Abstract

The widely exposed of volcanic rocks within western part of Central Java-DIY Southern Mountain areas, indicates that volcanic activities had influenced geology of this area. Volcanic-stratigraphic study finds pumiceus rocks, tuff and co-ignimbrite breccias that can be described as primery volcanic rocks at study areas. Those volcanic rocks were erupted explosively followed by collapsing strato cone and forming new caldera. The associate of volcanic rocks with co-ignimbrite breccias, indicates that the central eruption was not far from the outcropes. Shallow intrusive rocks of andecites bearing hornblendes that exposed at the highest cone shape geomorphology of Gunung Gede, south to southwest Sudimoro, might be as the central eruptions.

Abstract

Telah dilakuka n penelitian tentang pembuatan lapisan paduan Ni-Mo  yang akan digunakan sebagai lapisan bond coat untuk lapisan tahan temperatur tinggi (TBC). Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan bahan dasar plat nikel 99% yang diroll dan dibentuk sampel berukuran 25 x 50 x 2 mm. Sampel kemudian diberi lapisan dengan  cara elektroplating  menggunakan  larutan  yang  terdiri dari NiSO4 , Na2MoO4 ,  C8H8O7. Komposisi larutan divarisikan menjadi 5 jenis larutan dengan perbandingan; I.  0,1 : 0,1: 0,1 mol, II. 0,075 : 0,125 : 0,1 mol, III. 0,050 : 0,100 ,0,1 mol, IV. 0,025 : 0,125: 0,1 moll dan V. 0,001 : 0,2 : 0,1 mol. Proses dilakukan pada suhu ruang dengan rapt arus 0,1 A/dm2. Dari hasil percobaan diperoleh bahwa larutan III menghasilkan lapisan dengan kadar Mo terbaik yaitu 21,19%. AbstractThere has been done the experiment about electro deposition Ni-Mo alloy as a bond coat layer for high temperature resistance coating, known as Thermal barrier coating (TBC). The sample is made from Nickel 99%. Roll process was done to thinning the samples and then cut the material into 25 x 50 x 2 mm shape. Electroplating process was done on the surface of materials by mixed NiSO4, Na2MoO4 and C8H8O7 for the solution. Electroplating process was carried out at 0,1-0,6 A/dm2 at room temperature. Composition of the solution was varied within I. 0,1 : 0,1: 0,1 mol, II. 0,075 : 0,125 : 0,1 mol, III. 0,050 : 0,100 , 0,1 mol, IV. 0,025 : 0,125: 0,1 moll and V. 0,001 : 0,2 : 0,1 mol. The best Mo content from the experiment is NiMo coating from solution III, it was 21,19 %.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah aktivitas belajar siswa berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika dan besar pengaruhnya pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Kebumen Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Populasi pada penelitian ini siswa kelas VII sebanyak 192 siswa dan diambil sampel 2 kelas yaitu kelas VII-C dan VII-E sebanyak 62 siswa menggunakan teknik simpel random sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket untuk memperoleh data tentang aktivitas belajar siswa dan tes untuk memperoleh data pemahaman konsep matematika yang masing-masing sudah diujicobakan dan telah memenuhi syarat validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data awal menggunakan uji keseimbangan dengan data nilai ulangan tengah semester 1 (UTS) dengan uji prasyarat normalitas dan homogenitas. Analisis data akhir menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara aktivitas belajar siswa terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kebumen Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015.   Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, pemahaman konsep, matematika

Abstract

Northern Wonolelo area till Berbah was the areas with the most damaged generated by an earthquake of 27 May 2006. On the other hand, volcanic rocks within circular features characterize the areas. Palaeovolcanism had intensively deformed their lithology, generated normal faults and shear joints, in radial pattern with the axis of the vent. The earthquake force reactivated the existing faults and shears. Area with past central eruptions easier to deformed than the others. Volcanic-stratigraphy analyses found three periods of explosively volcanisms intersecting with composite volcanisms, created three escarpments separating each others. There fore, there were three zones of the most damaged areas according to the distributions of central eruptions; i.e Wonolelo and it vicinities, Sudimoro (Segoroyoso) and its vicinities, and Watuadeg-Senthong and its vicinities. Further subsurface research is necessary to verify the central of old volcano that caused the damages.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to find an information about varying soil resistant along residence area in Bantul Regency. The aim of the study is to compiling fixed grounding system. Factors controlling the grounding are ground resistivity, electrode resistivity, environmental condition, size and shape of the system. Ground resistivity needs a good grounding system, that accomplish to savety standard for people and its equipments. The ground system should be able to prevent dangerous caused by flash, whenever nuisance come out. It parposes to overcoming the current of ground system nuisance of electricity power, in order the power could be flowing to the ground, directly; not to the equipments. The resistivity data resulted from the field work measurements, shows some different va-lues in each place, that probably caused by different kinds of soils. For examples are re-gusol soil has a resistivity value of 22.05Ω, latosol 17.04Ω, and red mediteran 15.12Ω. Grumusol soil has resistivity of 7.8Ω, but after it’s analyzed by grounding with 4 electrode, the value is decrease into 4.22Ω. Those are caused by grumusol soil is clayy, while the other soils are sandy. Based of IEEE recomendation of ground resistivity values, home electricity should be <10Ω, while for flash protection should be < 5Ω. Up to now, the solu-tion for quenching the overload power, in order it’s unable to damage the equipments, it’s flowed to the ground directly.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar IPA dengan kompetensi dasar hubungan antara makluk Hidup dikelas IV semester I SD Negeri Karang Asih 12 Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 tidak sepenuhnyakesalahan terdapat pada diri siswa. Seperti yang sudah dikemukakan di atas, faktor – faktoryang mempengaruhi. Mungkin pada saat proses kagiatan pembelajaran IPA siswa tidakmempunyai motivasi belajar, dikarenakan siswa tidak suka pada pelajaran IPA, atau siswakurang memahami materi, guru belum menggunakan strategi pembelajaran yang tepat, atau bahkan guru tidak memanfaatkan dan menggunakan alat peraga untuk memudahkan siswa dalam memahami materi, sehingga siswa merasa bosan. Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah, maka dapat dirumuskan masalah sebagai berikut: “Apakah dengan Media Gambar, Metode kerja Kelompok dan Jigsaw dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa tentang hubungan antara Makluk Hidup di kelas IV semester I SD Negeri Karang Asih 12 Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018

Abstract

Solvent is a key factor that affects the effectiveness of active compound extraction from plant materials (simplisia). This study aimed to determine the optimal type and concentration of solvent used in the extraction of pepino fruit based on the parameter of antioxidant and tyrosinase inhibition activity, as well as Sun Protection Factor (SPF) value. The extraction was carried out using the maceration method with ethanol or ethyl acetate as the solvent, each at concentrations of 50%, 70%, and 96%, respectively. The antioxidant activity of the extracts was evaluated using the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method. The inhibition of tyrosinase and the determination of the SPF value were carried out using in vitro test. The results showed that the ethyl acetate extract was better than that of the ethanol extract in terms of antioxidant activity, tyrosinase inhibition, and SPF value. In the ethyl acetate solvent, a concentration of 96% provided the strongest antioxidant, tyrosinase inhibition activity, and the second highest in SPF test. It can be concluded that the optimal solvent for extracting pepino fruit as promising compound for sunscreen formulation is 96% ethyl acetate.

Abstract

Program pelatihan pariwisata ini sangat penting untuk dikembangkan guna meningkatkan perekonomian di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, berbagai upaya perlu dilakukan untuk mendukung pengembangan pariwisata. Kompetensi berbahasa Inggris merupakan faktor penting dalam meningkatkan industri pariwisata. Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam peran bahasa Inggris dalam perkembangan pariwisata dan perekonomian di Indonesia. Pelatihan terbuka dan kuesioner dilakukan kepada 32 generasi muda di sekitar tempat wisata terpilih dan pemilik industri pariwisata di Pariaman untuk mengumpulkan data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa bahasa Inggris mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting dalam mengembangkan industri pariwisata. Generasi muda yang mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik dalam bahasa Inggris dapat mendukung perkembangan usaha pariwisata terutama dalam memperluas program penjualan dan memberikan pelayanan yang lebih efisien. Oleh karena itu, dengan adanya pengabdian ini, para pemangku kepentingan pariwisata terus meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa Inggris pegawainya dengan mengadakan program pendidikan bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

The laboratory is a facility or place where there are scientific activities (practicum/research) to produce a scientific product (result). The existence of a laboratory in schools is very necessary to support learning in the classroom. The main function of the Laboratory is to study and prove a particular theory and find or produce a scientific product (result). The laboratory is a practical facility for certain subjects that require practicum activities. Based on these facts, it is necessary to have good school laboratory management and pay attention to work safety factors. Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety in the laboratory needs to be owned by all parties who will work in the laboratory so that accidents do not occur. The method used is in the form of exposure to material and an introduction to simple practicum by paying attention to OHS offline which contains an explanation of the basic concepts of work safety, sources of causes of work accidents, cases and how to control work safety in the laboratory. The data analysis technique used is descriptive. The result of this community service is the participants' understanding of how to carry out laboratory activities safely so that practicum activities in the school environment (SMP, SMA/MA) can be carried out smoothly and safely.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Minyak sereh (Cymbopogon citratus) dan minyak kemangi (Ocimum basilicum) adalah minyak esensial yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam formulasi sediaan kosmetik. Deodoran roll on merupakan jenis yang sangat fleksibel dan populer karena tidak berminyak saat digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komposisi dari kedua minyak terhadap sifat fisik sediaan deodoran roll on. Formulasi deodoran roll on mengandung 4% (b/v) komposisi minyak sereh dan minyak kemangi dalam tiga perbandingan yaitu F1 (1:3), F2 (2:2) dan F3 (3:1) yang dievaluasi sifat fisiknya antara lain organoleptik, viskositas dan ukuran partikel. Komposisi kedua minyak dapat mempengaruhi organoleptik, viskositas dan ukuran partikel sediaan deodoran roll on. Kata Kunci: Minyak sereh & Minyak Kemangi, Sediaan Deodoran Roll On ABSTRACT Lemongrass oil (Cymbopogon citratus) and basil oil (Ocimum basilicum) are essential oils that can be utilized in the formulation of cosmetic preparations. Roll on deodorant is a very flexible and popular type because it is not greasy when used. This study aims to determine the effect of the composition of the two oils on the physical properties of roll-on deodorant preparations. Roll-on deodorant formulations containing 4% (b/v) lemongrass oil and basil oil in three compositions, namely F1 (1:3), F2 (2:2) and F3 (3:1) were evaluated for physical properties including organoleptic, viscosity and particle size.
