Abstract

Abstract: Tourism is one of the sectors that contribute in improving the economy of a country. Currently, tourism is becoming a trend of sharia tourism in which its operation in accordance with Islamic sharia. The existence of a new sector of sharia tourism is expected to have an impact on the increase in income and welfare of the community. The level of people's welfare is measured by how much income levels are earned. This study aims to determine the impact of the existence of Islamic tourism to increase income and welfare of society in Lombok by using qualitative research methods. From the results of research conducted in the Department of Tourism and tourist sites by using three techniques of data collection that is observation, interviews, and documentation can be concluded that overall Islamic tourism has a positive impact on the increase of income society and affect the welfare of the community it self.Abstrak: Pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor yang berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan perekonomian suatu negara. Saat ini pariwisata yang tengah menjadi tren yaitu pariwisata syariah yang mana pengoperasiannya sesuai dengan syariah islam. Adanya sektor baru yaitu pariwisata syariah diharapkan akan berimplikasi terhadap peningkatan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat diukur dari seberapa besar tingkat pendapatan yang diperoleh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implikasi dari adanya pariwisata syariah terhadap peningkatan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Lombok dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di Dinas Pariwisata dan lokasi wisata dengan menggunakan tiga teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara keseluruhan pariwisata syariah memiliki implikasi yang positif terhadap meningkatnya pendapatan masyarakat dan berpengaruh terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat itu sendiri.

Abstract

Poverty is a set of problems encountered by developing countries, including Indonesia. This study attempts to solve the problems using zakat instrument. Indonesia has high zakat revenue potency, but its realization is still low, therefore factors affecting society motivation in paying zakat through Amil Zakat Agency still need to be investigated. The purpose of this study is to identify if religious, psychological, social factors and government regulation enable to influence society motivation in paying zakat both simultaneously or partially. Multiple linier regression was used as the method of analysis. The results shows that religiosity, psychological, social factors and government regulation have positive and significant impact on society motivation in paying zakat through Amil Zakat Agency. Partially, religious factor and psychological factor influences society motivation in paying zakat while social factor and government regulation does not influence it. Copyright (c) 2017 by KARSA. Abstract

The potential of receiving zakat, infak and alms in Indonesia is quite large. That is because the majority of Indonesia's population is Moslem, reaching 207.2 million people (BPS, 2017). On the other hand, the number of poor people in Indonesia is also quite alarming, reaching 27.77 million people (BPS, 2017). Therefore, it is expected that the potential of receiving zakat, infak and alms can be managed as well as possible so that the benefits can be optimal as a counterweight to the country's economic sector. This paper aims to present the idea of an android-based application development product named SIZISKU. This application is a new idea that aims to improve the optimization of zakat, infak and alms management by integrating national zakat institutions. By integrating national zakat institutions in an integrated application, the mustahik (the receivers of zakat, infak, and alms) database of all zakat institutions can be collected. By that way, it can avoid overlapping zakat recipients from the same institution. It also makes the distribution of zakat, donations and alms can be delivered equally. In addition, the purpose of this paper is to find out what the stages to develop the application and who are the parties involved to implement it. The result of this writing is the prototype of the SIZISKU application.

Abstract

The current development of society demonstrates openness in evaluating various aspects of life, including understanding towards religious matter. In another side, this fact turns into a challenge because some people, especially some Muslims, are still exclusive. Responding to the challenge, Islam as a set of universal principle should operate in providing solutions through its views upon the essence of multiculturalism. This paper examines theoretically the factual reality of multiculturalism in Indonesia, how Islam positions multiculturalism, and views for educational institutions in developing multiculturalism perspectives to grow inclusive attitudes in society. The results of the study show that the multiculturalism facts in Indonesia cannot be neglegted and must be maintained and developed by promoting tolerance and justice. In Islamic perspectives, multiculturalism is a fact that is often found in the al-Qur’an and Hadith as well as in the historical records of the Prophet’s life. Through educational channels, the perspective of multiculturalism can be disseminated to develop a society that respects the value and practice of the multiculturalism itself.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat berwirausaha dan kemampuan mengelola keuangan sederhana bagi mustahiq zakat produktif lembaga amil zakat Nurul Hayat. Sasaran program ini adalah “Bunda Yatim” sebuah program pemberdayaan zakat produktif berupa bantuan modal usaha yang diberikan kepada para janda yang suaminya meninggal dan memiliki tanggungan menafkahi anak. Metode pelaksanakan meliputi perencanaan kegiatan, sosialisasi, pelaksanaan, pendampingan, monitoring dan evaluasi yang dilaksanakan selama 8 (delapan) bulan dan diikuti 30 orang mustahiq Nurul Hayat di wilayah Surabaya selatan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, motivasi dan minat mustahiq untuk berwirausaha sehingga dapat mensejahterahkan ekonomi mustahiq. Selain itu, peserta kegiatan ini juga dapat mengelola keuangan hasil usaha. Dengan demikian akan terjadi peningkatan status dari mustahiq menjadi muzakki.

Abstract

Penlitian ini memiliki tujuan guna mengetahui potensi yang bisa dikembangkan menjadi Desa wisata berbasis syariah di Desa Kebloran. Metode pendekatan yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penilitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Dalam proses validitas data menggunakan metode trianggulasi sumber dan teknik. Untuk menganalisis data penelitian ini menggunakan tiga tahapan yakni, reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data,  serta menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan Desa Kebloran memiliki potensi Desa wisata berbasis syariah, mulai dari potensi disektor ekonomi, budaya, sosial, religi, dan lingkungan. Perlu adanya peningkatan kualitas, dan literasi masyarakat terkait wisata syariah serta komitmen yang kuat mulai dari pemerintah yang membuat kebijakan, peran serta masyarakat dan pemuda akan berpengaruh besar terhadap pelaksanaan Desa wisata berbasis syariah di Desa Kebloran serta dapat dilakukan sosialisasi, dan edukasi untuk peningkatan pengetahuan dan kualitas masyarakat terkait pariwisata syariah.

Abstract

This article examines Ibnu Khaldun’s economic thought in his literature ‎entitled Muqaddimah. Discussing this idea is crucial due to his great contribution to ‎the future development of Islamic economy. In addition, Ibnu Khaldun’s thought has ‎contributed further to an economic science until becoming a prominent theory in 18th ‎and 19th century far before many experts such as Adam Smith, David Ricardo, Leon ‎Walras, Karl Marx, and the others established their theories. Ibnu Khaldun’s thought ‎is considered fundamental, not only due to the fact that he precedes any Western ‎economists but he is also an expert of extensive sciences besides Economics so he ‎possess an outstanding ability to to write his Economics in a complete perspective. ‎Among his contributions to both macro and micro Economics, Ibnu Khaldun ‎occassionally proposed his Economics in 14th century when Europe was still in pre-‎modern era. This study concludes that, historically, Ibnu Khaldun’s Economics have ‎existed far before modern Western scholars defined their ideas. It is not exaggerating ‎therefore to call Ibnu Khaldun as Father of Economics in the case of his ideas of ‎taxes, international trades, political and civilization developments are all crucial to ‎be taken into account in current context for prosperity in society and state.‎

Abstract

Halal has become part of life worldwide, and the service demand is advancing on a big scale in the industrial and economic frame. This study aims to determine the effects of halal certification and customers' halal awareness of the intention to purchase halal food products. This study belongs to the quantitative type with samples of 105 Muslim respondents. Accidental sampling is applied to sampling data. Four-point Likert scale questionnaire is utilized in data collecting which is analyzed with multiple linear regression techniques using SPSS 23 program. The results of this study indicate that halal certification variables and halal awareness both partially have positive effects on purchase intentions of halal food products. Meanwhile, the two variables simultaneously, halal certification and halal awareness, also positively influence the intention to purchase halal food products.

Abstract

This research is aimed at examining the influence of service marketing mix towards visitor’s decision to stay in Andita Syariah Hotel Surabaya. The independent variable on this research are product, price, place, promotion, people, process, pyhsical evidence, promise, patience. While the dependent variable is decision to stay which consist of four indicators, they are product choice, brand choice, distribution choice and time to stay. Data analysis technique on this research used classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, F-test and T-test. The result of this research shows that the service marketing mix has a simultaneous influence towards the decision to stay in Andita Syariah Hotel Surabaya. While based on partial test, there are three variables of the service marketing mix which significantly influence variable decision to stay, they are place, physical evidence and promise.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to know the law, muzara'ah cooperation model, applications such contract in the modern economy and how the opportunities and challenges in its implementation. Muzaraah in the agricultural sector is essential applied in Islamic banking as a superior product Indonesia Islamic bank as a real form of Islamic economic jurisprudence that benefit the community because the agricultural sector is a sector that can absorb large and very influential in food commodity and world economies. To realize the need for synergy between academia (universities), the association of Islamic banking, the association / community of farmers, agricultural ministries, NGOs, cooperatives sharia and sharia insurance deign to consider the creation of new products in Islamic banks that are specific to the agricultural sector given the low financing agriculture and the majority of farmers in the village with a little knowledge.
