Abstract

Improving the quality of education in Vocational High Schools (SMK) is a strategic challenge in responding to the growing needs of the industrial world, especially in the Office Automation and Governance (OTKP) department. One solution that can be applied is the development of technology-based learning media, such as Android applications, to increase learner engagement and understanding. This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of Android-based learning media using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) at SMK OTKP Way Kanan. The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The results of material expert validation obtained an average score of 87.5% (very feasible category), and the results of media expert validation obtained a score of 85% (very feasible category). The small group trial showed an increase in the average score from 68.4 to 83.7, while the large group trial showed an increase from 66.2 to 85.1. The results of interviews and observations support these findings, showing an increase in enthusiasm, active participation, and student understanding of the material. Thus, the Android-based learning media developed proved effective in improving the quality of learning and can be used as a model for the development of similar media in other departments and levels in vocational education.

Abstract

This study explores integrating humanistic animated learning media with ecological education to improve elementary students’ reading interest. Drawing on principles of humanistic pedagogy, the intervention aimed to cultivate empathy, critical thinking, and environmental awareness while simultaneously stimulating literacy skills. A quasi-experimental design was employed with 217 participants, who engaged with animated stories centered on ecological themes. Data were collected using questionnaires, classroom observations, and interviews, and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results revealed that students exposed to the animated human-ecological content demonstrated significantly higher reading interest levels than their control group peers. Moreover, the narratives fostered a deeper engagement with ecological issues, highlighting the potential of digital media to address dual objectives of literacy development and value education. However, limitations of the study include the short intervention period, reliance on self-reported measures, and lack of long-term follow-up. These findings contribute to current literacy and environmental education debates by showing that combining humanistic approaches with multimedia can produce meaningful educational outcomes. Future research should extend this model across different cultural and socio-economic contexts, employ longitudinal designs, and assess broader cognitive and affective impacts. This study provides insights for educators, curriculum developers, and policymakers seeking innovative strategies to integrate literacy promotion with sustainable education goals.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan sistem pembelajaran daring ditinjau dari konteks (context), masukan (input), proses (process), dan hasil (product) pada Program Studi Pendidikan Profesi Guru FKIP Universitas Lampung. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan kuesioner (angket), wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Kuesioner (angket) disusun berdasarkan model evaluasi CIPP yaitu Context, Input, Process, dan Product dengan menggunakan skala likert yaitu dengan lima alternatif jawaban. Berdasarkan hasil Tingkat Pencapaian Responden (TPR), indikator context evaluation rata-rata 85,49 kategori baik, input evaluation rata-rata 85,49 kategori baik, indikator process evaluation rata-rata sebesar 85,49 kategori baik, dan indikator product evaluation rata-rata sebesar 87,64 kategori baik. Sehingga, sistem pembelajaran daring harus selaras dengan kebutuhan Program Studi Pendidikan Profesi Guru termasuk memahami karakteristik mahasiswa, kurikulum program, dan infrastruktur teknologi yang tersedia.  Sistem pembelajaran daring harus mencakup mekanisme evaluasi dan pemantauan yang efektif untuk mengukur kemajuan mahasiswa. Ketersediaan dan keandalan infrastruktur teknologi harus diperhatikan seperti akses internet, platform pembelajaran daring, dan perangkat keras pendukung lainnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk berupa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis web berbantuan Mengartikulasikan alur cerita pada materi Perakitan Komputer. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) yang mengadopsi model ADDIE, yang terdiri dari lima tahapan, yaitu Analysis (Analisis), Design (Desain), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), dan Evaluation (Evaluasi). Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 2 Lahat, khususnya pada siswa kelas X jurusan Teknik Jaringan Komputer dan Telekomunikasi (TJKT). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah evaluasi terhadap kevalidan dan kepraktisan produk melalui penggunaan angket yang dinilai oleh ahli media, ahli materi, siswa, dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai kevalidan produk dari ahli media mencapai 3,68 dengan kategori sangat valid, sedangkan penilaian dari ahli materi mencapai 3,67 dengan kategori sangat valid. Uji coba kepraktisan produk, yang ditinjau dari respon siswa, menghasilkan nilai persentase sebesar 89,49% dengan kategori sangat praktis, sementara persepsi guru mencapai nilai persentase sebesar 93,92% dengan kategori sangat praktis juga. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa pada materi Perakitan Komputer dengan lebih baik dan menarik.

Abstract

The development of this electronic module applies a discovery learning model using the fliphtml5 website as a media. This research aims to; 1) Describe the validity of the e-Module with the fliphtml5 assisted discovery learning model, the material of functions and color elements of CMYK and RGB class X Multimedia; 2) Describe the practicality of the e-Modul with a fliphtml5-assisted discovery learning model, material functions and color elements of CMYK and RGB class X Multimedia. This research uses research and development (Research and Development) with a Four-D (4D) development model which includes define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The subjects in this study were students of class X majoring in Multimedia at SMK Negeri 3 Metro. To find out the response of teachers and students to the e-Module functions and color elements of CMYK and RGB were obtained using the questionnaire method. The research results obtained include; 1) e-Module with discovery learning model on function and color elements of CMYK and RGB has met the validity criteria, namely the average value obtained from the material validity test, media validity test, and practitioner validity test of 89.79% with a very qualitative statement. good; 2) The results of the practicality test of e-Modules with the discovery learning model on the function and color elements of CMYK and RGB obtained an average value of 87.4% with a very good qualitative statement. Key Word :: e-Modul, Discovery Learning, FLIPHTML5

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of FlipaClip as a learning media, and to compare the problem-solving abilities of students who learn using FlipaClip and PowerPoint. This study employed the ADDIE development paradigm (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate) as a framework for research and development (R&D). The findings demonstrated the validity and viability of learning media that use a contextual approach to linear program content. With extremely valid criteria, the material validation findings came out at 84.38%. The validation results from media experts were 94.79%, which is considered highly valid. Although the student response received an assessment percentage of 83.64%, the response also met the FlipaClip-based learning media's "very interesting" requirements, indicating that it is practical to use. Moreover, the research shows that FlipaClip-based learning media on program material can improve the mathematical problem-solving ability of class XI students. Quantitatively, the difference is shown by the interpretation of N-Gain obtained in the experimental class, which is quite an effective category with a percentage of 70.22%. The average mathematical problem-solving ability of grade XI students who are given FlipaClip-based learning media is higher than the average student who is not given the media, as indicated by the results of the independent sample t-test, namely the Sig. (2- tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

Teacher leadership development is a strategic element in improving the quality of education, especially at the primary and secondary school levels. Along with the rapid digital transformation, technology-based training emerges as an innovative alternative to strengthen teachers' professional competencies on an ongoing basis. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of Android-based digital training media in improving teacher leadership skills, including aspects of classroom management, effective communication, and student motivation. The method used was mixed method with ADDIE development model, involving 100 teachers (experimental and control groups) and qualitative data through interviews and observations. Quantitative results showed a significant improvement in all three aspects of leadership skills after the training, with significant differences between the experimental and control groups (p < 0.05). Specifically, there was a 25% increase in classroom management, 30% increase in effective communication, and 28% increase in student motivation in the experimental group compared to the control group. Qualitative results supported these findings, with teachers reporting positive changes in classroom management practices and interactions with students. These findings confirm that Android-based digital training is effective in shaping teacher leadership that is adaptive, communicative, and responsive to 21st century learning needs. The integration of digital training is recommended as a strategy in teachers' continuous professional development programs.

Abstract

Emotional intelligence is an important component in learner development, especially in facing social and psychological challenges during adolescence. Counselling has a strategic role in helping students recognize, understand and manage emotions in a healthy way. However, traditional approaches to counselling services in schools often lack interactivity, making it difficult to actively engage students. With the development of technology, there is an opportunity to integrate technology-based learning modules in counselling guidance services to create a more interesting and applicable learning experience. This study aims to develop a technology-based interactive learning module using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model that focuses on improving students' emotional intelligence. The module is designed to strengthen students' emotional competencies, such as self-awareness, stress management, empathy, and social skills. The results showed that after the implementation of this technology-based module, there was a significant improvement in students' emotional intelligence, with an average score of 18% improvement in self-awareness competency, 22% in stress management, 19% in empathy, and 21% in social skills. In addition, 85% of students reported a more interactive and relevant learning experience, and 90% of teachers reported increased effectiveness in the implementation of counselling guidance. These findings make an important contribution to the development of learning media innovations for counselling guidance in the digital era.

Abstract

The digital era demands the integration of innovative learning media to develop 21st century skills. This study aims to develop E-LKPD-based learning media combined with the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model to improve learning outcomes, motivation, and collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The research used the ADDIE development model and was applied to class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Metro. The results showed that the use of PjBL-based E-LKPD significantly improved learning outcomes, with an average increase of 20 points and a p-value of 0.002. The N-gain value of the experimental group reached 0.78 (high category), while the control group was only 0.28 (low category). The effect size value of 1.3 indicates the large influence of the media on improving learning outcomes. 21st century skills also improved, with an average score of 4.2 in the experimental group compared to 3.1 in the control. As many as 85% of students stated that they were more enthusiastic and independent when learning. These findings indicate that the PjBL-based E-LKPD media is effective in supporting active learning, improving understanding, and shaping 21st century essential competencies. The implication of this research is the importance of integrating technology-based learning media to support independent learning curriculum, improve learning quality, and encourage active student engagement. Project-based learning and digital media can provide alternatives for teachers to be more effective in developing students' potential in an ever-evolving world.
