Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui kegiatan pengembang teknologi pembelajaran bagi guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di SMA N 1 Padang. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalah yang ditemui bahwa guru SMA N 1 yang Padang memiliki kelemahan dalam bidang teknologi sejumlah guru belum mampu dan paham dalam menggunakan berbagai perangkat teknologi yang dapat menunjang kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian bertujuan guna mengetahui kegiatan pengembang teknologi pembelajaran bagi guru dalam peningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di SMA N 1 Padang. Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini yaitu penelitian mix method. Instrument yang digunakan yaitu berupa wawancara dan angket. Narasumber dan responden dalam penelitian ini yaitu wakil kepala sekolah sebagai guru penggerak, guru senior dan guru muda yang paham teknologi untuk tahap wawancara dan seluruh guru yang berjumlah 56 orang sebagai responden pengisian angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kualitatif dapat dilihat bahwa masih banyak guru yang menemukan tantangan baik dalam mengembangan dan menggunakan media pembelajaran maupun model pembelajaran dan masih banyak guru yang tidak mendapatkan pelatihan-pelatihan atau workshop terkhususnya mengenai pengembangan media pembelajaran dan model pembelajaran di sekolah. Hanya satu guru yang memiliki jabatan sebagai guru penggerak, yang mana guru penggerak itu sendiri sangat dibutuhkan di sekolah sebagai fasilitator yang dapat memberikan pelatihan-pelatihan kepada guru lainnya baik dalam mengembangkan media atau model pembelajaran, dan lain sebagainya yang dapat menunjang kompetensi guru sehingga menghasilkan kualitas pembelajaran yang baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kuantitatif dilihat bahwa hasil rata-rata maupun persentase yang diperoleh pada setiap jawaban pernyataan yang diisi oleh guru sudah menunjukkan bahwa guru sudah sangat baik dalam menggunakan kegiatan analisis serta pengkajian model teknologi pembelajaran (90%), perancangan model teknologi pembelajaran (91,60%), produksi media pembelajaran (91,52%), implementasi (90,78%), pengendalian model pembelajaran (87,08%), serta evaluasi penerapan model pemanfaatan media pembelajaran (88,89%).

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' perception of the use of the testportal website as a learning outcome evaluation tool. This type of research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used the purposive sampling technique and the research sample was 56 students in class X at SMA Negeri 1 Padang. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with a total of 40 questions distributed through a google form. The analysis technique used was percentage and chi squared with a significance level of 5% (=0.05). The results of the study show that first, students' perception of the use of the testportal website is good with a percentage of 76.5. Second, the testportal website as a learning outcome evaluation tool is good with a percentage of 80.33%. Third, there was a significant relationship between students' perception of the use of the testportal website and the testportal website as a tool for evaluating learning outcomes with the value of the table count of 40.12>>9488. It can be concluded that students' perception of the use of the testportal website as a tool for evaluating learning outcomes in class X informatics subjects is good

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the obstacle factors faced by teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum in Middle Schools. The obstacle factors analyzed were reviewed from several aspects adapted to the literature, namely; Aspects of teacher understanding of the philosophy and objectives of the Independent Curriculum, aspects of teacher pedagogical skills, aspects of teacher technology readiness, aspects of collaboration between teachers, aspects of administrative support, aspects of parent participation, aspects of resource availability. The research uses a qualitative survey approach with a case study design. This research involves selected teachers as participants, who provide in-depth insight through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The research results show that aspects of teacher understanding of the philosophy and objectives of the Independent Curriculum with a percentage of 83.60%, aspects of teacher pedagogical skills with a percentage of 85.20%, aspects of teacher technology readiness with a percentage of 79.33%, aspects of collaboration between teachers with a percentage of 84.27 %, administrative support aspect with a percentage of 85.73%, parental participation aspect with a percentage of 86.27%, resource availability aspect with a percentage of 85.33%. This research provides a foundation for changing educational policies and approaches to address these barriers. Conclusions emphasize the need for better training, consistent administrative support, and strengthened collaboration between teachers, school officials, and parents to ensure successful implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Secondary Schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the application of beekeeping curriculum in improving the knowledge of learning citizens in the honey bee school program in the village of muara sikabaluan, Mentawai Islands. The sample used in this study amounted to 25 people. The research was conducted using one group pretest-posttest method and analyzed using Shapiro-Wilk test and statistical test with paired sample T test. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest, the application of the beekeeping curriculum was able to significantly improve the knowledge and skills of learning citizens with an average of 2.35 to 3.30. Furthermore, based on the results of the paired sample T-test, it is concluded that the beekeeping curriculum has a significant effect on increasing the knowledge of learning citizens. This shows that the beekeeping curriculum has a positive and significant effect on increasing the knowledge and skills of learning citizens. With this increase in knowledge, it is expected that the community will be able to protect the forest area and utilize the forest in developing non-timber forest products (HHBK)

Abstract

Technological advances must be incorporated into the learning process. It is crucial to develop integrated learning models that incorporate learning media in the context of English language learning. This development entails the creation of an English learning model based on audiovisual content. This research aims to develop Archery's ID Model-based audiovisual media as valid, practical, and effective for teaching Procedure Text to 10th-grade vocational high school students. The proposed model is centered on utilizing audiovisual content in the form of projects. This research employs a research and development method based on the ADDIE model, encompassing the following stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data obtained from the audiovisual media trial comprises both quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data was collected through questionnaires distributed to test subjects. Quantitative data was also obtained from the completion of questionnaires by media validators, material validators, language validators, and students. Following the validation of the instrument by the validator, several further tests were conducted, namely a validity test, a reliability test, and an N-Gain determination.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of applying the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in enhancing a collaborative learning environment and student learning outcomes in the IPAS subject for grade III at SDN 01 Lubuk Alung. The identified issue is the lack of collaboration among students during the learning process, which affects the low learning outcomes. The learning model previously used was less supportive of active student interaction in understanding the material. This type of research is quantitative research with a Quasi-Experimental approach. The population of this study is the third-grade students of SDN 01 Lubuk Alung. The research sample consists of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class, each consisting of 25 students. The data collection technique used achievement tests that were analyzed using a t-test. The research results show that the calculated t-value = 5.34 and the tabel t-value = 2.01 at a significance level of α = 0.05, which means the calculated t-value is greater than the tabel t-value (calculated t > tabel t). Thus, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted and there is a significant effect of the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model to improve the collaborative learning environment in the IPAS subject of grade III SD 01 Lubuk Alung. The application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model to enhance the collaborative learning environment has proven to be effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by PhET simulations on student learning outcomes in science subjects of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. The method used in this study is quantitative with a quasi-experimental approach through a nonequivalent control group design. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique totaling 64 regular class students (32 students in the experimental class and 32 students in the control class). The research instruments used were pre-test and post-test totaling 20 multiple-choice questions that had previously been tested for validity, reliability, discrimination power and difficulty level of the questions. Then, data analysis in this study used a t-test to test the hypothesis and prerequisite tests in the form of normality and homogeneity tests. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant difference between the average value of student learning outcomes who participated in learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by PhET simulations, namely 78.59 higher than conventional learning, namely 64.84. Meanwhile, the results of the t-test analysis showed that tcount > ttable, namely 0.412 > 2.000 for a significance level of ? 0.05. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by PhET simulations has an effect on improving student learning outcomes in the natural science of class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan PhET simulations terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi experiment melalui desain nonequivalent control group design. Penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang berjumlah 64 siswa kelas reguler (32 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 32 siswa kelas kontrol). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-test dan post-test yang berjumlah 20 butir soal pilihan ganda yang sebelumnya telah di uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji daya beda dan tingkat kesukaran soal. Kemudian, análisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji t untuk menguji hipotesis dan uji prasyarat berupa uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan PhET simulations yaitu 78,59 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional yaitu 64,84. Sedangkan hasil análisis uji t-test diketahui thitung > ttabel yaitu 0,412 > 2,000 untuk taraf signifikan  0,05. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini terbukti bahwa penggunaan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan PhET simulations berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Linggo Sari Baganti.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the ABK-KU application as a digital instrument to support practical, accurate, and sustainable assessment of the development of students with special needs. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE  (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. Subjects in this study consisted of three expert validators, 16 teachers for the practicality test, and 36 teachers for the effectiveness test. Data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively using percentages and statistical tests of N-Gain Score and Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The results of validation by material, media, and language experts show that this application has a high level of feasibility of 88.85%. The average percentage of practicality assessment of the ABK-KU Application obtained a percentage of 92% in the very practical category. The results of the pretest and posttest obtained the average N-Gain score of 0.8356 (83.56%), while the results of the Wilcoxon signed-rank test showed that Z count was -5.234 and the significance value was 0.001. These results show that ABK-KU is easy to use by teachers and can present child development data in a structured and systematic manner, and provide program recommendations from the assessment results automatically. ABK-KU is worth using as an alternative innovative solution to support the assessment of the development of students with special needs in special schools.

Abstract

Digital pedagogical competency is crucial for teachers in today’s digital age, enabling them to harness technology effectively in the learning process. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence digital pedagogy competence among elementary school teachers. The factors studied involve Content Knowledge (CK), Pedagogical Knowledge (PK), Technology Knowledge (TK), Technological Content Knowledge (TCK), Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK), Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK), and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK). The research employed a quantitative survey approach with regression analysis through the use of questionnaires to teachers as respondents. The research results show that teachers demonstrate strengths across several indicators, such as Content Knowledge (CK) of 80.89%, Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) of 79.11%, and Technology Knowledge (TK) of 82.89%, Technological Content Knowledge (TCK) of 84.52 % and Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK) of 85.11%. The Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) indicator reached 83.04%, while that of the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) was 84.44%. The findings of this research provide an in-depth understanding of the state of digital competence among elementary school teachers. Identifying teacher successes and highlighting gaps that need further attention is an important part of this research. Apart from that, this research also discusses the impact of teachers' digital pedagogy competencies on student learning outcomes and their preparation for facing the digital era. This research constitutes a significant contribution to understanding and improving teachers' digital pedagogy competencies to support optimizing technology in the learning process in the current digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) produce a procedural model for developing video media for multisensory-ecology-based science learning tutorials that can improve the cognitive abilities of Group A kindergartens; (2) describing the validity of the multisensory-ecology-based science learning video tutorial media; and (3) knowing the effect of video tutorial media in science learning based on multisensory-ecology for cognitive improvement in group A kindergarten children in Kecamatan X Koto, Tanah Datar District, West Sumatra. The method used in this research is research and development, which was adapted from the Borg, Gall & Gall model. The study was conducted from 2018 to 2019 involving 4 kindergartens in District X Koto, Tanah Datar District, West Sumetera. The results were obtained as follows: (1) a procedural model for developing video tutorials science learning media based on multisensory-ecological that can improve the cognitive abilities; (2) Video tutorial media produced have been validated by experts and users by a number of revisions according to expert and user recommendations; and (3) there is an influence of based on multisensory-ecology video learning tutorial media on cognitive improvement. It can be concluded that the video tutorial media is appropriate to be used as a companion media based multisensory-ecology  science learning materials to enhance cognitive of Group A kindergarten children. AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan: (1) menemukan model prosedural pengembangan media video tutorial pembelajaran sains berbasis multisensori ekologi yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak Taman Kanak-kanak kelompok A; (2) mendeskrpsikan  validitas  media video tutorial pembelajaran sains berbasis multisensori ekologi; dan (3)  menemukan pengaruh media video tutorial dalam pembelajaran sains berbasis multisensori ekologi terhadap kemampuan kognitif anak Taman Kanak-kanak kelompok A di kecamatan Kecamatan  X Koto Kabupaten Tanah Datar Sumatera Barat.  Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan, yang  diadaptasi dari model Borg, Gall & Gall. Penelitian dilaksanakan  sejak tahun 2018 sampai 2019 dengan melibatkan  4 Taman Kanak-kanak  di Kecamatan X Koto Kabupaten Tanah Datar, Sumetera Barat. Hasil penelitian diperoleh sebagai berikut: (1) tersusun sebuah model prosedural pengembangan media video tutorial pembelajaran sains berbasis multisensori ekologi yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak; (2) Media video tutorial yang dihasilkan telah divalidasi pakar dan pengguna dengan dilakukan beberapa revisi sesuai saran pakar dan pengguna; dan (3) terdapat pengaruh media video tutorial  pembelajaran sains berbasis multisensori ekologi ekologi terhadap peningkatan kognitif anak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media video tutorial layak digunakan  sebagai media pendamping bahan pembelajaran sains berbasis multisensori ekologi untuk menigkatkan kognitif anak Taman Kanak-kanak kelompok A.
