Abstract

Permainan lokal merupakan salah satu bagian dari keanekaragaman budaya. Setiap daerah atau suku di Indonesia memiliki permainan rakyat tersendiri yang menunjukkan khas daerah, begitu juga masyarakat Serawai Provinsi Bengkulu. Jika ditelaah lebih jauh, Sebagian besar permainan lokal budaya mengandung sebuah arti dan nilai kehidupan yang berpengaruh untuk perkembangan sosio-emosi anak dikarenakan terkesan menarik dan sesuai bagi anak-anak. Penelitian pengembangan dilakukan untuk menciptakan modul perkembangan karakter sosio-emosi anak yang layak secara isi dan tampilan serta tingkat kegunaannya. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (RD). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 1 Sekolah Dasar 43 Seluma dan 2 orang ahli validasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul permainan lokal budaya Serawai untuk karakter sosio-emosi anak usia dini valid secara isi dan tampilan. Kebermanfaatan dan ketertarikan siswa dalam menggunakan modul permainan lokal budaya Serawai tergolong pada kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the project-based learning process on electrical energy topic in class VI and the improvement of student learning outcomes in science learning on electrical energy topic. This research was conducted on students of class VI with a total of 29 students consisting of 13 males and 16 females. There were three times of data collection in this study which included Pre-Cycle, Cycle 1, and Cycle 2. The results showed that the active involvement of students in learning activities could increase their understanding of the subject matter being taught. In addition, project-based learning by making series and parallel circuits in the implementation of making traffic lights makes students more enthusiastic and active in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah dengan mengunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada Tema 1 Indahnya Kebersamaan di kelas IV SD 032/III Pasar Semurup Tahun Pembelajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 21 siswa, terdiri dari 12 siswa laki-laki dan 9 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada tema Indahnya Kebersamaan di kelas IV SD 032/III Pasar Semurup. Pada siklus II hasil observasi guru meningkat menjadi 90% (baik sekali) dan hasil observasi terhadap kegiatan siswa juga meningkat menjadi 80 (baik sekali). Dengan demikian diperoleh simpulan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning terjadi peningkatan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada tema Indahnya Kebersamaan di kelas SD 032/III Pasar Semurup Tahun Pembelajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

Parenting the Minangkabau tribe's children often involved conflicts with prolonged peers; egoism is still high; they are accustomed to discriminating against friends; and their lack of respect for friends indicates that they have low-quality interpersonal communication. Technological developments that should be avoided negatively influence the relationship between social interaction and the quality of the transmission of the alpha generation. Even though the children who have a Minangkabau ethnic background have been taught good manners, both in speaking and in acting, through the teaching of "Kato Nan Ampek," Therefore, the purpose of conducting research was to analyze parental care toward children in interpersonal communication in terms of Minangkabau culture. The research analysis uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. The results of the study show that the parenting style in Minangkabau that teaches children good manners towards older people, the same person, younger people, and people who are visited has not been implemented. Minangkabau children have started to apply a way of speaking that shows language impoliteness. Minangkabau ethnic generation based on local wisdom in elementary schools. The results of the research show that there is a new theory, "Parenting of Kato nan Ampek" as a local wisdom developed in Minangkabau that has been able to form politeness in children's language since. Kato nan Ampek's parenting theory teaches that politeness can be applied in a local wisdom-based learning process that applies local cultural values in elementary schools. It is suggested that teachers can apply Kato nan Ampek's Parenting theory to teach and familiarize language politeness for elementary school children, especially teachers in West Sumatra.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi permasalahan karakter siswa kelas V SDN 14 Selayo yang tidak bercirikan karakter (moral dan kinerja) sehingga menjurus menjadi individu-individu yang egosentris dan Individualis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima langkah yaitu: 1) analisis, 2) perancangan, 3) pengembangan, 4) penerapan, dan 5) evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terhadap lembar validasi ahli materi mendapat skor 81% (sangat baik) dan ahli media 75% (baik). Berdasarkan hasil angket respon guru skor rata-rata yang diperoleh yaitu 70% (baik) artinya produk telah dinilai layak. Hasil uji coba bahan ajar kepada 20 Siswa kelas V SD Negeri 14 Selayo menunjukan respon positif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil analisis angket respon siswa sebesar 100% dan persentase ketuntasan belajar meningkat dari 45% menjadi 90% mencapai ketuntasan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar PKn berbasis pendidikan abad 21 efektif dalam meningkatkan karakter siswa kelas IV SD.

Abstract

Mitra pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah Guru Taman Kanak-Kanak di Kota Padang dan Mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Permasalahan pada saat ini adalah pemerintah mengharapkan para peserta didik mencapai berbagai kompetensi dengan penerapan HOTS atau Keterampilan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah memberikan penyuluhan kepadamahasiswa dan guru-guru Taman kanak-kanak tentang pentingnya pembelajaran berbasi HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills) pada abad ke-21 untuk diterapkan di sekolah. Kegiatan ini diberikan kepada guru dan mahasiswa sebanyak 52 orang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada hari Senin tanggal 5 Juni 2023. Target luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah berita di media massa dan video kegiatan yang di upload di youtube. Pembelajaran yang diterapkan pada kurikulum 2013 edisi revisi menuntut siswa untuk dapat cakap berpikir tingkat tinggi (High Order Thingking). Sistem pembelajaran dirancang sesuai dengan tuntutan abad ke-21 menekankan bahwa kompetensi pada abad ke-21 berbasis pada 4C meliputi Berpikir Kritis (critical thingking), kerjasama (collaboration), komunikasi (communication), dan kreativitas (creativity).

Abstract

Kurikulum merdeka belajar sudah dilaksanakan di berbagai unit satuan pendidikan di Indonesia mulai dariSD sampai SMA. Fakta di lapangan menyatakan bahwa belum semua pemangku kepentingan memahami tentang implementasi kurikulum merdeka belajar. Oleh karena itu tim pengabdian Jurusan PendidikanGuru Sekolah Dasar Universitas Negeri Padang telah melakukan pengabdian masyarakat di Sanggarkegiatan Belajar (SKB) II Sungai Tarab Kabupaten Tanah Datar, dimana pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan kurikulum merdeka belajar bagi guru- guru kesetaraan. Pengabdian ini mendapat respon yang baik dan diapresiasi oleh Kepala SKB II Sungai Tarab. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengabdian ini adalah sebesar 60 % peserta menyatakan sangat puas dan 30 % peserta meyatakan puas dengan adanya pengabdian ini. Diharapkan melalui kegiatan ini terjalin kerja sama antara pihak universitas dengan pihak SKB untuk mengembangkan kualitas guru demi terciptanya pendidikan yang berkualitas.

Abstract

Cognitive development has an important role in early childhood development, especially for numeracy skills which are a prerequisite for entering elementary school (SD). This research aims to improve the cognitive abilities of preschool children (5-6 years) at PAUD Al Rizky through the media of picture number cards. The method used was classroom action research (PTK) with two cycles, involving 15 children. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed a significant increase in the ability to recognize numbers 1-20, number concepts, addition and subtraction. In the first cycle, the percentage of children who were able to recognize numbers 1-20 was 86.6%, number concepts 80%, addition 73.3%, and subtraction 66.6%. In the second cycle, the percentages increased to 100% for numbers, 93.3% for number concepts, 86.6% for addition, and 86.6% for subtraction. The conclusion of this research is that the use of picture number card media is effective in improving the cognitive abilities of young children. It is recommended that teachers use a variety of learning strategies and media to make learning activities fun, and parents are expected to support their children's learning at home.

Abstract

Number board games are one of many game devices that can be used as an intermediary to improve children's mental activity at an early age or what is usually called cognitive ability. It is known that the learning model that is widely used in Early Childhood Education is the play while learning model. However, researchers found that the type of learning model applied by teachers at the Dharma Wanita Semen Kindergarten was still monotonous, so it had an impact on the development of cognitive abilities in group-A children, especially in terms of introducing the concept of numbers and the symbols for numbers 1 (one) to 10 (ten). Based on this, the researcher tried to develop cognitive abilities in group-A children in recognizing the concept of numbers and the symbols for numbers 1 (one) to 10 (ten) by using more varied media, namely the number board game. This research method is Classroom Action Research (PTK) using the John Elliot (1991) model which consists of 4 stages, including observation, planning, action and reflection. In this research, the implementation of the cycle was carried out in two cycles by repeating the same 4 stages in each cycle. In cycle 1 it was discovered that the percentage of success was still 68.5%, then the research continued in cycle 2 which showed a significant increase with a success percentage of 88.9%. The research results obtained show that the use of game devices with number boards can improve the cognitive abilities of group-A children at the Dharma Wanita Semen Kindergarten in recognizing the concept of numbers and symbols for numbers 1 (one) to 10 (ten).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the use of finger painting to increase the creative abilities of children aged 5 to 6 years. This research uses the Kemmis and McTaggart paradigm in conducting classroom action research (PTK). The research participants were 16 children from Group B of YASPI Tampubolon Kindergarten, consisting of equal numbers of boys and girls (8 boys and 8 girls). The data collection method used is direct observation using special tools in the form of observation sheets and interview sheets. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative descriptive methods, with success criteria set at an average creative percentage ?80% for children in Group B. Research findings showed a significant increase in children's creativity after their participation in finger painting activities as intervention. This activity gives young people the autonomy to produce works of art based on their own concepts and choose colors based on their preferences. The increase in creative power can be seen from the pre-action data which shows a percentage of 48.66%. The percentage of originality increased to 64.95% in Cycle I, and then increased to 87.05% in Cycle II. This research is considered effective because it has reached the predetermined threshold of percentage of creative power.
