Abstract

In an organization it is very important to have leadership with all types of leadership. To achieve optimal performance in an organization, a leader is needed who is able to plan, place and organize his subordinates so that they lead to organizational goals. How leadership is implemented and how satisfied subordinates are influences leadership success. It is very important to create an effective leader in the current era and the future in the younger generation. Many leaders emerge over time as a result of the needs and environmental conditions at that time. To run an effective government in the era of the millennial generation, leaders need to have a reputation as leaders who are trustworthy, talented and have a clear vision. However, effective leaders must also be honest, fair, and loyal to the needs of society. The independence and entrepreneurial spirit of the millennial generation needs to be supported by millennial leadership. Independence and entrepreneurship are the main pillars of a country's development.

Abstract

Due to time constraints and limited guidance, there remains room for improvement in students' academic performance. To address this issue, the principal and school staff coordinate extracurricular activities as an additional strategy to enhance academic success and foster students' talents and interests. These extracurricular endeavors, conducted outside regular class hours, serve not only as a means for the principal to support learning but also as avenues for enhancing the overall educational experience. In this study, literature review methods are employed to identify theories relevant to contemporary leadership phenomena. The theoretical frameworks uncovered in this research will serve as the foundation and roadmap for subsequent field investigations. Literature review, a method used to gather pertinent information and sources, spans across various media platforms. The findings underscore the critical role of effective learning management within the school setting. The principal collaborates with all stakeholders to improve the learning environment. Emphasizing the importance of extracurricular activities in enriching the learning process, efforts are directed towards enhancing school quality. Leadership in education serves as the cornerstone in aligning all activities with the school's vision, mission, and objectives. By fostering a secure and enjoyable learning atmosphere, the principal inspires enthusiasm and enjoyment in the educational journey. Despite diligent educational initiatives, there remains potential for further enhancing the academic achievements of all students

Abstract

In the dynamic era of current business and organizations, leadership role has become the key to achieving success and sustainability. The author analyzes the main characteristics of transformational leadership and how this approach can be applied to effectively achieve organizational goals through literature review. The conceptual analysis results identify the positive impact of transformational leadership on organizational culture, employee motivation, and significant achievement of results.

Abstract

Members and leaders are still necessary in organizations today. Leaders are essential in the operation of an organization as they are responsible for creating the vision, mission, and goals of the organization as well as organizing and directing staff members to work according to the leader's direction. However, leadership is not always easy. Leaders face many challenges, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic era ended. Due to such events, employees or members of the organization are unstructured. Therefore, in order for an organization to survive, transformational leadership is needed, especially those in companies. In addition, this transformational leadership role can increase employee engagement and encourage them to continue working hard. This research was conducted with a literature study research methodology, with five journals and theoretical books as reference data. The author found from the analysis of the reference journals that employee performance and their work engagement can be influenced by the transformational leadership style applied by each organization. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that transformational leadership has a positive impact on the performance of company organizational members. In addition, transformational leadership allows employees to be more innovative, creative, and loyal to the company.

Abstract

Every leader must have a unique character, habits, and personality that makes him different from others through his actions and style. This style and lifestyle will definitely shape his behavior and teaching methods. The leader is used as a role model for his subordinates. Because the leader must be able to set an example to be imitated by his subordinates. Leadership with character is characterized by four main characteristics, namely: honest, farsighted, inspiring, and competent. The combination of these four characteristics creates reliability.

Abstract

Leaders use their leadership characteristics to manage and direct the organization towards achieving predetermined goals. Servant leadership is a leadership style that focuses on the virtues of serving and supporting the needs of others.This journal applies a qualitative descriptive method and adopts a literature review approach to evaluate various sources such as journals and news related to the concept of servant leadership. This study aims to assess the influence of servant leadership on improving the quality of public services.A service-oriented leadership style, or servant leadership, has an indirect relationship with improving the quality of services provided to the public. Leaders who implement servant leadership tend to increase organizational commitment among employees, which in turn can improve their performance. Organizational commitment, which leads to a desire to contribute more and remain part of the organization, can indirectly improve the quality of public services through increased employee commitment and performance. Leaders who embrace this principle seek to maximize their ability to strengthen organizational commitment.

Abstract

Leadership is an important aspect of management and is necessary in any organization. Managers organize and manage available resources, but also influence and direct others to achieve the best results. The success of management depends on the management style used and the satisfaction of subordinates.Being a good leader for the current and future generations is a big challenge. As time goes by, many leaders emerge depending on the demands of the environment. Effective management in the millennial generation era will be possible by qualifying leaders as reliable, intellectual, and intellectually talented leaders with a long-term vision. However, a good leader must also have honesty, integrity and honesty for the benefit of the people.Millennial leadership must support the independence and entrepreneurial spirit of the millennial generation. Strengthening the nation requires a spirit of independence and entrepreneurship which is the most important foundation. Millennial leaders must encourage and support the spirit of innovation, creativity and courage in creating new opportunities and overcoming challenges with an independent and entrepreneurial approach.

Abstract

This research discusses the influence of leadership on team performance at PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (Alfamart). This study is important because leadership is a key factor that determines an organization's success in achieving its goals. Alfamart, as a modern retail company with high business dynamics, requires a solid and high-performing team to face competition and achieve set targets.This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis that relies on literature studies. The research results show that effective leadership has a significant impact on team performance, such as increasing motivation, collaboration, creativity, efficiency and customer service quality. Alfamart realizes the importance of effective leadership and implements various programs and training to develop the leadership abilities of its members. This is done through leadership training programs, performance appraisals, and a culture of appreciation.By implementing effective leadership and developing the leadership abilities of its members, Alfamart can continue to improve its team performance and achieve its business goals more effectively

Abstract

Effective leadership plays a pivotal role in achieving quality higher education. This study delves into how leadership management in higher education institutions can be aligned with the 18 national character values of Indonesia. Employing a Systematic Literature Reviews (SLR) methodology, the study analyzes literature pertaining to leadership, education quality, and national character values. The findings underscore the paramount importance of effective and professional leadership in enhancing the quality of higher education. Effective leaders must possess the competencies and qualities to manage, guide, cultivate, and steer all components of the higher education institution towards achieving educational goals. The new leadership management model proposed in this study integrates the 18 national character values of Indonesia into leadership styles. These values encompass religiousity, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creativity, independence, democracy, curiosity, nationalism, patriotism, appreciation for achievement, friendliness/communicativeness, peacefulness, love of reading, environmental awareness, social responsibility, and accountability. Implementing national character values into leadership is expected to encourage followers to work voluntarily and enthusiastically towards achieving shared goals. Ultimately, this will lead to the enhancement of higher education quality in Indonesia.

Abstract

Leadership that inspires fundamental change or is one of the leadership models often chosen by leaders in organizations. Although the definition varies according to various experts, the essence remains the same, which is to direct members to achieve common goals by emphasizing the values important to the organization. This research thoroughly investigates transformational leadership, using a qualitative approach by extracting information from the literature. The research covers various elements, including styles, attributes, traits, principles, and advantages and disadvantages, exploring various aspects from leadership styles to characteristics. This helps to understand how transformational leadership can influence organizational dynamics and identify its advantages and disadvantages in a practical context.
