Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment on employee performance at PT. Perdana Jaya Eternal Success Palembang. The number of samples in this study were 60 employees. The data collection technique in this study was using a questionnaire. The method of analysis in this study was simple linear regression analysis. Based on the Coefficient of Determination Test, the value of the coefficient of determination is 0.591. This means that the ability of the work environment (X) to employee performance (Y) is 59.1%. The results show that the work environment affects the performance of employees at PT. Perdana Jaya Eternal Success Palembang. The results of this study are expected to be used as a company evaluation to improve employee performance through the work environment.

Abstract

This study, which has a research period of 2019–2021, aims to determine the effect of Return on Investment (ROI), Economic Value Added (EVA) and Market Value Added (MVA) on stock returns in health sector companies and the telecommunications subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study used a purposive sampling technique, which produced 99 data. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively and the hypothesis was tested by means of multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 26. The results of the analysis showed that simultaneously the variables ROI, EVA and MVA had an influence on stock returns. Meanwhile, partially, the results show that Return on Investment has a positive effect on stock returns, while Economic Value Added and Market Value Added have no effect on stock returns.

Abstract

Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui korelasi antara kepuasan kerja, kecerdasan emosional, dan keterlibatan kerja, serta bagaimana faktor-faktor tersebut secara kolektif berdampak terhadap kinerja karyawan di Unit Pengembangan Utama PT PLN (Persero) Sumbagut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif dengan melakukan survEQ skala Likert kepada karyawa. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik PLS-SEM di SmartPLS. Prosedur ini meliputi pelaksanaan pengujian hipotesis, analisis inner dan outer model. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, terlihat adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara keterlibatan kerja, kecerdasan emosional, kepuasan kerja, dan kinerja karyawan. Selain itu, penelitian ini menekankan pengaruh tidak langsung keterlibatan kerja dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi oleh kepuasan kerja. Analisis ini menekankan pentingnya keterlibatan kerja, kecerdasan emosional, kepuasan kerja di lingkungan Unit Pengembangan Utama PT PLN (Persero) Sumbagut.

Abstract

Teknik klasifikasi teks dalam pemrosesan bahasa alami memegang peranan penting dalam mengelompokkan data digital ke dalam kategori yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Khususnya dalam bidang medis, klasifikasi teks klinis sangat penting untuk memahami dokumen medis, terutama teks klinis tentang kanker. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kinerja tiga varian algoritma Naive Bayes yaitu Multinomial, Bernoulli, dan Gaussian, pada data uji klinis kanker. Untuk mengoptimalkan kinerja algoritma, kami menggunakan pendekatan GridSearch dan cross-validation dengan k-fold (k=10). Pilihan algoritma memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap akurasi, presisi, recall, dan metrik kinerja lainnya. Melalui perbandingan varian Naive Bayes, kami dapat mengidentifikasi algoritma terbaik untuk dataset dan tugas klasifikasi teks klinis kanker. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Bernoulli Naive Bayes mencapai akurasi 0,79, presisi 0,88, dan recall 0,68. Sementara itu, Gaussian Naive Bayes mencapai akurasi 0,76, presisi 0,83, dan recall 0,65. Algoritma Multinomial Naive Bayes berhasil mencapai akurasi 0,80, presisi 0,84, dan recall 0,75. Penelitian ini memberikan panduan dalam memilih algoritma yang sesuai dengan tujuan dan prioritas klasifikasi. Hal ini dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut dalam bahasa alami medis dan proses pengambilan keputusan medis. Melalui pengetahuan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini, analisis teks medis dalam konteks klinis dapat dioptimalkan dengan lebih efektif.

Abstract

Pelatihan pemrograman Python untuk siswa SMK Inovasi Riau bertujuan untuk memberikan keterampilan dasar dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Python dan menyiapkan siswa untuk karir di bidang teknologi informasi. Materi yang diajarkan dalam pelatihan ini meliputi pengenalan dasar tentang bahasa pemrograman Python, konsep dasar pemrograman seperti variabel, tipe data, penggunaan modul dan pustaka standar dalam Python. Selain materi tersebut, pelatihan pemrograman Python juga akan mencakup latihan dan proyek praktis untuk membantu siswa memahami dan menguasai konsep-konsep yang diajarkan. Tujuan utama pelatihan ini adalah agar siswa dapat memahami dasar-dasar pemrograman Python sehingga mereka dapat membuat program sederhana dan mengembangkan keterampilan yang lebih tinggi dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak. Materi yang disajikan juga mencakup pemanfaatan Google Colab sebagai platform pengembangan yang efisien dan ramah pengguna, terutama bagi pemula dalam dunia pemrograman. Diharapkan pelatihan ini dapat membantu siswa mempersiapkan diri untuk menghadapi persaingan di dunia kerja di bidang teknologi informasi.

Abstract

Abstract: Workplace Spirituality and Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB): Employee Engagement Mediation. Objective:  The study aimed to analyze the role of employee engagement as a mediating variable in the relationship that occurs between workplace spirituality and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Methods: This research is explanatory, using structural equation modeling as a data analysis technique. Data were collected from teachers of state elementary schools in Langkat District, Deli Serdang District, and Medan City, where the total population was 19,096. By using the Slovin method, a sample was determined to be 391 people, from which the researchers selected teachers with the status of civil servant and government employees with employment agreements. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to research respondents, where the number of questionnaires declared valid was 247. Findings: The results showed that workplace spirituality and employee engagement have a positive effect on OCB; workplace spirituality has a positive effect on employee engagement; and employee engagement acts as a mediating variable in the relationship between workplace spirituality and OCB. Conclusion: Teachers, as an important element in the world of education, are required to always be engaged and show OCB, both towards students, colleagues and the school where they work. Abstract

This study examines how accounting information systems and e-commerce adoption affect the operational performance of MSMEs. As digital transformation and efficient financial reporting become increasingly important for business sustainability, this study investigates their role in enhancing MSME growth. Using a quantitative approach, this study collected data through a survey distributed to MSME owners in Surabaya, Indonesia. Multiple linear regression analysis, conducted using SPSS, showed that a robust accounting system significantly improved market expansion and sales performance. The findings highlight that the integration of digital tools in financial management and the utilization of e-commerce platforms can improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and overall competitiveness for MSMEs in today’s digital economy.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine and analyze the effect of workload on employee performance moderated by work motivation at PT Pelindo Multi Terminal (Persero) Belawan. This study uses an associative approach, namely research conducted, to determine the influence or relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The population and sample of this study are all employees at PT Pelindo Multi Terminal (Persero) Belawan, totaling 61 people. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the partial least square–structural inquiry model (PLS-SEM. Data processing in this study uses the PLS (Partial et al.) software program). The results of this study indicate that workload has a significant effect on employee performance and work motivation can moderate the effect of workload on employee performance at PT Pelindo Multi Terminal (Persero) Belawan

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in the Indonesian economy, including in job creation, improving people's welfare, and strengthening the national economic structure. One effective solution to address these challenges is through training on cost of goods produced (COGS) calculation and selling price determination. This study focuses on the training provided to MSMEs in Alai Village, with the aim of improving the understanding of business actors regarding the components of COGS and effective selling price setting strategies. The method used in this research is the field practice method which goes through three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results showed that participants gained better knowledge about COGS calculations and were able to set competitive selling prices, thereby increasing operational efficiency and profit margins. This was proven when researchers conducted periodic research at 2 stages, namely before the presentation of the material (pretest) and after the presentation of the material (posttest). Thus, this training makes a positive contribution to business sustainability and the economic welfare of local communities, increases the competitiveness of MSMEs, and has a positive impact on local economic growth

Abstract

The Indonesian Student Micro-Credentials Program implemented by Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) carries 5 courses, all of which are carried out online, in a relatively short time within 2 months. The learning objectives, which are intended to create practical skills, require students to master the courses they follow, thus causing many problems, which have an impact on the satisfaction of the participants of this program. This study aims to measure the customer satisfaction index (CSI) of participants in this program. Of the 514 participants who were used as respondents, 279 respondents filled out the google formula, and the response rate was 54%. The results showed that the CSI value of the program was 0.85, which means that the participants were very satisfied with the implementation of this program at UMSU. Based on the assessment of it is quality, the dimension assessment is carried out in order of the highest average value, namely this program (4.48), interaction and flexibility (4.33), managers (4.24), lecturers (4.23), students (4.20), assessment (4.16), process (4.14), content design (4.15), partners (4.11), and technology (4.05). Based on the assessment of the level of importance or expectation of this program, the dimension assessment is carried out in order of the highest average value, namely this program (4.47), interaction and flexibility (4.38), managers (4.23), lecturers (4.22), process (4.17), content design (4.17), students (4.13), peer (4.13), assessment (4.11) and technology (4.04).
