Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pembelajaran e-learning menggunakan platform Schoology pada materi IPA khususnya pencemaran lingkungan terhadap kemandirian belajar dan hasil belajar siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Sampel ditentukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling sesuai kriteria yang ditentukan peneliti yaitu kelas VII E sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VII D sebagai kelas kontrol. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik berupa uji normalitas, uji independent sample t test, uji Mann Whitney U Test, dan uji t – pihak kanan. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemandirian belajar menggunakan lembar angket dan untuk mengukur hasil belajar menggunakan lembar tes pada penilaian ranah pengetahuan sedangkan penilaian ranah keterampilan menggunakan non tes berupa pembuatan laporan tertulis. Hasil analisis data pada kemandirian belajar tidak berdistribusi normal sehingga dilanjutkan menggunakan uji Mann Whitney U Test diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya ada perbedaan kemandirian belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol setelah pembelajaran e-learning menggunakan platform Schoology. Hasil analisis data pada hasil belajar berdistribusi normal sehingga dilanjutkan uji homogenitas. Hasil uji homogenitas pada ranah pengetahuan 0,118 > 0,05 yang artinya data homogen, sedangkan pada ranah keterampilan sebesar 0,004 < 0,05 yang artinya data tidak homogen. Analisis data selanjutnya menggunakan uji independent sample t test diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 pada ranah pengetahuan dan 0,025 < 0,05 pada ranah keterampilan yang artinya ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol karena pembelajaran e-learning menggunakan platform Schoology.

Abstract

IPA yang merupakan salah satu materi pembelajaran yang mudah dipelajari melalui pengamatan langsung tetap membutuhkan sebuah media untuk menyampaikan isi dari suatu materi dan juga dapat digunakan untuk menarik rasa ingin tahu siswa, selain itu beberapa materi yang bersifat abstrak pun juga dapat divisualisasikan dengan konkret. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan video animasi tekanan zat cair untuk hasil belajar SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperiment dengan desain Post-test Only Control Design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri I Beji pada kelas VIII semester genap 2020/2021. Data hasil belajar diperoleh melalui instrumen tes berupa pilihan ganda dan uraian. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul pemanasan global berbasis creative problem solving yang valid untuk digunakan siswa SMP kelas VII. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu tahap analisis (analysis), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (development), tahap implementasi (implementation), dan tahap evaluasi (evaluation). Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan melalui proses validasi e-modul oleh validator ahli. Data yang diperoleh dilakukan analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelas yaitu kelas VII B dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 32 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa e-modul pemanasan global berbasis creative problem solving memenuhi kriteria kevalidan yaitu valid konstruk dan valid isi yang tertuang dalam 8 aspek penilaian meliputi aspek relevansi materi, aspek pengorganisasian materi, aspek evaluasi, aspek bahasa, aspek efek bagi strategi pembelajaran, aspek rekayasa perangkat lunak, aspek tampilan visual, dan aspek pengorganisasian e-modul. E-modul pemanasan global berbasis creative problem solving dinyatakan valid dengan memperoleh rata-rata persentase skor penilaian dari 3 validator ahli sebesar 95,71% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa e-modul pemanasan global berbasis creative problem solving yang dikembangkan valid untuk digunakan sebagai salah satu media alternatif dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

Kelompok tani agung wilis merupakan kumpulan para petani yang khusus menanam buah naga dan terletak di Desa Jambewangi, Kecamatan Sempu, Kabupaten Banyuwangi, Provinsi Jawa Timur. Sesuai dengan data yang didapatkan tahun 2021, jumlah anggota kelompok tani tersebut sejumlah 50 anggota dengan luas lahan ± 75 Ha dan mampu menghasilkan 525 ton buah naga. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi, observasi, dan analisis situasi didapatkan data sebagai berikut: (1) anggota kelompok tani ini mempunyai jiwa enterpreneur yang masih rendah; (2) anggota kelompok tani ini menggantungkan penghasian dari berjualan buah naga; (3) belum ada pemberdayaan sejenis yang memberikan pembekalan kepada petani untuk mengolah buah naga menjadi produk makanan mie; (4) banyak istri petani yang menganggur sehingga membutuhkan pembekalan keterampilan khususnya dalam mengkreasi potensi lokal; (5) Desa Jambewangi Kabupaten Banyuwangi merupakan bagian dari desa yang menjadikan pariwisata sebagai program BUMDes untuk mengenalkan potensi lokal. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi kelompok tani agung wilis melalui pemberdayaan dengan produk unggulan mie nogo oseng. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dari kelompok tani agung wilis untuk mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan ini. Kelompok tani agung wilis memiliki pemahaman dan keterampilan baru dalam mengolah buah naga menjadi produk unggulan yaitu mie nogo oseng dan dapat meningkatkan nilai jualnya.

Abstract

Junior high school students find it difficult to understand the materials and the concepts in science learning because the teaching method that is too monotonous. It is the lecturing method where students are less involved in learning activities, and this has led to the decline in students’ learning outcomes in science learning. The use of media and learning models play an important role. The popular media in learning are modern media, in this case PhET application. This application can give the impression of a direct experiment among students without ignoring technological developments where IT is needed by students. This study aims to identify students' conceptions on concepts. The type of this research was a library research. This study used the VAK learning model (Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic). In the VAK learning model, the teacher can combine three teaching-learning styles. 1) The teacher will prioritize the demonstration or the media by showing the teaching tools directly to the students and describing them on the board. 2) In learning by listening, the teacher must be able to explain clearly and in detail so that the students can understand the material presented. 3) In learning practice, after the students listen and learn through physical activity and direct involvement, they must conduct a direct experiment to gain deeper understanding of the materials. In this library research, the researchers searched for some references related to the research.

Abstract

The use of media in learning science is still rarely used which affects students’ perception that science is a difficult subject, and results in low students’ learning outcomes. Using natural phenomena videos is a medium used to facilitate students in learning science. The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness of using natural phenomenon videos to improve the learning outcomes of pressure material in junior high school (SMP). This research used a quantitative descriptive study that aimed to see the effect of using media in improving the students’ learning outcomes. The design of the study used one group pre-test-post-test design. The data collection technique was a test of learning outcomes, where N-Gain used for the calculation analysis of learning outcomes. The results showed an increase in students’ learning outcomes after treated using natural phenomena videos on pressure material learning by 0.5977 that included in the medium category. Thus, learning using natural phenomena videos was effective in improving the students’ learning outcomes on pressure material in the medium category.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to find out how energy literacy skills in high school students while using the Collaborative Creativity (CC) learning model. This type of research is descriptive research. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. Place of research in Mumbulsari 1 Public High School. The class used is class X MIPA 3 using Collaborative Creativity (CC) learning model and class X MIPA 2 using conventional models commonly used by teachers. The research instruments were observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Analysis of research data for energy literacy skills is by using the formula for energy literacy scoring which will then be interpreted into guidelines that will be the criteria for students' energy literacy abilities. Based on the results of the analysis it can be said that the energy literacy ability of high school students while using the Collaborative Creativity (CC) learning model is good.Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Collaborative Creativity (CC), Literasi Energi

Abstract

AbstractThe guided inquiry learning model accompanied by scaffolding prompting questioning is learning that directs the learning process in problem solving and makes students active in solving problems through instructions from scaffolding. The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of guided inquiry learning models accompanied by scaffolding prompting questioning of students' science process skills for straight-motion material in high school. This type of research an experimental research conducted at Senior High School Pakusari in the X grade students in the even semester 2018/2019 academic year. Data collection techniques used in the research were documentation and tests. Data analysis using the independent sample t-test test with the help of SPSS 23. The results of the research showed that there was significant differences between the science process skills of students in the experimental class and the control class. The conclusion of this research was guided inquiry learning model accompanied by scaffolding prompting questioning has a significant effect on students' science process skills in physics learning for straight-motion material in high school.Key word: guided inquiry, scaffolding prompting questioning, science process skills.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using Cloud Classroom (CCR) on science material, especially the interaction of living things with their environment on communication skills and critical thinking of junior high school students. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a post-test only control group design. The sample of this study was class VII B as the experimental class and VII C as the control class. The research instrument used was observation to measure communication skills and tests to measure critical thinking. The data obtained were analyzed using statistical tests. The results of data analysis on the observation of communication skills were not normally distributed so that it was continued using the Mann Whitney U Test, a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained, which means that there was a significant difference in the average observation of the experimental class and the control class. The results of data analysis on critical thinking were normally distributed so that the independent sample t test continued with a significance value of 0.007 <0.05, which means that there was a significant difference in the average post-test scores of critical thinking students in the experimental class and the control class. Next, the right-hand t-test was carried out and the results obtained thitung (2.837) ttabel (1.677) which means the average score of critical thinking in the experimental class is better than the control class.

Abstract

The inquiry learning model is a learning model that encourages student activity in learning activities. This inquiry learning model is accompanied by one of the learning media namely pictorial riddle in the form of puzzle images. This study aims to examine the effect of science learning with inquiry learning models accompanied by pictorial riddle relation to critical thinking skills of junior high school students. This type of research is an experiment using a pre-test post-test control group design. The study population was Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Ambulu, sampling using a homogeneity test. The data analysis technique uses Independent samples t-test. The results of the Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test showed that both samples were normally distributed, so the hypothesis test uses a parametric statistical test called the Independent Sample T-test. Based on the results of the Independent Sample T-test, there is a significant influence on the results of critical thinking skills.
