Abstract

In the current era, innovation is really needed by teachers to optimize learning success, where they can utilize ICT and can organize game-based learning. The aim of this community service activity is to increase teacher creativity in learning and improve teacher skills in designing and implementing game-based learning in the classroom. In order to achieve the objectives of community service activities, a training approach is used, with four main stages, namely introduction, training, evaluation and providing feedback. The evaluation was carried out using a quantitative approach, using descriptive data analysis techniques and the Wilcoxon test. Based on evaluation and reflection on activities, it shows that teacher training was declared effective, there was an increase in teacher skills before and after the research was carried out. Teachers are also motivated to implement the material taught in the learning process

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to empirically test the influence of performance-based budgeting and remuneration on the main performance of higher education institutions which is mediated by good university governance Methodology/approach: This research is causal research with a quantitative approach using path analysis. The data used is primary data obtained from a sample of 42 people by distributing questionnaires using Google Form. Answer measurement uses a Likert scale. Findings: Performance-based budgeting mediated by good university governance has a significant effect on the main performance of higher education institutions. Remuneration mediated by good university governance has a significant effect on the main performance of higher education. Performance-based budgeting has a significant effect on good university governance. Remuneration has a significant effect on good university governance. Performance-based budgeting cannot directly improve the main performance of higher education institutions because it does not have a significant effect. Direct remuneration cannot improve the main performance of higher education because it does not have a significant effect. Good university governance has a significant effect on the main performance of higher education. Practical implications: Improving higher education performance can be done through the application of good university governance principles such as transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence and justice as well as the implementation of performance-based budgets and effective remuneration to realize the implementation of good university governance. Originality/value: There are many research results on performance-based budgeting and remuneration on higher education performance with inconsistent results, so the research was conducted to fill the research gap in previous research by using good university governance as a mediating variable to improve higher education performance from the implementation of performance-based budgeting and remuneration.

Abstract

The current globalization has also given rise to new leadership styles, including digital leadership. Digital leadership style is one alternative approach school principals use to improve the quality of learning by utilizing technological sophistication. This study aims to determine the strategy, implementation, and obstacles in the digital leadership of school principals to improve the quality of learning in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang and MA Al Irtqio' Malang City. This study uses a qualitative approach with a multi-site study design conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang and MA Al Irtiqo' Malang City. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that in his strategy, the principal sought to conduct technology-based learning media training for educators, seeking the ability of educators to utilize technology. The implementation is done by striving to learn using digital media, completing technology-related facilities, collaborating with various parties, and integrating technology into school administration. The obstacles are children's different backgrounds, conventional teaching, and internet network connectivity.

Abstract

Sebagai seorang manajer di lembaga pendidikan, salah satu peran kepala sekolah adalah mengimplementasikan fungsi perencanaan pada lembaga pendidikan yang dipimpinnya. Pada lembaga Pendidikan Katolik, peran perencanaan kepala sekolah dapat diterapkan berdasarkan Nilai-nilai Kristiani yang menjadi ciri khas sekolah. Nilai-nilai Kristiani adalah prinsip-prinsip hidup dimiliki dan dihayati oleh setiap pengikut Tuhan Yesus Kristus karena nilai-nilai tersebut bersumber dari sikap dan cara hidup Yesus sendiri yang dikenal melalui Kitab Suci. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melakukan analisis mendalam tentang peran perencanaan kepala sekolah berbasis nilai-nilai Kristiani di SMP Katolik Santa Maria 2 dan SMP Katolik Frateran Celaket 21 Malang. Peneliti menerapkan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan desain studi multi situs dalam penelitian ini. Data penelitian bersumber dari informasi atau fakta yang didapatkan dari informan utama, yaitu kepala sekolah setempat dan sumber-sumber lain yang berkaitan. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data di dalam situs dan analisis data lintas situs. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam menjalankan peran perencanaan, kepala sekolah menerapkan nilai-nilai Kristiani, antara lain kasih, kesabaran, kesetiaan, kemurahan hati, dan kerendahan hati.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengkaji implementasi strategi penampilan, pelayanan, prestasi dalam meningkatkan jumlah peserta didik baru. Penelitian ini akan dikaji dengan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian dipilih secara sengaja karena memiliki peran langsung. Pengumpulan informasi dilakukan melalui metode wawancara, pengamatan, dan pencatatan dokumen. Metode menganalisis data dilakukan melalui deskriptif-kualitatif kemudian penarikan kesimpulan. Kualitas penampilan fasilitas sekolah yang baik, bersih, terawat mendukung pembelajaran, kesejahteraan siswa, dan citra positif sekolah. Selain itu, memberikan layanan pendidikan yang terbaik bagi siswa melalui pembelajaran, program kegiatan sekolah yang kreatif dan inovatif, dan pembiasaan karakter serta melayani kebutuhan setiap anak yang membutuhkan perhatian khusus. Prestasi belajar diperoleh dengan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang positif, disiplin, menggunakan teknologi secara efektif. Sekolah membangun komunikasi secara teratur dengan orang tua, melibatkan mereka dalam proses pembelajaran. Alat ukur yang efektif untuk melakukan pemantauan, kinerja siswa secara teratur, seperti tes standar, tes di kelas, dan penilaian formatif, dan mendesain kurikulum yang adaptif sesuai dengan kemampuan peserta didik.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase the self-paced learning of international/outbound students, Increase the agility of outbound student, and education-project entrepreneurship especially in National University of Laos (NUOL). This research use action research approach. This research was conducted for international student with 38 students from the Economic and Business faculties at NUOL.  The data technique with On-In-On through a duo approach system, namely online and offline with locations in two countries, Indonesia and Laos with data collection technique in this research uses an unstructured questionnaire. Data processing and analysis techniques use Tabulating. The results of the study show that outbound student can improve self-paced learning by design model learning based Business Model Canvas (BMC) in higher education can implementing design their own business. This design model is effective strategy in synergizing the era of digital system contributions in building independent learning and increasing the entrepreneurial spirit of outbound students who have to survive in higher education.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum, as the latest innovation in the world of Indonesian education, raises a number of problems in the process of implementing it in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, especially for teachers. This article analyzes the problems that arise, especially related to curriculum planning and organization. The method used is a descriptive survey, data were collected from teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Trenggalek. The results showed that the majority of respondents had a lack of understanding of the independent curriculum, difficulties in preparing documents and learning tools for the independent curriculum, inadequate facilities and infrastructure. Lack of participation in intensive training and technical guidance results in a lack of understanding of the substance of the curriculum being the main factor behind this problem. In the face of these challenges, a number of alternative solutions were proposed, including intensive training, comparative studies, teacher working groups, and improved technological facilities and infrastructure

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) character values instilled through an integrative holistic program in KB-TK Negeri Pembina 1 Malang, (2) integrative holistic program planning in instilling character values in early childhood in KB- Pembina Negeri 1 TK Malang, (3) implementing an integrative holistic program in instilling character values in early childhood in KB-TK Negeri Pembina 1 Malang, and (4) evaluating an integrative holistic program in instilling character values in children early childhood in KB-TK Negeri Pembina 1 Malang. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. The location of this research is in the KB-TK Negeri Pembina 1 Malang. Informants in this study were school principals, teachers of integrative holistic programs, and student guardians. The data collection stage was carried out by in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The data analysis phase was carried out using data collection techniques, data condensation, data presentation, then drawing conclusions and verification. At the data validity test stage, four test stages were carried out, namely the credibility test, transferability test, dependability test, and confirmability test. The stages of this research were carried out starting from planning, implementing, and preparing reports. The results obtained from this study can be concluded: (1) the character values instilled through an integrative holistic program in KB-TK Negeri Pembina 1 Malang include religious, independent, mutual cooperation, discipline, and caring characters; (2) holistic integrative program planning in instilling character values in early childhood is carried out by parenting and preparation of RPPH; (3) the implementation of an integrative holistic program in instilling character values in early childhood is carried out in a comprehensive manner covering three aspects of children's needs, namely health and nutrition, education and parenting, and child protection; (4) an evaluation of an integrative holistic program in instilling character values in early childhood is carried out at every coordination meeting at the end of the activity which is attended by the principal and all teachers to find obstacles and improvements, and see the impact on students. Keywords: management, holistic integrative, character Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) nilai-nilai karakter yang ditanamkan melalui program holistik integratif di KB-TK Negeri Pembina 1 Kota Malang, (2) perencanaan program holistik integratif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter pada anak usia dini di KB-TK Negeri Pembina 1 Kota Malang, (3) pelaksanaan program holistik integratif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter pada anak usia dini di KB-TK Negeri Pembina 1 Kota Malang, dan (4) evaluasi program holistik integratif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter pada anak usia dini di KB-TK Negeri Pembina 1 Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian ini yaitu di KB-TK Negeri Pembina 1 Kota Malang. Informan pada penelitian ini yaitu kepala sekolah, guru program holistik integratif, dan wali murid. Tahap pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Tahap analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data, kemudian penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Pada tahap uji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan empat tahap uji yakni uji kredibilitas (credibility), uji transferabilitas (tranferability), uji dependabilitas (dependability), dan uji konfirmabilitas (konfirmability). Tahap-tahap penelitian ini dilakukan mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penyusunan laporan. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan: (1) nilai-nilai karakter yang ditanamkan melalui program holistik integratif di KB-TK Negeri Pembina 1 Kota Malang meliputi karakter religius, mandiri, gotong royong, disiplin, dan peduli; (2) perencanaan program holistik integratif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter pada anak usia dini dilakukan dengan parenting dan penyusunan RPPH; (3) pelaksanaan program holistik integratif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter pada anak usia dini dilaksanakan secara menyeluruh meliputi tiga aspek kebutuhan anak, yakni kesehatan dan gizi, pendidikan dan pengasuhan, serta perlindungan anak; (4) evalusi program holistik integratif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter pada anak usia dini dilaksanakan setiap rapat koordinasi di akhir kegiatan yang diikuti oleh kepala sekolah dan semua guru guna menemukan hambatan dan perbaikan, serta melihat dampak ke peserta didik. Abstract

 This study focuses on the impact of teacher credibility, compensation, and job satisfaction on the performance of private junior high school teachers in Kota Batu. Employing a quantitative approach, it involves 147 teachers based on the 2023 data of Kota Batu. The research aims to evaluate the influence of teacher credibility, compensation, and job satisfaction on teacher performance and provide solutions to elementary education management issues. Data collection methods include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis utilizes Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS3 and IBM SPSS 26. The results indicate that teacher credibility positively affects the image and trust, while job satisfaction positively influences motivation, performance, and teacher retention, with fairness in compensation considered a key factor. Keywords: credibility, compensation, Job satisfaction, Teacher performance.  AbstrakPenelitian ini fokus pada dampak kredibilitas guru, kompensasi, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Swasta Kota Batu. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, melibatkan 147 guru berdasarkan data Kota Batu 2023. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengevaluasi pengaruh kredibilitas, kompensasi, dan kepuasan kerja pada kinerja guru serta memberikan solusi terhadap masalah manajemen pendidikan dasar. Metode pengumpulan data melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan SmartPLS3 dan IBM SPSS 26. Hasil menunjukkan kredibilitas guru berdampak positif pada citra dan kepercayaan, sementara kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif pada motivasi, kinerja, dan retensi guru, dengan keadilan kompensasi sebagai faktor kunci.  Kata Kunci: Kredibilitas, Kompensasi, Kepuasan kerja, Kinerja guru.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine self leadership through peer care student programs in an effort to improve the quality of education in elementary schools.To answer the topic raised, researchers choose research using a qualitative approach because researchers want to know in depth about the phenomena that actually occur inschools. In the process of data analysis researchers used NVivo's analysis tools to find output from in-depth interview transcripts, field notes, and documentationstudies.
