Abstract

Teknologi yang semakin canggih dapat menyebabkan anak menjadi kecanduan bermain game online. Salah satu game online tersebut adalah free fire. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak psikologis bagi anak yang bermain game online free fire di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh berasal dari wawancara dan observasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah guru, orang tua, dan anak. Dampak psikologis dalam bermain game online free fire anak usia 8 tahun ditemukan yaitu (1) meningkatkan kemampuan konsentrasi anak; (2) melatih kemampuan pemecahan masalah; (3) emosi tidak stabil; (4) gangguan berpikir yaitu anak hilang konsentrasi dalam belajar karena faktor tidur larut dan anak selalu percaya bahwa bermain game itu menyenangkan; (5) gangguan berperilaku yaitu anak berambisi untuk menang sehingga tidak dianggap lemah dan anak meremehkan orang lain hal ini terjadi karena besar kepala akibat menang. Implikasi selanjutnya dalam penelitian akan dibahas lebih lanjut.

Abstract

The attitude of addiction or addiction to online games is one attitude that will hurt its users. The negative impact of playing online games can be seen in several aspects, such as health, psychological, academic, social, and financial aspects. This study aims to describe the negative impacts of the excessive use of free-fire online games and the teachers' efforts to overcome this addictive attitude. This research uses a case study approach and a type of qualitative research. A case study is research used to explore a particular phenomenon (case) at one time and collect in-depth information with various procedures. Data collection methods are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity in this study uses the triangulation technique, and the data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results of the study show that, in reality, on the ground, playing free-fire online games without excessive control will cause several negative impacts, including: causing addiction, speaking rudely and dirty, neglecting real-world activities, and inability to socialize. Meanwhile, the efforts made by teachers to overcome addiction to online free-fire games are to provide advice and build exemplary communication with parents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran komunitas belajar di SDN 002 Koto Baru Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi dalam mengembangkan kompetensi guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif naratif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan telaah data. Data didapatkan dari narasumber yakni kepsek dan guru di SDN 002 Koto Baru Kuantan Singingi dengan metode wawancara bebas terpimpin. Keabsahan data diuji menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan secara keseluruhan, komunitas belajar di SDN 002 Koto Baru berhasil mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dan profesionalisme guru melalui manajemen konflik yang efektif, penerapan norma-norma yang jelas, dan evaluasi yang teratur dan kolaboratif.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui alasan di balik tantangan membaca dan bagaimana tantangan tersebut berdampak pada pembelajaran siswa kelas dua di SDN 14 Pekanbaru. Metodologi studi kasus digunakan sebagai bagian dari pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan telaah dokumentasi. Orang tua, siswa, dan guru SDN 14 Pekanbaru memberikan informasi. Teknik yang digunakan untuk analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Menurut temuan keseluruhan penelitian, faktor-faktor berikut berkontribusi terhadap kesulitan membaca siswa: kurangnya minat dan keinginan untuk membaca, kurangnya perhatian orang tua, keadaan lingkungan, dan kecerdasan (pemahaman siswa). Adapun dampaknya terhadap proses pembelajaran yaitu, siswa kesulitan dalam memahami materi, hasil tugas siswa (prestasi akademik), dan siswa lambat dalam menyelesaikan tugas dibandingkan siswa yang lancar membaca.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the impact of the 15-minute reading program on the reading culture of fifth-grade students at SDN 023 Pandau Jaya in the Siak Hulu District of Kampar Regency. The methodology employed in this research is a qualitative approach utilizing a case study method. There are two types of data sources: primary and secondary. Primary data is derived from original information collected directly by the researchers through observations, interviews, and documentation involving class teachers and fifth-grade students at SDN 023 Pandau Jaya. Meanwhile, secondary data were obtained from journals, books, supporting documents, and notes relevant to the research. The researchers employed various techniques for data collection, including interviews, observations, and document reviews involving research subjects such as the principal, the VB homeroom teacher, and the VB class students in elementary schools. The data analysis technique used in this study was based on the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicated that the 15-minute reading program had both positive and negative impacts on the reading culture of fifth-grade elementary school students. Positive impacts included the encouragement of a reading culture, while negative impacts included the perception of reading as an obligation rather than a necessity, which led to feelings of pressure among students regarding the 15-minute reading program activities conducted in elementary schools.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan keterampilan interpersonal dengan kecerdasan emosional pada siswa kelas IV SDN 001 Bagan Batu Kota Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasi. Pada penelitian ini, populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV SDN 001 Bagan Batu. Sampel penelitian ini melibatkan 35 siswa kelas IV secara keseluruhan. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik acak sederhana untuk membuat studi ini lebih representatif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel bebas yakni kecerdasan emosional dan variabel terikat adalah keterampilan interpersonal. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar angket keterampilan interpersonal dan kecerdasan emosional. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji korelasi dan uji koefisien determinasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dan keterampilan interpersonal pada siswa kelas IV di SDN 001 Bagan Batu Kota, dengan hasil perhitungan korelasi product moment dilihat dari nilai tingkat signifikansi.

Abstract

Students' cognitive understanding of Civic Education (PKn) subject matter is still relatively low, which is one of the fundamental problems in the learning process in elementary schools. This condition is caused by several factors, such as the lack of active student involvement, monotonous learning methods, and minimal use of interesting and interactive media. The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Baamboozle media on the learning outcomes of Civic Education students in grade IV of SDN 14 Pekanbaru. This study used a Pre-Experimental design with the form of One Group Pretest and Posttest. This study involved a sample of 24 students from grade IV of SDN 14 Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques were collected through multiple-choice test questions analyzed by paired sample t-test and simple linear regression. The results of the paired sample t-test showed an average pretest of 63.08 and a posttest of 80.92. Based on the decision-making criteria for the paired sample t-test, sig. p <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Analysis using a simple linear regression test obtained an R Square value of 0.898 or 89.8%. The Baamboozle-assisted PBL model has proven to be an effective effort to improve civics learning outcomes, especially in elementary schools. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of the PBL learning model that focuses on solving real problems collaboratively with the interactive and interesting Baamboozle educational game media. The implication of this finding is that teachers, especially at the elementary school level, need to consider using more innovative and interactive learning approaches to increase students' cognitive engagement and understanding of abstract and conceptual civics material.

Abstract

Students' low understanding of arithmetic operations is caused by a lack of active participation during the learning process, leading to boredom and suboptimal engagement in lessons. To address this issue, interactive learning media that align with students' cognitive development stages are needed. This study aims to describe the development process, level of validity, and user responses toward the use of ice stick-based media employing the Montessori method for arithmetic operations material in Grade II at SD Islam Plus YLPI Pekanbaru. This is a development study using the ADDIE model, consisting of four stages: Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation. The Evaluation stage was not conducted separately, as it was integrated into the validation and trial processes. The study involved two media expert validators, one Grade II teacher, and six Grade II students. Data were collected using expert validation sheets and teacher and student response questionnaires, which were analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that the media achieved a very high level of validity, with a score of 94.1%. The teacher's response reached 100%, while the students’ response was 98.3%, indicating that the media is easy to use, engaging, and relevant to students’ learning needs. Therefore, the ice stick-based media is considered appropriate to be used as an interactive and enjoyable learning tool.

Abstract

The problem raised in this study is related to the low learning outcomes of students, which is partly caused by the lack of enthusiasm and involvement of students in the learning process. This condition indicates the need for the application of a learning approach that is more interesting and in accordance with the characteristics of students at the elementary school level. This study aims to analyze the effect of using the game-based learning model assisted by the Educandy platform on the learning outcomes of Social Science (IPS) grade IV students at SD Negeri 138 Pekanbaru. The approach used is quantitative with pseudo experimental method with quasi experimental design with purposive sampling technique. The research sample consisted of 35 experimental group students and 33 control group students. Data collection in the study was carried out with multiple choice test questions as many as 22 items and analyzed using an independent sample test with the help of SPSS 25. Based on the results of the independent sample t-test, the average posttest value of the experimental class was 82.23 with a standard deviation of 12.317, while the control class had an average of 75.76 with a standard deviation of 14.013. This shows that the experimental class obtained higher learning outcomes compared to the control class. The significance test shows a p-value of 0.047, which is smaller than α = 0.05 (p < 0.05), so H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. This result is supported by the comparison of the tcount and ttable values, where the tcount of 2.025 is greater than the ttable of 1.668 (tcount > ttable). Thus, it can be concluded that the game-based learning model assisted by the Educandy platform has a significant effect on students' cognitive learning outcomes in social studies subjects.

Abstract

Reading Cards are a learning medium that can be used by teachers to increase students' interest in learning. This study aims to develop and describe the validity of Canva-based reading card learning media on the material I obey the rules. The method used is a 4D model development research. The subjects involved were students, teachers and material, language and design experts to test the validity of the learning media. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The resulting product is a Canva-based reading card on the material I obey the rules for grade II students in elementary school. The validity of the Canva-based reading card was obtained in the very valid category without revision based on the validation results by material experts, language experts and design experts. The results of the study showed that the reading card media was very valid based on the results of the validity test by material experts 99%, language experts 93%, design experts 94% with a very valid category, the percentage of student responses obtained 98% with a very interesting category and the percentage of teacher responses 93% with very interesting criteria.
