Abstract

The main problems in this study are (1) How is the description of the needs of BK teachers regarding the E-BK administration information system based on Microsoft Access at SMK Negeri Majene. (2) How is the prototype of the E-BK administration information system based on Microsoft Access at SMK Negeri Majene. (3) How is the level of validity of the E-BK administration information system based on Microsoft Access at SMK Negeri Majene. (4) How is the practicality of the E-BK administration information system based on Microsoft Access at SMK Negeri Majene. This study was conducted by describing the R&D (Research & Development) approach using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Majene. The subjects of this study were 7 BK teachers and 10 students. Data collection techniques were by interview, observation and a trial questionnaire. The objectives of this study were (1) To describe the level of need for an E-BK administrative information system based on Microsoft Access at SMK Negeri Majene. (2) To understand the prototype of an E-BK administrative information system based on Microsoft Access at SMK Negeri Majene. (3) To measure the validity of an E-BK administrative information system based on Microsoft Access at SMK Negeri Majene. (4) To determine the level of practicality of an E-BK administrative information system based on Microsoft Access at SMK Negeri Majene. The results of the study indicate that (1) BK teachers need an administration system that can facilitate service recording, as well as student data management. (2) The prototype system developed contains student data input features, a simple and easy-to-use BK service recording. (3) The validation results show that the system has a high validation level with an average assessment of 90% by material experts and media experts. (4) The practicality test shows that this system is very helpful and easy to use by BK teachers, with a practicality score reaching 85%. Thus, the E-BK system based on Microsoft Access is declared valid and practical to be used as a tool in managing the administration of guidance and counselling services at SMK Negeri 2 Majene.

Abstract

The effect of ICI (Intra Communication Integrative) based group counseling on reducing career anxiety among students at SMA Negeri 1 Batauga. The method used is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, involving 20 students divided into experimental and control groups. Data were collected through observation, a career anxiety scale, and documentation. The results indicate that students' career anxiety was at a high level before the intervention. After receiving ICI-based group counseling, there was a significant reduction in the level of career anxiety among students. Statistical analysis shows that ICI-based group counseling is effective in helping students manage their career anxiety, with a shift from a high category to a moderate category. These findings emphasize the importance of an intrapersonal communication approach in counseling to enhance self-awareness and students' confidence in planning their career futures.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze smoking behavior among students at UPT SPF SMP Negeri 8 Makassar and the efforts to address it. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving two subjects, namely students with the initials DP and RPS, who have been identified as having smoking behavior. Data were collected through interviews and observations, and analyzed descriptively using triangulation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the smoking behavior of both students is perceived as normal and enjoyable, with consumption reaching one pack per day. Factors influencing this behavior include the desire for recognition, peer influence, and imitation from parents. The handling of smoking behavior was conducted through cognitive restructuring techniques consisting of six stages: rationalization, identification of thoughts, introduction and training of coping thoughts, shifting negative thoughts, positive reinforcement exercises, and evaluation. After the intervention, there was a change in thinking from irrational to rational, which is expected to reduce students' smoking behavior.

Abstract

Passing is one of the fundamental techniques in football. Good passing skills enable players to participate in the game effectively and maintain possession of the ball. Paired short passing drills also help improve individual skills. This research aims to find out whether short passing training in pairs can increase the accuracy of soccer passing in adolescent soccer players. The quantitative method used in the research is a pre-experimental design through one group pretest and posttest. The research instrument used a ball passing accuracy test for 30 seconds and used the short passing practice method in pairs. The population in this study consisted of 20 male Rekminers Club soccer players aged 15-17 years. The sample was selected using a total sampling technique, and the entire population sampled was 20 players. The data analysis technique uses the t-test to test the hypothesis to increase soccer passing accuracy in the pretest and posttest treatment using SPSS version 26. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test in paired short passing exercises with football passing accuracy ability, there is a significant influence based on pretest and posttest data analysis of 0.000 < 0.05. This exercise was successfully carried out to improve the accuracy of football passing. The research results show that short passing training in pairs is an effective method for improving the passing accuracy of football players.

Abstract

Rendahnya explosive power tungkai menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang menyebabkan performa jump service belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran explosive power tungkai sebagai determinan performa jump service pada permainan bola voli. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 583 siswa (273 putra dan 310 putri), dengan sampel sebanyak 32 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan pertimbangan kemampuan dasar permainan bola voli. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes vertical jump sebagai pengukur explosive power tungkai, serta tes kemampuan jump service untuk menilai performa teknik servis lompat. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa explosive power tungkai memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan terhadap performa jump service, ditunjukkan oleh nilai r = 0,668 dengan taraf signifikan 0,005 < 0,05. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,446 mengindikasikan bahwa explosive power tungkai memberikan kontribusi sebesar 44,6% terhadap performa jump service, sementara 55,4% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh komponen kondisi fisik dan faktor teknis lainnya. Jika dipetakan dalam kategori korelasi, hubungan antara kedua variabel berada pada kategori kuat. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa explosive power tungkai merupakan determinan penting yang memengaruhi performa jump service dalam permainan bola voli.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) dalam menerapkan pendekatan Deep Learning melalui layanan konseling di sekolah, khususnya dalam upaya memperkuat kemandirian belajar siswa pada Guru- BK yang tergabung PC ABKIN Kab Takalar. Metode Kegiatan dilaksanakan menggunakan desain Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang bersifat kolaboratif dan berfokus pada partisipasi aktif mitra, dengan tahapan dimulai dari tahap koordinasi dan sosialisasi, tahap pelatihan melalui ceramah, diskusi, dan simulasi, Tahap penerapan teknik Deep Learning dalam praktik konseling, Tahap pendampingan serta evaluasi serta tahap perencanaan keberlanjutan program, Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan analisis persentase. Hasil program menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini sangat relevan dan dibutuhkan oleh mitra, tercermin dari tingginya kebutuhan peserta terhadap materi Deep Learning (73,5%) serta peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan (61,8% kategori tinggi). Selain itu, 64,7% peserta menilai bahwa materi pelatihan memiliki relevansi sangat tinggi dengan permasalahan nyata di sekolah, sehingga pendekatan ini dapat menjadi inovasi efektif untuk menghadapi kompleksitas permasalahan siswa. Penerapan teknik Meaningful, Mindful, dan Joyful Learning juga terbukti meningkatkan kemampuan peserta dalam merancang layanan BK yang lebih kreatif, kontekstual, dan berorientasi pada penguatan kemandirian belajar. Secara keseluruhan, PKM ini menyimpulkan bahwa pelatihan Deep Learning dalam konseling mampu memperkuat kompetensi profesional guru BK dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan mutu layanan BK di sekolah.

Abstract

The flipped classroom learning model has become a pedagogical innovation widely applied in modern education, primarily due to its ability to encourage active student engagement and enhance learning independence. This literature review aims to determine the effectiveness of flipped classrooms in improving students' self-regulated learning based on 10 empirical studies published in the 2019–2024 period. Articles were obtained from Google Scholar, ERIC, Scopus, and ScienceDirect databases with the inclusion criteria of studies examining flipped classrooms and learning independence in secondary and higher education contexts. The synthesis results indicate that flipped classrooms improve students' time management skills, learning strategy planning, self-reflection, intrinsic motivation, and self-efficacy. Pre-class activities through videos or digital modules have been shown to strengthen students' roles as independent learners, while face-to-face activities based on discussion and problem-solving enhance metacognitive abilities. However, successful implementation is influenced by technological readiness, digital literacy, the quality of pre-class materials, and teacher competence in designing interactive learning. This study confirms that flipped classrooms are effective in improving learning independence, but require technological support and thorough process planning to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a valid, reliable, and practical Google Forms-based The Influence of Collaborative Project Play Crafting on the Social Interaction Skills of Children with Autism at Athirah Makassar Inclusive Elementary School. Thesis. Guidance and Counseling Study Program. Graduate Program. Universitas Negeri Makassar (supervised by Abdul Saman and Parwoto). This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of collaborative project play crafting on the social interaction skills of autistic children in inclusive elementary schools, and (2) the changes in the social interaction skills of autistic children before and after participating in the collaborative project play crafting activities. This research uses a quantitative approach with the Single Subject Research (SSR) design A-B-A method. Data collection techniques were carried out through direct observation and portfolio studies, with instruments developed based on the Social Skills Rating System (SSRS) indicators. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, both within conditions and between conditions. The results of the study show that: (1) collaborative project play crafting has a significant effect on improving the social interaction skills of autistic children. This is evidenced by the increase in scores during the intervention phase (B) compared to the initial baseline phase (A1), as well as the stability of scores in the final baseline phase (A2), indicating that the intervention effect is lasting; (2) there were significant changes between baseline condition A1, intervention B, and baseline A2. In Baseline A1, children displayed low social skills (average scores of 2.0–2.5), but this increased to 3.5–3.8, in baseline A2, particularly in the areas of cooperation, social initiative, and responses to social stimuli. Therefore, this intervention is effective in improving the social interaction skills of autistic children in an inclusive educational environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of applying behavioral counseling with modeling techniques to improve the self-confidence of eleventh-grade students with intellectual disabilities at SLB As’Adiyah Cabenge, Soppeng Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach with an A-B-A-B Single Subject Research (SSR) experimental design. Data collection techniques involved observation sheets in the form of a checklist assessment scale during the experiment (Baseline B1-B2) intervention when applying behavioral counseling techniques with modeling techniques. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, both within and between conditions. The results showed that the application of behavioral counseling with modeling techniques had a significant impact on increasing the self-confidence of students with intellectual disabilities. This was evident from the increase in scores during the intervention phase (B1) compared to the initial baseline phase (A1), as well as the stability of scores in the final baseline phase (A2), indicating that the intervention effect was sustainable. Repeated intervention in phase (B2) also showed higher score increases compared to baseline phase 2 (A2). There were clear changes between baseline A1, intervention B1, baseline A2, and intervention B2. At baseline A1, students showed low self-confidence (average score 50), but then increased to 55.7–72 in the B1 intervention phase. The sustainability of the intervention effect was observed in the baseline A2 phase, where the obtained score of 55.7 increased to 61.5. Subsequently, the intervention (B2) was repeated, resulting in a score increase from 61.5 to 75. Thus, this intervention was effective in increasing the self-confidence of students with intellectual disabilities at SLB As’Adiyah Cabenge, Soppeng Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of gratitude journals on self-acceptance among female adolescents with negative body image at SMA Negeri 5 Makassar. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group, involving 10 subjects in the experimental group who received intervention for 14 days and 10 subjects in the control group who did not receive intervention. Data were collected using Berger's self-acceptance scale and Thomas F. Cash's Multidimensional Body Self Relations Questionnaire-Appearance Scale (MBSRQ-AS) for body image. Data analysis was performed using paired sample t-tests and independent sample t-tests. The results showed a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores in the experimental group (p = 0.002 < 0.05) with an average score increase from 67.30 to 78.00. In addition, the results of the independent sample t-test showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups in the post-test (p = 0.027 < 0.05), where the average score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group. These findings indicate that gratitude journals have a positive effect on the self-acceptance of adolescent girls with negative body image.
