Abstract

This study is entitled "Educator Recruitment Planning at the High School Level". This study aims to analyze the planning of educator recruitment at the high school level and the supporting and inhibiting factors of educator recruitment planning at the high school level. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive approach using qualitative research types. In this study, the research informants were the Principal, the Vice Principal of Curriculum and the Head of Administration. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. While the techniques used in data analysis were data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and conclusion drawing. The test of the validity of this research data used source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the planning of educator recruitment at the high school level has been running quite well. The results of this study can be seen in the formulation of the current situation in the preparation of new educator recruitment, the distribution of new educator recruitment announcements, the acceptance of new educator applications, and the selection of applicants, the determination in the preparation of new educator recruitment, the distribution of new educator recruitment announcements, the acceptance of new educator applications and the selection of applicants. Identifying all the obstacles and facilitations in preparing for new teacher recruitment, distributing announcements, accepting new teacher applications, and selecting applicants. The inhibiting factors include the uncertain timing of teacher recruitment and the difficulty of obtaining competent teachers.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven changes in the learning process across various levels of education, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI). However, in practice, PAI learning is still often dominated by conventional methods such as lectures, memorization, and assignments, resulting in low student participation in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of the use of conventional teaching methods in PAI learning in Grade VII at State Islamic Junior High School 1 Palembang and to propose a solution through training teachers in the use of exemplary video media. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies involving teachers of Arabic, Qur’an Hadith, Fiqh, Islamic Cultural History (SKI), and Aqidah Akhlak. The results show that the dominance of lecture-based methods leads to low student participation in the learning process. The use of exemplary video media has been proven to enhance students’ learning motivation, improve their understanding of the material, and provide concrete examples in instilling Islamic values. Training teachers in the use of video media also plays a significant role in improving their pedagogical competence and digital literacy in developing innovative and contextual learning.Thus, the utilization of exemplary video media can serve as an innovative strategy to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning in schools.

Abstract

Education is an essential need in shaping superior human resources capable of facing global challenges. This study aims to examine human resource management (HRM) through the recruitment of lecturers and educational staff at STIT Muara Enim and its impact on the quality of education. The method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collected through non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The research informants consist of lecturers, educational staff, the head of STIT, and the head of the Quality Assurance Center. The results show that the recruitment process at STIT Muara Enim is systematic and structured, involving various parties in determining HR needs according to the institution’s vision and mission. The establishment of recruitment standards and criteria is carried out in a tiered manner with the support of formal documentation and supervision by the Quality Assurance Center. Continuous competency development and coaching are also important focuses to maintain the quality of teaching and educational staff. This study concludes that effective HR management through recruitment and professional development significantly contributes to enhancing the quality of education at STIT Muara Enim. Strategic recommendations are provided to strengthen HR management to support a quality and adaptive education system in line with the times.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational conflict and organizational culture on teacher performance at SD Negeri No. 035 Talang Ubi District, PALI Regency, both partially and simultaneously, as well as to identify the most dominant variable. This study employs a quantitative approach with a verificative research design. The population consists of all 32 teachers, and the sampling technique used is total sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results show that partially, organizational conflict has a significant effect on teacher performance with a significance value of 0.013, and organizational culture also has a significant effect with a significance value of 0.043. Simultaneously, organizational conflict and organizational culture have a significant effect on teacher performance with a significance value of 0.002. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.358 indicates that 35.8% of teacher performance is influenced by these two variables, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside this study. Organizational conflict is the most dominant variable affecting teacher performance. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that effective management of organizational conflict and the strengthening of a positive organizational culture are essential in improving teacher performance. Therefore, schools are expected to create a conducive working environment through constructive conflict management and the development of an organizational culture that supports teacher professionalism.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and internal communication on teacher performance at Islamic boarding schools in Lawang Wetan District. The study employed a quantitative approach using an ex post facto method and a verificative research design. The research population consisted of all teachers at Ash-Shiddiqiyah Islamic Boarding School and Riyadhul Iman Islamic Boarding School in Lawang Wetan District. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of the SPSS program. The results of the study indicate that partially, organizational culture does not have a significant effect on teacher performance. This is shown by the calculated t-value of 1.535, which is smaller than the t-table value of 1.994, with a significance level of 0.130 > 0.05. However, organizational culture still demonstrates a positive direction of influence on teacher performance. Meanwhile, internal communication has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with a calculated t-value of 4.275, which is greater than the t-table value of 1.994, and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, organizational culture and internal communication significantly influence teacher performance, as indicated by the calculated F-value of 17.534, which is greater than the F-table value of 3.13, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The findings of this study reveal that internal communication is the dominant factor in improving teacher performance within the Islamic boarding school environment. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the internal communication system and develop a more adaptive organizational culture in order to improve the quality of teacher performance.
