Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of integrating traditional games in improving the gross motor skills of elementary school students. The research method used is experimental with a pre-test and post-test one group design. The population consisted of fourth-grade students from an elementary school, with a sample of 30 students selected from one class. The instrument used to measure gross motor skills was the Test of Gross Motor Development-2, which has been adapted and validated for the Indonesian context. Data analysis showed a significant increase in gross motor skills after participating in traditional game interventions. The pre-test data were not normally distributed (Sig. Shapiro-Wilk = 0.007), while the post-test data were normally distributed (Sig. = 0.128). The paired t-test results indicated a t-value of 132.366 with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, confirming a significant improvement. The traditional games specifically used in this study were Boi-boian and kasti. Boi-boian involves actions such as throwing and dodging, which effectively develop coordination and reaction skills. Kasti, a bat-and-run game, trains students in hitting, catching, and sprinting, enhancing strength, agility, and motor accuracy. The integration of these two games provided diverse physical challenges and significantly boosted student engagement.These findings suggest that traditional game-based interventions can serve as an effective strategy for enhancing gross motor skills in elementary school students.

Abstract

Physical Education learning in elementary schools still often focuses solely on motoric aspects, so that strengthening students' cognitive aspects is less than optimal. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in improving students' critical thinking skills in PJOK subjects. The method used is quantitative with a pretest-posttest design, involving 33 grade IV students at SDN Sidodadi II Taman, Sidoarjo, who were selected randomly. The instrument in the form of a critical thinking questionnaire was compiled based on five main indicators: formulating problems, analyzing, evaluating, being open to alternatives, and expressing opinions based on facts. The results of the paired sample t-test showed a significant increase (p = 0.000 <0.05) after the implementation of PjBL. These findings indicate that PjBL is effective in encouraging active involvement, collaboration, and analytical thinking of students in PJOK learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between intellectual intelligence (IQ) and emotional intelligence (EQ) on physical education (PJOK) learning achievement in sixth grade students at SDN Wonorejo V/316 Surabaya, which implements an inclusive school culture. This study uses a quantitative correlational approach with an ex post facto design. The research subjects were 30 students who were selected purposively. Data were collected through IQ tests, EQ questionnaires, documentation of PJOK scores, and interviews with six students representing high and low IQ categories. The data analysis techniques used were Pearson correlation test and multiple linear regression. The results showed that there was a very strong relationship between IQ and PJOK learning achievement (r = 0.965; sig = 0.000), and a significant relationship between EQ and learning achievement (r = 0.476; sig = 0.008). Simultaneously, IQ and EQ contributed 93.1% to students' PJOK learning achievement (R² = 0.931). Interviews showed that an inclusive environment plays a role in shaping students' social interactions, empathy, and cooperative attitudes, which also support successful PJOK learning.

Abstract

Aktivitas fisik merupakan gerakan tubuh yang dapat meningkatkan pengeluaran energi dan pembakaran energi. Percaya diri merupakan salah satu aspek kejiwaan dalam psikologi yang harus dimiliki setiap orang yang hal ini termasuk dalam peningkatan performa atau banyak menentukan penampilan yang lebih baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan aktivitas fisik terhadap tingkat percaya diri siswa kelas X mengikuti pembelajaran PJOK di SMA Antartika Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif non eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain korelasional. Data penelitian aktivitas fisik diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner IPAQ dan penyebaran kuesioner percaya diri menggunakan Google Form. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Antartika Sidoarjo yang berjumlah 423 siswa, sampel ditentukan menggunakan cluster random sampling dengan rumus Slovin mendapatkan hasil yaitu kelas X-10, X-11, dan X-13 dengan jumlah keseluruhan 96 siswa. Analisis data statistik deskriptif dan uji normalitas menggunakan Kolmogorov-Smirnov menunjukkan data tidak berdistribusi normal, sehingga analisis dilakukan dengan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian mayoritas siswa memiliki tingkat aktivitas fisik (41,7%) pada kategori Sedang, dan tingkat percaya diri (51,0%) pada kategori Baik. Kontribusi aktivitas fisik terhadap tingkat percaya diri sebesar 7,2%. Analisis data diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi Spearman sebesar r = 0,269. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara aktivitas fisik dan percaya diri siswa dengan tingkat signifikasi (p=0,008<0,05).

Abstract

Pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) di sekolah dasar seringkali masih menggunakan metode konvensional yang kurang melibatkan murid secara aktif, terutama pada materi keterampilan dasar sepak bola. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan video pembelajaran berbasis kecerdasan artifisial (KA) terhadap peningkatan motivasi dan kesenangan belajar murid. Penelitian menggunakan metode campuran dengan desain quasi eksperimen untuk pendekatan kuantitatif dan wawancara untuk pendekatan kualitatif. Sampel terdiri dari 50 murid kelas V SDN Kandangan III/621 Surabaya, yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket motivasi dan kesenangan, serta wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan signifikan pada motivasi dan kesenangan belajar setelah menggunakan video berbasis KA, dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan buku paket. Hasil wawancara mendukung hasil kuantitatif, dimana murid merasa lebih antusias, mudah memahami gerakan, dan merasa percaya diri saat praktik. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa media video berbasis KA efektif meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PJOK dan relevan untuk mendukung kebutuhan belajar murid sekolah dasar di era digital.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi mempengaruhi kecenderungan siswa dalam bermain game online, dan berdampak terhadap aspek emosional siswa, khususnya dalam hal regulasi emosi. Berbagai faktor juga turut memengaruhi capaian hasil belajar, di antaranya yaitu penggunaan game online dan rendahnya kemampuan regulasi emosi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan game online dan regulasi emosi terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X pada pembelajaran PJOK di SMA NU 2 Gresik. Sebanyak 69 siswa menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini, yang memakai pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang diterapkan adalah cluster random sampling. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasional dengan intrumen penelitiannya menggunakan angket game online dan angket regulasi emosi. Teknik pengumpulan data untuk angket game online dan angket regulasi emosi yaitu dengan menyebarkan link Google Form. Data di analisis menggunakan teknik analisis product moment dan regresi berganda. Hasil analisis product moment menunjukkan variabel penggunaan game online dan hasil belajar memiliki nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,139 > 0,05 sehingga Tidak adanya hubungan signifikan antara penggunaan game online terhadap hasil belajar. Analisis variabel regulasi emosi terhadap hasil belajar menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 < 0,05, sehingga Adanya hubungan signifikan antara regulasi emosi terhadap hasil belajar. Selain itu, Hasil analisis regresi berganda untuk variabel penggunaan game online dan regulasi emosi terhadap hasil belajar, nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh adalah 0,005 < 0,05. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa adanya hubungan signifikan antara penggunaan game online dan regulasi emosi terhadap hasil belajar.

Abstract

Background: Football is a highly popular sport worldwide, including in Indonesia. In football matches, referees play a crucial role that significantly determines the course of the game and its final outcome. However, this role often leads to pressure that can trigger anxiety due to physical, mental, and emotional demands from various parties such as players, coaches, and spectators. This study aims to analyze the level of anxiety experienced by Indonesian football referees when officiating professional matches. Methods: This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with surveys as the data collection method. The research sample consists of 21 professional football referees in Indonesia, aged 25-40 years, with 1-18 years of experience. The research instrument used is the Football Referee Anxiety Scale (FRAS) questionnaire, covering four dimensions of anxiety: cognitive, affective, somatic, and motoric. Results: The study results show that the majority of referees have a low level of anxiety, with an average score of 67.19. A total of 52.4% of referees have low anxiety, while 33.3% fall into the high category. The most prominent aspects of anxiety are cognitive and affective dimensions, where several referees experience difficulties in decision-making and emotional burdens Conclusions: The level of anxiety among Indonesian football referees when officiating professional matches varies. Most referees have a low level of anxiety. The most frequently affected aspects of anxiety include the cognitive and affective dimensions, which involve feelings of worry, difficulty concentrating, and emotional burdens. Abstract

This study investigates the impact of 30-minute aerobic exercise before iftar on the mood states of university students during Ramadan. Fasting during Ramadan poses physiological and psychological challenges, including fatigue, irritability, and decreased mood. While previous studies have explored the negative impacts of fasting on mood, limited research has focused on the potential benefits of aerobic exercise in alleviating these effects. A total of 21 male university students aged 18-23 (mean age = 19.0 years), with a mean body weight of 57 ± 7.39 kg and a mean height of 163.76 ± 7.45 cm, participated in this study. They engaged in moderate-intensity jogging (60-70% of their maximum heart rate) for 30 minutes, three times per week, during Ramadan. The Profile of Mood States (POMS) questionnaire was used to measure mood changes across six subscales: tension, anger, fatigue, depression, vigor, and concentration. The Shapiro-Wilk test confirmed normality of the data, and One-Way ANOVA was used to assess significant mood changes. The results showed significant reductions in negative mood states such as tension, anger, fatigue, and depression, and a notable increase in vigor. Conditions such as tension, anger, fatigue, and depression, as well as a significant increase in enthusiasm. Not only that, there is an increase in concentration. The findings of this study indicate that doing aerobic exercise before breaking the fast can improve mood and concentration well during the Ramadan fast, so this exercise offers a practical solution to support the mental and physical health of fasting students.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia, which has been experienced since March 2020, has brought about changes in people's lives in all fields, including education. Fun education with various interactions between friends, teachers and educational media must be replaced by distance learning (PJJ) or home learning (BDR). This condition not only has a positive impact, but also a negative impact, especially when many students experience boredom, anxiety, depression, longing for schoolmates, and also worry because of the economic conditions of families affected by the co-19 pandemic. The conditions mentioned above will greatly affect the mental health of students. But unfortunately, many teachers are less sensitive and concerned about the various negative excesses that students experience while participating in online learning. Often many teachers, parents and the community only pay attention to physical symptoms that are disturbed, but symptoms of potential psychiatric disorders are sometimes ignored. A new mental health problem becomes a problem when it has an impact on physical health or when deviant behavior arises. This training emerged as a form of solution to support students' mental health through fun games and early detection of mental disorders.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  Digital technology has become an integral part of society's life, including students in Madiun City. The rapid development of the digital world provides easy access to information, but it also brings negative impacts, such as social media addiction, hoax spreading, and reduced ability to interact directly, so it is necessary to provide digital literacy training programs that aim to help students develop skills in using technology wisely and critically. Although several programs related to digital literacy have been conducted, many students still do not fully understand how to utilize technology effectively, so the negative impacts can be minimized. The purpose of this community service is to provide digital literacy training to counteract the negative influence of technology on students in Madiun City. The method of implementing this activity includes four stages: preparation, subject and location selection, implementation, and evaluation and analysis. All the data needed during this activity were collected using pretest sheets, posttest sheets, and satisfaction questionnaires. This PKM activity involved 45 people, consisting of 32 participants, 8 partner representatives, and 5 community service team members. The result of this community service activity is a positive response from all participants related to the implementation of the activity, with an average percentage above 85% and participants' understanding of digital literacy and its impact on technology, with an average percentage above 90%. This activity concludes that the activity is interesting, participants feel the benefits of the activity, and participants expect there to be more activities like this.  Keywords: Community service; digital literacy; higher education student; Madiun City; Technology.   ABSTRAK  Teknologi digital telah menjadi bagian integral dalam kehidupan masyarakat, tak terkecuali bagi mahasiswa di Kota Madiun. Perkembangan pesat dunia digital memberikan kemudahan akses informasi, namun juga membawa dampak negatif, seperti kecanduan media sosial, penyebaran hoaks, serta berkurangnya kemampuan berinteraksi langsung sehingga perlu diberikan program pelatihan literasi digital yang bertujuan untuk membantu mahasiswa mengembangkan keterampilan dalam menggunakan teknologi dengan bijak dan kritis. Meskipun beberapa program terkait literasi digital telah dilakukan, masih banyak mahasiswa yang belum sepenuhnya memahami cara memanfaatkan teknologi dengan efektif, sehingga dampak negatifnya dapat diminimalisir. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan literasi digital untuk menangkal pengaruh negatif teknologi bagi mahasiswa di Kota Madiun. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi empat tahap kegiatan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pemilihan subjek dan lokasi, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi dan analisis. Keseluruhan data yang dibutuhkan selama proses kegiatan ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar pretest, lembar posttes, dan angket kepuasan terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan. Kegiatan PKM ini melibatkan 45 orang yang terdiri 32 orang peserta, 8 orang pihak mitra, dan 5 orang tim pengabdian. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah respon positif dari seluruh peserta terkait pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan persentase rata-rata diatas 85% dan pemahaman peserta terkait literasi digital dan dampaknya terhadap teknologi dengan persentase rata-rata diatas 90%.  Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan menarik, peserta merasakan manfaat dari kegiatan ini, dan peserta mengharapkan akan ada kegiatan seperti ini.
