Abstract

Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran minat belajar berpengaruh dalam terciptanya pembelajaran lebih efektif. Kurangnya minat belajar siswa kelas X di SMK Negeri 1 Cerme Kabupaten Gresik terhadap mata pelajaran PJOK materi bolavoli dipengaruhi oleh siswa merasa permainan bolavoli kurang mengasikkan karena bola yang digunakan terlalu berat dan net terlalu tinggi. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan minat belajar dilakukan modifikasi permainan dengan mengubah bolavoli dengan menggunakan bola plastik dan menurunkan tinggi net setara dengan rata-rata tinggi raihan tangan siswa. Metode yang diterapkan mengunakan Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design sampel kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Cerme yaitu 2 kelas sebagai kelas kontrol dan satu lainnya sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pada dasarnya penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh modifikasi permainan dan seberapa besar pengaruh modifikasi permainan pada minat siswa dalam pembelajaran bolavoli di kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Cerme Kabupaten Gresik. Hasil perhitungan statistik uji t menunjukan hasil nilai sig 0,000 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh modifikasi permainan bolavoli terdapat minat belajar PJOK materi bolavoli. Kemudian besaran pengaruh dihitung dengan uji n-gain mendapatkan hasil dari perlakuan yang diberikan dan terdapat peningkatan minat sebesar 0,3036.

Abstract

Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas individu melalui aktivitas fisik. Namun, rendahnya motivasi dan ketidakjelasan orientasi tujuan siswa memengaruhi hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan orientasi tujuan dan motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar PJOK. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional dengan 63 siswa kelas XI SMAN 16 Surabaya yang dipilih melalui cluster random sampling. Instrumen meliputi kuesioner TEOSQ, kuesioner motivasi belajar, serta nilai praktik bola voli, basket, dan bulu tangkis. Analisis Spearman menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan signifikan antara orientasi tujuan dan hasil belajar (p = 0,385), maupun motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar (p = 0,531). Namun, orientasi tujuan berhubungan signifikan dengan motivasi belajar (p = 0,000). Sebagian besar siswa memiliki hasil belajar Baik (81%), motivasi Sedang (65,1%), dan task-orientation dominan (82,04%). Disimpulkan orientasi tujuan memengaruhi motivasi, tetapi tidak langsung berhubungan dengan hasil belajar PJOK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi dukungan orang tua dan teman sebaya terhadap kepercayaan diri atlet usia SMP di klub bolabasket cahaya lestari surabaya. Rasa keyakinan  diri  yang tinggi  muncul  saat  persepsi  tentang seberapa sanggup, signifikan, dan kelayakan pengalaman dalam melakukan suatu aktivitas yang diawali dan diakhiri dengan kesuksesan. Namun pola komunikasi yang kurang baik (mengkritik, menegur) berpengaruh terhadap kepercayaan diri, sedangkan atlet remaja yang tidak memiliki teman sebaya dari sekolah yang sama memiliki rasa kurang percaya diri atau minder sehingga menyebabkan perilaku tertutup, dan menarik diri dari lingkungan sosial di klub. Jenis penelitian ini adalah mencari kontribusi tanpa adanya treatment, penelitian ini menggunakan kuisioner untuk pengambilan data dan pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS 23.0. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui pertemuan ZOOM dan kuisioner diberikan melalui google form. Hasil penelitian ini adalah dukungan orang tua terhadap kepercayaan diri berkontribusi sebesar 14,6%, dan dukungan teman sebaya terhadap kepercayaan diri  sebesar 33,1%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas kategori dukungan orang tua mendapatkan rata- rata rendah dan dukungan teman sebaya sedang, sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi dukungan orang tua dan teman sebaya terhadap kepercayaan diri atlet usia SMP di klub bolabasket cahaya lestari surabaya. Abstract

This study shows that the use of a play-based approach has proven effective in increasing students' learning motivation in Physical Education, Sports, and Health subjects. The research findings reveal that play activities encourage students to be more physically active and to pay more attention to their physical health. Through the implementation of classroom action research over two cycles, it was found that this approach can serve as an effective alternative to enhance students’ active participation in PJOK learning. Based on data collected through observation, documentation, and questionnaires, a significant increase in learning motivation was observed after the play-based approach was applied. The conclusion of this study states that the play-based approach has great potential in fostering interest and enthusiasm for learning among sixth-grade students in class VI D at SD Negeri Lidah Kulon 1 Surabaya in PJOK lessons. Therefore, this approach is recommended for creating a more enjoyable and effective learning atmosphere.

Abstract

This study determined the correlation between sedentary activities and interest in Physical Education learning in adolescents. Correlational analysis was utilized in this study, with a sample of 33 students obtained using an accidental sampling technique. The research instrument used an ASAQ questionnaire to acquire sedentary activity data and a learning interest questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability values of 0.801> 0.60. The results revealed that the sedentary activity of watching videos/DVDs was the highest, with an average duration of 95.09 minutes/day, and the sedentary activity of reading for pleasure was the lowest, with an average duration of 19.91 minutes/day. Meanwhile, the average interest in Physical Education learning is medium. The product-moment correlation test showed that the Pearson correlation value is -0.350, so it can be concluded that sedentary activities and interest in Physical Education learning have a significant negative correlation. The result stated that the highest sedentary activities had the lowest learning interest.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the learning enthusiasm of 4B grade students at SDN Pakis 1 Surabaya in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) through the implementation of traditional games, specifically "gobak sodor," using a Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. The method employed is Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles. Data were collected through questionnaires to measure student learning interest and direct observations during the learning process. Analysis results show an increase in student learning interest from 48.40% in the first cycle to 70.80% in the second cycle. The application of traditional games proved effective in creating a more enjoyable and interactive learning atmosphere while reinforcing cultural values. This research concludes that integrating traditional games into learning not only boosts student motivation but also provides a richer and more meaningful learning experience. Therefore, it is recommended to adopt similar approaches in other learning contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of integrating traditional games in improving the gross motor skills of elementary school students. The research method used is experimental with a pre-test and post-test one group design. The population consisted of fourth-grade students from an elementary school, with a sample of 30 students selected from one class. The instrument used to measure gross motor skills was the Test of Gross Motor Development-2, which has been adapted and validated for the Indonesian context. Data analysis showed a significant increase in gross motor skills after participating in traditional game interventions. The pre-test data were not normally distributed (Sig. Shapiro-Wilk = 0.007), while the post-test data were normally distributed (Sig. = 0.128). The paired t-test results indicated a t-value of 132.366 with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, confirming a significant improvement. The traditional games specifically used in this study were Boi-boian and kasti. Boi-boian involves actions such as throwing and dodging, which effectively develop coordination and reaction skills. Kasti, a bat-and-run game, trains students in hitting, catching, and sprinting, enhancing strength, agility, and motor accuracy. The integration of these two games provided diverse physical challenges and significantly boosted student engagement.These findings suggest that traditional game-based interventions can serve as an effective strategy for enhancing gross motor skills in elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on students’ learning motivation in the context of physical fitness education. Employing a pre-experimental approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, the study involved 23 fifth-grade elementary students, selected using purposive sampling based on specific criteria. A learning motivation questionnaire was utilized as the main instrument, and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, and the paired sample t-test. Results showed an increase in the average motivation score from 23.35 (pretest) to 25.65 (posttest). The data met the assumption of normality, with a significance value above 0.05. The paired sample t-test revealed a significance level of 0.000, indicating a statistically significant difference before and after the implementation of the PjBL model. In conclusion, Project-Based Learning has a significant positive effect on improving students’ motivation, offering a more engaging, contextual, and meaningful learning experience.

Abstract

Penelitian yang akan dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dalam melakukan pernainan engklek dan sos. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, di mana setiap siklus melibatkan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 4 di SDN Pakis 1 yang berjumlah 31 orang. Hasil pada siklus I menunjukkan bahwa 9 siswa berhasil mencapai kategori baik, 11 siswa mencapai kategori cukup, sehingga total siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 20 orang, sementara 11 siswa lainnya belum tuntas dan masuk dalam kategori kurang. Pada siklus II, 10 siswa mencapai kategori sangat baik, 5 siswa berada di kategori baik, dan 9 siswa mencapai kategori cukup, sehingga total 24 siswa dinyatakan tuntas, sedangkan 7 siswa masih belum tuntas dengan kategori kurang. Nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus I adalah 66%, dan meningkat menjadi 77% pada siklus II, menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 11%. Tingkat ketuntasan belajar pada siklus I mencapai 66%, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 77%, dengan peningkatan sebesar 11%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa permainan tradisional engkelk dan sos efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar membuat proses pembelajaran lebih menarik dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Background. Accuracy in serving contributes to an athlete's game consistency, making them more unpredictable for opponents. This not only affects the technical aspect but also the psychological one, as players with accurate serves are able to maintain mental pressure on the opponent, which can ultimately change the dynamics of the match. Objectives. This research evaluates service accuracy in beginner tennis athletes at PELTI Pangkep, an aspect often overlooked in sports literature. The research gap lies in the lack of studies concerning service accuracy, especially among beginner athletes. The research aims to measure tennis service accuracy. Methods. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a survey design conducted on January 23, 2024, involving 20 beginner tennis athletes aged 10"“18 years at PELTI Pangkep, selected through purposive sampling. The instrument used was the Hewitt Test to evaluate serves, performed with 3 trials and 10 scored serves. The data was then analyzed descriptively to calculate the mean, standard deviation, and distribution of the test results. Results. The results show that 1 athlete or 5% were in the high category, 5 athletes or 25% in the medium category, 4 athletes or 20% in the low category, and 10 athletes or 50% in the very low category, with an average score of 27.85. Conclusion. The conclusion of this research indicates that the service accuracy of beginner tennis athletes at PELTI Pangkep is still low, with most athletes in the very low category. This research contributes to the development of more effective training methods for beginner athletes.
