Abstract

Every day waste production is increasing along with the increase in the number of products and people's consumption patterns. What must be done to overcome the increase in waste volume is to reduce the volume of waste from the source through waste management from the community itself. The problem in community participation regarding waste management using the 3R method in Mampari Village, Balangan Regency is what form of community participation in waste management and the level of participation in community waste management. Research on waste reduction using the 3R method in Mampari Village aims to: (1) describe the forms of community participation in Mampari Village. (2) describe the level of participation of the Mampari Village community, data collection includes interviews, observation and documentation, while data analysis uses quantitative descriptive techniques. Based on the research results, one form of community participation in efforts to reduce waste using the 3R method is by providing contributions in the form of energy, goods and money as well as community service and participating in waste management. Apart from that, they also hold community meetings once a month, which are attended by several residents. The level of community participation that occurs in Mampari Village according to the category is low, the only community members who participate are village mobilizers consisting of 10-15 people so that the implementation of waste management is very lacking and still not optimal

Abstract

Abstract

The Indonesian archipelago is located on the subduction tectonic plate path, the existence of the Indonesian archipelago is on the subduction tectonic plate path, the existence of this subduction process makes the Indonesian archipelago vulnerable to earthquakes of both low and high magnitude. A violent plate collision or shift accompanied by an earthquake in the ocean has the potential to cause a tsunami. The South Coast of Malang is a beach located in the south of Java Island and is one of the beaches directly facing the zubduction zone which causes a high frequency of earthquake events and can even trigger tsunamis in this area. This research aims to determine community preparedness in facing the threat of the tsunami disaster using data collection methods in the form of interviews, questionnaires, field observations and literature studies. The research results show that community preparedness in Tambakrejo Village, especially in Sendang Biru Hamlet, is still relatively low with a lack of basic community knowledge about disasters and potential disasters around them.

Abstract

The application of learning using the kahoot game media can be applied to improve student learning outcomes. This research is aimed at finding out the effect of using the Kahoot learning game media on student learning outcomes. The population of this research is class XII IPS 2 students at SMAN 1 Rantau Badauh, with a total of 22 students. The research carried out is included in the type of experimental research. The method in this research is Pre-Experimental Design (Pre-Experimental Design) using a quantitative approach with a series of One-Group Pretest-Posttest research. The results of the research using the N-Gain test are an average value of 56.4989 or 56%, which is quite effective and according to the N-Gain category is moderate. Based on the hypothesis using a paired difference test (Paired Sample t-Test) it is known that the Sig value. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So the conclusion is that there is a difference in the average of pretest and posttest learning outcomes, meaning that there is an influence on the use of the Kahoot learning game media on student learning outcomes to increase preparedness in facing forest and land fire disasters in class XII IPS 2 at SMAN 1 Rantau Badauh.
