Abstract

Ulubelu sub-district is the center of geothermal activity in Lampung Province. The Ulubelu geothermal project supply 25% of electricity to Lampung Province. In the future the Government plans to build a geothermal pipeline network with the aim of maximizing the potential found in Ulubelu. One of the objects that must be examined in the construction of the pipeline is the stability of the slope that will be passed by geothermal pipes. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the stability of landslides in the Ulubelu geothermal pipeline. Soil samples for this study were taken from 5 locations: BH-01, BH-02, BH-03, BH-04, and BH-05. This soil sample is then examined to determine its soil mechanics characteristics in the laboratory. The safety factor of each sample is analyzed using 3 slope analysis methods: the Fellenius method, the Bishop method, and the Janbu method, and calculated in Geostudio (Slope/W). The results showed that all samples showed safety factor values that were not much different that were spread between the numbers 1.7 to 4.3. This shows that all sample locations are safe from landslides. This also shows that the characteristics of the soil and the slope of the study area are almost the same.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemandirian anak penyandang down syndrome yang orang tuanya tergabung dalam komunitas Persatuan Orang Tua Anak Dengan down syndrom. Penyandang down syndrome dianggap sulit untuk dilatih dan dibentuk kemandiriannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif.  Subjek penelitian ini adalah NN anak perempuan down syndrome usia 8 tahun dan GR anak laki-laki down syndrome usia 8 tahun. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Rumah Ceria Down Syndrome (RCDS) serta di kediaman NN dan GR. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak down syndrome seperti NN dan GR, bisa mencapai kemandiriannya dengan baik, sesuai dengan potensi dan karakteristik khusus yang dimilikinya. Kemandirian NN dan GR ditinjau dari aspek fisik, intelektual, emosional dan sosial, seperti dapat merawat dan mengurus kebutuhan diri sendiri, disiplin, percaya diri, dapat mengikuti arahan sesuai instruksi, dan dapat menepati janji. Kemandirian NN dan GR dapat dicapai karena dukungan dari berbagai pihak, secara kolaboratif dan berkesinambungan, seperti dukungan Rumah Ceria Down Syndrome, pelatih musik djembe, orang tua, serta pendidik yang membiasakan dan mengembangkan kemandirian anak down syndrome dengan memfasilitasi dan memberikan kesempatan sesuai potensi yang dimiliki anak.

Abstract

Road construction requires good subgrade to put down parts of road pavement that it put downabove subgrade. However, soil can make problem if it has bad characteristic and loss, forexample high plasticity, low shear strenght, compression or volume change and large potensial ofswelling-shrinking. To overcome these, it is needed an improvement of soil that is called with soilstabilization use additive and one of them use TX 300 that come from America.Results of laboratory research show stabilization materials use TX 300 as stabilizing agent canimprove the physical and mechanical properties of soft clay soil. On physical test such as specificgravity and plasticity index, it decreased after stabilization. While the mechanical testing, usage ofTX 300 is effective enough in increasing the bearing capacity of soft clay soil. From the testresults of laboratory’s CBR, soil that has been stabilized with a mixture of the TX 300 can be usedas a subgrade for road construction due to CBR’s value ≥ 6 %.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the decline in clay, by comparing the reduction in soft clay soil of the village Belimbing Sari and organic clay from the village of Beteng Sari, using concrete reinforcement mats and bamboo poles to increase the carrying capacity of the land, because the clay when getting the imposition of the will experience a significant drop. This research was conducted by making test Boks modeling land subsidence, and perform impairment testing ground that has been given concrete reinforcement using a bamboo mat with a pole on soft clay soil of the village Belimbing Sari and organic clay from the village of Beteng Sari. Using weights ranging from 0.2 kg/cm2, 0.3 kg/cm2, 0.4 kg/cm2, 0.5 kg/cm2. Testing was conducted on the impairment testing ground to seek consolidation coefficient (Cv), congestion coefficient of volume (Mv), compression index (Cc) and coefficient of compression (Av). Based on the research results, the test box, the decline in clay is lower than the original soil testing, this happens because the test soil reinforcement box has been given a concrete form bamboo mat with a pole. From this it can be concluded that the carrying capacity of the clay to get better after being given reinforcement.

Abstract

Paving block is made of by mixturing cement portland or other hidrolic material, water, and agre- gate or without any other material. In this research paving blok will be made by using of soil, ce- ment, and rice husk ash. Besides, soaking of paving block is aimed to improve compressive the paving block that is suitable with SNI 03-0691 (1996). The samples of soil that is used came fromq ITERA, South Lampung. The making of paving block samples consists of two stages. First, mixture A (10% of cement, 5% of rice husk ash, 85% of silt soil) and mixture B (15% of cement, 5% of rice husk ash, 80% of silt soil) and the making of samples in the second stage is to deter- mine the effect of immersion of compressive the paving block in which the samples using is sam - ples with optimum compressive result from making samples in the firsh strage by time variant in 0 day, 7 days, 14 days, 21 days and 28 days and also by doing pre-burning and post-burning. From the experiment result of innovation compressive this paving block includes to the quality class D and absorption of paving block that is made of mixturing soil, cement, and rice husk ash is not ap- propriate with SNI 03-0691 (1996). The adding of rice husk ash gives a little influence in improv- ing compressive of paving block. The soaking that is done to paving block causing the decrease of compressive till 45,7%. The highes compressive produced by paving block post-burning during immersion 0 day that is 11,70 Mpa.

Abstract

Tanah lempung dengan plastisitas tinggi, kohesifitas yang besar berakibat fluktuasi kembang susut yang relatif besar. Hal ini yang menyebabkan kondisi jalan yang dibangun diatas tanah lempung sering kali mengalami kerusakan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tanah tersebut, dalam merencanakan bangunan teknik sipil di Indonesia memerlukan beberapa perlakuan untuk membuat tanah menjadi lebih stabil. Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini dilakukan perbaikan tanah dengan cara memperbaiki gradasinya yaitu mencampur lempung (tanah asli) dengan pasir (gradasi lebih besar). Sampel tanah yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berasal dari Ruas Jalan R.A.Basyid, Kecamatan Jati Agung, Lampung Selatan pada STA 3+100 dan variasi pasir yang digunakan yaitu 0, 5, 10 dan 15 % dari berat tanah. Adapun pengujian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah pengujian CBR dari efek pegembangan tanah, lalu dilakukan perhitungan tebal perkerasan dengan metode analisa komponen SKBI 2.3.26.1987. Pada penelitian inisampel tanah yang digunakan termasuk kelompok A-7-6atau jenis tanah yang buruk. Setelah penambahan variasi pasir, batas plastis tanah tersebut meningkat sedangkan batas cair dan indeks plastisitas menurun, hal ini mengakibatkan pengembangan tanah terjadi penurunan pada 15% kapur yaitu dari 0,65% menjadi 0,15%, sedangkan nilai CBR mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan pada pasir 15% yaitu dari 2,0% menjadi 25,4%. Dengan hal ini tebal lapis menjadi lebih tipis, pada 0% kapur yaitu tebal D1=7,5 cm, D2=25 cm dan D3=44 cm, sedangkan pada 15% kapur tebal D1=5 cm, D2=18 cm dan D3 tidak digunakan.Kata kunci : CBR, Pengembangan Tanah, Tebal Perkerasan, Stabilisasi, Pa

Abstract

Soil sample that used as base material in this study was taken from Belimbing Sari Village area, Sub Jabung, East Lampung. Based on the testing of soil physical's characteristics, USCS classified soil samples as organic soil with medium to high plasticity and belongs to the OH group. The mixed content which used in this study was 85% soil, 10% lime, and 5% cement with curing time for 14 days, then it was divided with combustion and without combustion treatment on the paving block sample and soaked for 4, 8, 12, and 16 days. The result of this study was to obtain the average value of pressed-value on a mixture of 85% soil + 10% lime + 5% cement after the largest burning treatment and soaked for 4 days at 11.7 MPa. Thus, in addition to the combustion, the duration of immersion also affects its pressed-value. The longer it had soaked, the smaller its pressed-value would be. Therefore, this pressed-value met the requirement of the paving blocks' SNI-03-0691-1996 that was qualified on the classification of quality D which had the average pressed-value of at least 10 MPa. In addition to the pressed-value, the water absorption rate which was 15.5% -20.32% did not meet the paving blocks' requirement of SNI-03-0691-1996.Key words : Paving block, organic clay soil, compressive strength, water absorption, immersion.

Abstract

Landslide are one of the natural disasters that often occur during the rainy season. As in the area of Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park, Lampung Barat, which is a road that is always passed many vehicles. This happens because of an increase in pore water pressure on the slope, which then resulted in a decrease in shear strength (c) and friction angle (φ). Required slope stability analysis and prevention of sliding slopes experiencing.One of the slope stability analysis method used is Fellenius with countermeasures using retaining wall. Fellenius slope stability analysis method (1927) considers the forces that work on either side of any resultant slices have a zero in the direction perpendicular field of avalanche. Fellenius method provides a safe factor is relatively lower than a matter of a more thorough way.From the analysis of slope stability, slope expressed in critical condition. Countermeasures sliding slope using stone retaining wall plug and using gabion. Dimensions and gabion retaining wall that has been planned can be applied in the field so that avalanches do not occur again. Keywords: slope stability, safety factor, fellenius, retaining wall, gabion.

Clay And Silt Soil Is A Kind Of Soil That Has A Bad Soil Bearing Capacity. One Of SoilImprovements That We Can Do Is Use A Mixture Of Hydrated Lime. In Addition To MoreEconomical Reason, It Also Has Good Ability In The Soil Stabilization With Fine Grain Soil.The Clay Soil Sample Is A Type Of High Plasticity Clay That Taken From Rawa Sragi- Jabung-East Lampung District And Then The Silt Soil Sample Is Taken From Yosumulyo-East Metro-Metro City. Based On Previous Experiments, That Soil Is Included In Soft Clay And HighPlasticity Category Which Has High Plasticity Index Value >11%. Based On Unified SoilClasification (Uscs), Clay Belong To Cl Category, While Silt Soil Belong To Cl-Ml Category. InModified Proctor Compact Test Result, Adding Hydrated lime Prove To Reduce Maximum DensityValue (Γd), And For Optimum Water Content (Ω opt ) Having An Increaces But Not Significant. InUnconfined Compressive Strength Test, Clay And Silt Soil With Variation Of Curing Time AndSoaked Condition, Soil With Hydrated Lime Mixtured With Modified Proctor Compacted, ForClay Soil, It Get Qu Optimum Value Increased When It Has 15% Hydrated Lime Content, 28 DaysOf Curing Time, It Get 0,3636 Kg/Cm2. Abstract

The development of infrastructure development in Indonesia is increasing in various areas, such as the construction of reservoirs, reservoirs, dams and other constuctions. One of the important things that is the basis of development is land because almost all buildings stand on the ground. Therefore, it is necessary to know the type of soil used and the nature of the soil permeability. Soil permeability describes the ability of the soil to pass water. Soil samples used were soil samples from Pamenang village, Pagelaran sub-district, Pringsewu district. Soil samples taken are disturbed and undisturbed soil samples. The soil is then compacted by the standard method and with the pressure method test apparatus at a pressure of 2,5 MPa, 5 MPa, 7,5 MPa, 10 MPa, 15 MPa, 20 MPa, and 30 MPa, each method has one sample being tested. Furthermore the permeability test was carried out to obtain the permeability coefficient value.Results from observations in the laboratory show that the greater the pressure exerted on the soil, the smaller the permeability coefficient. The relationship between the permeability coefficient and the standard compaction method and the pressure method obtained different permeability coefficient values.Keyword : Soil, Compaction, Pressure and Permeability
