Abstract

One of the study programs at the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) UIN North Sumatra Medan is the Information Systems Study Program. During the Introduction to Academic and Student Culture (PBAK) or what is usually called the orientation period, the introduction of the campus environment in the form of facilities, buildings and rooms is not very clear because it only uses video either during live or online introductions like the current pandemic, so new students do not can find out in detail. Augmented Reality (AR) applications can be a solution to make recognition clearer than video. The method in the AR application used is Markerless Augmented Reality (User Defined Target). This application was built using the C# programming language and the Rapid Application Development development method. The purpose of research and making this application is to make it easier for users (new students) to get information about the campus environment. Users can easily view the existing facilities in the Information Systems Study Program, the layout of the IV UINSU Medan campus building and the FST UINSU Medan room plan directly from their smartphone anywhere and anytime without having to ask the officers around the campus. The information presented in this application is good, easy and smooth to use and testing gets good results.

Abstract

Health services at traditional medicine clinics have problems, namely the absence of an online treatment schedule ordering system that makes customers have to take treatment and customers must directly register at the clinic for treatment and often queue for a long time to get the desired treatment. This research aims to design and build a traditional medicine application on a web-based startup Medis Reborn. The system development method used is the waterfall method. The result of the research is the creation of a traditional medicine application, which is an online platform that connects traditional medicine clinics with customers in one place using a website so that customers can order traditional medicine schedules online. This online ordering system provides treatment scheduling as well as a choice of information on the location of the nearest clinic.

Abstract

However use the system still not enough effective because a lot obstacles, such as lack of understanding government Village in use of computers, limited computers in the village, and lack of interest government Village for use the service system letter Web-based. The process used for system evaluation that is observation and literacy, formulation problems, evaluation, data collection, data analysis, conclusions and suggestions. Method used that is method Scale usability system.So expected with existence evaluation the use of information systems service letter in village Siundol Jae will more efficient. So that government Village will more easy in serve needs letter correspondence in the village Siundol Jae dan Public also will more satisfied to service the letter that was given government Village.

Abstract

The community service system that is currently running in Siundol Jae village is still done manually, so that village services to the community are less effective and the community is also dissatisfied with village services. With the construction of a web-based community service management information system, it can make it easier for village officials to serve the community. The steps taken to design the system are data collection methods consisting of interviews, observations and literature studies. While the system development uses the waterfall method. From the results of this study, village officials can more easily provide services to the community and the community also does not have to wait long to get the letters they need.

Abstract

Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) Lubuk Barumun District is a government agency that carries out some of the duties of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion in the district in the field of Islamic religious affairs at the sub-district level. KUA Lubuk Barumun District can provide services in serving the community that will carry out marriage and reconciliation. The marriage administration and reconciliation process that is carried out is about submitting the marriage requirements file and filing the reconciliation requirements file. Based on field observations, the submission of the marriage and reconciliation requirements file is still done manually. At this time, the submission of the marriage and reconciliation requirements file still has to go to the KUA office first and then give the file to the Lubuk Barumun District KUA officer. This has resulted in registrants who live quite far from the KUA office in the Lubuk Barumun sub-district having difficulties because they have to pay extra for land transportation every time they visit the KUA office. Not only that, documents can accumulate so that the search for files, takes quite a long time. Based on these problems, an Android-based marriage administration information system was built to overcome them. Through this built system, the registrant submits the requirements file online and then the KUA Admin performs the verification stage after the file has passed the examination. so that it can make it easier for all parties from the prospective bride and groom to reconcile, the head of the KUA receives reports and computerized data collection media. The system development method used in this research is Rapid Application Development (RAD). With this android-based administrative information system, it can make it easier for KUA to produce information on the filing of marriage requirements and reconciliation in a more organized manner. Submission of information on registration and filing of marriage documents and referrals that are fast, precise, and accurate.

Abstract

Kemajuan  teknologi  dan  informasi  saat ini  telah  memberikan  perubahan  besar  dalam tatanan  hidup  masyarakat.  Kini  perkembangan teknologi   telah   menjadi   indikator   kemajuan suatu negara. Kuatnya arus globalisasi mendorong kemajuan teknologi, informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) yang kemudian membawa dan memaksa perubahan tata kelola bagi berbagai sektor, mulai dari bisnis hingga pemerintahan. Smart village adalah konsep pembangunan desa yang memberikan edukasi atau informasi masalah desa dengan memanfaatkan teknologi untuk memberikan layanan dan kemudahan akses informasi kepada warga desa. Kebanyakan pembangunan smart village yang dilakukan di Indonesia belum berdasarkan identifikasi kebutuhan dari desa itu sendiri, tetapi mengikuti kegiatan yang telah dilakukan oleh desa lain. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk dapat memberdayakan masyarakat di Desa Suka Meriah Siosar dengan konsep Smart Village dengan menggunakan metode Community Based Participatory Action Research (CBPAR). Dengan melibatkan masyarakat sebagai mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini, maka kegiatan dapat berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dari masyarakat di Desa Suka Meriah Siosar.

Abstract

This service in this paper was carried out in Klumpang Kampung Village, namely in Dusun V. This silver expanse district has many flat areas that are used as agricultural land by the local community. Many people here are farmers in an effort to earn an income. The targets for the participants of this service activity are farmer families with the profile: are small farmers, have a farming business on flat dry land, have no other job besides farming, live in the village where the activity is located, have strong motivation and intentions as well as the ability to improve agricultural productivity, and of course willing to be fostered and willing to follow and implement all programs consistently and responsibly. The beginning of the service activity was preceded by students seeing and paying attention to the mushroom cultivation process which the community explained in detail from beginning to end. One example is assisting in the manufacture of organic fertilizers and oyster mushroom cultivation in wood and polybag fermentation systems, as well as marketing management in an effort to assist farmers in developing income-generating profits from farming. The purpose of this community service is to increase family income in mushroom cultivation business by maximizing marketing in the market. The results of this community service show that the marketing statefi carried out can be said to be successful by looking at the results of demand in the market and the amount of income generated. The implementation of the marketing strategy carried out produces 15-20 kg of oyster mushrooms in a day, with an income profit of ± Rp. 300,000-400,000 per day after implementing the marketing strategy.

Abstract

Budaya merupakan cara hidup yang berkembang, dimiliki bersama oleh sekelompok orang atau masyarakat, dan diturunkan dari generasi ke generasi. Indonesia memiliki 34 provinsi kebudayaan yang berbeda-beda. Linear Congruent Method merupakan jenis PRNG yang manfaatkan luas dalam aplikasi komputasi modern. Pada penelitian ini akan diimplementasikan algoritma LCM dalam membuat sebuah aplikasi tebak budaya Indonesia. Sehingga aplikasi dapat menjadi lebih interaktif dibandingkan dengan menampilkan tebakan yang selalu tampil dalam urutan yang selalu sama. Populasi yang dimiliki adalah dan 768 siswa SMP, dan margin of error yang ditentukan adalah sebesar 10%, maka didapatkan sampel sebanyak 89 siswa SMP.

Abstract

In improving the quality of education in tertiary institutions, one of the efforts made to make it happen is to place qualified and professional educators or lecturers at these universities. A lecturer must have the ability to carry out the tridharma of higher education. A lecturer must also be able to follow the development of science and always be able to develop himself and have good teaching skills according to his field of knowledge, from planning, implementation to evaluation of learning. To predict the performance of lecturers using the Backpropagation Neural Networks algorithm. The design of the application to predict the performance of lecturers with the Backpropagation Neural Networks algorithm is done by determining the number of units for each layer. After the network is formed, training is carried out from the patterned data. Tests were carried out using Matlab software with several forms of network architecture. The architecture with the best configuration consists of 24 input layers, 20 hidden layers and 5 output layers. The results obtained from the test are predictions of lecturer performance which consist of Very Poor, Less, Enough, Good, Very Good. This assessment serves to evaluate the performance of lecturers in each semester at higher education institutions. with a test accuracy of 95%.

Abstract

Community organization is a group formed by the community voluntarily based on the common aspirations, needs, and goals to be achieved. This community organization is not just built, but must have a clear permit. Many community organizations are formed in every region, not least in the province of North Sumatra. The agency that oversees all these organizations is the National and Political Unity Agency (BKBP) of North Sumatra Province. However, there is a current problem that is experienced, namely the absence of a forum that directly connects BKBP with existing community organizations, making it difficult for BKBP to monitor, know the location of the organization, and also make it difficult for the organization in terms of registering community organization permits because it still has to be done manually with bring all the files to the BKBP office. For this reason, this research will overcome these problems by utilizing technology through the development of a monitoring information system for community organizations, where this system can be used for registration of permits for community organizations, viewing activity reports, monitoring organizational activities, and reporting organizations that are troubling the community. This system is web-based using the PHP programming language and the Laravel framework.
