research.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in the Media for Teaching Indonesia Language and Literature Course, focusing on the process, benefits, and challenges of PjBL implementation. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive research. The primary data of this research are the results of observations and documentation studies. The data sources for this research include the learning process of the course with practitioners, lesson plans, and student project results. The results of this study indicate that in the project-based learning process, there are three stages, namely 1) project launch, 2) guided inquiry and product creation, and 3) project conclusion. Meanwhile, the benefits of implementing PjBL are (1) practical skills, (2) collaboration and teamwork, (3) creativity and innovation, and (4) problem-solving. Lastly, there are challenges in implementing PjBL: (1) limited time, (2) resources and access to technology, (3) students' technological skills, and (4) subjective evaluation. Abstract

Pengembangan nilai kebersamaan dan literasi pada anak usia dini sangat penting untuk membentuk karakter dan meningkatkan keterampilan literasi anak. Program ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan nilai kebersamaan dan meningkatkan keterampilan literasi anak-anak di RA Al Barkah melalui kegiatan kreatif dan edukatif di Pojok Bahasa. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi langsung dan wawancara dengan pihak sekolah serta perangkat desa. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan minat anak-anak terhadap literasi dan kemampuan mereka dalam bekerja sama. Program ini berhasil memperkenalkan literasi dalam tiga bahasa (Indonesia, Inggris, Arab) dan memperkuat interaksi sosial dan pengelolaan emosi anak-anak. Kolaborasi dengan guru dan staf sekolah memainkan peran penting dalam keberhasilan kegiatan ini.

Abstract

Pernikahan dini masih menjadi fenomena yang signifikan di Indonesia dan diduga memiliki dampak terhadap kemiskinan individu yang menjalaninya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pernikahan dini terhadap status kemiskinan individu Muslim di Indonesia dengan menggunakan data Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) tahun 2007–2014. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi probit untuk mengestimasi probabilitas seseorang yang menikah di usia dini mengalami kemiskinan, dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai variabel kontrol seperti tingkat pendidikan, status pekerjaan, jumlah anggota keluarga, kepemilikan aset, dan lokasi tempat tinggal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pernikahan dini tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap status kemiskinan individu Muslim di Indonesia. Namun, faktor lain seperti tingkat pendidikan, jumlah anggota keluarga, dan kepemilikan aset memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap probabilitas kemiskinan. Individu dengan tingkat pendidikan yang lebih tinggi cenderung memiliki probabilitas kemiskinan yang lebih rendah, sementara jumlah anggota keluarga yang lebih banyak meningkatkan risiko kemiskinan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kebijakan pengentasan kemiskinan sebaiknya difokuskan pada peningkatan akses pendidikan dan pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat, daripada hanya membatasi usia pernikahan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi perumusan kebijakan yang lebih efektif dalam menanggulangi kemiskinan di Indonesia.

Abstract

This service seeks to provide understanding to teachers to improve their competence in preparing literacy AKM-based assessment questions. The stages of this service activity include: delivering material, discussing the material, compiling literacy AKM-based assessment questions, and evaluation. Community service activities are carried out using a workshop type. This service activity uses lecture, discussion and exercise methods. The lecture method is carried out by providing material to teachers regarding the preparation of literacy AKM-based assessment questions. Discussions and exercises are carried out by applying the material provided by the presenter. In the practical training process, teachers are asked to prepare literacy AKM-based assessment questions based on the material that has been presented. The results of service activities in the form of a workshop on making literacy AKM-based assessment questions for teachers at Hasyim Asyari Vocational School, Mojokerto, have had an impact on increasing teacher competency and professionalism, especially in making literacy AKM-based assessment questions.

Abstract

Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan minat anak-anak terhadap literasi dan kemampuan mereka dalam bekerja sama. Program ini berhasil memperkenalkan literasi dalam tiga bahasa (Indonesia, Inggris, Arab) dan memperkuat interaksi sosial dan pengelolaan emosi anak-anak. Kolaborasi dengan guru dan staf sekolah memainkan peran penting dalam keberhasilan kegiatan ini.Kata Kunci: Kebersamaan, Literasi, Anak Usia Dini, Pojok Bahasa, Kegiatan Edukatif.

Abstract

Preservation of oral traditions in an effort to maintain cultural values which are the local wisdom of the community is one of the important issues to be discussed. This is very important in an effort to maintain regional identity and support mental development. Petatah-petitih is an oral tradition in the form of expressions that contain advice, prohibitions, and satire. Expressions are conveyed in informal situations. In official situations, petatah-petitih is spoken in scouting activities for visitors to the Cirebon Kasepuhan Palace. The purpose of this study is to describe the performance. The method used is the ethnographic method. This research approach uses anthropolinguistics which is an interdisciplinary relationship between language and speech behavior (practice). The performance findings are in the form of speaking practice which includes the structure of the petatah-petitih text, the stages of performance of the petatah-petitih, the performer components and the speech function of the petatah-petitih text. The results showed that the performance of petatah-petitih is a performance of advice which consists of persuasive expressions. Persuasive expressions include imperative sentences, invitations, advice and satire.Keywords: culture, oral tradition, performance

Abstract

Song lyrics are often a vehicle for creatively conveying messages and social criticism. The song Peradaban by Feast is one example, where various forms of satire are delivered in a sharp and meaningful style. This study aims to identify and analyze the use of sarcasm in the song. Using qualitative descriptive methods and semantic approaches, the researcher examines the forms of sarcasm and the meaning behind the lyrics used. The results show that the song contains various types of language styles such as sarcasm, hyperbole, irony, and metaphors that convey concerns about injustice, colonialism, and social identity crises. This study shows that song lyrics can be a powerful medium for voicing social criticism in a subtle but still effective manner.
