Abstract

Audio visual-based learning is a media that is concerned with hearing and vision. In era 4.0 the effective and efficient media-based learning are needed. The study is aimed to explain the effectiveness of the discovery learning model based on Sparkol Videoscribe and Chart on students learning outcomes in Economics, as well as looking at the influence of economic learning interest in class XI IPS students on their learning outcomes. This research design was comparative quantitative with the quasi-experiment approach. The object of this research was students? learning model of SMA Negeri 1 Randudongkal, Pemalang, Central Java. The level of effectiveness analysis techniques used t-test and N-Gain. The results showed that the experimental class had higher economic learning outcomes than the control class with a t-test value of 70.22 and an experimental class of 75.61. The variables of students learning interest-based on simple regression tests the results stated that 0.207 ? 0.05 then Ho was accepted Ha was rejected, it meant that there was no effect on the economic learning outcomes of students of XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Randudongkal.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase students’ economic learning interest and outcomes using digital literacy technology, such as Sparkol Video Scribe (SVc) and media chart (MC). This is an experimental research comprising of the control and treatment classes with international trade discussed as a sub-topic of the economic material. The learning activities method used the ADDIE model. While, the research subjects are high school students in Central Java. N-Gain model was used to determine the most effective level of analysis as well as the modification and path analysis. The main results showed that the application of SVc and MC learning models can attract students' interest in economic learning well. Although the SVc application was not effective in improving their overall performance, the MC literacy model was still effective. However, students' interest in learning about the second model has not been able to improve its performance significantly. The results further showed that the digital literacy method was not always able to improve student learning and performance effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

In the globalization era, technology absorption capacity is increasingly vital to own to improve the performance of entrepreneurial industry. The aim of this study was to elaborate the main role of technology absorption as the main determinant to boost the performance of global entrepreneurship. For the sake of analysis, the researchers took primary data from global entrepreneurship index (GEIINDEX, 2019) containing 137 countries that have been surveyed (Acs, 2019). The method of analysis used was path analysis model in recursive form derived from the experimental model of multiple regression method in form of ordinary least square (OLS). The results showed that technology absorption (TA) positively and significantly became the main determinant in improving the capacity and performance of global entrepreneurship, while the opportunity start-up (OS) was the supporting determinant. Shortly, the entrepreneurial industry should have the capacity of technology absorption and mastery to start a business (OS), improve capacity (ABT), and sustainably encourage the excellence of Global Entrepreneurship Performance (GEP)

Abstract

This research was aimed to analyze the level of technical efficiency and identify some factors that influence it and also solutions necessary to conduct to improve the efficiency of BUMD of production service field in Central Java Province. The analysis method used a Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) by a frontier analysis approach. The BUMN analysis unit of production service field was in Central Java. Variables used were input variables (capital deposited, total expenses and employee numbers) and output variables (income, profit before tax and dividend realization). Data used was a secondary data of BUMD of production service field periods 2011-2016. The research objects covered PD. CMJT, PT. SPJT, PT. SPHC, PDAB TU and PT. PRPP. The research results showed that out of five BUMDs of production service field in Central Java Province, there were two inefficient BUMDs include PDAB TU and PT. PRPP. PDAB TU was not efficient in 2012, 2013 and 2016, while PT. PRPP was not efficient during 2011-2016. Three out of five BUMDs namely PD. CMJT, PT. SPJT and PT. SPHC achieved efficiency of 100% during research period. The BUMDs inefficiency occurred due to combining unsuitable input variable magnitude so that needed to conduct adjustment of input factor magnitude in yielding output efficiently 100%. It could be concluded that there is a trend of efficiency in BUMD of production service field every year and there are two inefficient BUMDs. The BUMD inefficiency was caused by combining disproportional input factor magnitude. It was suggested the two inefficient BUMDs should adjust input factor value magnitude in achieving output efficiently 100%

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of attitudes, aspirations and abilities of entrepreneurs towards the success of entrepreneurial performance. The main data source in this study used 2019 global entrepreneurship index data (GEINDEX) from 137 countries. The analytical method uses the path analysis model. The research results show there are three main factors that are most fundamental in achieving successful entrepreneurial performance, namely risk acceptance factors, internationalization aspirational factors, and the ability to absorb technology. In other words, the main basic capital to achieve successful entrepreneurial performance in the era of globalization: 1) must accept existing risks, 2) has the global thought aspirations (internationalization), and 3)  have the capacity to absorb existing technology. However, the first key to success in achieving entrepreneurial performance is very much dependent on the strength of the aspirations or big dreams possessed by an entrepreneur.https://doi.org/10.26905/jmdk.v8i2.4174

Abstract

The low production of rice in Sengah Temila District of Landak Regency makes farmers’ income low. The purpose of this research was to analyze production, efficiency (technical, price and economy) and farmer income. The approach used in this research was quantitative approach. The production analysis used Cobb-Douglas’s production function with multiple linear regressions. Technical efficiency analysis used frontier production function with Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA). Allocative efficiency analysis used comparative analysis of marginal product value and input price. Economic efficiency analysis used the combination of technical efficiency and allocative efficiency. The income analysis used the difference between revenue and cost. The results showed that the average production of rice in Sengah Temila District Landak Regency was quite good with production of 5.819 kg/ha. The factors that affect the production level significantly ware the land size, seeds, pesticides and labors while the fertilizer factor had no significant effect because of quantity of fertilizer was less than needed. Land size was dominant factor that affect the production level. Technical efficiency was not yet efficient but it was nearly efficient with coefficient 0.96. Inefficiency of technical becuase of quantity of fertilizer was less than needed and over capacity of land. Based on allocative efficiency, the rice farming was far from efficient due to the high price of production factors, especially fertilizer and labor with coefficient 19.24. Economic efficiency was not efficient with coefficient of 18.38. Farmer’ income was Rp1,385,900.00 per household per month. Farmer' income was lower than the regional minimum wage (UMR) of Landak Regency in 2017 which was Rp2,000,920.00.
