Abstract

This study aims to explore the development of a Total Quality Management (TQM)-based management model at MTs Darul Amin Palangka Raya through the lived experiences of stakeholders. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, the research delves into how teachers, administrators, and parents perceive, interpret, and enact TQM within an Islamic educational framework. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 15 informants, participatory observation, and documentation analysis over six months, with attention to the essence of their subjective experiences. The findings reveal that the implementation of the TQM model at MTs Darul Amin Palangka Raya is influenced by five key dimensions: transformative leadership, stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement, data-driven decision making, and integration of Islamic values in management. Participants described these dimensions not merely as managerial tools but as meaningful practices tied to Islamic concepts like amanah (trustworthiness) and itqan (excellence). Challenges such as resistance to change and resource limitations emerged as shared lived realities among stakeholders. The study culminates in an "Integrated Islamic Quality Management Model" (IIQMM), which reflects how TQM is experienced and contextualized in the madrasah environment. This research contributes to Islamic education management by uncovering the intersubjective meanings of TQM implementation, offering a model that harmonizes modern quality principles with Islamic values. The phenomenological lens highlights how stakeholders co-construct quality as both an organizational and spiritual endeavor.

Abstract

Dalam implementasinya, Kurikulum Merdeka mendorong penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi (differentiated learning) sebagai pendekatan utama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran guru dalam menerapkan differentiated learning pada kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka (literature review), yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menyintesis informasi dari berbagai sumber literatur terkait peran guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Peran guru dalam Kurikulum Merdeka sangat sentral, terutama dalam menerapkan pendekatan differentiated learning yang menuntut guru untuk lebih responsif terhadap kebutuhan belajar siswa yang beragam, baik dari segi kesiapan, minat, maupun profil belajar mereka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan multimedia interaktif menggunakan Macromedia flash yang layak dan efektif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas V. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini mengacu pada langkah 4D yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan, Semmel & Semmel, yaitu: (a) Define, (b) Design, (c) Development (d) Dissemination. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MI Istiqomah Sambas Kabupaten Purbalingga. Subjek uji coba lapangan dilakukan di kelas V dengan jumlah kelas eksperimen sebanyak 27 siswa dan kelas kontrol sebanyak 32 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan non tes. Tes dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan soal evaluasi, non tes dilakukan dengan menggunakan pedoman wawancara dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan independent sample t-test dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan penilaian dari ahli media, bahasa dan materi berkategori “sangat valid” dan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata validasi ahli 4,41 dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil respon guru 4,5 dan respon siswa 4,3 dengan kategori “sangat baik” berdasarkan kriteria rata-rata respon siswa. Hasil uji gain memperoleh skor 0,38 dengan kategori sedang, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang efektif dalam meningkatkan prestasi siswa dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia interaktif menggunakan macromedia flash layak dan efektif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This paper presents the ambiguity of the term ekāyana in the Satipaṭṭhānasutta in the light of inclusivism and exclusivism perspectives. Ekāyana is a familiar term in Buddhist Studies and Satipaṭṭhānasutta is a well well-known text in the Theravada insight meditation cycle. Ekāyana can be rendered in various ways according to the subjectivity and interpretation of each translator; thus, the term is ambiguous. This paper highlights the problem of Buddhist translation studies through analytical studies on several translations of the term. According to comparative analytical studies on different translations of ekāyana in the Satipaṭṭhānasutta, the researcher finds that interpretivism in translation is inevitable because finding the real meaning of a Buddhist term is an impossible task. Understandably, a translator of Buddhist texts imposes his interpretations when translating from ancient times until the present.

Abstract

Sales made manually become a problem for entrepreneurs who move especially in the culinary field. The reason is that it is less effective and efficient because recording and sales sometimes experience things in the form of missed calculations made by a human as well as factors such as lost or damaged manual records. This is also experienced by Warung Jus Khupi 7 where the sales system is still using manual methods when processing data in sales transactions. The development of information technology becomes a point of solution to the problems that exist in the business of juice stalls Khupi 7 engaged in culinary, especially the sale of coffee than needed a system with a user interface in the form of Point of Sale applications that can provide convenience to business owners and workers in conducting sales transactions and data processing of goods and making reports. Abstract

Background: This research examines the strategic role of KMA 450/2024 (Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs Number 450 of 2024) in building a moderate Muslim generation and preventing radicalism through madrasah ibtidaiyah education in Indonesia. With the largest Muslim population globally, Indonesia faces challenges from religious radicalism, particularly among youth aged 15-30 years who are vulnerable to radical ideologies spreading through digital platforms. Method: Using a qualitative descriptive approach based on document analysis, this research examines how radicalism prevention strategies are integrated into KMA 450/2024, what strategies are developed to build a moderate Muslim generation, and the implications for madrasah ibtidaiyah education. The findings reveal that KMA 450/2024 integrates radicalism prevention and religious moderation through three main dimensions: the integration of P5RA (Profile of Pancasila Students and Rahmatan lil Alamin) that develops wasathiyyah values, a flexible and contextual curriculum structure, and a focus on developing moderate Islamic character. In building a generation of moderate Muslims, the policy develops three key strategies: implementation of P5RA Projects based on Islam Rahmatan lil Alamin values, development of integrated thematic learning incorporating religious moderation values, and building a balance between religious and citizenship values to foster mutual respect in diversity. The implementation of KMA 450/2024 has significant implications: strengthening a systemic approach to address exclusivism at the root of radicalism, increasing the need for educator capacity in teaching religious moderation values, and reinforcing an educational ecosystem that supports inclusive character formation. Conclusion: The research concludes that KMA 450/2024 represents a strategic step in preventing radicalism through the internalization of religious moderation in madrasah ibtidaiyah education. Optimizing implementation requires developing contextual P5RA operational guidelines, enhancing educator capacity, and conducting evaluative research to continuously improve radicalism prevention efforts in Indonesia's madrasah ibtidaiyah education environment.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penggunaan permainan edukatif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara Bahasa Indonesia di lingkungan sekolah dasar melalui tinjauan literatur. Metode yang digunakan adalah literatur review terhadap berbagai penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya terkait dengan penggunaan permainan edukatif dalam konteks pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil dari tinjauan literatur menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan permainan edukatif memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara Bahasa Indonesia pada siswa sekolah dasar. Berbagai penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan edukatif dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar, keterlibatan siswa, dan pemahaman terhadap materi Bahasa Indonesia. Metode pembelajaran ini juga membantu dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menyenangkan, sehingga meningkatkan minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Implikasi dari tinjauan literatur ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi permainan edukatif dalam kurikulum pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar. Namun, diperlukan penelitian lanjutan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai jenis permainan edukatif yang paling efektif serta implementasi yang tepat dalam konteks pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the motivational factors of students choosing the teaching profession at IKIP Budi Utomo students. This study uses quantitative methods with descriptive statistical data analysis techniques. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Collecting research data using a questionnaire. The factors that influence the motivation of Budi Utomo IKIP students to choose the teaching profession are as follows: Desire (60.55%); Needs (77.38%); Personality (76.89%); Ability (66.96%); Well-being (67,23%); and Social Environment (67.82%).

Abstract

Aspects Tested in the Teaching Profession, according to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers Chapter IV Article 8 article 13 (in Komara, 2007) that in the teaching profession several aspects will be tested, including academic qualifications, competence, health physically and spiritually and have the ability to realize national education goals. Competence is knowledge, skills, and abilities or capabilities possessed by a person that have become part of him or herself so that they color their cognitive, affective and psychomotor behavior. This research aims to determine the professionalism performance of teachers. The method used in this research is a literature review study. It can be concluded that teacher performance is not fully supported by an adequate degree of competency mastery.

Abstract

Dalam era digital, penggunaan buku bacaan tradisional dan digital mempengaruhi minat baca dan keterampilan bahasa siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas kedua jenis buku bacaan tersebut. Melalui metode literature review, artikel ini mengkaji studi empiris yang dipublikasikan dalam lima tahun terakhir. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa buku bacaan tradisional lebih efektif dalam membangun keterampilan dasar membaca dan kosakata, karena interaksi fisik dengan buku meningkatkan konsentrasi dan pemahaman. Buku digital, sebaliknya, menawarkan keunggulan dalam aksesibilitas dan interaktivitas, meningkatkan motivasi membaca melalui fitur multimedia. Buku digital juga memungkinkan penyesuaian tingkat kesulitan bacaan sesuai kemampuan siswa, mempercepat perkembangan keterampilan bahasa. Namun, buku digital memiliki tantangan seperti potensi distraksi dan kebutuhan perangkat teknologi yang memadai. Kesimpulannya, kombinasi buku tradisional dan digital dapat menjadi strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan minat baca dan keterampilan bahasa siswa. Integrasi keduanya dalam kurikulum pembelajaran diharapkan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis dan interaktif.
