Abstract

This research examines the integration of technology in teaching materials to improve students' learning skills through the Project-Based Learning (PJBL) approach. Technology is used as a medium for collaboration, reflection and data collection that supports learning experiences that are interactive, engaging and relevant to students' real lives. The application of the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework helps teachers design effective and engaging learning experiences. The results show that the use of digital platforms such as Google Classroom, Edmodo and Microsoft Teams can improve students' motivation, engagement and 21st century skills, including collaboration, critical thinking and creativity. In addition, the integration of technology allows students to learn flexibly and actively participate in real projects, which ultimately supports the optimal success of implementing PPA

Abstract

This research is an initial study that aims to describe the condition of collaborative learning in elementary schools as a basis for developing learning media based on the Learning Cycle 5E model. The background of the research is based on the low collaboration skills of students and the unoptimal utilization of digital media and interactive approaches by teachers. The research method used descriptive quantitative and qualitative approaches with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires (76 elementary school teachers), in-depth interviews (4 classroom teachers), and observations of 24 fourth grade students in Selagai Lingga District. The results show that 86% of teachers have not used technology-based media, 80% have not implemented interactive learning models, and 92% assess students' collaboration skills as low. The observation mean of 2.35 confirmed the weakness of five collaboration indicators: cooperation, flexibility, responsibility, compromise and communication. The Learning Cycle 5E model is considered relevant to increase students' active involvement, and the development of technology-based media such as Articulate Storyline III has the potential to strengthen collaborative activities in learning. Thus, the development of LC5E-based learning media is a strategic solution to improve students' collaboration skills contextually and applicatively.

Abstract

Teaching material in learning outer space objects (PBLA) is an interesting and important topic for elementary school students to master. However, traditional methods in PBLA learning are often ineffective in increasing students' awareness and interest. Interactive multimedia learning uses a variety of technologies such as video images, and animation, as well as gamification elements such as points, levels, and rewards. Therefore, this research focuses on developing interactive multimedia learning and gamification to increase elementary school students' awareness and interest in PBLA. This research is research into the development of learning media using the 4D Method (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate) type Research and Development (R&D) and conducting field tests in class VI UPTD SDN 40 Negeri Katon. The research results showed that the validity of interactive PowerPoint learning media based on a scientific approach in learning material at UPTD SDN 40 Negeri Katon elementary school was based on the results of an assessment from media experts of 94.45% and an assessment of material experts of 97.45% in the very appropriate/very valid category. The practicality of learning media is stated to be practical based on the suitability of the material provided. This is proven by the teacher response results being 98% and the student response results being 100%. This research produces gamification learning media using interactive PowerPoint based on a scientific approach that is valid and practical to use. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to the development of more effective and interactive curriculum and learning methods to increase students' awareness and interest in PBLA material.

Abstract

Peer-tutoring Worksheet to Improve Student’s Self-efficacies at Departement of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Universitas Lampung. Objectives: This quantitative approach research investigated the influence of peer tutoring worksheet to improve student’s self-efficacy in learning. Methods: This study involved 56 students at primary teacher education, department of science education, Universitas Lampung. This study used N-Gain analysis and paired sample t-test to find the differences and improvement between pre-test and post-test in self-efficacy after given peer-tutoring worksheet treatment. Finding: Paired sample t-test indicated that there are the significant differences between pre-test and post-test after given peer tutoring worksheet treatment. N-gain analysis also revealed that there is improvement in student’s self-efficacy in learning after using peer-tutoring worksheet method in learning. With peer-tutoring worksheets, students are able to encourage and support each other so it increased student’s self-efficacy. Abstract

STEAM Approach in Renewable Energy Education: Global Trends and Future Research Direction. Renewable energy education is an alternative to reducing fossil energy consumption at the school level in which students are hoped to save the energy in their living environment by playing a role in behavior in dealing with energy crises. Many studies regarding the use of STEAM approach to educate students on renewable energy have sharply grown. Objectives[LS1] ; This[LS2]  recent research aims to find the novelty of those previous studies regarding renewable energy education using STEAM approach for future researches. Method; a systematic review using bibliometric analysis was performed to carry out this research whereby 16 literatures indexed by Scopus and published in 2015 – 2021 were involved as the data. Several analyses, such as co-word, performance, citation, and co-authorship were used to analyze the data promoted by VOSviewer software. Fundings; the Results of this recent study showed that publication trend of renewable energy education studies involving the STEAM approach slightly increased in the period of 2015 – 2021 while citation trend sharply decreased. Several documents and lots of authors coming from some countries in each continent contributed most to the studies of STEAM approach in renewable energy education. Conclusion; some main themes such as country’s participant, environment, renewable energy, awareness, sustainability, education, learning approach, and competence also emerged to synthesize the prospectively new direction of future researches in renewable energy education using the STEAM approach. Keywords: bibliometric, renewable energy education, STEAM approach.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v14.i2.202492

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Media Pembelajaran Komik Matematika berbantuan QR-Code yang layak (valid, praktis dan efektif) dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan desain ADDIE. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Sekolah Dasar di SD Negeri 2 Pasuruan Lampung Selatan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah Peserta Didik Kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini ada 2 yaitu teknik tes dan nontes. Kevalidan pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Komik Matematika berbantuan QR-Code berdasarkan penilaian dari 4 ahli yang memperoleh kategori sangat baik. Kepraktisan pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Komik Matematika berbantuan QR-Code berdasarkan tanggapan pendidik dan peserta didik memperoleh kategori sangat baik. Keefektifan pengembangan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis menggunakan uji effect size memperoleh skor Cohen’s d 0,99 dengan kategori Tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis Media Pembelajaran Komik Matematika berbantuan QR-Code yang dikembangkan valid, praktis dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Objectives: Computer component learning at MTs Negeri 1 Pringsewu still uses conventional methods (lectures, images, projectors) with limited interactivity. Laboratory conversion to classrooms restricts hands-on practice, resulting in low student interest and achievement (only 50% meet Minimum Completeness Criteria). Despite smartphone availability, Augmented Reality potential remains untapped. Prior Augmented Reality studies using Assemblr Studio have not developed targeted computer component media. This study aims to develop Augmented Reality-based learning media using Assemblr Studio to improve seventh-graders' understanding and interest. Methods: This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) approach with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Findings: The developed Augmented Reality module was validated as highly valid (media expert: 92.5%, material expert: 100%), practical (100% teacher/student approval), and effective (N-Gain 0.9160, high category). The immersive media enhances engagement and knowledge retention while meeting educational standards. Conclusion: Findings demonstrate Augmented Reality’s potential to improve learning quality and expand educational technology applications. This media serves as a reference for future interactive learning innovations.

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk berupa media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan aplikasi Nearpod pada materi Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model 4D dari Thiagarajan yang terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu Pendefinisian (Define), Perancangan (Design), Pengembangan (Develop), dan Penyebaran (Disseminate). Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai kevalidan produk dari ahli media sebesar 3,38 dengan kategori sangat valid dan penilaian ahli materi sebesar 3,91 dengan kategori sangat valid. Uji coba kepraktisan yang ditinjau dari respons siswa diperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 90,70% dengan kategori praktis, dan hasil dari persepsi guru diperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 95,62% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif dapat membantu pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa pada materi Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi dengan lebih baik dan menarik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan produk media pembelajaran interaktif yang dirancang dengan bantuan Authoring Tools jenis Ispring Suite untuk materi Sistem Komputer yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini mengadopsi penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 3D yang memiliki tiga tahapan yaitu Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), dan Develop (Pengembangan). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lingkungan SMA Negeri 1 Way Jepara pada peserta didik kelas X untuk mata pelajaran Informatika. Teknik analisis data yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah kevalidan dan kepraktisan produk yang diperoleh menggunakan angket ahli media, angket ahli materi, angket respons peserta didik, dan angket persepsi guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai validasi produk dari ahli media sebesar 3,63 dengan kategori sangat valid dan penilaian ahli materi sebesar 3,92 dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji kepraktisan yang didapatkan dari persepsi guru mendapatkan persentase sebesar 96,56% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan respons peserta didik mendapatkan persentase sebesar 88,96% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Authoring Tools pada pembelajaran Informatika kelas X sangat valid dan praktis.
