Abstract

Geography learning teaches students to be able to think critically. Critical thinking is one of the thinking skills that students must have in 21st-century learning. However, the critical thinking skills of high school students in Indonesia are proven to be lacking. The study aimed to determine the effect of the Group Investigation (GI) model assisted by interactive media Lectora Inspire on high school students' geography critical thinking skills. The research design used a quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control group design. The location of the research was carried out at the Laboratory Senior High School Universitas Negeri Malang. The research subjects were XI IPS 3 students as the experimental group and XI IPS 1 as the control group. Data on students' critical thinking skills were obtained from six essay test questions arranged according to indicators of critical thinking skills. Data analysis techniques for critical thinking skills using the Mann-Whitney test show that the GI model assisted by interactive media Lector Inspire affects high school students' critical thinking skills. Comparison of the post-test scores of the experimental group is much better than the control group. The steps of the GI model and interactive media Lectora Inspire during learning to make students productive in critical thinking.

Abstract

OPTIMIZATION OF VARIETY AND BRANDING OF TOFU INDUSTRY PRODUCTS IN BALEN DISTRICT, BOJONEGORO REGENCYThe important thing that can be learned from the 1997 economic crisis that hit Indonesia is that small industries have the ability to survive. Small industries are also a manifestation of the Ekonomi Kerakyatan. The advantages possessed by this small industry encourage policies that can strengthen it. The ability of small industrial players to compete in this era. Efforts for the development of small industries are needed. The problem that often occurs is that they have less knowledge of business development strategies. One of the industries that many people are involved in, especially in Kabunan Village, is the tofu industry. The tofu industry in this village still has a limited number of variations and does not yet have a brand. The implementation method carried out in this service is the preparation made to analyse the situation and needs, implementation, and evaluation of the program. This activity was carried out well. This can be seen from the results of the questionnaire answer that 95 percent of the participants were happy with this socialization, 90 percent were satisfied with the material presented, and 90 percent stated that the material presented was interesting.Hal penting yang dapat dipetik dari krisis ekonomi 1997 yang menghampiri Indonesia adalah bahwa industri kecil memiliki kemampuan bertahan. Industri kecil juga merupakan wujud dari ekonomi kerakyatan. Keunggulan-keunggulan yang dimiliki oleh industri kecil ini mendorong adanya kebijakan yang dapat menguatkannya. Kemampuan pelaku industri kecil dalam bersaing di era seperti saat ini sangat penting untuk dimiliki. Upaya-upaya untuk pengembangan industri kecil sangat diperlukan. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi adalah pelaku industri kecil memiliki pengetahuan yang kurang akan strategi-strategi untuk mengembangkan usaha mereka. salah satu industri yang banyak digeluti masyarakat di Desa Kabunan adalah industri tahu. Industri tahu yang ada di desa ini masih memiliki jumlah variasi yang terbatas dan belum memliki nama dagang. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang variasi produk tahu, dan memperluas wawasan tentang branding produk. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini adalah persiapan yang dilakukan untuk menganalisis situasi dan kebutuhan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi program. Kegiatan ini berjalan dengan baik sebagaimana ditunjukkan pada angket bahwa 95 persen peserta merasa senang dengan adanya kegiatan sosialisasi ini, 90 persen peserta puas dengan materi yang disampaikan, dan 90 persen peserta menyatakan materi yang disampaikan menarik.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran geografi menghasilkan siswa yang mampu berpikir spasial, sehingga dapat memahami lingkungan dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui media Google Earth dengan Problem Based Learning berpengaruh  terhadap kemampuan berpikir spasial siswa SMA. Jenis penelitian yaitu eksperimen semu dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas XA dan XB SMA 1 Selong, Kabupaten Lombok Timur, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan tes dengan instrumen berupa soal kemampuan berpikir spasial. Analisis data menggunakan uji T berbantuan SPSS 24. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Google Earth dengan Problem Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir spasial siswa. Permasalahan spasial yang disajikan dalam media menggambarkan fenomena secara nyata, sehingga siswa dapat memahami materi dengan baik. Media Google Earth dengan Problem Based Learning mengarahkan siswa untuk memecahkan permasalahan spasial dan melatih siswa kreatif menemukan solusi dari fenomena geosfer, sehingga kemampuan berpikir spasial meningkat. Abstract:  Geography learning produces students who are able to think spatially, so they can understand the environment well. This study aims to determine the Google Earth media with Problem Based Learning affects the spatial thinking ability of high school students. The type of research is a pseudo-experiment with research subjects of XA and XB high school students of SMA 1 Selong, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. The data collection technique used tests with instruments in the form of spatial thinking skills questions. The results of this study concluded that the use of Google Earth media with Problem Based Learning had an effect on students' spatial thinking skills. Spatial problems presented in the media describe real phenomena, so students can understand the material well. Google Earth media with Problem Based Learning directs students to solve spatial problems and trains students to creatively find solutions to geospheric phenomena, so that spatial thinking skills increase.

Abstract

Abstrak Desa Sukorejo merupakan desa yang berada di Kecamatan Gondanglegi. Desa ini memiliki lanskap yang datar. Desa memiliki dokumen berupa dokumen tanah salah satunya yang berbentuk 2 dimensi. Tentunya dokumen tersebut dapat di digitalkan dengan berbagai cara salah satunya dengan menggunakan bantuan perangkat lunak. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini yaitu untuk melakukan pendigitalan dokumen tanah Desa Sukorejo Kecamatan Gedangan. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini dengan melihat dokumen tanah yang ada di desa, selanjutnya di digitalisasi, dan di jadikan bentuk Webgis. Hasil yang di dapatkan yaitu dokumen yang ada di Desa Sukorejo memiliki 14 area blok persil tanah di Desa Sukorejo yang terbagi dalam 25 lembar peta dengan skala 1:1000. Peta persil tanah yang ada di Desa Sukorejo berbentuk analog/cetak dengan ukuran kertas A3. Sedangkan Kegiatan pemetaan batas administrasi dilakukan dengan teknik digitation on screen untuk menentukan batas berdasarkan citra foto udara. Selanjutnya area blok tersebut dilakukan pendigitalan dengan menggunakan ArcGis. Hasil yang didaptkan berupa vector yang nantinya dihubungkan untuk membuat peta digital tanah berbasis WebGis. Sistem Informasi ini disusun untuk membantu pelayanan administrasi pertanahan di desa agar lebih mudah, cepat dan efisien. Memiliki fitur pencarian bidang tanah berdasarkan nomor objek pajak. Menunjukan lokasi spasial, letak blok tanah sesuai SPPT PBB, dan letak blok tanah sesuai letter C sehingga mempermudah pelayanan administrasi permohonan kutipan letter C.

Abstract

Abstrak Desa Wonorejo merupakan desa yang berada di Kecamatan Singosari. Pada wilayah desa ini terdapat area hutan produksi. Hutan tersebut merupakan hutan milik pemerintah. Melalui program Perhutanan Sosial masyarakat Desa Wonorejo dapat mengelola hutan mengingat Perhutanan Sosial merupakan sistem pengelolaan hutan lestari yang dilaksanakan dalam Kawasan Hutan Negara. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini yaitu pendampingan dalam melakukan pengukuran dan pemetaan batas Hutan Desa, serta pendampingan pemetaan area pemanfaatan Hutan Desa. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu partisipatory community dengan melibatkan masyarakat secara partisipatif dan memanfaatkan teknologi spasial dalam identifikasi kawasan hutan sosial. Adapun langkah-langkah pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan cara survei pendahuluan, sosialisasi program pengabdian, pemanfaatan teknologi geospasial seperti penggunaan GPS dan Drone, pembuatan peta dasar dengan menggunakan softwere pemetaan, pendampingan pengukuran dan pemetaan batas hutan desa, pendampingan pemetaan area pemanfaatan hutan desa. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan kawasan hutan produksi yang ada di dalam wilayah Desa Wonorejo seluas 81,7 ha dan berada dalam PIAPS. Pada area hutan yang ada di Desa Wonorejo terdapat sumber air yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sekitar untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari. Hasil pemotretan foto udara menunjukkan area hutan desa wonorejo masih alami dan memiliki lereng yang curam hingga landai Kata kunci: teknologi spasial; hutan sosial; perhutanan sosial Abstract Wonorejo Village is a village in Singosari District. In this village area there is a production forest area. This forest is a government-owned forest. Through the Social Forestry program, the Wonorejo Village community can manage forests considering that Social Forestry is a sustainable forest management system implemented in the State Forest Area. The purpose of this service is assistance in measuring and mapping Village Forest boundaries, as well as assistance in mapping Village Forest utilization areas. The method used in this service is participatory community by involving the community in a participatory manner and utilizing spatial technology in identifying social forest areas. The steps for this service are carried out by means of a preliminary survey, socialization of the service program, use of geospatial technology such as the use of GPS and Drones, making base maps using mapping software, assistance with measuring and mapping village forest boundaries, assistance with mapping village forest utilization areas. The results of the service show that the production forest area within the Wonorejo Village area is 81,7 ha and is within PIAPS. In the forest area in Wonorejo Village there is a water source which is used by the local community for their daily needs. Abstract

Learning media supports effective and efficient learning. Meanwhile, seismic learning is deemed as a challenging geography course, thereby, requiring animated video as a medium to visualize abstract concepts into concrete ones. Thus, this study formulates animated learning videos using the SAVI approach for seismic material. It also assesses the effect of animated video media on student learning outcomes. The animation video was constructed using the ADDIE research model and tried out in a pre-experimental pretest-posttest type one group design. The trial was conducted involving 27 tenth grade students from Sunan Ampel Islamic Senior High School. The results of the validity test from the material expert indicate an 88 percent agreement rate, while the media expert shows an 87.3 percent agreement rate. The teacher's response questionnaire received a score of 97 percent, while the student responses received a score of 88%. After attending learning with animated video, the average student score increased from 51.31 to 83.77 in the pretest and posttest results. The data obtained from the normality test showed a normal distribution, while the t-test suggested significant results with sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 lees than 0.05. These results imply a significant difference in students' skills before and after the use of animated video media. In summary, the developed media is suitable for seismic learning, offering a positive impact on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the government made a decision by conducting the learning process from home through online learning. This study aims to identify the difficulties of geography teachers in public high schools and efforts to overcome them in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The population of this study were 12 geography teachers of public high schools in Kediri Regency. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis used the percentage technique to compare the frequency of answers to questions in each category with the number of respondents. The results obtained with a score of 47 can be classified as having difficulty. Geography teachers in Kediri Regency have difficulty delivering material, managing classes, evaluating students, low internet mastery skills, low student readiness in online learning and inadequate student learning environment situations make it difficult for teachers to optimize the learning process. Efforts to overcome the teacher by participating in MGMP activities to increase information so that the implementation of online learning is more effective. Teachers can operate applications, improve communication with students and collaborate with parents face-to-face to optimize the achievement of learning objectives. Adanya pandemi COVID-19 pemerintah mengambil keputusan dengan melakukan proses pembelajaran dari rumah melalui pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan guru geografi SMA Negeri dan upaya mengatasinya pada pembelajaran daring saat masa pandemi COVID-19. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 12 guru geografi SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Kediri. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner berupa angket. Analisis data menggunakan teknik persentase untuk membandingkan frekuensi jawaban pertanyaan tiap kategori dengan jumlah responden. Diperoleh hasil skor 47 dapat diklasifikasikan mengalami kesulitan. Guru geografi di Kabupaten Kediri mengalami kesulitan menyampaikan materi, mengelola kelas, mengevaluasi siswa, rendahnya kemampuan penguasaan internet, kesiapan siswa dalam pembelajaran daring yang rendah dan situasi lingkungan belajar siswa yang kurang memadai membuat guru kesulitan untuk mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran. Upaya mengatasi yang dilakukan guru dengan mengikuti kegiatan MGMP untuk meningkatkan informasi agar pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring lebih efektif. Guru dapat mengoperasikan aplikasi, meningkatkan komunikasi dengan siswa dan bekerjasama dengan orang tua secara tatap muka untuk mengoptimalkan pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research is based on the fact that geography teachers are still found in making geography lesson plans that are not in accordance with the predetermined process standards. In addition, the 2013 curriculum will end, so an evaluation of planning is needed. This research aims to evaluate the planning of geography learning in the 2013 curriculum. This type of research is descriptive research. The evaluation model used is gap evaluation. The research subjects were all teachers of geography, with sampling using cluster random sampling methods. Collecting data using a document with percentage analysis. The results of this study were obtained from the quality of high school geography learning planning in the form of syllabus learning tools and lesson plans. In the syllabus of geography teachers in Malang Regency, the categories are very consistent with the percentage, consisting of SMAN 1 Lawang, SMAN 1 Singosari, SMAN 1 Tumpang, SMAN 1 Kepanjen, SMAN 1 Dampit, SMAN 1 Turen and SMAN 1 Sumberpucung. Meanwhile, geography teachers with categories according to the percentage of 22 percent consisting of SMAN 1 Gondanglegi and SMAN 1 Bululawang. In the lesson plans categories are very consistent with the percentage 11 percent of SMAN 1 Kepanjen. Geography teachers in the appropriate category with a percentage of 45 percent are at SMAN 1 Sumberpucung, SMAN 1 Lawang, SMAN 1 Singosari and SMAN 1 Tumpang. Geography teacher in the quite conisisten with the percentage 33 percent of SMAN 1 Bululawang, SMAN 1 Dampit dan SMAN 1 Turen. Geography teachers in the less appropriate category 11 percent are at SMAN 1 Gondanglegi. Penelitian ini didasari ditemukan guru geografi dalam membuat perencanaan pembelajaran geografi yang belum sesuai dengan standar proses yang ditentukan. Selain itu kurikulum 2013 akan berakhir sehingga diperlukan adanya evaluasi perencanaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi kesesuaian perencanaan pembelajaran geografi dengan kurikulum 2013. Jenis penelitian adalah evaluasi. Model evaluasi yang digunakan adalah evaluasi kesenjangan. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh guru geografi, dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumen dengan analisis persentase. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh dari kualitas perencanaan pembelajaran geografi SMA berupa perangkat pembelajaran silabus dan RPP. Pada silabus guru geografi di Kabupaten Malang kategori amat sesuai dengan persentase 22 persen terdiri dari SMAN 1 Lawang, SMAN 1 Singosari, SMAN 1 Tumpang, SMAN 1 Kepanjen, SMAN 1 Dampit, SMAN 1 Turen dan SMAN 1 Sumberpucung. Sedangkan guru geografi kategori sesuai dengan persentase 22 persen terdiri dari SMAN 1 Gondanglegi dan SMAN 1 Bululawang. RPP guru geografi kategori amat sesuai persentase 11 persen berada di SMAN 1 Kepanjen. Guru geografi kategori sesuai persentase 45 persen berada di SMAN 1 Sumberpucung, SMAN 1 Lawang, SMAN 1 Singosari dan SMAN 1 Tumpang Guru geografi kategori cukup sesuai dengan persentase 33 persen berada di SMAN 1 Bululawang, SMAN 1 Dampit dan SMAN 1 Turen. Guru geografi kategori kurang sesuai 11 persen berada di SMAN 1 Gondanglegi.

Abstract

Geographical Inquiry is a mindset with which students can identify geographical phenomena through learning models to train students to think analytically. This research was conducted to know the effect of the geographical research learning model on analytical patterns. The research conducted is included in pseudo-experimental research with two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class, which is in accordance with the results of the UTS scores in the even semester. The subjects in this study were students of grade 11 Social Studies Department 1 as the control class and 11 Social Studies Department 2 as the experimental class at MA AL UMM. Data collection used by researchers is pre-test and post-test testing techniques. The resulting data can be analysed using an independent sample t-test. The results of the analysis obtained from the t-test show that the sig value (2-tailed) of the average Gain Score in the experimental class is 12 while in the control class it is 4.5 The difference in the average Gain Score between the experimental and control groups is 7.5 which means that everyone increase in variable X (geographical inquiry model), the value of variable Y (learning outcomes) will increase. So, the experimental class has a more excellent average than the control class, so Ho is rejected. It can be concluded that learning geographical inquiry has an effect on the geographical analytical thinking of Grade 11 social studies students at MA AL UMM. Geographical Inquiry merupakan pola pikir yang dengannya siswa dapat mengidentifikasi fenomena geografis melalui model pembelajaran sehingga dapat melatih siswa untuk berpikir analitis. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan agar tahu akan pengaruh model pembelajaran penelitian geografi pada pola analitis. Penelitian yang dilakukan termasuk dalam penelitian eksperimen semu dengan dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang sesuai dengan hasil nilai UTS pada semester genap. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas 11 Jurusan IPS 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan 11 Jurusan IPS 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen di MA AL UMM. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah teknik pre-test dan post-test testing. Data yang dihasilkan dapat dianalisis menggunakan independent sample t-test. Hasil analisis yang didapatkan dari uji-t menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig (2-tailed) hasil rata-rata Gain Score pada kelas eksperimen adalah 12 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 4,5 Selisih rata-rata Gain Score antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol sebesar 7,5 yang artinya setiap kenaikan satu variabel X (model geographical inquiry) maka nilai variabel Y (hasil belajar) akan naik. Sehingga kelas eksperimen memiliki rata-rata lebih besar dari kelas kontrol, sehingga Ho ditolak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran penelitian geografi berpengaruh terhadap pemikiran analitik geografis siswa Kelas 11 Jurusan IPS di MA AL UMM.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a qualitative descriptive study, data obtained through observations, interviews and documentation, this research was carried out because social studies learning was carried out during the day, making students feel less enthusiastic about participating in learning, so there is a need for more enjoyable learning so that students actively participate. social studies learning, this research aims to find out how to implement the Pokemon Go type cooperative learning model in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 9 Malang, the results of this research show the steps for implementing the Pokemon Go type cooperative learning model in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 9 Malang The planning stage contains preparations before implementing cooperative learning using the Pokemon Go type. In implementing the learning, there are several steps that are carried out, namely the preliminary stage, core and closing activities, and evaluation. Apart from that, there are inhibiting and supporting factors during the activities of implementing the Pokemon Go type cooperative learning model. The obstacles are signal problems, students who do not master the material, and some students who are less active, while the supporting factors are the ease of using devices, the availability of free WiFi and students who are enthusiastic about learning Pokemon Go, and solutions to overcome the problems of implementing the Type Cooperative Learning Model.
