Abstract

This study aims to provide a systematic review of teachers' perceptions regarding the implementation of the school zoning system in Indonesia. The zoning system is a policy designed to allocate students to schools based on their geographical location, with the goal of creating educational equity and reducing access gaps. This abstract reviews various findings from studies focusing on teachers' views on this policy. The method used in this research is a systematic literature review, screening articles from relevant journals and publications related to the topic. The results of the analysis reveal that teachers' perceptions of the zoning system are mixed. Some teachers support the policy as a positive step toward educational equity, while others express concerns about inadequate implementation, administrative issues, and its impact on educational quality. Several studies also suggest that the success of the zoning system depends on policy support, teacher training, and adequate infrastructure at the school level. These findings can serve as a reference for policymakers in designing more effective and inclusive educational policies and provide deeper insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by educators in implementing the school zoning system.

Abstract

This research analyzes the role of interpersonal communication and performance dialogue on team performance. In an organizational context, effective interpersonal communication plays an important role to enhance cooperation, collaboration, and problem-solving among team members, which in turn affects overall team performance. Weak communication can lead to misunderstandings, hinder collaboration, and reduce team effectiveness. Performance dialog, which involves structured discussions between leaders and team members, also plays an important role in monitoring and improving team performance. Research shows that regularly conducted performance dialogues can clarify goals, improve coordination, and strengthen relationships between team members. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach, reviewing various journals related to interpersonal communication, performance dialog, and team performance. The results show that both, effective interpersonal communication and structured performance dialogue, strongly positively influence team performance. Therefore, organizations need to develop communication skills and support performance dialogue as part of a more effective team management strategy.

Abstract

Choosing the right school early on is very important because it will form the foundation of a child's education and experience that can affect their learning process throughout life. Parents tend to consider various factors before deciding on the right school for their child. This study aims to determine and analyze the factors that influence parents' interest in choosing a private elementary school. The method used in this study is a literature review. The analysis of the discussion shows that parents' interest in choosing a private elementary school is based on various factors, both subjective (such as recommendations and image) and objective (such as facilities and costs). These factors contribute together and influence each other in shaping parents' interest in choosing a particular school. Therefore, private schools need to consider these factors to increase the attractiveness and interest of parents in their institutions.

Abstract

This research wants to see what kind of egalitarian leadership style in educational institutions influences innovative behavior in its employees. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (Slr). Meanwhile, analyzing journal articles then looks for journals that match inclusion and exclusion. The results of this research explain that the leader's egalitarian leadership style is easy to contact and meet, support from the work social environment is very important for the leader's effectiveness, the leader's effectiveness must go down directly to the bottom, and the leader provides rewards and punishment directly and this can form innovative behavior in employee.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze school leadership strategies in improving the quality of education at Al-Azhar Islamic High School BSD South Tangerang and Al-Azhar Islamic High School Cileungsi. Using a qualitative approach and multi-case study method, this research identifies the strategic steps of school principals in improving the quality of education. The research results show that transformational and collaborative leadership play an important role in the success of improving the quality of education. The strategies implemented include developing teacher competency, using technology in learning, and strengthening school culture. This study provides practical insights for educational leaders in managing schools effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the educational aspirations of parents in Asmat Regency, South Papua, with respect to their support for their children's education, while considering the challenges posed by the nomadic lifestyle and complex geographical conditions. The research employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to analyze various literature concerning the relationship between parental aspirations and their efforts to enhance children's educational participation and achievement. The findings reveal that high parental educational aspirations significantly boost children's motivation to learn, their involvement in education, and academic performance. However, these aspirations are often hindered by external factors such as economic limitations, the influence of local cultural values, and inadequate educational infrastructure. The nomadic lifestyle and low literacy levels of parents further complicate the continuity of children's education. This study offers a unique perspective by focusing on the Asmat indigenous community, unlike previous studies that mostly focused on urban areas or regions with better educational access. The study recommends the development of inclusive educational policies, the implementation of literacy programs for parents, and improvements in infrastructure and community-based learning innovations to address educational barriers in Asmat. This research makes a valuable contribution to educational literature in remote areas and can serve as a foundation for creating more effective policies tailored to the needs of the local community.

Abstract

The problem of declining teacher performance is still a problem in today's education world. The imbalance between work-life balance and work stress makes teacher performance decline. Work-life balance and work stress are components that greatly influence teacher performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work-life balance on teacher performance, to determine the effect of work stress on teacher performance, and to determine the relationship between work-life balance and work stress in influencing the performance of MTs Negeri teachers in West Jakarta. The research method used in this study is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR), to obtain and review scientific literature on the effect of work-life balance and work stress on teacher performance. The results of the study showed that work-life balance has a significant effect on teacher performance, where teachers who are able to balance their personal lives and work show better performance. In addition, work stress has a positive or negative effect on teacher performance, depending on the intensity of the stress experienced. Work-life balance and work stress are interrelated in influencing teacher performance. When work-life balance is achieved, work stress can be managed better, and teacher performance will increase. The results of this study are very important in order to determine the effect of work-life balance and work stress on teacher performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas program  Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) yang dilaksanakan di SDN Rorotan 05 Jakarta Utara.Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian evaluative dengan menggunakan model CIPP (context, input, procces, product) yang dikembangkan oleh Stuffebeam.Sehingga efektivitas program GLS ditinjau dari konteks, masukan, proses dan hasilnya. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, studi dokumen, observasi serta angket. Hasil penelitian tingkat ketercapaian program GLS disekolah tersebut sebesar 90,01% yang berada pada kategori A. Hal tersebut bermakna bahwa siswa telah melaksanakan program GLS dengan sangat baik yang sesuai dengan rencana dan harapan guru-guru. Rekomendasi untuk pemerintah sebaiknya memperbaiki regulasi pemerataan program GLS dan pihak sekolah supaya dapat mempertahankan serta meningkatkan program GLS di sekolah tersebut.

Abstract

Abstract: Self-evaluation plays a strategic role in academic supervision, particularly in fostering improvements in learning quality. In the context of private elementary madrasahs in Karawang Regency, teachers' ability to conduct self-evaluation serves as a vital foundation for developing instructional innovations. This study aims to explore how academic supervision is implemented through teacher self-evaluation as a means to encourage innovation in teaching practices. The concept of innovation in this research refers specifically to teachers’ readiness to reflect on their instructional methods and the extent to which such reflections are applied to enhance the learning process. A qualitative approach was employed using purposive sampling, as participants were selected based on specific characteristics aligned with the study's objectives. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis. The study was conducted between April and September 2024, involving teachers from the Klari District, Karawang Regency. The findings indicate that self-evaluation has a positive impact on the development of learning innovations. This is evident in the implementation of collaborative strategies, the creative integration of digital media, and the refinement of assessment techniques. The reflective process enables teachers to identify both their strengths and areas for improvement, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of classroom learning quality.Abstrak: Evaluasi diri memiliki peran strategis dalam supervisi akademik, terutama dalam mendorong peningkatan mutu pembelajaran. Di lingkungan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Kabupaten Karawang, kemampuan guru dalam melakukan evaluasi diri menjadi landasan penting dalam menciptakan inovasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap pelaksanaan supervisi akademik melalui evaluasi diri guru sebagai upaya untuk mendorong pembaruan dalam praktik mengajar. Inovasi yang dimaksud dibatasi pada kesiapan guru dalam merefleksikan praktik pembelajaran serta bagaimana refleksi tersebut diterapkan untuk memperbaiki proses mengajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling, mengingat karakteristik subjek harus sesuai dengan tujuan studi. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan telaah dokumen. Penelitian dilakukan pada April hingga September 2024 dengan partisipan guru-guru dari Kecamatan Klari, Kabupaten Karawang. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi diri berkontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan inovasi pembelajaran, yang tampak melalui penerapan strategi kolaboratif, pemanfaatan media digital secara kreatif, serta peningkatan metode asesmen yang beragam. Proses refleksi yang mendalam membantu guru mengenali kekuatan dan area yang perlu ditingkatkan, sehingga berdampak pada perbaikan kualitas proses pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain factual information regarding the implementation of the policy of merging public elementary schools in the South Jakarta region which consists of SDN Rawajati 03, SDN Pondok Pinang 10, and SDN Pejaten Timur 11. The method used in this study is evaluative with data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Subjects in the study are the Principal, Teachers, and School Operators. The research findings show that the school incorporation policy is very precisely implemented which is seen from three perspectives of school managers who are research subjects. Based on the principal's perspective, it is known that the school incorporation policy has an impact on school management that is more effective and efficient so that education can run smoothly. The school incorporation policy also makes teachers work together and discuss related learning strategies so that students become more effective in learning and teaching activities. Different results were found from the perspective of school operators, namely the implementation of the school merger policy resulting in the increasing workload of school operators.
