Abstract

This study highlights the importance of contextual interpretation in the dissemination of ḥadīths on social media, particularly regarding gender dynamics in marriage. Focusing on the frequently cited ḥadīth about “the wife’s denial of her husband’s kindness,” this research explores how such texts, when shared without adequate context, contribute to gender-biased narratives and reinforce patriarchal stereotypes in online spaces. Employing a netnographic approach, the study examines interactions on Instagram accounts @thesunnah_path and @khalidbasalamahofficial, revealing interpretive patterns which are often lacking critical engagement. To counter this, the research applies the mubādalah framework—an egalitarian hermeneutic emphasizing reciprocity and mutual responsibility in marital relationships. Findings show that decontextualized ḥadīth dissemination risks misinterpretation and exacerbates gender imbalances, while mubādalah offers a constructive alternative that promotes gender justice and equitable values. The study calls for more inclusive and context-aware approaches in digital da‘wa, ensuring that religious teachings align with contemporary ethical and social realities. It affirms the need for transformative interpretive models to prevent religious discourse from being misused or misunderstood in today’s digital age.

Abstract

Jenis tindak tutur yang dominan dilakukan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dapat  mempengaruhi aktivitas belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan memetakan jenis tindak tutur direktif guru dan siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP Negeri 1 Jaken..Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan pragmatik. Sumber datanya adalah tuturan guru dan siswa dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode simak, catat, rekam. Peneliti tidak terlibat dalam proses interaksi pembelajaran.Teknik uji validitas yang diterapkan adalah triangulasi teori dan metode. Adapun analisis data dilakukan teknik analisis mengalir yang meliputi kegiatan reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tuturan direktif yang sering digunakan oleh guru adalah menyuruh. Jenis tuturan direktif yang digunakan adalah tuturan langsung bermodus imperatif dan  efek yang ditimbulkan adalah efek positif mendorong.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Large Language Models (LLMs) in the past six years, coupled with widespread adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, necessitates the critical assessment of collective readiness, especially among the youth population. This study aims to examine the coverage of academic literature that addresses key issues in youth AI literacy. To achieve this, a combined methodology of Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA framework and Bibliometric analysis (B-SLR) is undertaken using Scopus-indexed data and software such as Watase Uake, VOSviewer, and Bibliometrix to highlight emerging issues in AI literacy research. Based on the synthesis of 38 journal articles published between 2022-2025 from Q1-Q2 tier, this paper proposes an ABC AI Literacy framework for youth (Algorithmic Acumen, Building & Co-creation, and Critical Consciousness) that explains key aspects of recent AI literacy research. Furthermore, this paper highlights under-researched issues in the literature to inform academics for possible future research directions. These findings urge policymakers, educators, and other stakeholders to support more research in this area, especially in regions such as Africa and Southeast Asia. The main limitation of this study is that the evaluation will rely on qualitative thematic analysis, rather than quantitative analysis.

Abstract

This study maps the trajectory of academic discourse on global Salafism (2000–2025) using a mixed-methods approach integrating bibliometric analysis and critical review. Quantitative findings reveal a radical "epistemic decentralization" and structural shift. Geographically, the Global North’s hegemony is eroding; Indonesia (46 papers) has emerged as the closest competitor to the US (50), with UIN Sunan Kalijaga ranking as the world’s most productive institution (8 papers), surpassing elite Western universities. Bibliometric mapping further reveals a shift in knowledge structure: the discourse has transitioned from dense “terrorism” and “security” clusters toward “social movement,” “gender,” and “digital identity” nodes. Authorial authority is polycentric, led jointly by scholars like Cavatorta, Duderija, Pall, and Wagemakers, without a single dominant figure. Qualitatively, the discourse evolved in three phases: (1) The Security Phase (2000–2010), dominated by perspectives viewing Salafism solely as a source of terror post-9/11; (2) The Fragmentation Phase (2010–2020), driven by the Arab Spring, highlighting internal divisions and digital activism; and (3) The "Post-Salafism" Era (2021–2025), where the movement is domesticated by state nationalism and algorithmic discipline. The study concludes that Salafism is no longer a monolithic threat but a hybrid entity, requiring a digital sociological approach to understand its new adaptations.

Abstract

This article discusses the methodology of reading the Qur’an initiated by Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd. As part of Islamic discourse, especially in the Qur’an, Nasr Hamid’s approach has sparked various productive discussions in the academic world. The approach of Nasr Hamid does not only contain its own characteristics, more than that, it is possible to produce an understanding, which at a certain point, has a power of social transformation. Two important issues as an example of the results of the approach are provided with some analyses on the matter of inheritance and slavery. It then must be understood in various aspects and contexts, and thus prompted to emerge an ideal egalitarian community. In this, Nas}r H{a>mid calls his hermeneutic approach as dialectics between ma‘na and maghza.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation of the "Merdeka Belajar" (Freedom of Learning) curriculum at MA Nahdlatul Ulama and the challenges experienced. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, where data is obtained through in-depth interviews and field observations. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar curriculum at MA Nahdlatul Ulama begins with education and training. Subsequently, meetings are held and teams are formed for the development of the School Operational Curriculum (Kurikulum Operasional Satuan Pendidikan or KOSP). Learning is carried out based on project-based teaching modules (both short-term and long-term projects), and instruction is tailored to the characteristics of the students. Curriculum evaluation is conducted through diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments, with learning outcomes reported through report cards. Challenges in the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar curriculum include not all teachers fully understanding the curriculum. Insufficient literacy, references, and understanding among teachers in utilizing technology also serve as hindering factors in the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of differentiated instruction based on cooperative learning in reducing learning loss among elementary school students. Learning loss remains an educational challenge in Indonesia, influenced by low parental involvement, socio-economic limitations, unequal access to education, and unsupportive learning environments, which in turn affect students’ academic achievement, learning motivation, and social skills. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with a qualitative approach through the processes of collecting, reviewing, and synthesizing various literature sources relevant to differentiated instruction, cooperative learning, and learning loss at the elementary school level. The analyzed literature was drawn from national and international journals that discuss the implementation of adaptive and collaborative learning strategies. The findings indicate that cooperative learning is able to enhance social interaction, collaboration, and active student engagement in the learning process, while differentiated instruction enables teachers to adjust learning content, processes, and products according to students’ needs, readiness levels, and individual characteristics. The integration of these two approaches has been proven effective in increasing learning motivation, student participation, self-confidence, and equity in learning outcomes, thereby making a significant contribution to reducing learning loss and supporting learning recovery in elementary schools.
