Abstract

Tafsir Tarbawi learning in higher education often experiences methodological obstacles so that the learning atmosphere becomes monotonous and less interesting, especially for millennials and Z generations who need interactive and fun learning methods. This study aims to examine the application of the Joyful Learning approach and its impact on student motivation and understanding. The research used a qualitative method with a case study approach to third semester students of the Islamic Education Study Program at UIN Palangka Raya. Data were collected through participatory observation during the learning process, semi-structured interviews with selected students, and document analysis in the form of teaching materials and student assignments. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify patterns and main themes related to the effectiveness of the Joyful Learning approach. Data validity was maintained through triangulation of data sources and methods, as well as member checking with research participants. The results showed that the application of Joyful Learning - through ice breaking activities, mind-mapping discussions, creative presentations, and interactive quizzes - succeeded in creating a lively and participatory classroom atmosphere. The positive impact can be seen from the increase in enthusiasm, contextual understanding of tarbawi verses, critical thinking skills, and students' emotional and intellectual engagement. This research contributes to the development of innovative and humanist Tafsir Tarbawi learning methods and opens up opportunities for further research with a wider scope and more comprehensive methods.

Abstract

The emergency of the new era, namely industrial era 4.0, is a challenge and opportunity in all aspects of life, including education’s field. Along with the emergence of challenges and opportunities, there need to be new breakthroughs in innovation for developing the learning courses, namely Tarkib Mukatstsaf Ibtida'i. This course is a compulsory subject for students of the Department of Arabic Letter, Faculty of Letters, State University of Malang (JSA, FS, UM). This study was designed to test the feasibility of android-based Arabic language learning innovations in tertiary institutions. The subjects of this study were students of JSA, FS, UM as respondents, lecturers of educational technology departments, UM as media experts and lecturers of Arabic letter, UM as material experts. The results of the validation test of Tarkib Mukatstsaf Ibtida'i's teaching materials product conducted by material experts are 95%, which means these teaching materials are very valid and very feasible to be used in learning. The results of validation from media experts, the value of this product is 95.38% means that this teaching material is very valid and very feasible to be used in learning. Abstract

The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) such as ChatGPT has brought significant changes in the way humans’ access and understand information, including in the religious field. This research aims to examine how the transformation of Islamic values occurs through ChatGPT responses in the aspects of educational ethics, Islamic law, da'wah, and Qur'anic interpretation. This study applied a qualitative case study method and data was collected from indexed scientific articles from academic databases, ChatGPT responses, and online news articles. The study findings show that the use of ChatGPT in the context of Islam requires caution. While technology can answer a variety of questions, there are fundamental flaws related to the accuracy of citations, unverified sources of information, and a lack of understanding of the sharia context. In fact, there are errors in the mention of Qur'anic verses that have the potential to cause confusion. This emphasizes the importance of the sanad principle in Islamic scholarship as a valid reference. The paper proposes the need to develop more ethical and contextual AI systems in understanding religious questions, as well as the involvement of scholars and academics in training machines to conform to Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aimed to enhance the reading proficiency of seventh-grade students at MTs/SMP through the use of interactive Arabic learning media based on Construct 2. Using a classroom action research approach, the study involved 15 students from Grade 7 at SMP Darul Faqih, with the teacher serving as an observer. The research was conducted in two cycles, with data showing that students' average score in the first cycle was 40, falling below the minimum competency standard (MCS). However, in the second cycle, the average score improved significantly to 80, indicating a substantial increase in reading proficiency. These results highlight that the use of Construct 2-based interactive media effectively supports students' learning, particularly in developing their reading skills in Arabic. Thus, it can be concluded that this media is a valuable tool for enhancing students' Arabic language learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyze and explain (1) the effect of work-life balance on the work involvement of employees of Kelurahan and Kecamatan Semarang Tengah (2) the effect of psychological well-being on the work involvement of employees of Kelurahan and Kecamatan Semarang Tengah. This research is a type of explanatory research. The research sample was 100 employees of the village office and sub-district of Central Semarang, Semarang City. Data collection using the google form application is sent to all respondents. Respondents who fill out a complete questionnaire become data that can be analyzed. For the purposes of data analysis, instrument tests, model tests and hypothesis tests (t tests) are carried out. The research findings are (1) Work-life balance has a positive effect on the work involvement of employees of the Kelurahan and Central Semarang sub-districts. (2) Psychological well-being has a positive effect on the work involvement of employees of Kelurahan and Central Semarang District. Based on research findings that show that work involvement is influenced by work-life balance and psychological well-being, therefore, sub-districts and sub-districts in making policies related to human resource management need to provide space for employees to build work-life balance and the formation of psychological well-being of employees.

Abstract

Purpose: Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that remains a primary concern in Indonesia; it requires considerable attention and is one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs). Stunting prevention is very important, and one program that can be implemented is health communication. This study aimed to evaluate, review, and criticize published articles regarding the effectiveness of health communication in efforts to prevent stunting. Methodology: A systematic and comprehensive literature search was conducted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines using the following databases: PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar until September 2023. Results: All the included studies stated that health communication has a significant positive impact on stunting prevention through three types of communication: interpersonal, group, and mass communication. The messages conveyed by communicators to communicants cover most of the important messages that must be conveyed, including exclusive breastfeeding, complementary foods, BMI and HAZ scores, and nutritional behavior. The methods used also varied, ranging from counseling methods at posyandu or integrated healthcare centers, use of flipcharts, radio, TV, support groups, home visits, mobile outreach, food production, and training of community health workers. Limitations: According to the review, this study has limitations, including a limited number of studies, and the research population is not spread across every region in the world; consequently, the results of this review may not be able to represent all populations and races globally. Contribution: We hope that the findings of this study can be used as a reference for further research related to stunting management using a health communication approach. In addition, this study can be used as a reference source for conducting outreach, interpersonal communication, group communication, and mass communication related to stunting, so that stunting prevention programs in Indonesia can be implemented widely and comprehensively.

Abstract

Munculnya era baru yaitu era industri 4.0 menjadi tantangan dan peluang dalam segala aspek kehidupan dan termasuk di dalamnya yaitu dunia pendidikan. Saat ini buku yang terbesar peredarannya masih didominasi oleh buku cetak, hal ini tentu menjadi peluang untuk memunculkan buku non cetak sebagai solusi menghadai era revolusi industri 4.0. Salah satu buku non cetak yang bisa dibuat yaitu bahan cetak berbasis aplikasi Android. Matakuliah Tarkib Mukatstsaf Ibtida’i merupakan matakuliah wajib yang harus ditempuh oleh mahasiswa Jurusan Sastra Arab Fakultas Sastra Universitas Negeri Malang (JSA FS UM). Seiring munculnya era revolusi industri 4.0 perlu adanya terobosan baru dalam matakuliah ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendesain dan mengembangkan bahan ajar Tarkib Mukatstsaf Ibtida’i berbasis Android bagi mahasiswa JSA FS UM. Hasil dari penelitian ini dalam pengembangan bahan ajar Tarkib Mukatstsaf Ibtida’i berbasis Android yang perlu dilakukan adalah menganalisis Rencana Perkuliahan Semester (RPS), merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran setiap materi bahan ajar yang akan dikembangkan, mendesain bahan ajar, mengembangkan bahan ajar dalam Ms Word, dan mengembangan bahan ajar yang berupa Ms Word ke dalam aplikasi Android. Ada 14 materi yang dikembangkan. Isi setiap materi terdiri atas tema, tujuan pembelajaran, materi pembelajaran, dan soal-soal latihan.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) analyze and explain the effect of work life balance on the work commitment of Maybank Semarang employees (2) analyze and explain the effect of self-efficacy on the work commitment of Maybank Semarang employees; (3) analyze and explain the effect of work experience on the work commitment of Maybank Semarang employees. This research is a type of explanatory research. The population of this study was employees of PT Maybank Semarang, as many as 82 employees of Maybank Semarang, and all populations were sampled (census method). The data collection method uses a questionnaire in the form of a google form that is distributed to all respondents. The findings of this study: (1) Work life balance has a positive effect on the commitment of Maybank Semarang employees. This means that the higher the work life balance, the higher the commitment of Maybank Semarang employees; (2) Self-efficacy has a positive effect on the work commitment of Maybank Semarang employees; (3) Work Experience negatively affects the work commitment of Maybank Semarang employees. Based on the findings of this study, it shows that the building of work commitment is influenced by the ability of employees to balance between commitment to work demands and commitment to personal and family interests and self-efficacy, therefore, leaders in policies related to human resource management provide space for employees to build work-life balance and the growth of self-efficacy through the development of employee competencies.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to explain and analyze (1) the effect of work involvement on employee work commitment (2) the effect of intrinsic work motivation on employee work commitment (3) the effect of job satisfaction on employee work commitment of Pemalang District Health Office employees. This research is a type of explanatory research (explanatory research) Research sample of 100 employees using Purposive sampling Data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires using the googleform application. Respondents who fill out a complete questionnaire become data that can be analyzed. For the benefit of data analysis carried out instrument test, model test and hypothesis test. Testing using SPSS version 25. The findings of the research are (1) work involvement has a positive effect on employee work commitment, (2) intrinsic motivation has a positive effect on employee work commitment (3) job satisfaction has a positive effect on the work commitment of Pemalang District Health Office employees; Based on research findings that show employee work commitment is influenced by work engagement, intrinsic motivation and job satisfaction indicate that the work environment at the Pemalang District Health Office is conducive and needs to be maintained so that employee work commitment continues to increase

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze and explain the effect of (1) job satisfaction on employee work engagement, (2) work-life balance on employee work engagement (3) recognition of employee work involvement of PT Jaya Arnikon in the city of Semarang. This type of research is explanatory research. The sample was 102 employees. Data collection uses a questionnaire using a google form, which is then sent to each respondent. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression. For the purpose of analysis, instrument tests are carried out; model test and hypothesis test with the help of SPSS software. The findings of the research results were (1) Job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee work involvement (2) Work-life balance has a positive effect on employee work involvement (3) Recognition has a positive effect on employee work engagement of PT Jaya Arnikon.
