Abstract

Folklore of sasak te godek-godek and te tuntel-tuntel is a story that has existed for generations but is only told by word of mouth and few records in the form of storybooks without pictures. So that its existence began to be rarely found. This encourages the need for the development of stories in the form of animated comics. The existence of animated comics as a medium for learning Indonesian is very important, especially to improve the literacy of reading and writing skills of grade IV elementary school students. In this regard, this study aims to design animated comics containing sasak folklore to improve the reading and writing literacy skills of grade IV elementary school students. The method that will be used in achieving the objectives of this research is design research developed by Plomp. This development model has 3 phases, namely the initial research stage, the development stage, and the assessment stage. The initial research stage consists of problem identification and needs analysis activities, reviewing literature, and developing an initial framework for product development. Then in the development stage consists of activities to develop a product prototype for testing while conducting a formative evaluation of the product. Finally, in the assessment stage, namely conducting a summative evaluation of the product being developed. The results of this study obtained a product value of 90% feasibility from media experts and 81% material experts, at the stage involving respondents from teachers and students, a feasibility of 98% was produced.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media wayang kertas bermuatan cerita dongeng Sasak terhadap keterampilan menyimak siswa kelas V di SDN 42 Mataram. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group. Sampel terdiri dari 38 siswa yang dibagi rata ke dalam kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes, wawancara, dan observasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan uji t. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen (80,63) lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol (75,89), dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Dengan demikian, media wayang kertas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menyimak siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a design and determine the practicality of digital comicswith gotong royong character based on local sasak ‘begawe beleq’ for grade IVelementary school students. The type of research used is development research(Research and Development) with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages,namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Thisresearch was conducted at SDN 27 Cakranegara with the research subjects beinggrade IV students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires anddocumentation. The instruments used were validation sheets by media experts,material and language experts, as well as teacher and student responsequestionnaires. The results showed that digital comics with gotong royong characterbased on Sasak local wisdom ‘Begawe Beleq’ obtained a media expert validationscore of 96.6%, material expert validation of 91.3% and linguists 90% which wereincluded in the very valid category. The small group trial showed a level ofpracticality of 93.2% based on student responses and 96% based on the responsesof class IV teachers. In the large group trial, the level of practicality based on studentresponses reached 91.2%, while the grade III teacher was 98%, the practitionerteacher (librarian) obtained a score of 98% and the grade IV teacher 98% aftermaking improvements according to the input in the small group trial. All the scoreswere in the very practical category. So it can be concluded that digital comics withgotong royong character based on Sasak local wisdom ‘Begawe Beleq’ are veryvalid and practical for use in grade IV elementary school students.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to ascertain how well science comic media application affects fourth-grade elementary school students' science learning results. This kind of study uses a nonequivalent control group design and is quantitative in nature, with a quasi-experimental design. Students in grade IV at SDN 37 Cakranegara served as the study's subjects. Saturated sampling, a non-probability sampling approach, was the method employed. The independent sample t test was employed as the hypothesis test, and the normality and homogeneity tests were prerequisites that had to be satisfied. With an effect size value of 1.005, the independent sample t-test findings showed that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected with a t count> t table value of 3.179> 2.024 and a sig. (2-tailed) value <0.05, specifically 0.003 <0.05. The use of science comic media to the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 37 Cakranegara has been found to be successful, according to the study's findings.

Abstract

Rendahnya literasi membaca disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang monoton dan kurang variatif. Dibutuhkan pembelajaran interaktif dan beragam yang dapat mendorong keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis cerita rakyat Sasak terhadap literasi membaca siswa kelas IV SDN 32 Cakranegara. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen berjumlah 28 siswa yang diberikan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis cerita rakyat Sasak dan kelas kontrol berjumlah 27 siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Cerita rakyat Sasak yang digunakan sebagai bahan ajar adalah cerita Cupak Gerantang. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan observasi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan literasi membaca siswa memperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis cerita rakyat Sasak berpengaruh positif terhadap literasi membaca siswa. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran ini dapat direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif strategi pengajaran untuk meningkatkan literasi membaca di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan dan kepraktisan media buku cerita bergambar serta efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Instrumen penelitian meliputi angket ahli media dan materi, angket respon guru dan siswa, serta tes evaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN Gugus 2 Pekat, sedangkan objek yang diteliti adalah media buku cerita bergambar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media buku cerita bergambar sangat valid berdasarkan penilaian ahli media dan ahli materi dengan rata-rata 87,5%. Media dinilai sangat praktis dengan nilai 95,8% dari uji coba satu-satu, nilai uji coba kelompok kecil 90,5%, uji coba kelommpok besar dan respon guru dengan nilai rata-rata 89,6%.  Uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,001 dan skor N-Gain sebesar 0,68 untuk kelas eksperimen (kategori sedang) serta 0,03 untuk kelas kontrol (kategori rendah). Dengan demikian, media buku cerita bergambar terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas V SDN Gugus 2 Pekat.

Abstract

The effect of realistic mathematics education (RME) Model assisted by sasak culinary media on the Mathematics learning outcomes. The low level of students’ learning outcomes can be seen from the results of the 2022 PISA survey, which indicate scores significantly below the average of other participating countries, particularly in mathematical literacy. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model assisted by Sasak culinary media on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 13 Ampenan. This research employed a quantitative approach using a Quasi-Experimental Design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design type. The samples were selected using purposive sampling, with class IV-C serving as the experimental group, which was taught using the RME model assisted by Sasak culinary media, and class IV-D serving as the control group, which was taught using a conventional learning model. The data collection instruments consisted of observation sheets and learning achievement tests that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, independent t-tests, and N-Gain tests. The results showed a more significant improvement in learning outcomes in the experimental class (mean post-test score of 73.8) compared to the control class (mean post-test score of 60.4). The hypothesis test using the independent t-test showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. The N-Gain test result of 0.49 fell into the moderate category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the RME model assisted by Sasak culinary media has a positive effect on students’ mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning in elementary schools requires attractive and contextual learning media to increase students' learning interest. This research aims to develop learning media in the form of picture story books based on Sasak local wisdom that are feasible and practical to use for grade V students at SDN 2 Sakra. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model. This research was conducted at SDN 2 Sakra with grade V students as research subjects. Research instruments included media and material expert validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively by calculating feasibility and practicality percentages. The novelty of this research is the use of two languages in story presentation, namely Indonesian and Sasak regional language. The research results show that the picture story book based on Sasak local wisdom obtained validation from media experts of 95.78% with very feasible category, material expert validation of 94.67% with very feasible category, teacher response of 96.62% with very practical category, small-scale student response of 90.95% with very practical category, and large-scale student response of 86.94% with very practical category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that picture story books based on Sasak local wisdom are very feasible and practical to use as Indonesian language learning media for elementary school grade V students.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan literasi membaca siswa di Indonesia, yang tercermin dari hasil PISA yang stagnan, mendorong kebutuhan akan inovasi media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan (validity dan practicality), serta efektivitas media E-Comic Audio Visual (AV) yang mengangkat kearifan lokal Cerita Rakyat Sasak “Batu Golog” untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi membaca siswa kelas IV. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model uji coba pretest-posttest control group design. Validitas produk diukur melalui angket validator ahli, kepraktisan diukur melalui angket respons guru dan siswa, dan efektivitas diukur menggunakan Independent Samples t-Test pada kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV di Gugus VI Kecamatan Cakranegara. Produk E-Comic AV dinilai Sangat Valid oleh validator dan Sangat Praktis bagi guru dan siswa. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Uji-t menghasilkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05) dengan Mean Difference 10,79, yang berarti hipotesis nol ditolak. Media E-Comic AV berbasis Cerita Rakyat Sasak “Batu Golog” terbukti efektif secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi membaca siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Efektivitas ini didukung oleh integrasi audio-visual (Teori Kognitif Multimedia) dan relevansi konten budaya lokal yang berhasil meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi di kelas III SDN Manggong adalah guru jarang menggunakan media pembelajaran, khususnya media pembelajaran pada pembelajaran Matematika materi kalimat matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah pengembangan media kincir angka (Wheel Spinner) bermuatan soal cerita berbasis kearifan lokal sasak, (2) mengetahui validasi media kincir angka (Wheel Spinner) bermuatan soal cerita berbasis kearifan lokal sasak, (3) Untuk mengetahui kepraktisan media pembalajaran kincir angka (Wheel Spinner) bermuatan soal cerita berbasis kearifan lokal sasak pada siswa kelas III SDN Manggong. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan 5 tahapan yaitu analysis, design, development, dan implementation. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket validasi ahli media, angket validasi ahli materi, angket respon guru dan angket respon siswa. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian dan pengemabangan ini adalah media pembelajaran kincir angka dalam pembelajaran kalimat matematika pada siswa kelas III. Berdasarkan penilaian dari validator ahli media mendapatkan kriteria sangat valid dengan persentase 87,7% dan ahli materi mendapatkan kriteria sangat valid dengan persentase 90,9%. Hasil uji coba kepraktisan kelompok kecil berdasarkan respon guru mendapatkan kepraktisan sebesar dengan kriteria sangat praktis dengan persentase 98% sedangkan berdasarkan respon siswa mendapatkan kepraktisan dengan kriteria sangat praktis dengan persentase 98,4%. Oleh karena itu media pembelajaran kincir angka (wheel spinner) berbasis soal cerita bermuatan kearifan lokal sasak dapat digunakan untuk siswa SD kelas III pada mata pelajaran Matematika materi kalimat matematika.
