Abstract

The dynamic era of globalization requires workers and companies to always develop new products and innovate according to society's needs and market demands. The field of higher education is no exception where lecturers are required to accept a workload that can often damage the quality of their work life. This research aims to determine the quality of work life of lecturers who teach at the Faculty of Medicine and work in the medical field. This research uses a quantitative approach and descriptive analysis to provide an overview of the level of quality of work life. The research results show that the quality of work life of the majority of lecturers who are research subjects is at a high level. This is influenced by the score obtained on the salary and status dimensions which are related to the salary and status obtained by the research subjects from they work and also from society regarding the work they have.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, more and more children are being influenced by technological advances. One of the technological advances that children like is gadgets. The introduction of gadgets to children usually starts with parents and family showing videos or games on the gadget in the hope that the child will stop crying and not be fussy. This research aims to analyze and describe parents' economic status, parenting patterns, gadget use duration, and early childhood social development. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The total sample was 158 parents. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire that meets the validity and reliability test requirements. Data analysis to test hypotheses uses path analysis. Based on the results of this research, it was found that first, there is a direct relationship between economic status and children's social development. Second, parenting styles and children's social development. Third, the duration of gadget use depends on the child's social development. Fourth, economic status and duration of gadget use. Fifth, parenting patterns and duration of gadget use. Sixth, economic status through the duration of gadget use and children's social development. Seventh, economic status through the duration of gadget use and children's social development. It was concluded that there was a relationship between economic status, parenting patterns, and duration of gadget use with the social development of early childhood.

Abstract

This study examines the significant impact of effective instructional leadership and management by school principals on classroom learning climate and teacher performance, which in turn supports effective teaching practices.  Instructional leadership encompasses not only coordinating learning aspects, including management processes, direction, and empowering teachers as human resources, but also leveraging other resources to achieve learning objectives. As instructional leaders, principals are challenged to continuously enhance their effectiveness to improve educational quality and achieve school and educational goals, while staying abreast of evolving information to conduct visionary leadership aligned with current needs. The study explores the components of instructional leadership, encompassing curriculum management, teaching and learning processes, assessment, and the coordination of school learning communities, all of which influence teacher performance. Given the intricate relationship between effective instructional leadership and productive teacher performance in the classroom, this study investigates the correlation between strong instructional leadership and teacher productivity in implementing effective instruction.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini meneliti dampak signifikan kepemimpinan dan manajemen instruksional yang efektif oleh kepala sekolah terhadap iklim pembelajaran di kelas dan kinerja guru, yang pada gilirannya mendukung praktik pengajaran yang efektif. Kepemimpinan instruksional tidak hanya mencakup koordinasi aspek pembelajaran, termasuk proses manajemen, arahan, dan pemberdayaan guru sebagai sumber daya manusia, tetapi juga memanfaatkan sumber daya lain untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Sebagai pemimpin instruksional, kepala sekolah ditantang untuk terus meningkatkan efektivitas mereka untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan mencapai tujuan sekolah dan pendidikan, sambil tetap mengikuti perkembangan informasi untuk melakukan kepemimpinan visioner yang selaras dengan kebutuhan saat ini. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi komponen kepemimpinan instruksional, yang mencakup manajemen kurikulum, proses belajar mengajar, penilaian, dan koordinasi komunitas pembelajaran sekolah, yang semuanya memengaruhi kinerja guru. Mengingat hubungan yang rumit antara kepemimpinan instruksional yang efektif dan kinerja guru yang produktif di kelas, penelitian ini menyelidiki korelasi antara kepemimpinan instruksional yang kuat dan produktivitas guru dalam menerapkan instruksi yang efektif.

Abstract

Educational quality management is a sustainable system that aims to improve the capacity and ability of educational institutions to meet the demands of students and society in the era of globalization. Principals and teachers are required to improve the effectiveness of their performance in order to improve the quality of education and achieve school goals. Continuous information updates are needed so that visionary and adaptive leadership functions to changes in the times can be realized. The functions of school management and leadership have a significant impact on the learning climate in the classroom, so that it is expected to create a positive and productive learning environment. This study examines in depth the role of principal leadership and quality management strategies in improving the quality of education. A comprehensive literature study from various sources, including scientific journals and books, was used to analyze and synthesize related findings. The results of the study indicate that transformational leadership and total quality management are two key factors that are interrelated and equally important in achieving optimal education quality. Strong and visionary leadership can inspire and motivate all members of the school community to actively participate in quality improvement efforts. Quality management, with a focus on customers and continuous improvement, provides the framework and tools needed to achieve these goals. ABSTRAKManajemen mutu pendidikan merupakan sistem berkelanjutan yang bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas dan kemampuan lembaga pendidikan agar mampu memenuhi tuntutan peserta didik dan masyarakat di era globalisasi. Kepala sekolah dan guru dituntut untuk meningkatkan efektivitas kinerja mereka demi peningkatan mutu pendidikan dan pencapaian tujuan sekolah. Pembaruan informasi secara terus-menerus diperlukan agar fungsi kepemimpinan yang visioner dan adaptif terhadap perubahan zaman dapat diwujudkan. Fungsi manajemen dan kepemimpinan sekolah memiliki dampak signifikan pada iklim pembelajaran di kelas, sehingga diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang positif dan produktif. Penelitian ini mengkaji secara mendalam peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan strategi manajemen mutu dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Studi literatur yang komprehensif dari berbagai sumber, termasuk jurnal ilmiah dan buku, digunakan untuk menganalisis dan mensintesis temuan-temuan terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan manajemen mutu total merupakan dua faktor kunci yang saling terkait dan sama-sama penting dalam mencapai mutu pendidikan yang optimal. Kepemimpinan yang kuat dan visioner mampu menginspirasi dan memotivasi seluruh anggota komunitas sekolah untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam upaya perbaikan mutu. Manajemen mutu, dengan fokus pada pelanggan dan perbaikan berkelanjutan, menyediakan kerangka kerja dan alat yang dibutuhkan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of the principal's transformational leadership and work climate through work motivation on teacher performance. This research is quantitative research with path analysis. The research population was 271 people with a research sample of 161 people. Data collection was carried out using an instrument consisting of the principal's Transformational leadership (27 items), work climate (26 items), work motivation (20 items), teacher performance (26 items) which had been tested for validity and reliability. Analysis of this research data uses path analysis (Path Analysis). The results of the study found that there was an influence of the principal's Transformational leadership on performance, work climate on performance, work motivation on performance, principal's Transformational leadership on work motivation, work climate on teacher motivation, principal's Transformational leadership on performance through work motivation, work climate on performance through work motivation. Abstract

Pada kegiatan mengenal angka 1-10 anak hanya mampu menyebutkan angka tanpa mengetahui simbol dari angka tersebut, masih ada yang keliru dan belum mampu ketika menyebutkan dan mengurutkan angka secara benar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, aktivitas anak, dan hasil perkembangan kemampuan kognitif anak melalui kegiatan permainan Badamprak Kreasi menggunakan model SAVI dan Direct Instruction (SAVIDICTION). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 3 kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini anak kelompok A TK Nusantara  Banjarmasin dengan jumlah 7 orang anak yaitu 4 anak laki-laki dan 3 anak perempuan. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa aktivitas guru terlaksana dengan sangat baik. Aktivitas anak secara signifikan setiap pertemuan mengalami peningkatan hingga mencapai seluruh anak aktif dengan persentase 100% dan hasil perkembangan kemampuan kognitif anak memperoleh kategori Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB) dengan pesentase 100%. Diharapkan hasil penelitian tersebut sebagai bahan masukan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif melalui kegiatan permainan Badamprak Kreasi.

Abstract

The success of the implementation of PAUD HI cannot be achieved by one party alone. Partnerships with various parties, such as parents, the community, and  other stakeholders Partnerships are the key to success in the development of Integrative Holistic Early Childhood Education. The purpose of this study is to describe the partnership carried out by PAUD Al-Ghazali so that the realization of Integrative Holistic PAUD (HI). This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data was obtained using interview data collection techniques, observations, and documentation. Based on the results  of the research Through close partnerships with parents, related agencies, higher education institutions, and protection and health institutions, PAUD Al Ghazali has succeeded in providing education, health, nurturing, nutrition, and protection services that support and complement each other..

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difficulties of children who are in the early stages of elementary school and the efforts made by teachers to overcome them. Factors that cause difficulties for children who are in the transition period of ECE SD are internal and external factors, including the lack of synchronization of the SD and ECE curriculum. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. In this study, the instrument used was an interview guide. And the analysis used descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that children's learning difficulties were found in the aspects of reading, writing and arithmetic, social, emotional, psychological, and physical-motor. This will have an impact on children so that children will have difficulty learning at the elementary school level. Based on the findings, the efforts made by teachers are 1) collaborating and communicating with parents, 2) helping to direct children both in academics and socializing, 3) using differentiated learning by dividing into three groups according to their respective levels, 4) habituation, 5) activating the class with ice breaking, 6) providing free activities, 7) providing advice,  and 8) establishing cooperation with other teachers. The teacher hopes that after these efforts are made, children can become more independent and can adjust to elementary school.

Abstract

The goal of national education requires the optimal role of teachers as key elements in education. Therefore, teachers need to demonstrate strong performance. This study aims to identify the factors that significantly influence the improvement of teacher performance. The research employs a quantitative approach with a regression design. The study population consists of 1,820 teachers from 212 public elementary schools (SDN) in Tabalong Regency, with a sample drawn from this population for analysis. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and regression analysis. Regression analysis was utilized to examine both direct and indirect effects on teacher performance

Abstract

The management and implementation of education in schools is very necessary for good coordination and cooperation between school personnel, principals, teachers, other education personnel, and with parents or school committees and school supervisors to realize the goals that have been set with the coordination of all parties to this school, so that the ideals of quality education can be achieved as they should be (Ikhsandi,  2021). In order for schools to achieve their goals effectively and efficiently, school principals must carry out managerial functions such as planning, organizing, directing, motivating, implementing, organizing, control, evaluation and innovation. A good principal is expected to shape the implementation of learning carried out by good teachers. If learning at school is good, it will certainly result in good achievements of children and teachers. With this in mind, a school principal is needed who is able to lead and exert influence effectively in carrying out his obligations. The growth of such quality Islamic schools is undoubtedly inspired by the Islamization of formal education. Among the Islamic schools that are massively spread in various regions in Indonesia are Integrated Islamic Schools (SIT). Quality schools are able to improve and create an effective and quality educational environment under the leadership of school principals who have expectations in improving the quality of learning, inspiring and motivating educators and educators, being able to increase partnerships, support resource management and be able to face educational challenges.
