Abstract

Technological developments impact the learning process as well as the utilization of increasingly creative and innovative learning media. The learning medium becomes essential to the achievement of learning objectives. This study aims to develop scratch-based learning media on uniformly accelerated rectilinear motion material to enhance high school students' concept understanding. The research method used is R&D (Research and Development) with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Data collection in this study was done by distributing feasibility test questionnaires consisting of three aspects, namely presentation, material, and language, to one expert lecturer in physics education and 13 prospective physics teacher students. Based on the feasibility test results by the validator on the learning medium, the score of each aspect is 3.1, 3.1, and 2.9, with an average score of 3.1 in the feasible category. Therefore, the learning medium that has been developed is feasible to use to increase students' conceptual understanding of uniformly accelerated rectilinear motion material. This study suggests that incorporating scratch-based learning media into other materials can enhance students' comprehension of the subject matter. The recommendations for further research are to test learning media on a large scale at school.

Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan proses sains dapat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas pembelajaran dan berpengaruh pada keberhasilan pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran fisika sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains pada materi getaran harmonis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Educational Research and Development dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination). Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode simpangan baku ideal (SBi). Hasil uji kelayakan diperoleh rata-rata skor 3,65 untuk RPP; 3,68 untuk LKPD; dan 3,89 untuk instrumen penilaian tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan, perangkat pembelajaran fisika yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini sangat layak diterapkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains pada materi getaran harmonis.

Abstract

Indonesian local wisdom-based learning still needs to be improved, such as Pacu Jalur. This is useful for introducing the nation's culture to students, so they are not forgotten. However, learning local wisdom must also be integrated with technology-based learning so that it remains in line with current developments. The purpose of this research is to develop students' worksheets for Game-based PBL models integrated with Local Wisdom Pacu Jalur in physics learning. The topic chosen in this study is Bouyance Force. The method in this study uses the 4D model, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The developed students' worksheets have been validated by three physics education lecturers. The research results obtained are aspects of content eligibility 85 (decent), presentation 90 (very feasible), appearance 88 (very feasible), and language 89 very feasible. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the students' worksheets developed are feasible and ready to be implemented in physics learning on the topic of bouyance force. The recommendation for further research is to test students' worksheets in large-scale learning in physics classes.

Abstract

Physics learning media is very important to be used in learning to attract students' interest in teaching and learning activities. These learning media can be created using the help of 3D application Scratch. One of the materials that can be made using Scratch media is a voltmeter electric measuring instrument. Abstract physics material can be explained using the help of Scratch-assisted learning media. Therefore, a 3D application-assisted physics learning media was created on the topic of voltmeter electric measuring instruments to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to develop Scratch-based physics learning media on the subject of voltmeter electric measuring instruments. In addition, this study also aims to determine the feasibility of Scratch-based physics learning media on the subject of voltmeter electric measuring instruments that have been made. The research was conducted with a 4D development model with stages in the form of define, planning stage, development stage, and dissemination stage. The analysis was performed using the SBi method by converting ordinal data to intervals using MSi analysis. The results showed that the learning media created was in the feasible category. Thus, learning media can be used in learning.

Abstract

Students' learning motivation on the topic of parabolic motion is still low because the current learning tends to focus on the teacher so it is less interesting and students are less active. This research aims to develop physics learning media on the topic of parabolic motion using the scratch application to increase students' learning motivation. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) which follows the 4D model (Four-D Models). The instrument used was a feasibility questionnaire which was assessed by 1 expert examining lecturer and 4 prospective physics teacher students. The product feasibility test results from the presentation aspect were 3.10 by the expert examiner lecturer and 3.24 by the students, the content aspect was 2.66 by the expert examiner lecturer and 2.95 by the students, the linguistic aspect was 2.87 by the expert examiner lecturer and 3.02 by students, and the motivation aspect was 3.23 by expert examiners and 3.33 by students. Overall, an average score of 2.96 was obtained by the assessment of expert examiners and 3.13 by prospective physics teacher students. Based on the analysis results obtained, physics learning media on the topic of parabolic motion using the scratch application to increase students' learning motivation is included in the feasible category. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning berbantu PhET yang layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan aktivitas belajar peserta didik SMA. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengembangkan LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning berbantu PhET, dan (2) mengetahui kelayakan LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning berbantu PhET yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (RD) dengan model 4D. Model 4d terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu: Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan) dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwan kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran fisika berupa LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning berbantu PhET berhasil dikembangkan. Hasil uji validitas pada perangkat ini mendapat kriteria sangat baik dalam aspek kelayakan isi, penyajian, grafik dan sumber, dan bahasa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perangkat pembelajaran fisika berupa LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning berbantu PhET berhasil dikembangkan dan layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

The transition of learning using an online platform where there is a lack of preparation of educators in the transition of online learning and there are challenges to meet the needs of online learning. Therefore, the right strategy is needed to help educators to improve learning in the classroom. This research is research and development type Research and Development (RD). This development research aims to produce a product in the form of a collaborative teaching learning model syntax. Researchers develop learning media using the 4D development model. The 4D model is a model consisting of: define, design, develop and disseminate. The syntax development of the collaborative teaching learning model that was developed was tested by 7 validators consisting of 4 physics education lecturers at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta and 3 high school (SMA) teachers. Based on data from validation results by validators on learning media, a score for each aspect was obtained, namely 3.36; 3.43; 3.57; 3.33; 3.33; 3.29; 3.14; 3.43 with an average score of 3.36 in the very valid category. Therefore, the syntax of the learning model developed meets the criteria for being very valid and can be used in learning..

Abstract

Media pembelajaran adalah segala benda atau perangkat yang digunakan oleh guru dalam proses belajar-mengajar untuk memudahkan guru dan siswa mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Penting bagi guru untuk dapat menggunakan media pembelajaran yang sudah teruji kelayakannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) mengembangkan media pembelajaran fisika berbantuan Scratch pada materi gerak parabola, dan (2) mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran fisika berbantuan Scratch pada materi gerak parabola yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan metode pengembangan 4D. Penelitian Research and Development dengan metode pengembangan 4D terdiri atas 4 tahap yaitu: Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan) dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran fisika berbantuan Scratch pada materi gerak parabola berhasil dikembangkan dan didapatkan hasil uji validitas berupa kriteria sangat valid pada seluruh aspek yang diujikan yaitu aspek tampilan, aspek isi, dan aspek bahasa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran fisika berbantuan Scratch pada materi gerak parabola sudah berhasil dikembangkan dan layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Nowadays education is in industry 4.0 where technology continues to develop over time. The development of this technology is very influential in various aspects, one of which is the way a teacher conveys learning. Emodule is a modification of conventional modules by combining information technology, so that it can display an interesting and interactive module. The aim of this research is to develop emodule learning media with a Project Based Learning model to improve learning concepts in parabolic motion material that is integrated with science, technology, engineering and mathematics, so that students do not only focus on the material. The method used in this research is the 4D development research method (Design, Develop, Dissaminate). This research was carried out by distributing validation sheets to experts in the field of physics education to determine the feasibility of the emodule developed from four aspects, namely material aspects, illustrations, media quality and appearance, and attractiveness. Then, data processing is carried out based on criteria on a scale of 5. The overall average value is based on 4 aspects

Abstract

Learning media is one factor in increasing students' learning motivation. So, it is necessary to develop learning media that attract students' learning interest and activeness in class. This development research aims to develop learning media that is oriented towards the use of technological developments. This research uses a 4D research model, which has 4 stages starting with definition until the final stage is dissemination. The research instrument used was a questionnaire instrument for the validity of video learning media. The results of this research are learning media in the form of videos created using CapCut software which is currently popular among young people. The learning video that was developed showed an average feasibility result of 88% with the category very suitable for use in learning sound waves.
