Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology presents significant opportunities to enhance the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). However, the implementation of AI in value-based education faces various technical, pedagogical, and ethical challenges that impact its effectiveness and sustainability. This qualitative phenomenological study explores students’ perceptions of AI integration in PAI learning, focusing on their experiences, acceptance, and challenges encountered. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Bloom’s Taxonomy frameworks to understand acceptance levels and AI’s contribution to learning outcomes. Findings reveal that AI has the potential to support more personalized, adaptive, and interactive learning, especially at the cognitive and analytical stages. Nevertheless, the role of teachers and religious scholars remains essential in guiding spiritual aspects and value evaluation, positioning AI as a complementary tool rather than a replacement. Key challenges include overreliance, information validity, and ethical concerns, requiring adequate supervision and technology literacy. The study recommends AI integration grounded in Islamic values, involving religious experts, and curriculum development emphasizing critical thinking and originality. Thus, AI can become a strategic partner in creating relevant, humanistic, and ethical PAI learning in the digital era.

Abstract

An essential role in improving the quality of individual and community life is education. One of the non-formal educational institutions that contribute to moral and spiritual development is Rumah Qur'an. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of Rumah Qur'an in enhancing the quality of Akhlakul Karimah in children at Rumah Qur'an Rumish Klaten, using a qualitative approach and case study method. Data were obtained through interviews, participant observation, and document studies. This research reveals that Rumah Qur'an Rumish Klaten plays a role in character building through Qur'an learning, moral education, and the habituation of Islamic values in daily life. Teaching and learning activities take place four times a week. Additionally, the Akhlakul Karimah development methods are applied through role modeling, habituation, as well as providing advice and guidance to students. Although Rumah Qur’an has a positive impact, this study also found several challenges in implementing Akhlakul Karimah development, such as the uncontrolled use of mobile phones at home. Therefore, a more comprehensive strategy is needed, including collaboration between institutions, families, and the community. Thus, Rumah Qur'an Rumish Klaten plays a significant role in improving the quality of Akhlakul Karimah in children through a systematic Qur'an-based education. However, optimizing development methods is necessary to achieve more effective and sustainable results.

Abstract

This articleexamines the development of the puritan Islamicmovement at Surakarta mainly is Majelis Tafsir Al-Quran (MTA).MTA is one of religious movement in Indonesia that is developed atvillages area. When this movement is developing into variousregions, then there tends to be conflict. The first purpose of thisresearch is how do Muslims respond to the expansion of MTA invarious regions. Second, what are the efforts taken by its members tomaintain their existence and continue their missions to be acceptedby the community. Even though get refusing but this movement is stillsurvive. There are four kinds of responds towards da’wah by MTA,mainly; accommodative, critical, resistant, and conflict. MTA as theminority movement doing effort, interaction andbuild up socialrelationship anddefend itself through many ways, such as; insideideology strengthening, enlarging the link of majority movementleaders, doing social jobs, leading law enforcement in completingproblem.The various ways taken by the puritan Islamic movement arestill incomplete to build good relations, and are still considered tocause problems in the society. The spreading of puritan Islamicmovement as a contentious da’wah.

Abstract

Everyone worldwide, including students, has been affected by the rapid development of digital media due to advances in science, technology, and information. Everyone has a unique personality. However, in general, personalities can be divided into two categories: good and bad. The purpose of this study is to find out the challenges parents and teachers face in the digital era in developing the students’ personalities at SMP Negeri 1 Sambi. This research uses qualitative methods and uses intensive data processing techniques. The data used included observation, document study, questionnaires, and interviews. The results showed that parents and teachers of students face more complex challenges in building children's personalities in the current digital era, such as uncontrolled information, easily accessible information, and the influence of a strong digital environment. In addition, the use of digital media also has significant effects, including positive and negative effects on the life’s students of SMP Negeri 1 Sambi. Parents, teachers, and schools must play a role to minimize the negative effects of digital media on the development of students' personhood.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how families in Dusun Pablengan Kulon perceive the urgency of Islamic religious education for children. Apart from that, to find out what efforts families in Dusun Pablengan Kulon have made to obtain Islamic religious education for their children. The research methodology used is field study, namely data collection in the form of observations, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The source of research data is the community in Dusun Pablengan Kulon, Krikilan, Kalijambe, Sragen, Central Java. This hamlet was chosen because it is a model hamlet in other Krikilan Villages. The results of the research show that families in Dusun Pablengan Kulon already understand the urgency of Islamic religious education for children. The results of the second research show that the efforts of families in Dusun Pablengan Kulon to address the urgency of Islamic religious education for children is by providing Islamic religious education at home, providing encouragement to enroll their children in non-formal religious education, namely the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ), and for parents who have full awareness of Islamic religious education and are supported by a stable economy, this will give their children the opportunity to study in an Islamic-based school.

Abstract

Teknologi pembelajaran bahasa Arab merupakan penggunaan perangkat lunak, aplikasi, dan solusi digital untuk membantu individu dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab dengan lebih efektif dan efisien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan penggunaan teknologi dan pengaruh penggunaan teknologi terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Arab dengan menggunakan buku “"Al-‘Arabiyyah Bayna Yadayk". Metode penelitian menggunaan penelitian kualitatif, dengan cara melakukan proses eksplorasi dan pemahaman yang bermakna terhadap individu ataupun kelompok. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi terhadap pembelajaran di kelas, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan pertama analisis konten, kemudian melakukan interpretaif dan yang terakhir yaitu dengan analisis komparatif. Hasil dalam penelitian ini yaitu Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di SMP Islam Terpadu Al Madinah  dengan menggunakan multimedia yaitu  adanya bahan ajar yang berbentuk digital seperti powerpoint, Latihan soal, audio percakapan, dan konten pembelajran yang dapat dapat diakses dalam situs resmi Al-Arabiyah Lil Jami' (Arabic For All). Pembelajaran di Madrasah Mutawassithah Imam Bukhari Solo pengguanaan mutimedia lebih banyak menggunakan teknologi audia untuk mendengarkan percakapan dalam bahasa Arab.  Penggunaan multimedia dalam pembelajaran di kedua sekolah dinilai efektif karena dapat menarik perhatian siswa, mengurangi kejenuhan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dan dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa dengan bahasa Arab.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketertarikan penulis terhadap pemikiran KH.Ahmad dan KH.Mas Mansur dalam memandang nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam. Hasil dari pemikiran kedua tokoh tersebut membuat organisasi Muhammadiyah bisa berkembang pesat dan maju terutama karena nilai-nilai pendidikan islam modern yang dikembangkannya. Nilai Pendidikan Islam sangat penting dalam mendidik pribadi-pribadi yang sesuai dengan pedoman hidup di dalam Al-Qur’an dan Hadits. Pengembangan pembelajaran pendidikan agama di sekolah sangat diperlukan mengingat pendidikan agama diharapkan dapat mengatasi berbagai permasalahan terkait krisis akhlak dan moral peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk :1) Mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam menurut KH.Ahmad Dahlan.2) Mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam. 3) mendeskripsikan persamaan dan perbedaan konsep nilai pendidikan Islam menurut KH.Ahmad Dahlan dan KH.Mas Mansur. penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kualitatif deskriptif karena data yang diperoleh berupa tulisan,kata-kata,gambar,foto dengan jenis studi pustaka (library reseacch) dengan cara menghimpun,mengkaji dan menelaah data,dokumen atau karya berkaitan dengan objek penelitian. Hasil Penelitian konsep yang dibangun mengenai tentang pendidikan islam menurut KH.Ahmad Dahlan adalah tentang kesempurnaan budi pekerti yang lahir dalam diri manusia itu sendiri. Nilai pendidikan islam diantaranya nilai tentang budi pekerti (akhlak), nilai tentang sosial dan nilai kemasyarakatan. Dalam implementasi pengalaman nilai pendidikan, hal pokok yang perlu dijalankan adalah dengan metode pemberian keteladananan sebagai pembelajaran uswah hasanah pada manusia. Sedangkan menurut KH.Mas Mansur konsep nilai pendidikan adalah bagaimana manusia itu tidak boleh angkuh ketika sudah mendapatkan ilmu dan bisa mengendalikan hawa nafsu. Nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang perlu dipelajari adalah tentang pendidikan sosial keagamaan dan pendidikan akhlah. Nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang diterapkan KH.Mas Mansur dengan melakukan melakukan gerakan ta’awun (tolong-menolong) dengan memperhatikan anak yatim dan orang-orang miskin,membuat balai kesehatan dan membentuk persatuan juru rawat Muhammadiyah.

Abstract

Background: The Head of a Madrasah is the leader of education unit level education, which must be responsible for all Madrasah activities. In addition, the Head of Madrasah is an education leader whose position is very important in the Madrasah environment because the Head of Madrasah is more closely and directly related to the implementation of each educational program. Aim: Revealing the strategy of the Head of MI Muhammadiyah Srebegan in improving the professionalism of the teachers Method: Fieldwork is used in this study. A descriptive analysis using inductive thinking was employed as the method. Meanwhile, this research relies on observation, interviews, and documents to get the necessary information. Findings: The Head of Madrasah’s strategy for developing teacher professionalism at MI Muhammadiyah Srebegan starts with defining Madrasah's vision, mission, and goals. Madrasah's external and internal environments are observed during the procedure. The final step in the strategy development process for the head of MI Muhammadiyah Srebegan was to formulate the Madrasah plan, which is included in the Madrasah Work Program, which is prepared once a year at the start of the school year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pembinaan Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam terhadap siswa dalam karakter disiplin melalui shalat berjamaah di SMKN 7 Surakarta. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis pembinaan Guru PAI terhadap Siswa dalam karakter disiplin shalat berjamaah di SMKN 7 Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan proses pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap guru dan siswa SMKN 7 Surakarta. Temuan penelitian ini membuktikan pembinaan Guru PAI terhadap siswa sangat penting untuk mengembangkan karakter disiplin siswa melalui implementasi shalat berjamaah. Namun, dari hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwasannya Guru PAI masih mengalami beberapa kendala yakni masih banyak siswa yang mengabaikan shalat berjamaah ini sehingga guru PAI harus mampu membimbing, memotivasi, memfasilitasi dalam penanaman karakter disiplin ini. Pembinaan ini mempunyai tujuan untuk memberikan bekal dan pengaruh yang positif terhadap penanaman karakter kedisiplinan siswa. Kata kunci: Pembinaan Guru PAI, Karakter Disiplin, Shalat Berjamaah

Abstract

The integration of information technology in education has become increasingly critical in the digital era, particularly for enhancing pedagogical effectiveness. YouTube, as the world's most prominent video-sharing platform, has emerged as a significant educational tool across diverse disciplines, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Despite providing global access to extensive educational content, substantial challenges persist in its pedagogical implementation, particularly regarding inadequate digital literacy among Indonesian secondary school students. This study investigates the utilization of YouTube as an instructional medium for developing critical thinking skills in PAI learning contexts. Employing a qualitative case study design, this research collected data through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis involving PAI teachers and students from multiple Indonesian high schools. Findings reveal that while YouTube offers diverse educational content with potential to foster critical thinking development, the majority of students engage in passive consumption patterns, lacking analytical depth in processing presented material. Although interactive features, including comment sections, content sharing, and subscription mechanisms, demonstrate potential for promoting deeper cognitive engagement, their educational benefits remain underutilized. The study identifies two principal barriers to effective YouTube integration: insufficient student digital literacy and inconsistent content quality. These findings contribute to the emerging scholarship on digital platform utilization in religious education and provide empirical evidence for enhancing critical thinking pedagogy through technology-mediated instruction in Indonesian educational contexts.
