Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of students' soft skills & hard skills in facing work readiness with self-efficacy as an intervening variable in students of the 2019 batch of Management Study Program students at the Faculty of Economics and Business at Jambi University. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were all 183 students of the Bachelor of Management Study Program class of 2019 with a sample of 65 people. Data was collected using a questionnaire. The research data analysis method is descriptive statistical analysis using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) technique, with Partial Least Square (PLS) as a processing tool using the SmartPLS program. The results of this study indicate that soft skills havent a positive andnot significant effect on work readiness, hard skills havent a positive and not significant effect on work readiness, self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on work readiness, soft skills have a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy, hard skills have an effect positive and significant on self-efficacy, then soft skills have a positive and significant effect on work readiness through self-efficacy, and hard skills have a positive and significant effect on work readiness through self-efficacy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Empowering Leadership dan Employee Engagement, terhadap Turnover karyawan dengan stress kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Populasi target penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. Home Center Indonesia (INFORMA) cabang Jambi sebanyak 123 orang. Sampel penelitian adalah sampling jenuh dimana seluruh karyawan merupakan sampel pada penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey dan menggunakan analisis data Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Empowering Leadership berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Turnover karyawan dan Employee Engagement berpengaruh negatif tidak signifkan terhadap Turnover karyawan. Empowering Leadership dan Employee Engagement berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap stress kerja karyawan. Stress kerja karyawan memperkuat pengaruh Employee Engagement terhadap Turnover karyawan, namun tidak memperkuat pengaruh Empowering Leadership terhadap Turnover karyawan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh langsung motivasi kerja, stress kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Tebo. Selain itu juga menganalisis pengaruh tidak langsung motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui stress kerja. Dalam riset ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan mengolah data primer yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Tebo. Sampel yang diambil sejumlah 60 responden yang diuji dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) PLS. Berdasarkan hasil daripada pengujian memperoleh hasil: 1). Terdapat pengaruh langsung yang positif signifikan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. 2) terdapat pengaruh langsung yang negative signifikan stress kerja terhadap kinerja. 3) terdapat pengaruh langsung yang negative signifikan motivasi kerja terhadap stress kerja. 4) tidak terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui stress kerja.

Abstract

The pupose of this study was to examine and determine the effect of reward and recognition to increase in-role and extra-role behavior of employees mediated by employee engagement at Petrochina International Jabung Ltd. – Jambi. The sample used in as many as 81 respondents. Data collection and the method used is a method with a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability then measured using a likert scale and the hypothesis is then analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares Path Modeling (PLS-SEM) components. The results of statistical analysis prove that direct rewards have an insignificant effect on in-role and extra-role behavior and have no significant effect on employee engagement. Recognition directly has an insignificant effect on in-role and extra-role behavior and has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement. The results of statistical analysis also prove that employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on in-role and extra-role behavior. For the mediating effect of the employee engagement variable, it is proven that employee engagement can mediate the indirect influence relationship between recognition on in-role and extra-role behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to examines the remuneration and recognition in influencing work engagement to increase lecturers’ workload. The research design used survey research with quantitative research. Sources of data in this study using a structured questionnaire. The target population in this study were lecturers who received remuneration (PNS) at Jambi University, the research sample amounted to 89 lecturers. The software used is smart-PLS. The results showed that remuneration has no effect to the lecturer's workload, recognition has an effect to the lecturer's workload, remuneration has no effect to work engagement, remuneration has no effect to work engagement in improving lecturer’s workload, recognition has an effect to lecturer’s work engagement, work engagement has an effect to the lecturer's workload, recognition has an effect to work engagement in improving lecturer’s workload. The remuneration has no effect to work engagement in improving lecturer’s workload, it is necessary to practice strong management in implementing remuneration so that it can be perceived as well as recognition which is able to create prosperity and strong attachment in carrying out their duties as a lecturer.

Abstract

Strategic management is very important in managing an organization, because it can differentiate how well an organization achieves its performance, can face all forms of change and every decision provides benefits for various forms and types of profit-oriented organizations, government institutions, health and other organizations. other non-profits. Strategy is a process of implementing planning to achieve the organization's long-term goals by involving various existing resources. The Strategic Management course is a course designed to provide students with an understanding so they can implement a series of managerial decisions and actions in determining company performance in the long term. After students complete this strategic management course, students are expected to understand strategic management in terms of environmental observation, strategy formulation (strategic planning or long-term planning), strategy implementation, and evaluation/control. In addition, students are able to consider the implications of organizational strategy for the entire human resource system in the organization by translating organizational goals into specific resource management systems.Keywords: Case Methode, Management, Strategy.

Abstract

In today's technological era, digital leadership is necessary for organizational success in facing environmental and technological alteration. This study aims to map digital leadership research using the Open Knowledge Maps platform to find and build cluster visualizations. Moreover, using Open Knowledge Maps as a research analysis tool is rare. The data used is a research paper from 2015-2024 with high metadata quality. This study found 15 clusters related to digital leadership, and most research on digital leadership is carried out in the education field. In addition, this digital leadership study also searches for its effect on employee performance. This study implies that it can find research gaps that can be helpful for future research as the basis for further research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi dan karakteristik individu terhadap motivasi kerja dan kinerja pegawai, serta untuk menganalisis motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai pada Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Riau dengan jumlah 56 orang. Dimana teknik penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Sampling Jenuh (Sampling Sensus), sehingga jumlah sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah 56 responden. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey dan menggunakan analisis data Partial Least Square (PLS). Namun sebelum analisis, terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji outer model melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Selanjutnya melakukan uji Inner Model melalui uji R-Square (Coefficient of determination), dan F-Square (f2 effect size). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi dan karakteristik individu memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui motivasi kerja. Hal ini menjelaskan bahwasanya jika Dinas Pendidikan Indragiri Hilir Riau memiliki budaya yang kuat, serta didukung dengan adanya karakteristik individu yang baik, maka hal ini akan meningkatkan motivasi pegawai dalam bekerja. Jika pegawai telah memiliki motivasi yang tinggi dalam bekerja, maka hal ini secara tidak langsung akan memberikan dampak pada hasil hasil kerja pegawai yang optimal.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh knowledge management dan transformational leadership terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui kepuasan kerja mampu menjadi variabel intervening antara knowlede management dan transformational leadership terhadap kinerja pegawai Puskesmas Kabupaten Merangin. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 56 orang. Teknik penarikan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah total sampling. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan survey lapangan dengan wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa knowledge managment tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja sedangkan transformational leadership berpengaruh positif dan signifikan; knowledge management berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja sedangkan transformational leadership tidak berpengaruh signifikan; kepuasan kerja tidak mampu menjadi variabel intervening antara knowledge management dan transformational leadership terhadap kinerja.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to see the extent of the role of Human Resource Management (HRM) in the Digital Era. The method used in this research is "systematic literature review (SLR)". The results of the study are that human resources can create value and need to be seen as an important part of interdepartmental business analysis. methodology used to view the perceptions of human resource management researchers regarding the function or role of human resource management in the digital world. These are all interrelated and will have a multiplier effect on improving individual and organizational performance. In conclusion, effective and appropriate Human Resources are needed so that individual and organizational performance can improve optimally and sustainably.
