Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in the Indonesian economy, including in job creation, improving people's welfare, and strengthening the national economic structure. One effective solution to address these challenges is through training on cost of goods produced (COGS) calculation and selling price determination. This study focuses on the training provided to MSMEs in Alai Village, with the aim of improving the understanding of business actors regarding the components of COGS and effective selling price setting strategies. The method used in this research is the field practice method which goes through three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results showed that participants gained better knowledge about COGS calculations and were able to set competitive selling prices, thereby increasing operational efficiency and profit margins. This was proven when researchers conducted periodic research at 2 stages, namely before the presentation of the material (pretest) and after the presentation of the material (posttest). Thus, this training makes a positive contribution to business sustainability and the economic welfare of local communities, increases the competitiveness of MSMEs, and has a positive impact on local economic growth

Abstract

The Indonesian Student Micro-Credentials Program implemented by Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) carries 5 courses, all of which are carried out online, in a relatively short time within 2 months. The learning objectives, which are intended to create practical skills, require students to master the courses they follow, thus causing many problems, which have an impact on the satisfaction of the participants of this program. This study aims to measure the customer satisfaction index (CSI) of participants in this program. Of the 514 participants who were used as respondents, 279 respondents filled out the google formula, and the response rate was 54%. The results showed that the CSI value of the program was 0.85, which means that the participants were very satisfied with the implementation of this program at UMSU. Based on the assessment of it is quality, the dimension assessment is carried out in order of the highest average value, namely this program (4.48), interaction and flexibility (4.33), managers (4.24), lecturers (4.23), students (4.20), assessment (4.16), process (4.14), content design (4.15), partners (4.11), and technology (4.05). Based on the assessment of the level of importance or expectation of this program, the dimension assessment is carried out in order of the highest average value, namely this program (4.47), interaction and flexibility (4.38), managers (4.23), lecturers (4.22), process (4.17), content design (4.17), students (4.13), peer (4.13), assessment (4.11) and technology (4.04).

Abstract

Research aim: To examine the determinants of consumer repurchase intention in shopping for Muslim fashion online. Methods: Explanatory research using the Structural Equation Modeling method with the SmartPLS3 program. Research Findings: The results show that consumer satisfaction significantly affects consumer loyalty, which in turn mediates the relationship between consumer satisfaction and repurchase intention. E-WOM does not show a significant effect on repurchase intention either directly or through mediation. Theoretical Contribution: This study contributes to the e-commerce literature by revealing the relationship dynamics between consumer satisfaction, electronic word of mouth (e-WOM), customer loyalty, and repurchase intention on online platforms. Practical Implications: The results of this study provide strategic guidance for e-commerce business actors to increase customer loyalty as an important step in encouraging repeat purchases Research Limitations: This study is limited to the context of Muslim fashion online stores, so the results may not be generalizable to other products or different e-commerce platforms. Further research is needed to explore additional factors that can more comprehensively explain the relationship between consumer satisfaction and repurchase intention.

Abstract

Kata kunci: pengabdian masyarakat; uji petik BBM; alat berat; pengelolaan sampah; efisiensi operasional AbstractUrban waste management requires efficient operational support, particularly in terms of waste transportation and processing. One of the largest components of operational costs is the use of fuel oil (BBM). Inaccurate calculations of fuel oil requirements can potentially lead to budget inaccuracies, operational disruptions, and reduced public service effectiveness. This activity aims to assist partners in estimating the fuel requirements of heavy equipment through the application of fuel consumption sampling techniques. The implementation of this community service activity consists of three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the reporting stage. The results of the activity show that fuel consumption in heavy waste transportation equipment varies depending on the type of equipment, vehicle condition, and operating hours. The total daily fuel consumption of heavy equipment reached 1,368 liters, with excavators contributing the highest consumption. The implication of this activity is the importance of implementing a more measurable fuel management system based on sampling test data as a basis for budget planning and operational control. In addition, it is recommended that partners perform routine maintenance of heavy equipment and develop a sustainable fuel consumption monitoring system to improve the efficiency and accountability of waste management services. Keywords: community service; fuel sampling; heavy equipment; waste management; operational efficiency.
