Abstract

The purpose of this assistance is to provide a knowledge and practice basis for conducting authentic assessments and technical guidance in preparing and carrying out authentic assessments. Mentoring is done to improve the ability to conduct assessments, especially authentic assessments for teachers, so that teachers can understand and apply authentic assessments in the process of evaluating teaching and learning activities in schools. This place of assistance is at SMK Negeri 4 South Tangerang, the time of assistance on August 4 to Sept 1, 2018 the method used in the activities of the event include lectures, brainstorming, question and answer, workshops, assignments and live demonstrations. The mentoring results show that 80% the teacher of SMK Negeri 4 Tangerang understands the concept of authentic assessment as indicated by the work of the teacher in the form of test and non-test instruments which are reported to refer to authentic evaluation models of authentic evaluation rubrics. The results of this assistance were immediately reported to the principal and witnessed by the school supervisor as a facilitator

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat evaluasi menggunakan aplikasi Quizizz pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh pada kelas X DPIB dan KGSP di beberapa SMK se-DKI Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Developpment (RD) dengan model penelitian pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Evaluation). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan alat evaluasi Mekanika Teknik mendapatkan kelayakan ahli materi sebesar 85,88% dengan kategori sangat layak, ahli instrumen sebesar 80,62% dengan kategori layak, dan ahli bahasa sebesar 85,14% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil uji validitas isi ahli materi sebesar 0,823 yang termasuk kategori tinggi, validitas isi ahli instrumen sebesar 0,758 yang termasuk kategori sedang, dan validitas isi ahli bahasa sebesar 0,833 yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat evaluasi Mekanika Teknik menggunakan aplikasi Quizizz sudah sangat baik dalam mewakili suatu konstruk yang diukur sehingga dapat menunjang proses evaluasi pembelajaran jarak jauh pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik dengan efektif dan efisien.Development of a Hots-Based Evaluation Tool Using the Quizizz Application in Mechanical Engineering Subjects in Distance LearningAbstractThis research is a research and development that aims to develop evaluation tools using quizizz applications on engineering mechanics subjects in distance learning in class X DPIB and KGSP in several vocational schools in Jakarta. The research method used is Research and Development (RD) with addie development research model (Analysis, Design, Development, Evaluation). The results showed that the development of Technical Mechanics evaluation tools gained material expert eligibility by 85.88% with a very decent category, instrument experts by 80.62% with decent categories, and linguists by 85.14% with very decent categories. Test results validitas material expert content of 0.823 which belongs to the high category, the validity of the instrument expert content of 0.758 which belongs to the medium category, and the validity of the content of linguists by 0.833 which belongs to the high category. So itis concluded that the Engineering Mechanics evaluation tool using quizizz application has been very good in representing a construct measured so as to support the process of evaluation of distance learning in the subjects of Engineering Mechanics effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to improve students' ability to write scientific articles. Training and mentoring is carried out to improve students' ability to write scientific articles in journals and proceedings nationwide. This activity was conducted online using Zoom media and Youtube Education channel. Training and mentoring time from June 7 to October 30, 2020. Methods used are lectures, discussions, q&A and assignments online. This training was attended by 1,476 participants from various professions, but the target remains on students in bodetabek area. Training and devotion results show the average student's ability tends to be good at a score of 84.05 with some students reaching a score of 100, although some still score below 70

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop teaching material regarding research design in the Electronic Module-based Research Methodology course which consists of problems, theoretical basis, hypothesis submission, research methods and to find out the value of the effectiveness of electronic module teaching materials through limited distribution. This study uses a research and development research method (R&D) with the Thiagarajan 4D model. The results of the validation by material experts were 0,94 in the very high category, while the results of the validation by the media experts were 0,89 in the very high category. The limited trial results showed an increase in the average value of the pre test by 62,45 and post test by 78,53. Therefore, it can be concluded that the electronic module teaching materials for this electronic module can increase understanding in terms of material and are declared fit for use in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about problems in the learning process of the Land Surveying course in S1 majoring in Building Engineering Education, State University of Jakarta.The study was conducted in April to May 2019 with a data collection method in the form of a questionnaire / questionnaire with a simple random sampling technique consisting of 44 respondent students majoring in S1 Engineering Education Building in Jakarta State University. The results of the needs analysis show that; 86% of respondents have difficulty in learning materials contained in other sources due to incomplete material, explanatory techniques that are difficult to understand and others; 61% of respondents answered that they were not able to apply the material during the practicum after studying the Land Surveying II course from various sources they studied. In general, the results of this needs analysis can be used as a guideline in the design of teaching materials for Land Surveying II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa kebutuhan peserta didik terhadap pengembangan media pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Mekanika Bahan di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Analisa kebutuhan dilakukan berdasarkan tahapan pertama dari model Lee and Owens yaitu penilaian/analisis. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah analisa kebutuhan yang tujuan utamanya untuk mengidentifikasi kesenjangan antara kondisi aktual dan kondisi yang seharusnya. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dengan jenis data kualitatif. Kuesioner tersebut disebar menggunakan google form sehingga responden dapat mengisi kuesioner tersebut secara online. Periode pengisian kuesioner adalah tanggal 16 – 17 Mei 2019. Berdasarkan hasil analisa kebutuhan yang telah dilakukan, terdapat beberapa masalah pada media pembelajaran yang digunakan: (1) media pembelajaran yang digunakan biasa saja sehingga kurang memotivasi belajar, (2) materi pembelajaran termasuk materi yang sulit, namun pemahaman terhadap materi biasa aja, dan (3) materi pembelajaran yang digunakan masih berupa media presentasi.  Kata Kunci: Analisa Kebutuhan, Media Pembelajaran, Mekanika Bahan  ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the needs of students towards the development of learning media in Mechanics of Material Course in Education of Building Engineering, State University of Jakarta. The needs assessment is carried out based on the first stage of the Lee and Owens model, which is assessment/analysis. The result of this study is a needs assessment whose main purpose is to identify gaps between the actual conditions and the conditions that should be. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire with the qualitative data types. The questionnaire was distributed using google form so that the respondents can fill out the questionnaire online. The period for filling out the questionnaire is May 16th – 17th, 2019. Based on the results of the needs assessment that has been done, there are several problems in the learning media that are used: (1) learning media that are used is mediocre that it is less motivating to learning, (2) learning material including difficult material, but an understanding of the material is medium, and (3) learning material used is still in the form of presentation media.Keywords: Needs Assessment, Learning Media, Mechanics of Material

Abstract

The rise of the traffic volume which causes road damage due to heavy load and humidity, there must be an improvement to the quality of the road. This research uses Mount Merapi Volcanic Ash waste as a filler in The WearLayerMixture. The aim of this research is to examine if there is a difference between asphalt concrete that uses Mount Merapi Volcanic Ash as its filler and asphalt concrete that uses cement as its filler in terms of Marshall parameter. This research uses experimental method that examines Marshall parameter on five variations of asphalt level, which are 4%, 5%, 6%, 7% and 8% with 6 (six) samples of specimen on each variation. Marshall method resulting the maximum asphalt level at 6% percentage with it’s stability value which is 964,091 kilograms, flow value 3,1milimeters,Marshall Quotient (MQ) value 312,331 km/mm, Void in Mineral Aggregates (VMA) value 17,976%, Void Filled with Bitumen (VFB) value 69,939%,and Void In the Mix (VIM) value 4,947%. Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that the Mount Merapi Volcanic Ash can be used as a filler in The Wear Layer Mixture for heavy traffic class with 6% of asphalt level.

Abstract

Angka kecelakaan kerja di Indonesia cenderung terus meningkat setiap tahunnya, terlebih lagi 32% kasus kecelakaan kerja yang ada di Indonesia terjadi pada sektor kontruksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi adaptasi penerapan sistem manajemen keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (SMK3) pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian evaluasi dengan menggunakan model countenance stake yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan evaluasi yaitu antecedents, transaction, dan output. Perolehan data didapatkan melalui wawancara, penyebaran kuesioner, dan observasi/studi dokumentasi di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proyek Cisauk Point Apartment adaptasi SMK3 secara keseluruhan sudah cukup baik, namun masih banyak kriteria-kriteria yang belum terlaksana dengan baik di proyek tersebut, seperti; pembentukan satgas COVID-19, kerjasama secara resmi dengan fasilitas kesehatan, pencegahan saat akan memasuki site proyek, penyuluhan COVID-19 dalam safety morning talk, dan pengukuran suhu tubuh setiap hari.

Abstract

Limbah yang dihasilkan dari praktik kayu di jenjang pendidikan vokasi merupakan masalah yang terbilang besar dan berdampak bagi lingkungan selain itu terdapatnya ketidaksesuaian antara luas bengkel kayu dan tata letak perabotan atau alat kerja menjadikan proses belajar yang tidak efektif. Teknologi metaverse saat ini menjadi sesuatu topik yang sering dibicarakan dalam perkembangan dunia digital. Sebuah simulasi dunia digital yang dibuat atas pencitraan tiga dimensi dunia nyata yang menggunakan gabungan teknologi augmented reality, virtual reality, dan cryptocurrency di mana pengguna bisa saling berinteraksi, berkomunikasi, bekerja, dan bermain. Melalui urgensi yang ada metaverse berpotensi untuk diwujudkan sebagai sarana praktik kayu digital di masa depan. Sebuah simulasi dunia digital yang dibangun atas pencitraan tiga dimensi dunia nyatayang menggunakan gabungan teknologi augmented reality, virtual reality, dan cryptocurrency di mana pengguna bisa saling berinteraksi, berkomunikasi, bekerja, dan bermain.

Abstract

Scientific literacy as a part of the 21st century skill set has a strategic position at the vocational level in preparing graduates who are competent, ready to work, and have skills in communicating and collaboration in work. This study will provide an overview of the role of e-modules which are the most widely developed as teaching materials in improving the student’ scientific literacy skills.. The research method used is a literature review by analyzing 5 most relevant national publication articles using the Google Scholar database. The results of the analysis of 5 articles show that e-modules not only answer the challenges of education in responding to technology, but also proven to play an active role in improving the scientific literacy skills of SMK students including critical and creative thinking skills in order to solve the problem. The e-modules contains aspects of scientific literacy and can be integrated with various learning approach according to the characteristic of vocational student, such as Problem Based Learning (PBL), Socio-Scientific Issues (SSI), Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) and Problem Based Learning (PBL) by the related occurency in daily life to help student build abilities which support scientific literacy skills.
