Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakter siswa terhadap LKS inkuiri terbimbing berorientasi nilai-nilai keislaman. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Islam Raudlatul Falah Pati, pada kelas VII-A tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Karakter siswa setelah pembelajaran menggunakan LKS inkuiri terbimbing berorientasi nilai-nilai keislaman mengalami peningkatan sebesar 8,13%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profil scientific reasoning ability dan korelasinya terhadap hasil penilaian akhir semester mata pelajaran IPA. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 64 peserta didik kelas VIII semester ganjil SMP Negeri 3 Jombang yang diambil menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif dan survai dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian ini yaitu soal yang diadaptasi dari Lawson’s Classroom Test of Scientific Reasoning (LCTSR) yang terdiri atas 12 soal konten dan 12 soal beralasan serta survai yang dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data hasil penilaian akhir semester peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan profil scientific reasoning ability peserta didik dalam kategori kurang dengan nilai rata-rata 38,28% untuk keseluruhan dimensi indikator, 58 orang peserta didik berhasil mencapai kategori concrate, 5 orang berhasil mencapai kategori early transitional dan 1 orang mencapai kategori late transitional. Hasil uji normalitas data diperoleh bahwa data tidak berdistribusi normal sebesar 2,96 dan 5,16 untuk data hasil penilaian akhir semester serta data scientific reasoning ability, hasil uji anova linearity diperoleh hasil bahwa (0,091 ≥ 0,05) menunjukan adanya hubungan antara keduanya. Hasil korelasi antara scientific reasoning ability dan hasil penilaian akhir semester peserta didik yaitu terdapat hubungan yang sangat signifikan kearah positif (+) sebesar 0,023 < 0,05, akan tetapi kekuatan korelasi antara keduaya sangat lemah.

Abstract

Multi-representation ability is one of the important skills to be developed. One of them is because it can play a role in helping students master the material being taught. In science subjects, one of the materials that uses quite diverse forms of representation is simple planes. This shows that there is a possibility that students' multi-representation abilities will affect students' understanding of the material. In addition, another factor that can influence is the adversity quotient of students. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the students' multi-representation ability on simple plane material in terms of Adversity Quotient Aspects. The research method used is a mixed method with a sequential explanatory design. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII G UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Bangkalan with a total of 30 students. The research instrument used was a multi-representation ability test and interview guidelines. The results of this study are the high category of multi-representation abilities consisting of 4 students, the medium category consisting of 22 students, and the low category consisting of 4 students with an average test score of 58.33. The results of the interview show that students' multi-representation abilities and understanding of simple plane materials support and influence each other. Students with multi-representation abilities and good understanding of the material can easily understand the questions given and can also give correct answers, thus obtaining high test scores. owever, the adversity quotient is not always directly proportional to student test results.

Abstract

Abstract This research was conducted because there are still many junior high school students who have lowargumentation skills so the purpose of this study is to improve students' argumentation skills with theArgument Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning model. The research method was included in the Pre-experimentwith One Group Pretest-posttest Design which was carried out at Al-Hamidiyah Blega Junior High Schoolfor the 2021/2022 Academic Year. Data collection techniques are carried out through tests, questionnaires,observation, and documentation. Furthermore, the hypothesis test was carried out using paired samplet-test. The results showed that there were differences in the results of the implementation of the ADIlearning model toward the students' argumentation skills with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, then H0was rejected and H1 was accepted. The results of calculating the n-gain score using SPSS have an averagescore of 0.66 with moderate criteria. Student responses positively toward the implementation of the ADIlearning model with an average score of 84.15; The implementation of the ADI learning model obtained ascore of 88% with a good category. It can be concluded that the implementation of the Argument DrivenInquiry learning model can improve students' argumentation skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap peduli lingkungan siswa dengan implementasi pembelajaran IPA terpadu tipe nested berpendekatan SETS pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif desain Pre Experiment dengan bentuk One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 1 Klampis berjumlah 22 siswa semester genap tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan angket sikap peduli lingkungan sebanyak 25 item pernyataan dengan indikator pengelolaan sampah, sikap terhadap energi, sikap terhadap air udara dan tanah, sikap terhadap flora dan fauna, sikap terhadap manusia dan lingkungan sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Sikap peduli lingkungan siswa sebelum pembelajaran berada pada kategori rendah dan baik, sedangkan setelah pembelajaran berada pada kategori baik dan sangat baik. 2) Rata-rata sikap peduli lingkungan siswa sebelum pembelajaran sebesar 69,09 dan setelah pembelajaran meningkat menjadi 83,17. 3) Uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa Signifikansi 0,000 0,05 dapat dikatakan ada perbedaan sikap peduli lingkungan siswa sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis miskonsepsi siswa pada materi getaran, gelombang, dan bunyi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIII-A UPTD SMPN 1 Tragah yang berjumlah 30 siswa semester genap tahun ajaran 2021/2022 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel ialah purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes berupa five-tier diagnostic test. Hasil tes siswa kemudian dianalisis menjadi 6 kategori yaitu, paham konsep (SC), paham konsep sebagian (ASC), kurang pengetahuan (LK), tidak paham konsep (NU), miskonsepsi (MSC), dan eror (UnC). Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh persentase siswa yang paham konsep sebesar 8,33%, paham konsep sebagian sebesar 0,67%, kurang pengetahuan sebesar 44,67%, tidak paham konsep sebesar 4,00%, miskonsepsi sebesar 38,33%, dan eror sebesar 4,00%.

Abstract

his study aims to determine the generic science skills of students before and after learning using the Experiential Learning learning model. The research method in this study used a pre-experiment in the form of One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. The research instrument used was using a generic science test, student response questionnaires and observation sheets using the purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used paired sample t test. Based on the results of the study, it was found that (1) the Experiential Learning Model had an influence in training students generic science skills as evidenced by the significance obtained, namely 0.000 <0.05, (2) The average learning implementation of the Experiential The learning model was 100% with a very good category,Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Experiential learning model has an influence on students' generic science skills so that the learning process is important to implement in other materials.

Abstract

Science literacy is a means for students to practice scientific thinking to solve problems in everyday life. Discovery learning with Madura Ethnoscience approach can improve scientific literacy skills. The aim was to determine the students' scientific literacy profile by applying discovery learning with the Madura ethnoscience approach. The study design used the one-shot case study method. The research subjects were 27 students of SMP Negeri 1 Labang Bangkalan Madura. Data collection used scientific literacy questions in the form of essay questions. Research showed students' scientific literacy skills based on the results of the literacy test, results obtained an average value of 67.93% with an average functional level of 71%, conceptual and procedural 65%, and multidimensional 66%. The average level of student's literacy ability is at level 3 of 10 students; level 4 as many as two students; level 5 as many as ten students; and five students are at level 6. The ability to explain phenomena scientifically, evaluate and investigate scientific, and interpret data and scientific evidence was based differences in each level in the aspect of competence.

Abstract

Documentary film is a film based on true events. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility and response of students to documentary films. This research is a development research using the ADDIE model. The results of the material validation results obtained a score of 90% anda reliability of 92,6%.  Media validation results obtained a score of 96% and 98% reliabilty. Based on the validation results, it is known that documentary films are suitable for use. While the results of the average lift the response of students get a score 80,38% (good) so that it can be concluded that students are interested in learning environmental pollution materials using documentaries.
