Abstract

Objective – This study aims to evaluate the quality of public services and obtaim feedback on the performance of services provided to the community for continuous improvement of service performance based on the Public Satisfaction Index (IKM) at the Kedungadem Health Center in Semester II of 2024. Methodology – This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach through surveys to 100 respondents each from 14 villages and 13 types of health services. The score was measured using data processing techniques for analyzing the IKM. The survey instrument uses a questionnaire that is compiled based on 9 service elements determined by govemment regulations. Findings – The overall IKM value of the Kedungadem Health Center service is 85.40. which is categorized in the "Good" category. However, the element of Handling Complaints with a value of 66.55 and Product Specifications of Service Types, especially toilet cleanliness with a value of 72.45 in the "'Not Good" category so that it still needs to be improved. Research limitations/implications – This study was only conducted in one health center and only covered a period of one semester. Practical implications – The results can be used as evaluation material for health service managers in improving service quality in certain aspects. Originality/value – This research presents the practical application of IKM in evaluating and improving public services in the health sector, especially in health centers.

Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the raw material inventory management system at Belikopi Semolowaru using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. Raw material inventory is a vital aspect in maintaining smooth operational processes, but if managed inefficiently, it can lead to cost wastage and hinder production. The EOQ method was chosen because it can determine the most optimal order quantity, thereby reducing storage and ordering costs. Research data were collected through field observations, interviews with business owners, and review of raw material purchasing documents. The analysis included calculations of EOQ, safety stock, reorder point (ROP), and total inventory costs. The results showed that the implementation of EOQ at Belikopi Semolowaru was more effective than conventional methods, because it was able to reduce storage costs and reduce ordering frequency. The cost savings obtained were also more significant, thus not only increasing operational efficiency but also positively impacting the company's profitability. With more optimal inventory management, Belikopi Semolowaru was able to consistently meet customer demand without experiencing stock shortages or excess raw materials.

Abstract

This study aims to present a critical review of how economic and financial theory is used as a solution to rise from economic downturn during the pandemic. This article will present the implementation of economic policies and approaches from various countries in the Southeast Asia region in responding to the crisis during the pandemic. This research approach uses an exploratory qualitative research model. The results of this study present and provide an analysis of an event, thought, phenomenon, individual perception, and social activity in responding to a crisis. This study found a uniform approach used by various countries regarding economic recovery policies. Financial stimulus is given to the Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector to revive an economy that is experiencing difficulties. This study also finds a similar pattern related to financial stimulus policies in 6 (six) important sectors. These efforts include: creative industri incentives, road maps, training, and partnerships with investors for development.

Abstract

The integration of environmental sustainability and financial performance has become a growing concern in emerging economies, particularly within resource-intensive sectors such as the textile industry. This study investigates how environmental performance and working capital management affect firm profitability and firm value. It also examines the mediating role of profitability in these relationships. A quantitative research design was employed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The sample consisted of 15 textile companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2018 to 2023. Data were collected from audited financial statements. Variables include environmental performance, working capital management, profitability (measured by ROA), and firm value (measured by Tobin's Q). The empirical results reveal that environmental performance has a negative and significant impact on profitability but positively influences firm value. Working capital management negatively impacts profitability but does not significantly influence firm value. Furthermore, profitability does not significantly affect firm value and does not mediate the relationship between the independent variables and firm value. The findings suggest that environmental initiatives can enhance firm value independently of short-term financial gains. In the textile industry context, non-financial performance, particularly environmental responsibility, is increasingly recognized by the market, even when profitability does not improve. These findings offer useful insights for corporate managers and policymakers aiming to promote sustainability without compromising market valuation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh influencer endorsement, e-WOM, dan kualitas produk terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Skintific yang dimediasi oleh citra merek. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 orang responden yang berdomisili di Surabaya Timur dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis riset ini meliputi outer model, inner model, dan bootstrapping. Hasil riset ini menunjukkan bahwa 1)influencer endorsement berpengaruh signifikan terhadap citra merek produk Skintific. 2)influencer endorsement berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Skintific. 3)e-WOM berpengaruh signifikan terhadap citra merek produk Skintific. 4)e-WOM tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Skintific. 5)kualitas produk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap citra merek produk Skintific. 6)kualitas produk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Skintific. 7)citra merek tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. 8)citra merek memediasi pengaruh influencer endorsement tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Skintific. 9) citra merek memediasi pengaruh e-WOM tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Skintific. 10) citra merek memediasi pengaruh kualitas produk tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Skintific. Nilai Q2 sebesar 0,74 atau 74%, sehingga 26% lainnya dijelaskan oleh faktor lain yang tidak dimasukkan ke dalam penelitian.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi harga, kualitas produk, dan promosi terhadap keputusan pembelian anak muda pengguna platform e-commerce Shopee.Tujuan utamanya adalah untuk menguji sejauh mana faktor-faktor tersebut mempengaruhi preferensi pembelian dalam konteks Shopee, salah satu platform e-commerce besar di Indonesia. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan survei yang dibagikan kepada pengguna aktif Shopee yang berusia antara 15 dan 30 tahun.Teknik analisis statistik seperti analisis regresi digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis dan menilai pentingnya pengaruh masing-masing variabel independen terhadap keputusan pembelian. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi anak muda terhadap harga, kualitas produk, dan promosi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian mereka di Shopee. Implikasi dari temuan ini mengarah pada pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang faktor-faktor utama yang mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen saat berbelanja online di platform tersebut. Administrator Shopee dan perusahaan e-commerce lainnya dapat menggunakan informasi ini untuk mengembangkan strategi pemasaran yang lebih efektif guna menarik dan mempertahankan konsumen muda. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini tidak hanya memberikan wawasan berharga bagi para akademisi untuk memperkaya literatur tentang perilaku konsumen di era digital, namun juga bagi para pemangku kepentingan di industri e-commerce agar lebih mudah beradaptasi dan memenuhi kebutuhannya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of remuneration, time management, on employee performance with organizational citizenship behavior as an intervening variable at Archives and Library Service Surabaya City. The sampling technique used is total sampling (saturated sample). The research sample was 40 respondents. Data collection using a questionnaire distributed to all respondents. The data collected was then analyzed using SEM-PLS analysis techniques. Results showed that remuneration has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Remuneration has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Remuneration has a negative and significant effect on employee performance. Time management has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Time management has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. organizational citizenship behavior is negative and significant to employee performance. The effect of Remuneration has a negative and significant effect on Employee Performance with Organizational Citizenship Behavior as Mediation. The effect of Time Management has a negative and significant effect on Employee Performance with Organizational Citizenship Behavior as Mediation.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of digital work flexibility and work-life balance on employee commitment and its impact on public service efficiency at the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of Surabaya City. Using a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design, data were collected from 115 civil servants through a structured questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using regression and mediation tests via Python-based statistical tools. The results indicate that both digital work flexibility and work-life balance significantly influence employee commitment. Furthermore, employee commitment fully mediates the relationship between the two independent variables and public service efficiency. This means that any improvements in work flexibility and balance will only lead to enhanced service performance if they are able to foster stronger employee commitment. The study highlights the importance of adaptive and human-centered work arrangements in improving service delivery in public sector institutions. These findings have practical implications for the design of flexible work policies and underscore the strategic role of psychological commitment in the effectiveness of digital transformation in public administration.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of marketing capabilities and brand reputation on competitive advantage and brand loyalty among Tomoro Coffee customers in Surabaya. This study employs a quantitative research design using a cross-sectional method. The sample used in this research consisted of 100 respondents who are Tomoro Coffee customers residing in Surabaya. Sampling was conducted randomly through an online questionnaire using a Likert scale. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling ( SEM ) approach with the Partial Least Squares ( PLS ) methodology. The results of this research indicate that marketing capability and brand reputation have a positive and significant effect on competitive advantage. Competitive advantage, in turn, has a positive and significant effect on brand loyalty. Marketing capability has a negative and insignificant effect on brand loyalty, whereas brand reputation exerts a positive and significant effect on brand loyalty. Furthermore, brand reputation has a significant influence on brand loyalty through competitive advantage as a mediating variable, while marketing capability demonstrates an insignificant effect on brand loyalty through competitive advantage as a mediating variable. The implications of this research suggest that Starbucks and other business actors can enhance their performance measurement systems related to marketing capability, brand reputation, competitive advantage, and brand loyalty. These improvements are essential for maintaining and strengthening their competitive position in the market. Abstract

Analysis of the influence of financial distress and financial ratios with the Grover and Springate method is used to conduct a thorough examination of financial performance periodically over a certain period of time. so the purpose of this study is to determine how healthy a company is in the technology sector by analyzing factors that affect financial distress through financial ratios and the formula equation of the grover and Springate method. The results of this study are that the use of the GorgonL.V or S-SCORE method is a consistent method in predicting financial distress in companies, namely by approaching sales and total assets. by conducting financial distress predictions, companies can find out and prove the existence of factors that cause companies to go bankrupt. By increasing sales and proper management of total assets, companies can make high profits
