Abstract

Adolescents experience physiological and psychological growth to establish the basis for maturity. The biological well-being of adolescents requires improved nutrition. Intake of foods rich in micronutrients such as iron, zinc, and vitamin A, which are relevant to supporting biological metamorphosis in adolescents, can influence growth and well-being. The aim of this study is to holistically identify the main risk factors affecting adolescents that contribute to anemia in developing country developing.A systematic review was conducted following the guidelines provided by the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). The current review defines adolescents as individuals ranging in age from 10 to 19 years. A total of 2,252 articles were retrieved from the database, of which 618 duplicates were removed and 1,492 records were issued after filtering by title and abstract. 142 articles were fully assessed for notability, and 127 articles were also excluded based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Finally, 15 studies were included in the systematic review. The review showed that food intake practices, parasite infections, menstruation, the increasing age of adolescent girls, and the low educational status of guardians are the main risk factors for iron deficiency anemia among adolescents in most developing countries.

Abstract

One of the aspects which describes the services’ quality at the Health Center is reflected by the result of human resources’ performance as the service implementer. Many factors influence the employee’ performance at the Health Center in which among them are workload, motivation, leadership and Occupational Safety and Health (K3) The purpose of this study is to analyze factors that influence employee performance in community health centers. This article aims to review the available literature about the influence of the workload, motivation, leadership, and Occupational Safety and Health (K3) on the health centers employee’ performance. The methods used are Systematic Literature Review using channel Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Literature Review (PRISMA) by collecting articles from Google Scholar and PubMed databases with the keywords workload, motivation, leadership, and Occupational Safety and Health (K3). From the analysis results, 17 relevant articles are selected with the relevant criteria. The conclusion is that workload, motivation, leadership, and Occupational Safety and Health (K3) have a significant influence on health centers employee’ performance.

Abstract

Stunting is a major problem in Indonesia. Stunting can affect physical, mental, cognitive and intellectual development so that children are unable to learn optimally. Banyuasin Regency is ranked 3rd in toddlers who experience stunting out of 17 districts/cities in South Sumatra. Stunting control is carried out through specific interventions in the form of providing additional food (PMT), monitoring toddler growth, and providing infant and child food (PMBA). The aim of this research is to find out the knowledge, attitudes and behavior of cadres regarding providing additional food, monitoring the growth of toddlers, and feeding babies and children in stunting locus area. This type of research is quantitative with a quantitative research method with a cross-sectional approach. This research was conducted in 3 stunting locus sub-districts in Banyuasin Regency. In August-September 2024. The population in this study were all posyandu cadres in Banyuasin Regency. The sample in this study was 102 posyandu cadres with the Cluster random sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out descriptively. This study shows that there is a need to improve the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of community health cadres regarding monitoring child growth and providing supplementary feeding. Aspects that need to be strengthened include understanding of signs of growth disorders, age and gender criteria for recipients of supplementary feeding, and involvement in data collection and planning with nutritionists. Further training and closer collaboration are needed to improve program effectiveness.
