Abstract

This study is grounded in concerns regarding the prevailing educational orientation that predominantly emphasizes academic and cognitive achievement, while frequently neglecting affective, spiritual, and moral dimensions. Such an imbalance has contributed to diminished levels of empathy and social awareness among students. Accordingly, a more holistic educational model is required—one that harmoniously integrates intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence—conceptualized in this study as a love-based curriculum.. The purpose of this research is to examine the concept and implementation of a love-based curriculum from the perspective of spiritual and character education at Darussalam Simpang Limun Bangai Private Islamic Senior High School. The study employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive research design. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman interactive model, encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The validity of the findings was ensured through triangulation of both data sources and research methods. The findings indicate that the love-based curriculum is implemented through the integration of spiritual and character values into teaching and learning activities at the madrasah. Teachers play a pivotal role as moral exemplars, and their empathetic personal engagement significantly facilitates the internalization of love-based values among students. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including limited professional training for teachers and insufficient collaboration between the madrasah and parents. The study recommends systematic educator training and the comprehensive integration of love-based values across curricular components to strengthen the implementation of this educational model.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how the demonstrative approach is used in Madrasah Tsanawiyah to enhance students' comprehension of the Al-Qur'an Hadith content. The demonstration method is used to connect theory with practice, so that students not only memorize the texts of the Al-Qur'an and Hadith, but can also apply them in everyday life. The classroom action research (CAR) method used in this study was carried out in two cycles, each of which included planning, execution, observation, and reflection. Tests, interviews, and observation were used to gather data both before and after the demonstration approach was put into practice. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of the Al-Qur'an Hadith material, with 91.06% of students achieving learning mastery in the second cycle. The demonstration method has been proven effective in increasing student participation, learning motivation, and their social skills. However, this study is limited to one location and a small sample, so it is recommended to conduct further research with a more comprehensive design and a larger sample. This study contributes to the development of Islamic religious learning methods that are more applicable and interesting for students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers in shaping the character of students at SDN 131 Tanjung and to analyze how Islamic educational values are reflected in the learning process. Based on the results of interviews, teachers explained that their role is not limited to delivering material, but also includes guiding students' morals, character, and personality. Character building is carried out through role modeling, daily habits, and effective communication between teachers, parents, and the school environment. Teachers instill the values of honesty, discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and mutual respect through simple routines such as greetings, prayers, classroom discipline, and polite behavior. Role modeling is the most effective method because students tend to imitate what they see from their teachers. Obstacles encountered include differences in student character and a lack of support from some parents. This study also reviews the concept of education from an Islamic perspective, including the roles of mu'allim, murabbiy, mudarris, mu'addib, and mursyid as moral guides. Overall, the results of the study confirm that the role of teachers is crucial to the success of character building and the quality of learning, so teachers are required to be professional, moral, and inspiring educators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media visual sebagai motivasi belajar pada anak usia dini di RA Al Junaidiyah Kampung Lamo. Media pembelajaran ini sangat cocok dan sesuai digunakan dalam pembelajaran dari setiap jenjang pendidikan, salah satunya pada anak usia dini. Media pembelajaran ini akan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan dan meningkatkan motivasi anak usia dini. Salah satu jenis media pembelajaran yang sering digunakan adalah media visual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan objek penelitiannya adalah guru dan anak-anak di RA Al Junaidiyah. Peneliti menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian. Teknik pengecekan keabsahan penelitian menggunakan teknik trianggulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa di RA Al Junaidiyah Kampung Lamo sudah sering menggunakan media visual dalam proses pembelajaran. Media visual yang digunakan adalah poster dan gambar. Pemilihan media visual ini dilakukan berdasarkan tema pembelajaran dan usia anak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media visual ini sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak usia dini di RA Al Junaidiyah Kampung Lamo.
