Abstract

Students' speaking skills can be improved through Sasak folklore-based puppet learning media, making it easier for students to understand concepts and express opinions. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of Sasak folklore-based puppet media on the speaking skills of fourth-grade students of SDN 2 Lembar Selatan. This study used quantitative research with a Quasi Experimental research type with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population was 46 students consisting of two classes, namely class IV-A and IV-B. The sample selection used a saturated sample technique where class IV-A consisted of 24 students as an experiment and class IV-B consisted of 22 students as a control. Data collection techniques were in the form of observation and speaking skills tests. Data from observations of the implementation of puppet media using the Problem Based Learning model obtained an average of 80% with good categories from both teacher and student activities. Test result data were used to test the hypothesis using the t-test. Before implementing the t-test, a prerequisite test was first carried out which included a normality test and a homogeneity test. The results of the pretest normality test for the experiment were sig. 0.163> 0.05 and the control value was sig. 0.071>0.05 while the posttest experiment sig. value is 0.197>0.05 and the control sig. value is 0.272>0.05. The results of the pretest homogeneity test sig. value 0.061>0.05 and the posttest sig. value 0.913>0.05, then the data is said to be homogeneous. The test result data for the hypothesis test using the t test obtained a calculated value of 6.597>table 2.021 and sig. 0.00 <0.05, meaning that the proposed t was rejected and t was accepted, indicating that there was a difference between the two classes after being given treatment, so it was concluded that there was an influence of Sasak folklore-based puppet media on the speaking skills of fourth-grade students of SDN 2 Lembar Selatan.

Abstract

The results of a preliminary study conducted through a survey of 104 respondents showed that the majority of them (90.4%) had never developed comic-based media. This was due to difficulties in writing the story script (26%), creating character illustrations (74%), and combining story writing with illustration (12%). A total of 65% encountered obstacles in scriptwriting, 35% faced difficulties in drawing, and 10% experienced challenges in both areas. Therefore, we organized an activity entitled “Workshop on the Development of Comic-Based Learning Media Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Prospective Primary School Teachers.” The methods applied in this activity included a combination of lectures, Q&A sessions, demonstrations, and hands-on practice in developing AI-based comic media. The goal of this community service activity was to improve the knowledge and skills of prospective primary school teachers in developing AI-based comic learning media. The workshop, held on July 20, 2024, was carried out smoothly. The participants consisted of 23 students from the PGMI Program at UIN Mataram, with 65.2% female and 34.8% male. Based on their academic year, 13.04% were first-year students, 30.43% were second-year students, and 56.52% were third-year students. The workshop, conducted through presentations and demonstrations, successfully enhanced participants' knowledge and skills in developing AI-based comic learning media.

Abstract

Profil Pelajar Pancasila sebagai standar karakter peserta didik yang memiliki enam dimensi yaitu beriman, bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan berakhlak mulia, berkebinekaan global, bergotong-royong, mandiri, bernalar kritis, dan kreatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi implementasi Profil Pelajar Pancasila dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas V SDN 24 Mataram. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Profil Pelajar Pancasila dilakukan secara terintegrasi melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi hasil pelaksanaan. Pada tahap perencanaan, guru mengintegrasikan nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila ke dalam perencanaan tujuan, materi, kegiatan, metode, media, dan evaluasi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila diterapkan secara konsisten dari kegiatan pendahuluan hingga penutup. Pada tahap evaluasi, guru menetapkan strategi dan indikator penilaian untuk menilai ketercapaian implementasi Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Secara keseluruhan, implementasi Profil Pelajar Pancasila dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas V SDN 24 Mataram telah berjalan dengan baik dan selaras dengan capaian pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

Pembelajaran materi sistem pencernaan manusia memerlukan media pembelajaran yang inovatif untuk membantu peserta didik memahami konsep yang bersifat abstrak dan meningkatkan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media Flipbook berbasis Augmented Reality serta mengetahui validitas, kepraktisan, serta efektivitasnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, serta evaluasi. Media yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi serta diuji kepraktisan dan efektivitasnya melalui angket dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media Flipbook berbasis Augmented Reality tergolong sangat valid dengan persentase validasi ahli media sebesar 88,5% dan ahli materi sebesar 85%. Kepraktisan media berada pada kategori sangat praktis dengan persentase respon peserta didik sebesar 86% pada kelompok kecil dan 91% pada kelompok besar, serta respon guru sebesar 91%. Keefektifan media ditunjukkan oleh skor N-Gain sebesar 0,64 pada kelompok kecil dengan kategori sedang dan 0,70 pada kelompok besar dengan kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut media Flipbook berbasis Augmented Reality dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran materi sistem pencernaan manusia.

Abstract

Elementary science education faces challenges in visualizing abstract concepts such as the water cycle. This study aimed to examine the effect of animated video learning media on fifth-grade students' IPAS learning outcomes. A quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest was employed with 40 students at SD Negeri 15 Mataram, divided into an experimental group (n=22) using animated videos and a control group (n=18) using conventional methods. Data were collected through multiple-choice tests and analyzed using independent samples t-test. The experimental group achieved significantly higher posttest mean scores of 82.27 (SD=8.91) compared to the control group's 68.89 (SD=9.76), with t(38)=4.482, p<0.001, and mean difference of 13.38 points. Findings support the Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning, demonstrating that dual-channel presentation (visual and auditory) optimizes cognitive processing and knowledge construction. Animated videos facilitated visualization of dynamic water cycle processes difficult to observe directly, reduced cognitive load, and supported meaningful learning aligned with constructivist principles. Animated video media significantly enhanced IPAS learning outcomes on water cycle content, providing practical implications for technology integration in science education under the Kurikulum Merdeka framework.
