Abstract

Education and life are the relationship between process and content, as well as the process of adopting culture in the sense of human civilization. With this, there is a need for understanding and preservation that needs to be instilled in children in learning at school. The method used is a qualitative method in the form of description. Data collection using interviews, observations and documentation, through the silencing of techniques and data analysis starts from data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Cigadung 03, with informants of teachers and students. The results of the discussion showed that the social studies teaching material for grade IV elementary school was related to stories about my area, my Indonesia is rich in culture, me and my needs, and building a civilized society. In this regard, there needs to be implications that can be applied in learning about local content in Brebes district. This is done with the intention of being the direction of the child's consciousness related to learning that corresponds to real life. Students can learn about salted egg, Sundanese language, Javanese, khaul, kerigan, sintren, calung, burok art, kuntulan, brebes mask dance, and pandansari mongrove forest

Abstract

This research aims to explore the kinds of rituals done by the society in around Merapi mountain facing volcanic mountain eruption threat in Cangkringan and find educational meaning in the ritual. This research uses qualitative approach, phenomenology. Research informants are Cangkringan society, Merapi mountain caretaker, and Cangkringan figures.  Data collecting technique are participant observation; the researcher involved directly in the ritual. Data then analyzed by using domain, taxonomic, componential, and cultural theme. Research result shows that Cangkringan society in facing Merapi mountain eruption threat is still traditionally by labuhan ritual , laku topo bisu ritual, and sedekah Gunung ritual. These rituals are representation of educational values and local wisdom whose most fundamental objectives are to maintain nature, the values of togetherness, in order and respect to achieve outer and inner harmony.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan segala benda yang dapat digunakan untuk menyampaikan pengetahuan kepada siswa secara efektif. Media pembelajaran berbasis website dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan spasial Geografi siswa. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan yaitu Website Geoeduvid. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengetahui efektivitas media pembelajaran Website Geoeduvid terhadap pengetahuan spasial Geografi siswa di SMA Walisongo Karangmalang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu true experimental dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Peneliti menggunakan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksprimen untuk menguji efektivitas media pembelajaran Website Geoeduvid. Media pembelajaran di kelas kontrol menggunakan media konvensional, dan kels eksperimen dengan media pembelajaran website Geoeduvid. Sampel penelitian untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 20 siswa dan kelas eksperimen sebesar 25 siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Uji-t dan deskriptif persentase, Batas minimal efektivitas pembelajaran yaitu 65%. Hasil penelitian pada tahap posttest menunjukkan kelas eksperimen memiliki skor persentase lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Hasil persentase kelas kontrol untuk siswa yang tuntas sebesar 20%, selanjutnya kelas eksperimen untuk siswa tuntas sebesar 100%. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian yaitu media pembelajaran Website Geoeduvid dinyatakan efektif untuk pengetahuan spasial Geografi siswa di SMA Walisongo Karangmalang.

Abstract

Multicultural values are an integrated value system including justice, diversity, freedom, and solidarity. SMP Negeri 2 Pemalang, SMP Pius Pemalang, and SMP Al-Irsyad Pemalang have students from various ethnicities, including Javanese, Chinese, and Arabic. This study aims to analyze the practice of multicultural teaching and learning activities in social studies subjects at junior high school by using the indirect teaching model, to analyze the role of social studies teachers in shaping the multicultural values in social studies learning, and to analyze the multicultural values students have through indirect teaching models. This writing was done qualitatively with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation study. The results show that not all social studies teachers understand the indirect teaching model before learning. Not all social studies materials could be delivered using the indirect teaching model. Apart from being an educator, teachers also play roles as an example of values, ethics, social and emotional aspects for students. The suggestion of this writing is to emphasize multicultural values to students to understand and apply them to social life, considering that Indonesia is currently experiencing a crisis of values, ethics, and morals.

Abstract

Pendidikan kebencanaan adalah pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan materi kebencanaan dalam pendidikan formal sehingga siswa dapat berperan dalam membangun pengetahuan, untuk membangun ketahanan sekolah terhadap dan untuk menunjukkan bahwa promosi ketahanan seismik sekolah untuk keselamatan anak-anak dan kelangsungan pendidikan mereka. Permalahan kebencanaan berdasarkan kontes Ilmu Pendidikan Sosial dapat dikaji dari aspek sosiologis maupun elemen pembelejaran. rumusan masalah penelitian ini diidentifikasi dalam lima pertanyaan penelitian, yaitu: Bagaimana keteraitan tentang peran kearifan lokal di wilayah erupsi merapi sebagai lanskap pendidikan kebencanaan terhadap pengembangan pembelaaran? Bagaimana model pembelajaran yang dpaat dikembangkan di wilayah rawan bencana merapi di kabupaten Boyolali? Bagaimana model pembelajaran edukatif dalam konteks pengembangan wilayah tanggap bencana erupsi merapi sebagai bagian dari Indonesia? Bagaimana pemenuhan hak-hak edukatif siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS sebagai perwujudan warga negara yang baik ? Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis, mempunyai setting yang aktual, peneliti menjadi instrumen kunci, data biasanya bersifat deskriptif, menekankan kepada proses, Pendidikan kebencanaan berkelanjutan menjadi sangat penting mengingat kompleksitas wilayah di Indonesia memiliki potensi kebencanaan yang beragam. Keberadaan Bencana alam tidak harus disikapi dengan perasaaan ketakutan namun haruslah disikapi dengan penuh kesadaran untuk antisipasi. Nilai penting kebencanaan berikut penanaman sikap kesadaran siswa sejak usia dini ini menjadi penumbuhan proporsional dan sebagai bahan penelitian memadai.

Abstract

Abstrak. Pendidikan bencana merupakan salah satu upaya mitigasi bencana yang penting untuk diberikan kepada masyarakat, utamanya kepada masyarakat Indonesia, mengingat Indonesia merupakan negara yang rawan akan bencana alam. Pendidikan bencana utamanya diberikan oleh pemerintah, tetapi pemerintah juga memerlukan dukungan dari berbagai pihak demi terwujudnya pendidikan bencana bagi seluruh masyarakat Indonesia. Dukungan dari berbagai pihak seperti instansi pendidikan formal, keluarga, dan diri masyarakat sendiri sangat diperlukan. Melalui penelitian pustaka dengan mengkaji berbagai referensi yang mendukung tujuan penelitian, penelitian ini akan mengungkap tentang peran ketiga pihak tersebut dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan bencana di masyarakat. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan formal berperan melalui pendidikan bencana di sekolah dan universitas, dimana siswa dan mahasiswa berperan sebagai perantara yang menyampaikan informasi dari atau menjadi perantara antara pendidikan formal dengan masyarakat. Peran keluarga dilakukan melalui transfer informasi dan pengalaman dari generasi yang lebih tua ke generasi yang lebih muda. Adapun peran masyarakat dilakukan melalui adanya “community leader” di masyarakat serta peran aktif pemuda. Abstract. Disaster education is one of the vital disaster mitigation efforts to be given to the community, especially to the people of Indonesia, considering that Indonesia is a country that is prone to natural disasters. The government mainly provides disaster education, but the government also needs support from various parties to realize disaster education for all Indonesian people. Support from various parties such as formal education institutions, families, and the community is needed. Through library research by reviewing various references that support the research objectives, this research will reveal the role of these three parties in implementing disaster education in the community. The results show that formal education plays a role through disaster education in schools and universities, where students and students act as intermediaries that convey information from or become intermediaries between formal education and the community. The role of the family is carried out through the transfer of information and experience from the older generation to the younger generation. The role of the community is carried out through the existence of "community leaders" in the community and the active role of youth.

Abstract

Pendidikan kebencanaan di negara yang rawan bencana seperti Indonesia merupakan suatu keharusan. Pendidikan kebencanaan salah satunya dapat dilakukan di sekolah melalui integrasi dengan pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian naratif reviu ini akan menganalisis secara mendalam literatur terkait integrasi pembelajaran IPA dengan pendidikan kebencanaan. Sebanyak 25 artikel jurnal dan prosiding internasional bereputasi maupun nasional terindeks akan dianalisis guna mengetahui tentang urgensi dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam pendidikan kebencanaan melalui integrasi dengan pembelajaran IPA. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kebencanaan dapat dilakukan melalui pembelajaran IPA. Hal tersebut sangat urgent untuk dilakukan diantaranya karena kejadian bencana di Indonesia terus mengalami perubahan, seiring perubahan iklim; karena literasi kebencanaan siswa yang rendah; serta belum meratanya pendidikan kebencanaan. Integrasi tersebut pada akhirnya menjadi pilihan yang paling efektif. Meskipun begitu, dalam pengimplementasiannya ditemukan tantangan selama proses pelaksanaan pendidikan kebencanaan yang terintegrasi pendidikan IPA yaitu terkait aspek regulasi dan mandat, kemampuan guru, panduan dan bahan ajar, kemampuan inovasi dan kerja sama, pendanaan, serta partisipasi siswa.

Abstract

Natural disasters in Indonesia have the potential to cause sustainable systemic impacts if they are not addressed proportionally. Boyolali Regency as one of the regencies in Central Java Province has the potential for volcanic eruptions to occur in the Merapi slope area. The stronger mythology of the people who inhabit Merapi Lerang, compared to the eruption pattern that occurred in the Merapi area, is an interesting phenomenon. The planting of disaster education based on the Merapi eruption is needed in planting awareness from an early age in the form of disaster education. The formulation of this research problem is identified in five research questions, namely: How is the relationship between the role of local wisdom in the Merapi eruption area as a disaster education landscape to the development of education? How is the learning model that can be developed in the Merapi disaster-prone area in Boyolali district? How is the educational learning model in the context of developing the Merapi eruption response area as part of Indonesia? How to fulfill the educative rights of students in social studies learning as the embodiment of good citizens? This study uses a phenomenological qualitative approach, has an actual setting, researchers are the key instruments, the data are descriptive, emphasizes the process, sustainable disaster education is very important considering the complexity of regions in Indonesia that have various disaster potentials.

Abstract

The plantation sector is a conflict-prone sector. The interests of various parties are disembogued in the plantation sector. Policies, legal regulations, hopes to provide welfare and a vehicle for research and education are part of the dynamics of Plantation. The objectives of this research is to findings in the form of a new perspective on Pagilaran tea plantations. The method used in this research is qualitative. Tea plantation is the leading sector in Indonesia which is favored by beautiful natural scenery, superior tea commodities, and efforts to preserve nature. Pagilaran Tea Plantation has core businesses in the form of Production, Trade, and Agrotourism. Pagilaran tea plantation is an icon of family-based tourism and study tour. Pagilaran develops its plantations in accordance with RA (Rainforest Alliance) standards and government regulations. PT Pagilaran is also committed to always playing an active role in preserving the environment. Tour packages based on the potential of natural resources and education of tea commodities become the main attraction for Pagilaran, including Tea Walking, Tea Factory, and Sun Rise at Tea Plantation Peak‎. The management principle of PT. Pagilaran Tea Plantation is a Closed Cluster Economy that empowers local communities to be empowered in Pagilaran Tea Plantation‎.

Abstract

Disaster education is a mandatory effort to deal with unexpected natural disasters. Disaster education trains knowledge, attitudes, and skills in dealing with disasters, one of which can be done through formal education, starting from early childhood to tertiary education. This writing aims to analyze the model of implementing disaster education through formal education, starting from early childhood education, elementary school, and middle school, to university. This article systematically uses the type of literature review writing by reviewing as many as 53 articles in Scopus-indexed journals and proceedings. The research results show different disaster education models at each level. The early childhood education level is taught with fun learning activities inside and outside the classroom, telling stories, and through websites. Elementary school level is carried out by camping, disaster drills, integrated with learning and local wisdom, implementing programs in schools, and optimizing smartphone functions. The secondary school level is conducted by conducting preparedness exercises, optimizing smartphones, applying specific learning methods, and integrating them with subjects. As for the tertiary level, this can be done by being involved in management, in natural disaster areas, and making disaster education a compulsory subject.
