The problem in this study is the low creativity of students in learning. Students' difficulty in understanding the material presented by the teacher is one of the factors that causes this. In addition, the learning resources in the lesson are still incomplete, so to complete the material, it is necessary to search one by one for each part. These two factors result in low levels of student creativity. This problem can be overcome by implementing the READING combination learning model. This study aims to explain the activities of teachers and students, analyze the increase in creativity and student learning outcomes. This study is a type of Classroom Action Research which is carried out with 4 meetings. The subjects of this study were 12 fourth grade students of SDN Banua Anyar 4 Banjarmasin. Abstract

The issue addressed in this study lies in the underdeveloped social-emotional aspects of children, particularly in understanding rules during play and maintaining discipline. This was primarily due to the initial teaching approach, where the teacher provided only brief explanations using limited learning media, specifically a single worksheet (LKPD) posted on the board. The lack of diverse instructional media hindered children's ability to think creatively and engage actively. To overcome this, the study implemented the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model, the Reward and Punishment method, and creative play activities. The purpose of this study was to describe teacher activities, analyze children's participation, and evaluate improvelmelnts in childreln's social-elmotional delvellopmelnt. Sebagai solusi, digunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL), metode Reward and Punishment, serta permainan kreatif.

Abstract

Humanistic principal leadership is essential for fostering inclusive Early Childhood Education (ECE), yet remains underexplored in Indonesia’s inclusive schools. This study examined how principals practice humanistic leadership in two inclusive kindergartens in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, to support diverse learning environments. Using a descriptive qualitative design, data were gathered through observation, in-depth interviews with two principals, eight teachers, four parents, and document analysis at Pelita Hati and Bina Sejahtera Kindergartens. Thematic analysis followed Miles and Huberman’s framework. Results show humanistic leadership is reflected in embracing diversity, building supportive environments, and facilitating collaboration. Principals lead through participatory decision-making, empathy, care, and promoting each child’s potential, shaping an inclusive, humanistic school culture. The study offers insights into how humanistic leadership operates in inclusive ECE, providing a practical reference for principals and policymakers to strengthen inclusive, child-centered education.

Abstract

Syphilis is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by the bacterium Treponema pallidum. Syphilis screening can be performed using the immunochromatography method. Puskesmas (Primary Health Center) Gondokusuman II, Yogyakarta Municipality, provides syphilis screening facilities using the immunochromatography method. This study aims to describe the results of syphilis screening using the immunochromatography method. This study employed descriptive quantitative. The sample of this study was the results of syphilis screening from January 2024 to June 2025 using the Slovin formula, and obtained results from 81 respondents. Based on this study, the results of syphilis screening were predominantly male aged 20-25 years (64.2%), compared to females (35.8%). A high percentage was found in men of productive age or adulthood. This age group has a high curiosity, so it tends to encourage trying new things. The high reactive results based on the results of the examination indicate the potential for infection to spread in the population. The conclusion shows that syphilis examinations in January 2024-June 2025 using the immunochromatography method were dominated by male gender aged 20-25 years or productive age and adult age.

Abstract

This study highlights the vital role of socio-emotional and language development in early childhood as key foundations for later success. It investigates the influence of parenting styles and parental educational attainment on these developmental aspects among children at Murung Raya Kindergarten, Banjarmasin. Using a quantitative explanatory design and path analysis, data were collected from 173 parents through validated Likert-scale questionnaires. Results showed that parenting style significantly influenced language (β=0.253; p0.05) and socio-emotional development (β=0.622; p0.05), while parental education also had significant effects on both domains. Socio-emotional development strongly predicted language outcomes (β=0.578; p0.05) and mediated the relationships between parenting style and language development (Sobel = 6.674; p0.05), and parental education and language development (Sobel = 4.832; p0.05). These findings underscore the importance of supportive parenting and educational backgrounds in promoting holistic early childhood development and highlight the value of family-based interventions.
