Abstract

Technological advancements, especially in the field of internet, have driven the development of digital health services such as telemedicine. This service allows users to consult with medical personnel online, thus providing easy access to health services, especially in geographical areas that are difficult to reach. This study aims to identify the level of satisfaction of students of D3 Medical Records and Health Information Study Program ITSK RS.DR. Soepraoen Malang towards the use of telemedicine applications. The method used is End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS), which includes five indicators: content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method with a survey approach to 45 respondents. The results of the analysis showed that the majority of respondents were very satisfied with the use of telemedicine applications, with an average satisfaction score of 4.19. The indicator with the highest score was ease of use (4.26), while the content indicator obtained the lowest score (4.12). These results indicate that although the telemedicine application is considered easy to use, there are still aspects of content that need to be improved. This research is expected to be a recommendation for application developers to improve the quality of telemedicine systems and services to increase user satisfaction.

Abstract

The development of technology is very rapid, especially in the health sector, namely in the use of RME (Electronic Medical Records), one of the hospitals that runs RME is Lavalette Hospital Malang. The implementation of RME at Lavalette Hospital Malang uses the TAM (Technlogy Acceleration Model) method, which is by paying attention to five important constructs, including perceived ease of use (PEOU), perceived usefulness (PU), attitude toward using (ATU), behavioral intention to use (BIU), and actual system usage (ASU). This aims to evaluate the acceptance rate of RME by health workers such as medical record heads, medical record officers, doctors, nurses, and even IT (Information Technology) officers with a focus on ease of use, usability, attitude towards use, intention to use, and actual use of the system. Methods: This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach through structured interviews and participatory observations. Results: The results of the study show that the implementation of RME at Lavalette Hospital Malang has a positive impact on productivity and ease of work, although there are obstacles in implementation such as system errors and training needs. This research is expected to provide recommendations for the improvement of the RME system in hospitals as well as practical benefits for health and educational institutions. Conclusion: The RME switch at Lavalette Hospital Malang has shown good progress because it has been integrated by the installations there. However, for its optimization, periodic evaluations are needed.

Abstract

Medical audits aim to improve the quality of health services and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). The application of electronic medical records (RME) at Ngudi Waluyo Wlingi Hospital to improve documentation efficiency and reduce recording errors. This study aims to analyze the management of medical audits on electronic medical records at Ngudi Waluyo Wlingi Hospital, focusing on audit procedures, human resource factors, and facilities and infrastructure that support the implementation of medical audits. The method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach, which is carried out through in-depth interviews and observations. The informants in this study consisted of the doctor conducting the audit, the head of the IT unit, and the head of the medical record. The results of the study show that the medical audit procedure has been carried out in accordance with applicable standards, but there are still obstacles in coordination between teams and lack of training for auditors and medical personnel. The human resource factor is the main challenge, where the limited understanding of medical personnel on audit procedures and the use of the RME system has an impact on the effectiveness of audits. To increase the effectiveness of medical audits, it is necessary to increase training for medical personnel and auditors, strengthen coordination between audit teams and medical staff, and optimize the RME system to make it more integrated and accessible. The implementation of audit recommendations in hospital policies must be improved to support continuous service improvement.

Abstract

Field Work Practice (PKL) is an important part of the education of the Medical Records and Health Information Study Program (RMIK) to hone students' skills in the real world of work. The ability to code diagnoses, as the main competency in the Codification and Classification of Diseases and Health Problems (KKPMT) course, is very important for RMIK students. Student readiness in street vendors is a key factor in determining the quality of graduates. Preliminary studies show that D3 RMIK ITSK RS. Dr. Soepraoen Hospital batch 2022-2023 students are not fully ready to undergo street vendors, especially in the practical application of KKPMT materials. This study aims to analyze the relationship between clinical codification ability and street vendor readiness. The method used was quantitative with a cross-sectional approach, involving 120 respondents through total sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire that measured clinical codification ability (independent variable) and street vendor readiness (dependent variable). Data analysis using the Kendall test Tau_b showed very high questionnaire reliability (Cronbach's Alpha = 1,000). The results showed a weak negative relationship between clinical codification ability and street vendor readiness (correlation coefficient = -0.115), but not statistically significant (p-value = 0.125 > 0.05). This means that there is no significant relationship between the two variables, so H1 is rejected and H0 is accepted. These findings indicate that other factors, such as communication skills, mastery of other materials, or previous practical experience, may have more influence on street vendor readiness. This research is the basis for exploring other factors that affect students' readiness to face street vendors.

The global prevalence of LBW is 15.5%. A total of around 20 million LBW are born every year and 95.5% of them come from developing countries. The infant mortality rate (IMR) in Indonesia increased in 2012 from 19 per 1,000 live births to 22.23% per 1,000 live births (SUPAS, 2015). Based on the results of the East Java National Socio- Economic Survey (Susenas) 2011–2013, the infant mortality rate (IMR) in East Java in 2013 was 27.23% per 1,000 live births (East Java Province Health Profile, 2014). Purpose: This study aims to determine the factors that influence the incidence of low birth weight babies. Method: This type of research is analytic observational.
