Abstract

Research culturization and structurization are essential for society in the current era of information acceleration. This significance is no exception and is highly specialized in educational institutions such as formal schools. Teachers as academic actors who are directly in contact with students know the ins and outs of the challenges faced at school. This study aims to analyze teachers' expectations of research-and-innovation-based school/madrasa (Sembari) as expectations shape perception and influence the implementation. A hundred teachers from Indonesia's primary, secondary, and senior education levels became the research object by completing the MIMPI Sembari questionnaire. The teachers support the implementation of culturization and structurization of research and innovation. Their expectations are holistic by including expectations for each structure, namely teachers, students, and the school, and the implementation of Sembari at school. The findings of this study shift the paradigm of research practice at schools, which are only concerned with a culture of research competition between students. These findings support the essential culturization and structurization of research at Indonesian schools and madrasas. Teachers' expectations represent the practical needs of teachers and teachers' observation of education practice at schools. Further research about school structure and culture can be developed by exploring schools' needs from various perspectives.

Abstract

Integrity and good character are two qualities that are important for students. Entering the newnormal era, this character becomes a particular attraction, especially regarding students' honesty in participating in online/offline learning. Sometimes, the integrity character may not receive maximum attention from the school community and policymakers because the argument is that there is already conditioning in the environment. Schools foster the character of integrity, but from the observations of some teachers, they do not carry out and provide supervision during the learning process. These small rights can lead to the phenomenonof dishonesty, such as cooperation that is not allowed during the test (congregational cheating/academic honesty). The research method carried out is more qualitative. However, it also uses quantitative data as a support to sharpen the analysis. The primary data collection methods are interviews, observation, and document review. The results of the studyindicate that the character integrity of students ideally has a model or example of the applicationof the character of integrity, especially in the aspect of honesty, applying a reward and punishment model to students with good character.

Abstract

Assessment in language learning has become increasingly complex in the era of generative artificial intelligence, particularly when learners’ integrity and ethical awareness are not yet sufficiently developed. This study aims to map the shifting landscape of language learning amid the rapid emergence of generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini. Employing a literature review methodology, this study analyzed 20 relevant peer-reviewed articles published between 2023 and 2025 that examine language learning practices in the context of generative AI. The findings reveal an evolutionary shift in language learning practices, moving from passive reference tools such as printed and digital dictionaries toward interactive, adaptive, and dialogic systems. The expanded access to linguistic input, real-time feedback, and personalized practice is concentrated on practical and procedural aspects of language learning, including writing support, grammar correction, vocabulary practice, translation, and automated feedback rather than deeper understanding of structures, meaning-making processes, and the construction of knowledge in long-term memory. This imbalance indicates that current AI-supported practices tend to enhance efficiency and surface-level performance rather than durable language competence. The findings suggest an urgent need to redesign language assessment practices that align with emerging cultures of AI-assisted autonomous learning while maintaining academic integrity and meaningful learning.

Abstract

Penelitian sebelumnya yaitu jenis aktivator, konsentrasi aktivator dan waktu aktivasi, yaitu menggunakan aktivator H3PO4 dengan konsentrasi 8%, 10%, 12%, dan 14% dengan waktu aktivasi 24 jam. Variasi ini memungkinkan pengujian karbon aktif dari limbah pelepah kelapa sawit menentukan perbandingan yang optimal antara activator dan waktu aktivasi serta variasi konsentrasi dapat mempengaruhi kualitas karbon aktif. Ada empat proses diantaranya: tahap persiapan bahan baku, tahap karbonisasi, tahap aktivasi dan tahap analisa karateristik karbon aktif dari limbah pelepah kelapa sawit. Variabel pada penelitian dalam proses adalah konsentrasi aktivator NaOH (0,5, 1,0, 1,5, 2, dan 2,5 N), dan waktu aktivasi (18, 20, 22, dan 24 jam). Pengujian terhadap sampel meliputi moisture, ash, volatile matter, daya serap iodin, fixed karbon dan uji SEM. Hasil pengujian diperoleh kadar air berkisar antara 0,432-0,874 %, kadar abu berkisar antara 0,713-0,998 %, kadar zat terbang berkisar antara 0,420-0,948% , fixed karbon berkisar antara 97,387-97,907 % daya serap iod berkisar antara 510,17-837,60 mg/g. Citra Permukaan SEM karbon aktif menggunakan NaOH menghasil permukaan objek yang gelap. Gelapnya objek pada hasil uji SEM menunjukan kedalaman . Semakin gelap permukaan maka semakin dalam sehingga mudah dalam menyerap limbah.Kata kunci: Aktivasi, aktivator, karbonasi, karbon aktif, uji SEM

Abstract

Biodiesel dapat diperoleh dari transesterifikasi minyak nabati atau limbah minyak jelantah dan merupakan alternatif bahan bakar yang lebih ramah lingkungan. Krisis energi di seluruh dunia dan efek negatif yang ditimbulkan oleh penggunaan bahan bakar fosil telah mendorong pengembangan biodiesel sebagai alternatif yang lebih ramah lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan biodiesel dari minyak jelantah dengan menggunakan katalis berbasis biochar yang berasal dari pyrolysis dari typha latifolia. Pemurnian minyak jelantah dengan karbon aktif, pembuatan katalis biochar melalui pyrolysis dan kalsinasi, dan reaksi transesterifikasi. Ada perbedaan rasio mol minyak jelantah dan metanol yang berbeda (1:6, 1:8, 1:10, 1:12, dan 1:14), serta perbedaan massa katalis yang berbeda (4%, 6%, 8%, 10%, dan 12%). Penelitian ini sudah pernah dilakukan sebelumnya, yang belum pernah dilakukan adalah pemanfaatan tanaman typha latifolia (ekor kucing) sebagai katalis heterogen dari hasil produk samping pyrolysis secara sistematis dalam variasi rasio molar minyak dan metanol serta jumlah katalis, yang dikombinasikan dengan analisis mendalam struktur permukaan katalis menggunakan XRD, SEM-EDX, dan BET. Hal ini berbeda dari penelitian sebelumnya yang umumnya hanya fokus pada konversi biodiesel tanpa kajian karakterisasi katalis secara terperinci. Parameter produksi, densitas, viskositas, dan kadar asam lemak bebas (FFA) serta komposisi kimia digunakan untuk menganalisis karakteristik biodiesel. Ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) dan Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR). Selain itu, karakterisasi katalis dilakukan dengan menggunakan Scanning Electron Microscope-Energy Dispersive X-ray (SEM-EDX), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), dan Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET). Dalam penelitian yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan katalis char typha latifolia untuk transesterifikasi minyak jelantah, biodiesel yang paling efektif dihasilkan dengan rasio mol minyak dan metanol 1:6 dengan 4% katalis hasil yang didapatkan yield 80,73%, densitas 0,89 gr/ml, viskositas 4,43 mm2/s, dan bilangan asam 0,39 mg-KOH/gr. Biodiesel yang dihasilkan memenuhi Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI). Hasil analisis komposisi menggunakan GC-MS menunjukkan bahwa ada senyawa metil ester dengan total 36,25%. Ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pembentukan biodiesel.
