Abstract

The digital era is marked by massive technological developments, having a significant impact on the world of education. The study aims to delineate the application and strengthening of character education through Islamic Religious Education in addressing the negative impact of technology in the digital era. The research method uses a library study as an approach to analyzing the concept of the application and strengthening of character education through Islamic religious education. The results of the study include various findings that address these concepts, highlighting strategies and methods that can be used to enhance the character of students. The research results show that Islamic-based character education is crucial in view of the impact of technological changes that affect interaction, communication, and behavior. Ethical guidance in the use of technology can be obtained through Islamic religious education, with emphasis on the application of everyday character through cultivation and uniformity. Successful character education requires shared responsibility from schools, communities, and parents. The recommendation of this study is the need for further integration between technology and character education through Islamic Religious Education. It requires a joint effort from education, parents, and the community to ensure that the use of technology is done positively, in line with student character formation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of facilities and infrastructure in primary schools in supporting optimal learning. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of semi-structured interviews, field observations and documentation. The results show that although basic facilities, such as tables, chairs and stationery, are available in adequate conditions, some obstacles remain, such as the limitations of infocus and other technological devices. Teachers creatively overcome these limitations with alternative ways of teaching. This result confirms the importance of sustainable facility management and support from external stakeholders to improve the quality of education. Recommendations include increasing the availability of supporting technology and routine maintenance of facilities to support more effective and interactive learning.

Abstract

The independent curriculum is an innovation in Indonesian education that offers freedom to learn to students, and allows educational units, teachers, and students to design learning processes that are relevant to their individual needs and potential, with an emphasis on developing student character. This study aims to describe in detail how the role of the Independent Curriculum in the formation of student character. This study was compiled with a literature study or Library observation. Data in this literature study were collected through searches on Google Scholar and various other databases, which aim to obtain comparative material. After that, the data that was successfully collected was collected based on its relevance to the research questions and objectives of this article, then summarized into comprehensive study results. The data collection process was carried out by tracing literature from national and international journals available on several websites. The results of the study show that the Independent Curriculum in Indonesia is designed to be freedom for students in the learning process through a flexible approach that is relevant to their lives. This curriculum forms student character based on Pancasila values, using various strategies such as differentiated learning, project-based learning

Abstract

This study investigates gaps in parental engagement in learning at Integritas Bangsa Elementary School using SWOT analysis as a tool for evaluation and solution development. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with homeroom teachers and validated through source triangulation. SWOT analysis was utilized to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to parental participation in education. The findings reveal a nuanced understanding of the dynamics of parental involvement and its impact on students' development. The study proposes actionable solutions, including seminars highlighting the importance of parental engagement, supported by field-based evidence and inspirational stories. Additionally, regular meetings between parents and homeroom teachers are recommended to foster positive relationships and enhance collaboration on children's development. The research underscores the roles of stakeholders: parents are urged to actively participate in their children's education, homeroom teachers to strengthen partnerships with parents, and school principals to facilitate initiatives that improve educational quality. This study provides structured, data-driven recommendations for developing education policies that actively involve parents, aiming to bridge the gap in parental participation and enhance the overall quality of education.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Sirkumsisi merupakan tindakan bedah minor yang memiliki implikasi penting dalam pencegahan penyakit infeksi saluran kemih dan peningkatan kesehatan reproduksi anak laki-laki. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan sirkumsisi massal di Desa Keude Krueng Geukuh sebagai upaya promotif dan preventif dalam meningkatkan derajat kesehatan reproduksi anak di wilayah dengan akses layanan kesehatan terbatas. Metode: Metode dorsumsisi dipilih untuk menjamin keamanan dan meminimalkan risiko komplikasi, dengan pelibatan lintas profesi medis dan partisipasi aktif masyarakat setempat. Hasil dan pembahasan: Hasil menunjukkan bahwa prosedur dapat dilaksanakan secara efektif dengan tingkat komplikasi minimal, disertai penerimaan yang baik dari peserta dan pendamping berkat edukasi yang komprehensif. Kegiatan ini juga berhasil mengintegrasikan aspek medis dan sosial budaya, yang menjadi faktor krusial dalam keberlanjutan intervensi kesehatan masyarakat. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan holistik, kolaboratif, dan berbasis komunitas sangat diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan hasil intervensi kesehatan anak. Rekomendasi penelitian ini menekankan perlunya replikasi model serupa di wilayah lain guna memperkuat strategi nasional dalam penurunan morbiditas terkait infeksi saluran kemih dan peningkatan kesehatan reproduksi sejak usia dini. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh job demand (JD) terhadap psychological wellbeing (PWB) dengan burnout (BO) sebagai variabel mediasi pada karyawan PT Semen Padang. Latar belakang didasarkan pada tingginya tuntutan kerja di industri manufaktur yang berpotensi menurunkan kesejahteraan psikologis karyawan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 247 responden. Data dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Squares (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa JD tidak berpengaruh langsung signifikan terhadap PWB, namun berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap BO. BO sendiri berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap PWB, serta berperan sebagai mediator penuh dalam hubungan antara JD dan PWB. Implikasi penelitian menekankan pentingnya manajemen JD dan intervensi BO untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis karyawan di lingkungan industri yang menuntut.

Abstract

In the face of increasing digital competition, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are required to adapt by implementing technology-based promotional strategies to strengthen their market presence and boost sales performance. This study aims to examine the influence of digital promotional strategies on the sales of food products at Kedai JAM, an MSME located in Muara Sabak Timur, Jambi. Utilizing a quantitative approach with a causal research design, primary data were collected through questionnaires from 90 consumers who had been exposed to the business’s promotional content on Facebook. The instrument measured key dimensions of promotional strategy namely attractiveness, promotional media, consistency, and creativity while sales performance was evaluated based on sales volume, revenue, purchase frequency, and new customer acquisition. The results of the regression equation obtained were Y = 6.604 + 0.880X, with a significance value of 0.000 and thitung 12.243 > ttabel 1.662, which means that there is a significant influence of promotional strategies on sales levels. A determination coefficient (R²) value of 0.630 indicates that 63% of sales variations were influenced by promotional strategies, while 37% were influenced by other factors outside the study. These findings suggest that Facebook functions not only as an efficient promotional medium but also as a strategic marketing platform capable of influencing consumer behavior and expanding market reach. This study offers practical insights for MSME promotion strategies and contributes to the theoretical discourse on digital marketing within the context of community-based entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This research examines settlement patterns along the Kapuas River, particularly in Kelurahan Dalam Bugis, East Pontianak, which is characterized by rapid but unplanned growth. The research objectives include: (1) describe the settlement pattern formed in the area, and (2) identify the factors that influence it. The method used was descriptive qualitative with primary data collection through observation and in-depth interviews, as well as secondary data from literature studies. The results of the analysis show two main patterns: a Linier pattern that follows the path and an organic pattern that develops naturally without a standard spatial layout. Shaping factors include the socio-economic characteristics of the community (port dependency and informal employment), natural conditions (flat topography but affected by waste accumulation), building characteristics (semi-permanent with wooden pile foundations), and infrastructure and accessibility constraints (narrow roads, minimal sanitation and clean water). These settlements also face the risk of flooding, poor sanitation and high density. Therefore, there is a need for integrated spatial planning, legalization of land rights, improvement of basic infrastructure and sustainable environmental management to create safer and more orderly settlements.

Abstract

Teachers’ Interests and Competencies in Doing Research: Sequential Exploratory Analysis in Elementary School Teacher. Objectives: This study aims to look at teacher research competencies, teacher’s interest in conducting research, and the influence of that teacher’s interest toward teacher research competencies. Methods: This research is mixed research with a sequential explanatory approach, which Quantitative data followed by qualitative data. The sample in this study amounted to 129 teachers, which were obtained with a multi-stage sampling technique. Findings: The results show that the teacher’s research competence and interest in researching were categorized as fair or still lacking. Further analysis showed that the teacher’s interest influenced teacher research competence by 52.2%. Furthermore, the interview results show that some teachers have problems in doing research, such as lack of literature access, and lack of understanding of how to do research. Conclusion: Thus, it can be concluded that the research competence of teachers and the interest of teachers in researching is still relatively low.Keywords: teachers’ interest and competencies, elementary school teachers, factor analysis.DOI: 10.23960/jpp.v10.i2.202006
