Abstract

In October 2023, the Constitutional Court's decision on age limit requirements for presidential and vice-presidential candidates stirred controversy, perceived as favoring a specific vice-presidential candidate. Public reactions flooded social media platforms, particularly on Najwa Shihab's YouTube channel, where sentiment analysis was conducted on 505 comments under the video titled "Putusan MK: Publik memang Seharusnya Marah" (Constitutional Court Decision: The Public Should Indeed Be Angry). The comments were categorized into three sentiment classes: 425 negative, 42 neutral, and 38 positive. The study employed Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) models tested on both imbalanced and balanced data using the SMOTE oversampling technique. Two feature extraction methods, TF-IDF weighting and countvectorizer, were applied. Results showed that the combination of TF-IDF with balanced data yielded the most effective classification model, boasting a remarkable accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, each at 99%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengelaborasi efikasi peserta Pendidikan Profesi Guru Prajabatan (PPGPRAJAB) sebagai bentuk dukungan yang diberikan oleh program Pendidikan Profesi Guru terhadap pelaksanaan ADi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan persepsi diri peserta PPGPRAJAB tentang kompetensi ADi yang mereka miliki dan mengungkap komitmen mereka untuk melaksanakan ADi pascaprogram. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta PPGPRAJAB Bahasa Indonesia yang mengikuti Pendidikan di Universitas Negeri Makassar sebanyak 169 orang. Sampel sebanyak 60 orang dipilih secara acak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket yang didistribusikan denga google form. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta PPGPRAJAB memiliki persepsi diri bahwa mereka kompeten untuk melaksanakan ADi dan mereka juga berkomitmen untuk melaksanakan ADi dengan baik dalam kegiatan mengajar yang mereka jalani. Disimpulkan bahwa peserta PPGPRAJAB akan menambah ketersediaan guru yang mampu menjalankan ADi dengan baik.

Abstract

Indonesia has levels of education where one of them is undergraduate education. There are requirements that must be done to get a bachelor's degree, one of which is to complete a final project in the form of a thesis. Nadiem Makarim, Minister of Education, Technology and Higher Education in his speech announced a new policy in the field of education regarding the non-obligation for students to prepare a thesis as a requirement for graduation. Based on this, there are pros and cons from the community, the sentiment analysis process related to this is needed. This research aims to map public sentiment contained in TikTok and YouTube social media related to the elimination of thesis using the MLP method. The stages carried out consist of observation, data collection, labeling, data normalization, preprocessing, data partitioning, TF-IDF weighting, classification, and evaluation. The accuracy obtained at the preprocessing scenario stage is 86% with case folding and stemming scenarios. Furthermore, this scenario is used in testing based on data partitioning where the highest accuracy results are obtained with a portion of 90% training data and 10% test data. The accuracy obtained is 94%.

Abstract

This study explores the application of machine learning for local market prediction in e-commerce. By leveraging the RFM segmentation method, the model predicts product sales based on user shopping patterns. The RFM score, calculated using recency, frequency, and monetary values of customer purchases, segments customers into distinct categories. The research utilizes a dataset obtained through seven parameters and performs data preprocessing. K-Means clustering then classifies customers into Low, Medium, and High levels based on their RFM scores. Customers in the Low category exhibit low purchase activity but high product browsing. The Medium segment displays consistent purchases of a limited product range. High-level customers demonstrate frequent purchases with significant spending. The identified customer segments enable targeted marketing strategies. For Low-level customers, discounts or product feature promotions can incentivize purchases. Combining product offerings can entice Medium-level customers to explore new products. Finally, High-level customers can be engaged through loyalty programs offering rewards. This approach empowers e-commerce sellers to tailor marketing strategies for each customer segment, enhancing market dominance.

Abstract

The utilization of technology in education is not only about using hardware or software, but also how technology can facilitate effective learning experiences. However, in the learning process there is a problem for teachers to know the level of student attention in the classroom to the material presented, so that the teacher does not know accurately the concentration of students during the learning process until it has an impact on the teacher's learning methods that are not in accordance with the characteristics of students. The purpose of this research is to detect students' facial expressions in the classroom learning process using yolov7. The implementation of several architectural models on CNN consists of several proposed methods, namely data collection, data augmentation, data annotation, split dataset, training, and model evaluation. System testing is done by measuring accuracy and comparing with other methods, namely CNN, CNN MobileNet, CNN EfficientNet-B0 and YoloV7. The test results show the average accuracy of CNN 80%, CNN MobileNet 93%, CNN EfficientNet-B0 31% and YoloV7 96%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the YoloV7 method can detect student concentration effectively and efficiently compared to CNN, CNN MobileNet, and CNN EfficientNet-B0.

Abstract

Fokus utama program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) di SMK Negeri 5 Barru adalah meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan guru dalam penggunaan teknologi Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) atau drone untuk pembelajaran pemetaan. Tujuan ini mendukung transisi metode pembelajaran dari konvensional ke modern, meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan kesiapan siswa di bidang geologi dan pertambangan. Melalui metode pelatihan dan workshop, program ini melibatkan guru maupun siswa dalam pengoperasian UAV, pengumpulan dan analisis data pemetaan, dan penggunaan software pemetaan seperti ArcGIS. Hasilnya, terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru, serta peningkatan minat dan pemahaman siswa tentang pemetaan. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi UAV dalam pendidikan tidak hanya memperkaya kurikulum tetapi juga mempersiapkan peserta didik dengan keterampilan yang relevan untuk industri modern.

Abstract

Pos Kesehatan Desa Pana, Enrekang adalah sebuah Instansi Kesehatan masyarakat Desa yang telah menerapkan sistem kedisiplinan mulai dari aturan kehadiran hari pertama masuk sampai waktu yang telah ditetapkan oleh instansi tersebut. Namun, pada pengambilan data kehadiran masih dilaksanakan dengan manual dengan menggunakan buku absen lalu ditanda tangani. Kekurangan dari absensi manual ini adalah pengurus bisa saja melakukan kecurangan contohnya dengan titip absen. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan dengan membuat absensi menggunakan QR Code yang berfungsi memberikan data respon yang tersimpan dengan baik dan tidak dapat dimanipulasi oleh pihak tertentu. Jenis penelitian merupakan research and development dengan metode pengembangan yaitu model waterfall. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan observasi. Sedangkan perancangan Use Case dan DFD, pembangunan sistem dan pengujian dilakukan untuk menghasilkan sistem informasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, sistem informasi dapat memberikan bantuan bagi instansi dan pegawai untuk menjalankan kinerjanya dengan lebih mudah dan mengurangi tekanan serta beban kerja yang diterima oleh pegawai

Abstract

Batik is a traditional art originating from Indonesia and recognized by UNESCO. Batik motifs vary depending on the region of origin. The diverse batik motifs reflect the rich cultural heritage and unique traditions owned by each region in Indonesia. From Sabang to Merauke, each motif features a different story and values, depicting the beauty and diversity of nature and the lives of diverse local people. However, in the context of the modern era that continues to develop, batik motifs also experience renewal and creativity that always adapts to the times. As a result, the diversity of batik motifs is increasingly abundant in Indonesia. Thus, complicating efforts to identify and categorize batik motifs appropriately. Therefore, in the context of this study, we chose to combine the MobileNetV2 model with Transfer Learning to classify batik motifs. We used a dataset consisting of 3000 batik images and categorized them into three main classes, namely Kawung batik, Mega Mendung batik, and Parang batik. This approach not only leads to the introduction and understanding of traditional batik motifs but also applies the latest technology for a more in-depth and accurate analysis. The results of this model show an extremely high level of testing accuracy, reaching 0.9946%, and training accuracy of 0.8916%, and the time required by the model to train and test the entire dataset is 18 minutes 1 second. Future research can explore the integration of other technologies or new approaches to improve accuracy and efficiency in classifying batik motifs.

Abstract

Scientific article writing training is an important step in preparing quality PKM-AI and PKM-GT proposals. A good scientific article not only clearly and systematically describes the research, but also demonstrates its relevance and contribution in the chosen field. Therefore, students need to understand the basic concepts of writing scientific articles, the proper structure, and effective writing techniques and strategies. This research aims to provide the understanding and skills needed in writing scientific articles as tips for success in writing proposals for the Student Creativity Program (PKM) in Artificial Intelligence (PKM-AI) and Game Technology (PKM-GT). In an era of rapid technological development, PKM is a way for students to develop creative and innovative ideas related to AI and GT. Training methods include presentation sessions, discussions, and writing practice. Participants will be introduced to the main steps in writing scientific articles, including selecting topics, identifying research questions, reviewing the literature, developing a framework, collecting data, analyzing data, and discussing results. In addition, participants will be taught how to avoid plagiarism and adhere to scientific writing ethics. It is hoped that the results of this training will provide an in-depth understanding of writing scientific articles and improve participants' abilities in preparing strong PKM-AI and PKM-GT proposals. With good writing skills, students are expected to be able to present their ideas and contributions clearly, as well as gain support and recognition from institutions and related parties.

Abstract

Training in the use of Canva application to assist employee performance is a program aimed at enhancing employees' graphic design skills using Canva. This training provides benefits for beginners who want to learn graphic design with user-friendly features and ready-to-use templates. Research also indicates that Canva application training has a positive impact on employee performance. Therefore, a socialization of Canva application training is conducted at the Office of North Galesong District, Takalar Regency to assist employees in improving their graphic design competence and performance. The implementation method of this activity involves collaboration with relevant parties, field surveys, training material preparation, socialization, workshops, evaluation, and visits to participants. The results and discussion of this activity encompass preparation, administration, counseling, and delivery of materials. Supporting factors in this activity include participants' interest and willingness, as well as interactions with the resource persons. However, there are inhibiting factors such as participants' initial lack of understanding of the Canva application, which can be overcome by providing detailed explanations. From this activity, it can be concluded that the socialization of Canva application usage is essential for enhancing employee performance in graphic design. Participants are expected to apply the training materials, leading to an improvement in knowledge, graphic design performance, and the dissemination of engaging information for the community in North Galesong District.
