At present, the scientific community really needs such a device, especially in the field of nanotechnology, robot technology, artificial intelligence, medicine and military. Biometric normally used in the form of authentification, including Introduction to Fingerprint, Face Recognition, Recognition Retina or Iris, Geometry Arm, Geometry Finger, introduction of Palms, Voice Recognition, Introduction to Signatures, DNA (Deoxyribonucleic Acid), Thermal Imaging (Body Temperature), Shape Ear, Body Odor, Body Movement. The data used in this study include secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and other related sources. This research provides significant contributions to understanding the factors influencing poverty in the area, which can serve as a basis for policy formulation to reduce poverty. Potential policies include improving the quality of education, creating new job opportunities, and promoting inclusive economic growth. Improving the quality of education is expected to enhance the skills and competitiveness of the workforce, while the creation of new jobs can reduce the unemployment rate. Abstract

An increase in the economy's ability to produce goods and services within a certain period of time is called economic growth. The number of workers, investment and household consumption are the main components that influence economic growth. These three factors are interrelated and play a role in determining the level of economic growth of a region. An increase in one of these factors can encourage the other two, creating a positive circle supporting sustainable economic growth. However, how these three components impact economic growth is also influenced by government policy and economic stability. Therefore, to achieve optimal economic growth, a balanced strategy is needed that considers these three components. This study aims to understand how the economic development of Bali Province is influenced by various variables, such as investment, number of workers, and household consumption. Researchers use quantitative methods.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively examine the impact of various corporate governance and financial factors—specifically company size, leverage as indicated by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), the presence of an independent board of commissioners, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and voluntary disclosure—on the cost of equity capital in transportation and logistics companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period from 2019 to 2023. The research adopts a purposive sampling technique to select relevant companies, focusing on a population of 37 firms within this sector over the specified timeframe. Data analysis is conducted using both descriptive and verificative approaches, with hypothesis testing carried out through multiple linear regression analysis to determine the relationships between these variables and the cost of equity capitalThe results of the study reveal that company size exerts a significant partial influence on the cost of equity capital, indicating that larger companies may benefit from lower equity costs. In contrast, DER, the independent board of commissioners, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and voluntary disclosure, when considered individually, do not significantly affect the cost of equity capital. However, when these variables are considered together, they collectively exert a significant influence on the cost of equity capital. These findings provide critical insights for corporate management and investors, emphasizing the need to consider both company size and the combined effect of governance and ownership structures when assessing the cost of equity financing in the transportation and logistics industry.  Keywords: Company Size, Leverage, Independent Board of Commissioners, Managerial Ownership, Institutional Ownership, Voluntary Disclosure, and Cost of Equity Capital.
