Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan PBL berbantuan multimedia kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa  mencapai ketuntasan klasikal, kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa meningkat dan lebih baik daripada siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran ekspositori, serta terdapat pengaruh positif antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian quasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Kudus. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster random sampling sehingga terpilih kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi, tes dan wawancara. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas eksperimen telah mencapai ketuntasan klasikal. Rata-rata hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas kontrol. Terdapat korelasi yang positif antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada kelas eksperimen. Rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas kontrol.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle berbantuan alat peraga materi bangun ruang mencapai ketuntasan belajar dan mengetahui bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didikyang mendapatkan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle berbantuan alat peraga lebih baik daripada kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik yang mendapatkan pembelajaran ekspositori berbantuan alat peraga. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Selomerto tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 yang tersebar dalam enam kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Quasi Eksperimen mengacu tipe Posttest-Only Control Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil secara cluster random sampling, terpilih peserta didik kelas VIII E sebagai kelas kontrol mendapatkan pembelajaran ekspositori berbantuan alat peraga dan peserta didik kelas VIII F sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan pembelajaran model Learning Cycle berbantuan alat peraga.Uji ketuntasan belajar menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik kelas eksperimen telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Uji perbedaan rata-rata menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kemampuan komunikasi matematispeserta didik kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik kelas eksperimen telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar dan kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol.

Abstract

The aim of the study reported upon in this paper is to explore the potential of the use of mobile technology for supporting math trail program. An explorative study was conducted in the city of Semarang in Indonesia involving 30 students of SMPN 10 Semarang. The study consisted of an introduction session, a math trail activity supported by the use of mobile phone app, and a debriefing session. Data were gathered by means of participatory observation, students' work, and interviews. Findings indicate that math trail programs supported by the use of mobile phones have promoted the engagement of students in mathematical activities. The use of mobile technology has the potential to support the program. Mobile app has been able to play a role in guiding students in math trail activities with features offered, such as: navigation features, help buttons, and direct feedback.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the influence of Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model of learning with RME approach with the help of Schoology to increase junior high school students’ mathematic literacy and students’ learning output. This research used design true experimental design pretest-posttest control group design. This research used qualitative research method which involved control group and experiment group. The sampling technique used was random sampling. Experiment class was given a treatment in the form of Creative Problem Solving-RME learning. Meanwhile, control group was given a treatment in the form of expository-scientific. The data was collected using mathematic literacy’s ability test, observation, and interview. From the final data of mathematic literacy’s ability test, the researcher analysed and obtained that: (1) the students’ proportion in Creative Problem Solving-RME learning which passed the minimun criteria of mastery learning (KKM) was about 75%; (2) the average of students’ mathematic literacy on Creative Problem Solving- RME learning was better than the average of students’ mathematic litaracy on expository learning. So, we can conclude that Creative Problem Solving-RME learning was effective to improve students’ mathematic literacy.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the development of learning media to improve the Students' Spatial Mathematical Ability assist mobile phones using augmented reality and to determine the effectiveness of learning media assisted by mobile phones using augmented reality in team assisted individualization learning to improve students' mathematical spatial abilities. The development model used in this study is the ADDIE development model. ADDIE development stages are to Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The population of this study was students of 8th grade at MTs Negeri 5 Magelang. The sample was taken from two classes with a random sampling technique from the population of 8th grade at MTs Negeri 5 Magelang. The results are: (1) a learning media has been developed in the form of an android application that uses augmented reality, which is named Bangun Ruang AR as a support for learning mathematics in build flat side space material. After going through the review and evaluation stage by media and material experts, the AR application is suitable to be used as a support for learning mathematics in build flat side space material with an eligibility percentage of 91.5% and included in the very good criteria and (2) The use of application learning media Bangun Ruang AR in Team Assisted Individualization learning effectively to improve students' mathematical spatial abilities, which is aimed at (a) Students' mathematical spatial abilities in team assisted individualization learning with learning media assisted by mobile phone using augmented reality achieve completeness; (b) There is an increase in students' mathematical spatial abilities in team assisted individualization learning with learning media assisted by mobile phone; (c) Students 'mathematical spatial abilities in team assisted individualization learning with learning media assisted by mobile phone are better than students' mathematical spatial abilities in conventional learning.
