Abstract

Abstract: Stunting mitigation is a critical public health issue demanding structured interventions, yet limited resources necessitate an objective determination of priority locations. This research aims to design a Decision Support System (DSS) to determine the priority order for stunting intervention across 11 sub-districts (kelurahan) in Kecamatan X. The Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method was employed, chosen for its stable capability in processing both Benefit and Cost criteria. The criteria evaluated include Stunting Prevalence Rate (Cost), Number of Toddlers (Benefit), and Posyandu Accessibility (Cost), as well as the Percentage of Proper Sanitation and Maternal Education (Benefit). The MOORA calculation yielded an optimization value for each sub-district. Based on the simulation results, [Sub-district 10] and [Sub-district 11] secured the highest ranks, indicating that these two areas are the most optimal and urgent for prioritization. This DSS provides quantitative recommendations that can assist policymakers in allocating budgets efficiently and precisely to accelerate stunting reduction in Kecamatan X.Keyword: Decision Support System (DSS), Stunting, Intervention Prioritization, MOORA Method (Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis), Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM).Abstrak: Penanganan stunting merupakan isu kesehatan masyarakat yang memerlukan intervensi terstruktur, namun keterbatasan sumber daya menuntut adanya penentuan prioritas lokasi yang objektif.

Abstract

Up till now, denture has been widely used for resolving dental problems, especially those due to attrition. The attrition of tooth enamel could lead to wear and lowering the functions of normal teeth. So far, denture is made conventionally by using heat curing method in a mold. However, the complex geometries of teeth and oral cavity has led to the use of the more advanced techniques, such as additive manufacturing. In this research, the denture material fabricated by using digital light processing (DLP) additive manufacturing was studied in term of their liquid absorption capability and wear behavior. The specimen was printed with three build orientations, namely 0°/180°, 90°/90°, and 45°/135°. These are the degree between printing direction against sliding direction. An immersion and wear test were carried out in artificial saliva liquid. The result showed the lowest weight gain and dimensional change in the specimens printed with 90°/90° and 45°/135°. Meanwhile, the specimens prepared with build orientation of 0°/180° or printed with layer parallel to sliding direction demonstrated the smallest value of wear factor, indicating a better wear resistance compared to the others. A visual examination of the worn surface indicated delamination, abrasion and cracking as the possible wear mechanisms of the printed denture materials.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Leadership Style and Reward on Performance Assessment with Discipline as an intervening variable in PT Pelindomulti Terminal Branch Belawan. This type of research is quantitative research with a causal associative approach. The population in this study is all organic and non-organic employees of PT Pelindomulti Terminal Branch Belawan which totals 276 employees. The determination of the number of samples refers to Arikunto's opinion by setting the sample at 25% and obtained 92 respondents who were selected using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out through a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1-5, as well as a documentation study. The data analysis technique uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a Partial Least Square (PLS) approach through SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of the study showed that work discipline had an effect on performance assessment, leadership style had an effect on work discipline but did not have a direct effect on performance assessment, and rewards had an effect on work discipline and performance assessment. In addition, work discipline has been shown to mediate the influence of leadership style on performance assessment, but does not mediate the effect of rewards on performance assessment. This research emphasizes the importance of the role of work discipline as a connecting channel between leadership and performance, as well as the need for the management of a reward system that is in line with employee performance achievements. The results of this study also show that the research model has strong predictive ability with an R² value of 78.7% for Work Discipline and 82.3% for Performance Assessment. This study concludes that Leadership Style is the strongest predictor in shaping employee work discipline, and this high discipline then improves employee performance

Abstract

This study explores elementary school teachers’ perceptions, attitudes, and readiness toward implementing environment-based education, a pedagogical approach that integrates environmental awareness and sustainability into classroom practices. It also compares these variables based on teachers’ participation in relevant training or prior experience and examines the relationships between them. A quantitative survey approach was employed involving 161 public elementary school teachers from North Sumatra, Indonesia. Data were gathered using structured self-report questionnaires and analyzed through descriptive statistics, the Mann-Whitney U test, and Spearman’s Rho correlation analysis to identify differences and associations between key factors. The findings reveal that teachers generally hold high to very high levels of perception, positive attitudes, and readiness for environment-based education. Teachers who had participated in training or had prior experience showed significantly higher scores in aspects such as self-efficacy, availability of teaching documents, and willingness to implement environment-based learning. Strong correlations were found among key variables, particularly between teaching resources, institutional policy, and teacher confidence. These results emphasize the importance of professional development and institutional support in fostering effective environmental education practices among teachers. The study offers valuable insights for policymakers, curriculum developers, and school administrators aiming to strengthen environmental education initiatives in primary schools.
