Abstract

This study examines the determinants of Islamic entrepreneurial intention among productive zakat scholarship recipients in Indonesia and Malaysia. Data from 142 respondents were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess the effects of university support, perceived organizational support, and self-efficacy. The results show that university support and perceived organizational support significantly enhance self-efficacy, indicating the importance of institutional support in strengthening entrepreneurial confidence. University support also positively influences Islamic entrepreneurial intention, while perceived organizational support does not have a direct effect on intention. Self-efficacy emerges as the strongest predictor of Islamic entrepreneurial intention, highlighting its central role in translating institutional support into entrepreneurial motivation. The multi-group analysis reveals differences between Indonesia and Malaysia: in Indonesia, perceived organizational support strongly strengthens self-efficacy, which subsequently drives entrepreneurial intention, whereas in Malaysia, university support improves self-efficacy but does not significantly translate into intention. These findings suggest that the impact of institutional support on Islamic entrepreneurial intention is context-dependent across countries. Universities and zakat institutions should complement financial assistance with mentoring, business incubation, and networking opportunities to strengthen entrepreneurial intention among scholarship recipients. The study contributes to the literature by providing comparative evidence from Indonesia and Malaysia on the role of institutional support in shaping Islamic entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract

The Farmers Group "Horticulture Makmur Bersama" in Rejosari Village, Gondang District, Tulungagung Regency, is one of the leading actors in the horticultural agricultural sector that provides superior vegetable and fruit seeds. The problems faced by the Farmer Group "Makmur Bersama Horticulture" are difficulties in controlling pests and diseases, maintaining the growing environment, and limited resources. Based on the problems faced, the service team provides solutions to solve these problems with the Smart Green House innovation. The differentiator in this innovation is an irrigation device with a movable concept. The method used in this service activity consists of problem identification, needs analysis, design/development, manufacturing and testing, training, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. The results of this service showed that the production of plant seeds increased by an average of 36%. The use of Smart Green House can control pests more effectively and reduce the excessive use of pesticides. This bright greenhouse has temperature, air humidity, soil moisture, and light sensors integrated with IoT. Based on this service activity, the importance of technology integration in a sustainable agricultural sector in supporting the green economy can be concluded. Smart Green House can contribute to food security and empower farmers to manage their agriculture modernly.

Abstract

Di era digital, integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dengan praktik bisnis menjadi krusial bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi yang inklusif dan etis. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) lokal di Wiyung, Surabaya, melalui pengembangan produk pangan olahan bersertifikat halal. Program ini mencakup sesi pelatihan dan pendampingan yang berfokus pada produksi halal, prosedur sertifikasi, strategi pemasaran digital, dan branding produk. Dengan menggunakan metode pra-tes dan pasca-tes yang melibatkan 25 wirausaha perempuan dari kelompok PKK setempat, studi ini mengamati peningkatan pemahaman peserta sebesar 50% tentang standar halal. Hasil studi ini menegaskan bahwa peningkatan literasi halal dan kapabilitas digital meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan UMKM lokal. Model ini dapat menjadi kerangka kerja yang dapat direplikasi untuk mempromosikan ekonomi halal dan nilai-nilai ESG di tingkat akar rumput.

Abstract

Analyzing the Islamic marketing mix strategy at the Takanagari cafe in Sidoarjo is the objective chosen by the researcher. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research type by obtaining data using observation, interview, and documentation methods. This study uses primary and secondary data sources. The primary data sources are interviews with cafe owner Takanagari Sidoarjo, employees and consumers. Meanwhile, the secondary data sources are journals or literature on the Islamic marketing mix. Based on the study's results, it can be concluded that the application of the Islamic marketing mix to increase sales turnover by the Takanagari Sidoarjo cafe located in Taman Anggun Sejahtera 3 Sidoarjo Housing is considered to have deficiencies in sharia principles still. Meanwhile, in terms of sales turnover, the Takanagari cafe in Sidoarjo has succeeded in increasing its sales turnover with several supporting factors. It would be a good feeling if the research were conducted by looking for the influence of the marketing mix strategy from an Islamic economic perspective on the level of sales turnover.

Abstract

Poverty is a set of problems encountered by developing countries, including Indonesia. This study attempts to solve the problems using zakat instrument. Indonesia has high zakat revenue potency, but its realization is still low, therefore factors affecting society motivation in paying zakat through Amil Zakat Agency still need to be investigated. The purpose of this study is to identify if religious, psychological, social factors and government regulation enable to influence society motivation in paying zakat both simultaneously or partially. Multiple linier regression was used as the method of analysis. The results shows that religiosity, psychological, social factors and government regulation have positive and significant impact on society motivation in paying zakat through Amil Zakat Agency. Partially, religious factor and psychological factor influences society motivation in paying zakat while social factor and government regulation does not influence it. Copyright (c) 2017 by KARSA. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the role of mudharabah financing in a Financing Savings and Loan Cooperative towards improving the agricultural sector. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The study results indicate that cooperatives play a role in improving the agricultural sector with the help of the capital provided. The increase in the agricultural sector can be seen from the adequacy of capital, increased welfare, and increased labor. However, the improvement of cooperatives' welfare and other factors such as natural weather conditions play a role in improving farmers' welfare. As for the suitability of implementing mudharabah financing in cooperatives, there is still a discrepancy between the implementation and the DSN MUI fatwa No. 7 of 2000 concerning Mudharabah Financing, the capital used by cooperative members is not 100% of the cooperative. Members also do not get the opportunity to bargain about the amount of profit sharing.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran pembiayaan mudharabah di Koperasi Simpan Pinjam Pembiayaan terhadap peningkatan sektor pertanian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan koperasi berperan dalam meningkatkan sektor pertanian dengan bantuan modal yang diberikan. Adapun peningkatan pada sektor pertanian dapat dilihat dari kecukupan modal, peningkatan kesejahteraan, serta peningkatan tenaga kerja. Akan tetapi, dalam peningkatan kesejahteraan koperasi tidak berperan secara keseluruhan dikarenakan terdapat faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi peningkatan kesejahteraan petani yakni kondisi cuaca alam. Sedangkan untuk kesesuaian pelaksanaan pembiayaan mudharabah pada koperasi masih terdapat ketidaksesuaian antara pelaksanaan dengan fatwa DSN MUI No 7 tahun 2000 tentang Pembiayaan Mudharabah, yakni modal yang digunakan anggota koperasi tidak 100% dari koperasi, serta anggota juga tidak mendapatkan kesempatan dalam melakukan tawar-menawar mengenai besaran bagi hasil.
